Papilla Viale Duca D'aosta Reviews
Amazing mini-pizzas and pizzas, nothing to envy of gluten-containing products.
We went there for a business meeting, and everything was perfect. Frankly, anyone who's surprised by the prices for gluten-free products either has celiac disease or doesn't travel to many places. In fact, I'd say we found prices in line with gluten-free bakeries, which have significantly lower production costs. The panettone, for example, at €35 each, is absolutely in line. Everything was excellent, the piadinas were superb.
A beautiful place dedicated exclusively to gluten-free options, with convenient outdoor and underground parking. This bar/shop/pastry shop also offers a wide range of fresh lactose-free products, making it ideal for those with gluten intolerances! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the location is clean and welcoming, and there's a fully equipped bathroom. They also offer freshly prepared first courses for lunch, as well as a wide range of sweet and savory items, including bread, pizzas, focaccias, brioches, and pastries, all completely handmade! If you're in Brescia, it's impossible not to stop here and resist the temptations and variety Papilla offers. ❤️
As someone who's wheat and lactose intolerant, this place is great! The food is excellent and delicious.
I stopped by Papilla for a coffee and was tempted by a pastry. The atmosphere was bright, well-kept, and spacious, with friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised to discover, only later, that everything was gluten-free! Highly recommended!
I can't help but give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, for health reasons, I find myself having to follow a gluten-free diet. First of all, I found the staff to be super friendly and helpful, and secondly, very importantly, I found a lot of gluten-free products that were truly delicious. If you're celiac or have an intolerance, this place is for you... We've been there several times for breakfast, but I'll definitely try it for lunch sooner or later.
Really nice and welcoming place, with a comfortable space where you can sit and enjoy a peaceful break. I really appreciated the attention to gluten-free: the food is not only suitable for those with intolerances, but also really good and tasty! A pleasant discovery that I absolutely recommend.
I finally found a place that makes a vegan and gluten-free croissant! A dream come true for me! Delicious!... In addition to the bar service, the place also has a fully gluten-free pastry shop, as well as bread and savory snacks. During lunchtime, they offer a varied selection of piadinas, all gluten-free. Some interesting vegan options are worth trying in the piadinas, and vegan desserts are also available upon reservation. There's also a shop inside with various packaged gluten-free products for purchase.
A perfect place for celiacs looking for both packaged and prepared on site gluten free stuff. You can drink a caffe, eat some sweets prepared on site and buy other products to get it home. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Fully recommend

Bar/pastry shop/quick lunches/shop, everything perfect...and everything gluten-free! It's easy to find and has convenient parking in the back. The place is fresh and clean, the staff is fast and friendly, very polite. We had lunch and tried two pastries, and while waiting for our dishes, we ordered a slice of pizza by the slice and a whole wheat focaccia with olives: everything was delicious, everything we tried was delicious, even the cappuccino was good... 😀 Plus, the service is super fast...kudos...
very nice. good breakfast. fair
Everything is excellent, sweet and savory, and all gluten-free. How wonderful to finally be able to enjoy a piping hot slice of pizza or a slice of focaccia! Part of the restaurant is dedicated to a gluten-free grocery store. The prices for some items may be a little high. The atmosphere is comfortable. I think there's a bit of a difference between morning and afternoon service, but I could be wrong.
I've only been there once, and I didn't have a great experience. It was a Saturday afternoon, the place was empty, and the waitress was mopping the floor. They offer gluten-free products at very high prices. But honestly, I've never had a gluten-free Americano for €4.50, not even in Milan...
We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon by chance while we were in the area. There was no one at the tables, and it didn't look promising from the start. We had an Americano, a tea, three small pastries, and a slice of Torta di Rose, and then we also grabbed a few sandwiches on the way out. I understand that they have gluten-free products, which obviously cost more, but overall we paid over €20, and especially the Americano was €4.50! I'm sorry, but I don't think we'll be back!
Mini appetizer pizzas, puff pastry style (about 4x5 cm, to give you an idea) €1.50 each. For 6 snacks, counted in the bag, I spent €9. A nasty surprise at the checkout. Too much!
