Cafezal Viale Premuda Reviews
This is an excellent place for either an early morning espresso or brunch. Their menu offered quite a variety and everything I tried over several days was very good. Unlike some older establishments they offer a really nice flat white. If you are staying in the area, this is a great way to start your day.
Absolute must visit in Milan, if you’re looking for coffee, brunch or pastries. This cafe’ is has a great coffee menu of traditional Italian coffees as well as more modern brew methods like pour overs, batch brew, and cold brew. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They’re roasters too if you’re looking for some beans to buy and brew at home. I had a Kenyan pour over that was great. Our “Classic” breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon over toast was nice break from pastries every morning.
I came here during my short stay in Milan and Felipe, the barista, made me a fantastic cortado. He was super friendly and seemed very passionate about coffee. The cafe itself was clean and comfortable with a roasting area on site and some cool coffee gadgets on display. I enjoyed my quick visit!
I was looking for a cafe to study, but turned out they also have a co working space! Service was great, waiters were very helpful, they gave me an extra 10%. So technically to sit in the co working place for half a day i paid 5€. Very quiet place with good lighting. The food was good i tried the scrambled eggs 🍳 Overall service is great. Will definitely return!
As a visitor, I think Cafezal Brunch & Specialty Coffee Hub is a great stop: the specialty coffee is excellent and the atmosphere is stylish but relaxed. I also really appreciated the breakfast - the croissant with egg, bacon and avocado was delicious and the portion surprisingly big. Prices are a bit high, but for good coffee and a solid, tasty breakfast, it’s worth it. Minus: the prices are very high. We paid 56 € for two breakfasts, two coffees and two teas — definitely more than I’d expect, even in Milan. ButI have to admit it was delicious.
My friend ordered iced americano, while I had Vitamin Salad (add some salmon to add protein 🤣). I didn’t try my friends drink, but my salad is fresh and heavenly. The dressing, Senape e Arancia, has this right amount of oil and citrusy taste to it. Their menus offers breakfast to dinner dishes. And drinks too (coffee, juices and alcoholic ones). Music and cafe feel is over all good.
The place is very nice and perfect for overpriced speciality coffee . The vibes are the same of those International chains. There are plenty of seats inside, a well designed and lush environment and seats that are really comfortable-making you want to stay more. There is an outside seating area as well. A chai latte ☕️cost €5 (6.50 with soy milk and take away). The unexplainable thing is that it’s served in a small cup… Totally missing the point of “latte” . However the taste was really really great! I didn’t try it - but Super interesting is the South American Mate options in their drinks menu. They offer several vegan treats options like banana bread, chocolate cupcake, hazelnut cake and a few other sweets . The baked cheesecake 🍰( 6€ ) was well made, perfect balance between the berry coulis and the cheesecake, baked to perfection and not dry.
The place offers a desk for working/studying with reachable outlets. The atmosphere is a mixture of European/Modern Latin. Their coffee is great but spoons are not thoroughly cleaned. The waitresses/waiters are nice and caring. They offer 10% discount if you fill out their online forms as well. Recommended for a meet up w/ friends. Employees can speak English too
This café is visually stunning—everything from the decoration to the small bites and pastries is beautiful. But honestly, it’s overpriced for the taste, and definitely not worth the price. What truly baffled me was the policy on laptops. After finishing my breakfast, I opened my laptop to answer a few emails and wanted to ask for the WiFi. That’s when I found out laptops aren’t allowed unless I pay a €16 day pass for the “workspace.” Are you kidding me? No thanks. Ciao!
