dal Milanese Viale Premuda Reviews
Fantastic local restaurant, excellent food. Friendly English speaking staff. Outstanding value and service!
The best experience and food I’ve had in Milan so far. What made it the best was really the staff, so kind, so professional and best recommendations on food and wine. I really felt at home while dining solo at the restaurant. I highly recommend if you are visiting Milan!
The service was great. We met our daughter for dinner here. We had a reservation and it was not busy yet when we arrived (around 7pm), but got really busy quickly. We wanted to try a few different dishes. We ordered Osso Bucco with Risotto Milanese, Beef Cheeks with Polenta, Grilled Octopus and some pasta. Pasta was good, osso bucco was OK, but not great. It lacked that oomph. We make osso bucco with parsley gremolatta and this one was missing that extra something. Beef cheeks was really good. Octopus was really dry, but not yet chewy, so I think it was a little better than ok. For dessert we had a zabbaione with amaretto (but there was almost no amaretto) and colomba with cream and it was good. We will be back to try other dishes. Service was really good and quick. I would invite people over there again.
Absolute must visit spot in Milano. The atmosphere upon entering is comfy, stylish and inviting. The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. If your Italian isn’t good they automatically switch to English to help out. The food was absolutely incredible, must tries are the meatballs, paccheri and of course the massive cotoletta alla milanesa! The wine recommendations are always spot on and all in all, it’s an experience that shouldn’t be missed when visiting Milano. Can’t wait to go back again!
After traveling, we were starving and looked for a place to eat, which the hotel suggested we visit. The atmosphere and location are very captivating. The food was delicious and sufficient. Congratulations to the chef. The staff was kind and helpful, although we arrived shortly before the siesta. Overall we were delighted, we will definitely be back here again. So would recommend the place to everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highly recommended. I had a wonderful meal on the terrasse here. The waiter rightly steered me to a great pinot bianco to accompany an extraordinary dish of raw, finely sliced artichokes in a rich dressing, followed by deeply tasty pasta with clams and roe that gave it extra depth. Warm, helpful waitstaff made this an exceptional evening.

A friend recommended this restaurant to us during our recent trip to Milan and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is hip and fun, yet it still feels authentic. I got the veal cutlet and my husba…
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and turned out to be a good choice. Excellent food, wine and service. It was also very good value. It was very busy for weekday and we could understand …
Everything we got was super good, especially the charcuterie board Drinks are pretty strong. Love the atmosphere in this place! We saw no other tourists.
On the pricey side (especially antipasti), but the flavor of food is good (I ate the cutlet, while my partner the beef cheek). The bread basket was to die. The layout is a bit tight and loud when busy. Recommended for a date night, but for groups I'm unsure how effective.
I found Dal Milanese on Open Table and then verified the reviews on Google. I was looking for a quality and sit-down place for a meal in Milan that was open after 11 PM. I had eaten at a different restaurant an hour earlier, and since portions are wonderfully and appropriately small in Italy, my strategy was try as many different foods as possible at as many restaurants. I also wanted to find a place that specialized in Milanese risotto since I hadn't tried it yet, and I love risotto. The location is far away from most tourist attractions, which you may like or not. Some prefer to be seated outside, in the middle of things to people watch. This is not a place to people watch. It's located in a quiet neighborhood. The mosquitos and other biting insects are pretty common right now in Italy also, there has been so much rain. So be ready for them for your Italian Summer, even inside the restaurants! I love the way the place is decorated, with photos, great lighting, wine, it's just a nice looking place when you walk in. Dal Milanese has a nice wine list, but then all the restaurants seem to have this in Italy, no matter where you eat. The service was painfully slow, but there was only one person serving, so I let it slide. They at least offered bread and olive oil during the wait. Dal Milanese serves traditional risotto, and I was so glad to finally try it. The rice was prepared perfectly, and was the perfect texture. If you love saffron, you'll love their risotto. This place is great for a late night meal with drinks.
tried this spot the first day I was in Milan got in super late and was craving pasta, of course. It was just around the corner from where I was staying and had a great vibe to it. I was served promptly the pasta was fantastic. The table wine was good, overall a great experience. Pricing is fair. Will go again.
Nice restaurant in a beautiful building, very eclectic decor. Team were nice, food was all delicious. Especially recommend the boar pasta and steak. Atmosphere was nice too

Pleasantly surprised, inexpensive and very tasty main courses, mine of pasta and my wife’s of risotto. This with a couple of nice cocktails and a nice glass of red went down very well indeed. A thor…
Very average food. Can do better in a place like Milan with extensive choices for dining. I can’t even remember what I ordered because it was so unremarkable.

Nice and quiet environment. The day we went to was not crowded at all. There was only us until 8 pm. But the pasta e meat are great.
Nicely decorated restaurant, good first impressions with sparkling glasses and pleasant service. First choice of mains, spaghetti with clams not available, so tried the fusilloni with luganega saus…
