Trattoria Santa Giulia Viale Venezia Reviews
Family lunch, excellent quality, traditional dishes, with a good selection. The atmosphere is elegant, clean, and very friendly. Highly recommended!
A family restaurant with amazing food, amazing service. One of the best local restaurants.
Amazing food and service if you don't visit when your in Brescia then you have missed out
A small restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is truly tempting, making it difficult to choose. Meat and seafood dishes, and an excellent selection of truffle dishes, both black and white. I had tagliolini with black truffle, which were a sight to behold, probably the best I've ever had, and a very delicious Valdostana. All served in just the right quantities. The desserts could be improved, both in terms of selection and quantity. The wine list is decent. The price is reasonable for the level of cuisine. Except for the dessert, it was a dinner to remember. We'll definitely be back.
Consigliato!
Lunch was very good. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed it. It would have been at least a 4.5, but unfortunately, there's no way around it. I had robiola and truffle, followed by tagliolini with truffle and mascarpone cream with cat's tongues. I'll definitely be back. Recommended, though not cheap, but good value. Great service, just a little slow, but that can happen.
The menu is appealing, perhaps more winter than summer, with plenty of truffles and tempting dishes, but not all of them are that good. For example, I had the Milanese cutlet, but the meat wasn't good; it seemed runny. Otherwise, even though there were only two tables, the service was a bit slow. I can't comment on the price since I didn't pay.
We greatly appreciated the quality of the dishes, which were carefully prepared and in line with the prices. However, we were disappointed with the service during our lunch. Despite being seated in the center of the room, we felt neglected: bread wasn't served with the dishes, even though the initial one was sold out; we had to ask for water three times. Furthermore, we ordered a dessert without specifying whether it contained alcohol, which was particularly important given that one of us is pregnant. When it was served, we immediately noticed the presence of masala in the dessert, which wasn't declared. When we complained, the staff responded by saying we should have read the menu, even though there was no mention of alcohol. The wait to order coffee after the meal was also very long, with a delay of about 20 minutes. We were surprised and disappointed, especially by the lack of specification regarding alcohol in the dessert, believing it is essential to inform customers, especially in a delicate situation like pregnancy. Despite this, we recognize the quality of the dishes and would be willing to return if the service were more attentive and professional.
Let me start by saying that I also own a restaurant. I dined at your place and found it clean and welcoming. The food was plentiful and good (except for the frozen ones), but the prices were horrendous. The owner (I think) was always angry, and the waiter made a loud scene. The only smile you'll see is at the cash register. I don't know if we'll be back again. Best regards
On the advice of friends, we went to this restaurant at 9:30 PM on Saturday... 15 minutes to park, okay... a bit inconvenient (but that's the least of it). The problem was with the front desk! They said it was fully booked. While the restaurant was empty! Absurdity 🤷🏻♂️🙆🏻♂️ Very likely the people who welcomed us weren't the owners. A girl at the counter asked another young man (perhaps the manager) if there was still room for two people. He said no. A moment of silence... so we "can eat inside too." Answer?? No.. we don't have any more availability for tonight 😅😅😅😅 Are you really doing that?? With 30 free tables? At 9:30 PM on a Saturday? I don't feel like working, sorry. Well...never again.
