An incredible discovery. We went for a midweek lunch, so the restaurant offers a two-course menu of your choice for €40, including water, coffee, and wine. Bread and salami, a restaurant staple, are served before the two courses, along with a welcome appetizer. The quality of the dishes was exceptional, especially the risotto, which was impeccable. Despite being a lunch option, the level of service and presentation was exceptional. Wonderful location, immersed in the greenery of Brianza. I will definitely be back to try the dishes from the à la carte menu!

Dining at this restaurant is a haute cuisine experience. 5 stars are not enough for the quality of the food, service, and attention to detail. The attention to detail is evident upon arrival, when you're greeted at the reception desk. From there, it all grows. It starts with Pierino's sandwich offered at the table, followed by a glass of Malvasia, and from there, the journey of flavor begins. The staff, Chef Theo, and Mr. Penati will accompany you throughout your dinner; you won't be disappointed. You won't leave this restaurant hungry or dissatisfied. Full speed ahead, you're doing an exceptional job.

Given that food is also culture, I believe that, especially in certain restaurants, it's necessary to take the right approach. Maestro Pierino Penati's Michelin-starred restaurant undoubtedly reflects his and Theo's personalities, who is following in his father's footsteps, bringing character, style, and innovation, while still respecting tradition. This restaurant should be approached with great respect and admiration for someone who, along with his contemporaries, invented a sublime and unique way of dining: something only we in Italy can create. So, when you have the pleasure and, I might add, the privilege of visiting this restaurant, don't bring noisy, ill-mannered children who run around the tables (well-behaved children are welcome everywhere); don't go there expecting to make a tavern-style racket, and above all, don't be surprised if, as a first impression, a very elegant waiter brings you a soft sandwich with a slice of local salami. The sandwich is a symbolic gesture by Chef Pierino that has a profound meaning tied to a food that originates from the Brianza tradition. Describing the dishes offered and the food served here is superfluous, as they are, in fact, absolutely extraordinary dishes, prepared with carefully selected and exquisite ingredients, used with great skill, today at Theo. Specifically, I asked for tagliatelle very al dente, even though I knew that homemade pasta has a different consistency than commercially produced pasta and therefore apparently doesn't hold up well when cooked. After finishing the dish, the chef asked me if it was cooked properly, with an approach of great kindness and humility. For dessert, I opted for zabaglione, so skillfully prepared that I took it back to my grandmother's arms when, as a child, she would give it to me (it contains Vermouth). Approaching this restaurant with the right awareness and due respect is a unique and truly priceless experience.
