They serve an excellent breakfast in the morning, and also prepare sandwiches, toast, and salads. The staff is very friendly. The bar is clean and well-organized. There are public restrooms nearby, with water for everyone, and a tap on the wall to help people and dogs avoid getting in and out.
Nice place
Bella location
After a lovely mid-September walk in the park, a break was just what we needed. We settled down at one of the outdoor tables at the kiosk and off we went... fresh croissants, ginseng, freshly squeezed juice, and coffee... we devoured it all and off we went, another 8km awaited us. Good value for money. Enjoy your pit stop everyone!
Nice
The atmosphere was truly Italian, simply cozy! Great prices, and we didn't miss a thing! The tabletop could have been a bit cleaner, even though it was outside...otherwise, everything was top notch!
Lovely outside patio. Good expresso
A cute little spot near one of the park entrances, on the main avenue. Ideal for a quick lunch break or an aperitif while visiting the park. Outdoor tables with umbrellas are available. The staff is friendly. It's a shame there's no private restroom for guests, because the one next door (free to use, managed by the park) is, to say the least, embarrassing.
Ok
For lunch, I stopped for a salad under the trees at the kiosk. The waitresses were very slow to respond, even though there was no one to serve besides me, and it was a weekday and not very crowded. I chose a salad with pears and almonds and a little mustard, surprised that there was nothing else and thinking that the pear would be the main part, adding richness. I received a bowl a third full of unseasoned leaves, nice and wide with three very thin slices of pear and several shelled almonds on the bottom and a drizzle of mustard on top. Infinitely sad, as well as a paltry portion. When it was time to pay at the cashier, I pointed out how poor my salad had been, and the owner who had prepared it, shamelessly lying, said to me: - But how small did it seem to you? I order half a 200g bag for each salad (it must have been half of a 75g bag at most), the single-portion ones from Carrefour Express. And still, 8 euros. Evidently the customers are used to being fooled like this. Price 9.5 with a bottle of water. Dirty bathroom with no soap or paper, and the garden and area messy and full of old stuff to throw away. Reading the reviews unfortunately later, I discovered that it is a long-standing problem and that only park enthusiasts go there, but only because it is in a beautiful place, but the management is a disaster.
Surreal experience. We sat down at 12:30 to eat two toasted sandwiches and a sandwich. We ordered and were told there would be a wait because there was a table of about a dozen people ahead of us. I thought, "Okay, we'll have to wait half an hour... 40 minutes..." So we ordered two toasted sandwiches and a sandwich at 12:30. At 1:50, they asked us if we needed to order. We got up and left. Too bad you can't give a 0. Waiting an hour and a half for two toasted sandwiches and not receiving them is surreal.
Negative experience, never paid for a macchiato with the surcharge. We ordered two coffees 2.60, we asked to stain them with milk, the cost was 3.00, shocking, negative, from every point of view, undrinkable coffee.
The classic establishment where the customer is just a cash machine. The staff is uninterested and rude. The last time, after a nasty argument over the waitress's manners, we got up and left. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!
I usually stop for lunch and can only say good things about the prices and quality. I ventured in for an evening aperitif. A glass of prosecco, a Coke Zero, and a Crodino—TWENTY-FIVE-FIFTY!!! With a handful of peanuts, chips, and 8 olives.
There's a world first in Monza! In this once-delightful place, coffee now costs €1.30 at the counter (and is also served rudely and tastes burnt), but... if you want a splash of milk from the little jug on the counter, there's a surcharge! I've never seen this before in any "normal" bar, meaning the ones you frequent every day. And in some, they'll even give you a shot of water for the same price of €1.20. Kudos to THALE S.N.C. DI POGLIANI THOMAS & FUMAGALLI NADIA, who runs it.
