Aloha Express

We decided to try this place and we are in love!! We got quite a bit of food for take out and it was ready super fast. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. The employees were friendly and welcoming and someone even came out and let our kids pick out a toy. We will definitely be back.

Great find! The restaurant is impeccably clean is a good atmosphere to have lunch. I had their combination platter and everything from the macaroni salad to the chicken and beef bbq was delicious! I wish I lived closer to try it more often! Highly recommended

Super friendly staff that will give recommendations if you have trouble deciding on what to order, clean bathrooms, and amazing food. I recommend the coconut smoothie! Will definitely return.

Takes me back to the north shores of Oahu at a little food truck stop in Haleiwa. So good! Can't pass up the Kalua Pork plate.

What can I say I don't love about this place? The food is great, the atmosphere blows any other restaurant I've been to out of the water, the music is peaceful and relaxing, the menu is very authentic and the staff is respectable and genuine. My favorite place to eat right now and the only place I actually get cravings for, the food is just that good. Definitely worth at least a visit!

I had something wrong with my order and the assistant manager named Alejandra refunded my meal and remade my plate as well as giving me a free smoothie. I will definitely be coming back!

I was skeptical at first because I love to eat Hawaiian BBQ but I've never been here and I was impressed ! I placed an order online for pickup on New Year's Day and they had everything packed and it was hot and especially delicious my my I loved everything I got the 3 meat combo. The only downfall was that I had no spicy mayo nowhere to be found which food was delish just that these plates usually put a spicy mayo unless idk about this but lord it was so good props to the chefs !!

This place is awesome. I didn’t know they had a mini plate of the bbq beef. This yummy will come here again

Tonight was my first time ever trying Aloha Express and it was delicious. I asked for recommendations from the ladies at the counter and was definitely not disappointed. I got the Aloha BBQ mix, katsu chicken and a mango smoothie all of it was delicious. Definitely recommend and will be grabbing some takeout before I leave to go back to Merced on Monday so my boyfriend can try it lol.

Love love love. Service and food are always great. Should get new booth seating, it's slightly old and cracked. However, it's incredibly clean.

Locally owned restaurant with Hawaiian style food. We lived in Hawaii for 5 years and this restaurant definitely made us feel like we were back. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the spam and chicken musubis, seafood/chicken plate, and mixed meat (kalbi, pork, chicken) plate.

Exellent Korean beef barbecue plate. Very tasty. The side in the combo well prepared and fresh. Tiny bit chewy on the beef barbecue. Will come back. Rice crispy chocolate was a compliment during Easter season :)

Only one complaint the straw on my pineapple got soggy fast. But I grabbed a plastic one.

I've had this delivered twice now, and both times, it's amazing!! Really good food, you get alot of meat and its always cooked perfectly!! The flavors are great, and I highly recommend the kalbi ribs, they are great!! Something about them and the white rice, just feels right!! If your looking for the same flavor, but no bones the BBQ beef hits the spot!! Don't be fooled, the "mini" meals are not small, they easily feed a grown adult! We always add a Boba tea, just to mix things up alittle.. great place.. I will definitely be going back!!

The food was so good I only thought to take pictures after I was half way through.

Looking for a good food spot that was not a chain restaurant etc. Stumbled upon this place and it didn't disappoint. I had the Aloha plate it was really good. What's even better is Auntie K! We had a great little conversation and she was so nice and gracious towards me. Definitely saved this for a visit next time I'm in town.

Large portions. Pretty clean inside but some tables hadn't been wiped down between customers. Staff was very busy preparing to go orders and making drinks so it did take a while to receive my order. Food was well seasoned and cooked well. BBQ chicken had good flavor and macaroni salad was creamy. Steamed white rice was perfect. Music was a little loud but truly fits the island vibe and theme. Passion fruit and lemon tea was excellent. I would definitely recommend for a family gathering

We got two number 1 plates which is the mixed BBQ and then a number 6 for my son, since he loves chicken nuggets and they were close enough. They do not offer childrens plates or menu so he basically had an entire plate left over. We also ordered one of their shaved ices and WOW was it amazing it was 5$ and tasted amazing I can not even explain just how yummy it was. I really wanted a boba drink but they were sold out. The place was extremely busy, as soon as someone moved from a table it filled back up. I am rating only 4 stars because the floors under the tables were really gross BUT since they are constantly busy I guess it would be hard to clean. Also we asked if we could shaved ice near the end of our meal so we could eat then have it as dessert, and when my husband went to ask for it they FORGOT about us and we had to re-ask for them to make it and by then my son was in full tantrum mode because he didn't know why we were not leaving. If they hadn't forgotten us it would have arrived as he finished eating and it could have avoided putting me in a sourish mood. I would 100% go back again because I want to try their ramen and definitely get more shaved ice! Maybe I wouldn't take my toddler though because he's not really interested in anything off the menu.

I've been coming here about once a month since they opened. I always got 2 full cups of katsu sauce with my katsu chicken. Today I came in and was given a barely half full cup of sauce and was charged 25 cents for a 2nd kaif full cup. This is just stupid and shows how little they value my business. I love their food, but I think Ono Hawaiian will now get my business.

The food portion is more than enough, the shower curtains are a little extreme as everyone knows covid is B.S. they had no Siracha sauce or Shoyu for Mac salad witch is a must. The chicken was good

I been here many times, so I'm assuming you guys have new cooks, cool teach them to cook the chicken correct.

But what is really upsetting is being charged $10+ for a pineapple smoothie that is advertised as coming in an ACTUAL pineapple not a small plastic cup. Do better and notify your customers beforehand if there’s no pineapples available.

I went to the Visalia location, order my order and came home after a 30 minute drive and my Order was wrong and I called back and talked directly with the girl who took my order who confirms with me on the phone and she said took the order and she just have me come in to pick up what I had ordered, then placed me on hold to have a manager (I assume) and she just kept saying that their policy is to repeat back the order and only offered me a 30% discount to go another 30 minutes and pay for the food I had already order - so i could spend more with their restaurant after having the cashier already confirm in fact I had placed the initial order. I will never go back or recommend because all they care about is to continue to get you to spend more money. No customer service or responsibility to make right the mess up on their part. You DO NOT MATTER to the company. Even after the employee told me she had and remembers her mistake.
