Brewbakers Brewing Company Visalia Reviews
I’ve been enjoying Brewbaker’s since I was a kid, and it’s my favorite spot. With the broad menu, there’s something for everyone to enjoy here. And I love all their creative specials. PS: you gotta try a dessert here if you like sweets.
Brewbakers is in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Visalia. Theres so much food to choose from and you cant go wrong with your choices. Im a big fan of the rueben sandwich!
Had this for the first time today and it was immediately added to my top 10 restaurants. I got the pretzel w/ jalapeno cheese appetizer and daily special candy burger for my main. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and danced on my taste buds. To wash it all down, I did the craft sodas. Today they had banana, orange cream, and root beer, all 3 were delicious. The service was amazing and fast too! I can't wait to come back!
Brewbakers is one of our favorite restaurants in Visalia! Conveniently located on Main Street in the heart of town. Delicious food and friendly service. Lauren was our server and she went above and beyond to offer us a wonderful dining experience. They offer a wide variety of food choices from appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads to full dinner entrees. I had the blackened salmon over fettuccine Alfredo. It was the best I have ever had! Very reasonably priced and warm, cozy atmosphere. They brew their own beer and it's my husband's favorite! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
I would rate this place a 10/10. As soon as I walked inside I was greeted and seated right away with no wait. Our waitress was really sweet and would constantly check in on us. I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich with a side of a Cesar salad. The portions were big in my opinion especially considering the price was not so expensive. My boyfriend ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries from here are the best I’ve ever had they were perfection. We also ordered the Diablo pizza it was good but on the spicy side for sure. I would most definitely be coming back.
Patio is for service animals but they have one small table outnfront that was pet friendly and we were able to sit with our doggo. Kelly provided great service and the the food was fantastic and filling. Had the IPA which went great with my club sammich.
Came out to Visalia for a baseball game, with no real plan on what to do. Was recommended this place from a nice lady at an antique shop. Glad i listened to her. This place was awesome. The bartender was super cool. She recommended a couple really good beers, my favorite was the jalapeno 1. Met some nice regulars that chatted with me for a while. Definitely will be back here again, and would recommended it highly.
What a find! Extensive menu selections and great beer! Several vegetarian as well as vegan menu options are available. The upstairs area has booths as well as outdoor patio dining. The wait staff are outstanding! Friendly, professional and helpful. Sandwiches are filling and delicious! They do take credit cards. Free parking is on the street out front. This will be our "go to" place here!
What a nice place! Very good service, beer is good, I liked the Lager and Honey Wheat, not so much the Sequoia Red, which is an amber ale. But that is just me. Plates were very well served and sized, I had the Brewbaker's salad which was easily for two. The other dishes we ordered looked good and we ended up taking hime enough for dinner. No one complained about the food except a small mistake and my wife's hamburger was not well done as she ordered it. This was quickly taken care of and was good according to her. Highly recommend place in Visalia downtown.
We came here while visiting in Exeter nearby and definitely enjoyed it. The food was excellent and our waitress was great! She gave recommendations that were spot on and was super sweet. The on tap beers were delicious, in line with the pretzel w/cheese and burgers. We didn't LOVE the beer brownie but that didn't stop us from eating it all! Would easily recommend this place to others.
We were camping in Sequoia National Park and asked a park ranger about a burger place he would recommend on our way down the mountain. He recommended Brewbakers, not only for the burgers but also for their beers. We were not disappointed. The server woman was so helpful, and their beer flights with 9 beer samplers and 3 handcrafted soda samplers were only $15 dollars! Super affordable. Lastly, the burgers were amazing. Best I've had in recent memory. Stop here after an inspiring but tiring hike, and you will feel complete. P.S. ask for garlic wedges (not on menu)!
Pleasant surprise from other breweries. I had personally grown tired of the food from OTHER breweries in the area. Their food dropped in value and quality when they used to be great. However, I’m very happy that I stumbled into Brewbakers today. I had a small fish and chips with a substation of garlic potato wedges. I paired this with the Sequoia Red and it was pretty damn good. Not only is it good value (less than $20 for the meal+beer), it was very good. Wouldn’t be surprised if somebody told me that all the food is made in house. Staff was very timely and friendly, which I love from these local places because it makes it easier to support them. I personally did not try the pizza burger, but a friend in our party loved it. The popcorn chicken was good and was a decent sized piece of chicken. Everything was cooked extremely well and I will definitely be coming back soon.
I really wanted to love the meal at BrewBakers this past Friday, but unfortunately, the kitchen missed the mark on a classic. I ordered the French Dip, which should be a slam dunk for a pub-style spot, but it lacked the basic execution that makes that sandwich great. The Main Event: French Dip • The Bread: This was the biggest disappointment. It wasn't toasted, grilled, or even brushed with a little butter. It felt like an afterthought, leaving the texture of the sandwich completely uninspired. • The Meat: The tri-tip was sliced thin and seemed okay, though it had that "pre-cooked this morning" vibe rather than being fresh off the block. • The Au Jus: A French Dip lives and dies by the dip. Unfortunately, this was essentially bland beef broth—watery and lacking any deep, salty, or beefy complexity. The Silver Lining The meal wasn't a total wash, thanks to the sides. The fries arrived piping hot, crispy, and seasoned well. Paired with a side of their ranch, they were easily the best part of the plate. Final Verdict: If you're going for the atmosphere and a cold beer, it’s a win. But if you’re craving a high-quality sandwich, you might want to look elsewhere until they step up their bread game.
I was looking to try a brew pub while in town for business and stumbled upon Brewbakers. It was moderately busy, but I was able to get a table without any wait as a single diner. They had a chalkboard above the bar with their current taps, and I decided to take part in their Oktoberfest. Within a reasonable amount of time a waitress took my food order and I decided to have a Reuben. When the beer arrived, I noticed on the first sip that a sour note was present in the flavor profile. Otherwise, the beer was a classic Oktoberfest with a nice malt note. That sour note reminded me of lactic acid contamination a lot of micro breweries experience if their equipment is not properly cleaned. Unfortunately it took almost 45 minutes for my Reuben sandwich to arrive, which left me plenty of time to try another one of their beers. I tried their Euro Lager. Immediately on the first sip, the sour lactic acid note slapped me in the tongue. This solidified my suspicion that their equipment has not been properly cleaned. The Reuben sandwich was nicely prepared and very flavorful. The side salad that came with it was unfortunately very small, and my request for balsamic dressing instead came with just balsamic vinegar and no oil. I found the lager to be inedible. Unfortunately, the waitress never asked how my meal was going and only came to present the bill. I paid, left the full pint of beer on the table, and headed out the door. I don’t think I could suggest this as a place to get a beer, but the food isn’t bad.
