The Karaoke dive bar lives up to its reputation. Fun place to go sing and have a good time. No food and bartender could smile more but overall a fun experience - good place to play a game of pool also.

This place is a straight up dive bar. You know the kind where everything is worn, every bar stool have ripped leather and duck tap and wobbly legs, etc. They have beer and cocktails but just the basics, nothing crafty AT ALL. Rum and Coke, no problem. Old fashion, probably. Mojito? Mmmmaybe. I have no idea whether or not this place has food. We did a shit and a beer on the way in and were pretty drunk within about 15 minutes. Pool tables are spilled on, worm felt, not flat, crooked sticks. Bathrooms were DIS. CUS. TING. The Bartender was fine but not particularly interested in engaging with any small talk at all. She was much more interested in the goings on and conversations of the many locals that hang out there. I'm not saying this is terrible. Sometimes it's just what you want. It's just good to set your level of expectation appropriately. There are definitely "Dive Bars" out there that are just as "divey" without also being kind of trashy and unkept as well. My wife and and I went there for my birthday and got absolutely hammered at the bar. Had a good time but would definitely not go back.
