Amazing experience, quality food, kind and welcoming staff.
Excellent food, fast and friendly service, charming and welcoming atmosphere. Traditional Piedmontese dishes.
EXCELLENT!!! EXCELLENT STAFF KINDNESS, FRESH, AUTHENTIC FOOD For those who can't understand and evaluate flavors, just stop at the Autogrill. Congratulations to all the staff!!!
Kind people, attentive to every need, I dined out, excellent pizza cooked well, as a first time I had a great time, excellent for spending a couple of hours in absolute tranquility and surrounded by nature... I will return the next time I come to the valleys......
Today we had lunch at this lovely restaurant. We ate refined dishes. The appetizers were bursting with flavor, the first course was delicious, and the second course was a delicious and delicate roast. The desserts were truly delicious. Highly recommended, and in the evening they also make pizza, which we've yet to try. The parking lot is 150 meters from the restaurant, whether you're coming from Turin or Viù.
Friendly staff, clean, set menu for lunch on weekdays. During these hours, there's little choice, but the food is good. Be careful if you order more than the set menu, as the price goes up. The tiramisu, however, is very good.
Excellent pizza, tasty and beautifully presented dishes. Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We ate outside on a perfect evening. We had a great time!
We had farinata, focaccia, and pizza. Everything was delicious. We also had red and white wine and bitters to finish. Excellent service with friendly and always helpful staff. We'll be back.
Trattoria located in a small hamlet just steps from Viu'. Under new management, the staff are friendly and eager to please. They offer a typical Piedmontese menu with four appetizers, two first courses, and a main course. I found fresh, artisanal pasta, agnolotti stuffed with peppers and anchovies, and topped with bagna cauda. I loved it, so much so that I asked for more. There's now a convenient parking lot just outside the restaurant, as the roads in the mountains aren't very long and you have to make do. I'll definitely be back for lunch.
Good food, portions a little small, food quality excellent
We'd heard a lot about this restaurant, which had been closed for a long time, and now that it's reopened under new management, we decided to give it a try. The food is good, even though the menu is still limited. The portions are generous, and the owner is very friendly. I think after a bit of a run-in, it will become a very interesting place worth trying.
Unfortunately, I'm only giving one star because the pizza with bagna cauda wasn't good. We wanted risotto, but at 7:10 PM the kitchen was only open for pizzas. Also, those two guys in the dining room leaning against the counter staring at us the entire time were very creepy and embarrassing; eating while being watched isn't pleasant. The waiter was kind, but that's not enough. I'm sorry, I won't be going there again.
We had good appetizers and first courses (mushroom risotto and gnocchi alla bava). The second course was roast pork with a lemon sauce, I think, served cold. The baked potatoes were inedible (boiled potatoes cut into cubes and baked), terrible. The icing on the cake was that they don't do separate billing, which is hilarious (they can't give change if you pay by debit card). And be careful with your receipt, because they make mistakes.
They've just opened under new management. We didn't have a great experience, which is a shame, but there are some things that should never be missing in any restaurant, at any level. From the staff, to the kitchen, to the preparation of the dining room and its management. I'll finish by listing all the negatives, except that when they serve you roast beef with potatoes, you expect a different cut of meat than capocollo with roast gravy on top... the basics, in short. We paid €25: a mixed appetizer on a single plate, a sample of two first courses, a second course, still and sparkling water included, and a separate dessert for €5 (the only redeeming feature).
We went for lunch on December 28th, a group of eight. The restaurant was small and welcoming, and we had to make a reservation. What can I say? I expected to enjoy authentic Piedmontese food and the friendliness of the staff, but instead we were treated to a series of courses that were tasteless, bland, and precooked. I especially pointed out to the lady serving the table that the starters were bland and overcooked, but she pretended not to understand our complaint until we finished dessert, which I won't even comment on. The worst place ever. I could have excused a few dishes since there were quite a few people there, but that day there were only a few seats, so there was no excuse. The dishes were prepared and served without love or passion. I strongly recommend staying away.
