This is one of the biggest and cleanest Popeyes I have been in. Nice friendly staff prompt at taking orders and on point with getting you fresh food (fries) is a big plus. This is the Popeyes to go to for sure when in the Waco area skip the one off 35 north. PS the ghost pepper wings are great!
Britney was awesome! She gave awesome recommendations when I told her what my household was looking for. Her upsells are strategic and I said yes to everything she sold me. Her kind laughter at my ignorance to the menu was so welcoming. If Britney is there I will definitely be back! My family said they wouldn’t come back to this location bc of how rude the employees have treated them in the past. Britney is a game changer that will keep getting the establishment business at least from my house hold. Way to turn the reputation around girl! If I could give 100 stars I would!
Okay so service was OUTSTANDING!!!!! 😲 😱 OMG everyone was so friendly today. Very polite every worker asked if we were fine, as we ate. Asked if they could get us anything else. We have been before and NEVER has service been like this. Spoke to my children aswell. Like I always say good service makes the food taster better. THANK YOU to the crew of Wednesday evening! We love the family meal. Great place to relax, enjoy our favorite food, then head out to finish our shopping. Wonderfully nice people work here!
After the experience at the temple location, I prejudged this restaurant. But when I walked in everybody was welcoming, they had a smile on their face, they were very nice, and they were a complete 180 from what I had experienced just the night before. No I did not eat in the restaurant I was doing Uber, but just the difference in the atmosphere and the people would actually make me come to Popeyes again or at least to this location. Thank you to all the staff that was working that evening.

The cashier is a great guy... Not sure what his name is/was but I was a little short on money and he helped me out more than he even knows. God bless you sir, I'll be back for sure! The place is really clean also. UPDATE: The cashiers name is Charles.. I've been back and there is nothing more to say her she all the other employees are awesome and the food is spectacular.. try the biscuits 😉
I ordered a tenders meal with red beans and rice, and mac and cheese on the drive-through window. The tenders were hot and juicy. The red beans and rice, and the mac and cheese were delicious and hot. Best mac and cheese ever! I love Popeyes and my meal was excellent! The staff was friendly. They did a fast and excellent job with my order. I will be coming back soon!
Ok so this is the best service I’ve had here EVER. I usually don’t like coming to this location because of the service but HOLY COW!!!! Ladareon C. (Hope I spelled it right) was so kind and was working his butt off tonight. He made me laugh, was kind, and ensure our food was perfect. He truly made my night. Thank you Ladareon!!!!! Will be back thanks to him.
It's been a while since I visited this location, but I'm so glad I came back! The chicken was hot, fresh, and juicy. The mashed potatoes and gravy are always on point, and I tried the mac and cheese for the first time today and I was blown away. Seriously some of the best mac and cheese you will get anywhere! This was seriously the best Popeyes chicken I've had in a long time. The staff was friendly and were the ones that recommended that I try the mac and cheese. They are understaffed, but it's not the employees fault. They did an excellent job and got my order together in a perfectly reasonable amount of time. I don't mind waiting a few minutes for fresh chicken. I will definitely be coming back soon!
Arrived at a little after 7pm on a Sunday night. Restaurant was very clean and cashier was pleasant. Cashier had trouble hearing ND getting order correct had to go through multiple times. Food came out quick. Chicken tasted great was hot and fresh. Cajun fries tasted like they had been made at noon that day. My son really liked the Mac and cheese.
The chicken was awesome but the mac n cheese was bad this time. Usually really great but this time we got some old stuff. It made my wife sick. The people are great. I wrote it off as just a mistake, no real harm done. But they do need to pay more attention to the dates on the food.
Food was not fresh, customer service is not good. There was no wait in line. Restroom are dirty.
The place had very few people, the few that were there were standing by the counter to try and order. It took nearly 15 minutes to even get a chance to order. The cashier took my order, didn't hear my entire order and forgot my fries (forgot to even charge me for them or include them). The chicken was warm as if it was waiting hours under a heat lamp and the red beans and rice were dry. I ordered the 5pc combo meal. I went up to re-buy (buy the fries I ordered) it took an additional 10 minutes to get to the front of the line of people waiting to order. Once I got to sit down to eat, the tables were sticky and unclean. I had to go ask for napkins at the front, another few minutes, to clean the table (Most of the tables were sticky with soda spillage) to sit down. The food was okay, not great, but just okay. This isn't a place I'd come back to.
Ok normally this store is where I go to get fried chicken. Last night I stood at the register for 20 minutes before my order was taken. The poor clerk had 3 days of on the job training and they were busy. Manager did not lift a finger accept move chicken from one tray to another and yell orders of what she needed all the while the poor clerk was trying to keep up. The store was put of ghost pepper wings, different sizes of cups to put food in or boxes. Manager spent alot of time talking with this new clerk about managers new hair do and she does hair and can do hers also. It is the managers job to ensure that store is stocked and that was not the case. Also too jump in and help when needed. None of this was done.
I get it was lunch time and they get busy. However, I had several items missing and I ordered ahead. My order got handed to me like I was an inconvenience and my bag was leaking because the lid to the mashed potatoes wasn't on all the way. It seemed very unorganized and chaotic in this establishment. Next time I'll go downtown.
Unfortunately, neither cleaned nor organized place to go. Costumer service is terrible, cashier is doing everything (drive thru and kitchen).the worst thing are the Restrooms were nasty and they didn't even have soap, furthermore, sinks had black spots (meaning that they never clean)
A friend and I went through the drive-thru it was about 8:30 at night and I had asked for some extra brown gravy. The lady at the window responded with, "she already put everything away". She said that they were getting ready for closing. So I then asked, "what time do y'all close??" She then stated that they close at 10pm. If I remember correctly she also informed us they were out of several sides like mac and cheese is one that I remember specifically. I'm somebody who's worked in the restaurant industry since I was 15 years old all the way up until you my mid thirties, and that service that we got was absolutely terrible. And kind of appalling.... like if I was the owner of that restaurant, I would be upset that they were not selling my food, my product! That is money that the business or establishment is ultimately losing out on. Not to mention the fact that, well if you're like me I'm not going to go back there especially not to that location. I'm just going to call it like I see it and say that those employees were lazy and, you know, not doing their job. Having said all of that, the food we did receive was quit delicious a s pretty fresh.
For the young woman who took my order and said things under her breath because she got tired of hearing me talk. When I asked if it was spicy chicken you said yes with confidence. Well ima say NO it was INDEED NOT-spicy with confidence. Yall are already going slow what was another 2 minutes to make sure it was right. Damn you not getting any faster. Just make sure your customer getting what they asked for. And if you get annoyed at customers ordering Go find a job you don’t hear people blabbering in your ear all day. Or take a nap do something. I know what it’s like to work in the drive thru but damn how hard was it to turn around to the packer and say “hey did you make that spicy” not that hard. Do better Popeyes
This was the poorest, ran fast food restaurant I've ever seen in my entire life. The people were fairly nice, but it is a joke and there were customers walking out of there, saying it was the worst bleepiny bleak chicken that they've ever eaten in their entire life. Guys, that place needs to be cleaned up. Even the parking lot looks disgusting. It's just poorly ran. That's all I can say.
Restaurant was clean, but something was going on with the staffing. An employee on the phone outside was clearly upset with a decision sent down from above. After waiting several minutes at the counter with my toddler, who was the impetus for the trip (he wanted chicken and a biscuit) an employee politely informed me that they were drive through only. Mind you, this was at about 12 or 12:30 pm. I felt badly for the worker manning the overrun drive thru, but had to get lunch elsewhere to get my little guy fed.
This place is a joke!!!!! I spent $78.00 on a drive thru order only to get home and find both of my large mashed potatoes half empty. Also, I tried to order fries and they were “out”. I tried to order Mac and cheese and they were out!!! Then I tried to order red beans and rice and they were ice cold. Also, we ordered a 16 piece tender and we only got 10 tenders. Never go here!!!!
Service was horrible at this location. The young man was very helpful, however, the young lady at the window seemed like she was mad about something and you could tell by here service delivery.
This place needs to be shut down. I placed a online order. Got there and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my order. All the while listening to staff yell at each other and treat guests like crap because they were complaining their order was wrong. They were out of some menu items I had ordered and when I got home I realized I only received 8 pieces of chicken on a 16 piece order. Do not go to this location!!

This store is the worst in Waco avoid at all possible go to the new location off 11th street or in Bellmead. It closes during normal buisness hours never has product unprofessional and just not clean or up to date maybe an update more training supervision something needed here. Tryed eating here horrible and even door dashing it is closed or doesn’t have product even waiting on a order they didn’t have a customer was griping about the food that it was so rock hard thier wings and the response from the employee was it wings it’s supposed to be like that. The franchise needs to step in close this location or seriously improve it.
Went into restaurant to order to go. 2 groups ahead of us in line and 2 people awaiting orders already placed. Staff was very unprofessional, hollering at each other across the building as to who's job was what and why that wasn't their job, punctuated by slamming equipment loudly onto the counters and spilling product in the process. In the 10 minutes that i stood there, no orders were filled and i was never waited on. Will not be going back!
Update 3-1-23: I tried to give Popeyes another chance to get my order right as I have food ALLERGIES! I ordered a Plain Classic Chicken sandwich WITHOUT SPICY SAUCE in drive thru. I got back to work and my sandwich had SPICY SAUCE on it AGAIN! 😝😠 I told lady in drive thru window about my last order received wrong with SPICY SAUCE on the Flounder sandwich that made me sick on previous visit. She took my business card for a future sandwich/credit. 😠 I AGAIN called store & the phone is never answered! 😡 THIS store is terrible now CONSTANTLY BAD/WRONG orders. STAY AWAY! Don't waste your time or $ to end up sick every time!!😠 My only receipts received are shown in picture proof! ! Update 2-22-23: I ordered 1 New Flounder Classic sandwich NON-SPICY with tartar sauce (as pictured in media & their menu sign) in drive thru and received it with SPICY ORANGE SAUCE that made me sick on 1 bite. I tried calling the restaurant but had no answer! I ordered the shrimp tackle box w beans & rice side. The shrimp were ok size but the breading was a little too heavy for my taste & they were a little over cooked but edible to eat on the go. Beans and rice were delicious but equalled about 1/4 cup only as small cup was only 1/2 full. About what to expect from fast food to go. Staff were friendly, fast, & efficient!
Not any fault to the employees but they had 2 people working for that place. We were not told of this and asked to pull around and they will bring our food out. We waited over 30 minutes then went inside to see what the hold up was and found out they were under staff. Took our food and left while eating the fries were stale and cold I got chicken tenders and it took one bite and they all ended up in the trash they were very undercooked. Time to get new management, better pay or something to get staff in there to make customers experience better. I feel for the employees working right now they never complained just worked the best they could with the situation they had.
Why do businesses have hours of operation if they're not going to follow them. I tried to come give Popeyes some money but they had closed early for some reason not stated.

The workers are 9 times out of 10 rude, slow, and act as though it’s an inconvenience that you’re there. I’m an UberEats delivery driver, and dread every time I have to go here…thinking about just declining every order from here, the service is so bad. Today one girl in particular had such an attitude: couldn’t hear her mumbling when she asked me what name was on the order, so I asked her to repeat what she said - and she slammed her hand on the counter, rolled her eyes, and gave me such a sour attitude. I blame management for the poor training. Popeyes is hiring, ideal candidates are jerks with zero social skills or customer service knowledge! Apply today!
Pulled up to the drive-through and the person told me to come inside without explanation or apology. I went inside and no one greeted me. The guy had receipts all over the place and said nothing to me. The woman behind the counter was not in a hurry to wait on anyone and yelled at her co-workers. I didn’t leave because my mother in the nursing home requested Popeyes's chicken sandwich. Continued to tell people to come in while I waited. Wait time was 15 minutes. Really unbelievable that a restaurant is operated this way. Obviously management doesn’t care. This location will not last. Appalling.
Placed an order in the app 15 minutes before arriving. Arrived and they told us it would be at least another 30 minutes. We were then told that there is no sides available at this time. They could not cancel our order. They said it must be cancelled in the app but the app did not offer a way to cancel the order. So we didn't get any food and now we are not sure if we will get our $50 back. This was an extremely inconvenient and horrible experience. Stay away from this place!!!
Waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to the order box. It took the young woman FOREVER to understand my order (two 9.99 "two can dine", 2 large lemonades). Took a long time to finally get our order and it was incomplete. We were given just one $9.99 deal. I spent another 5 minutes trying to to get the young woman at the window to understand. She just didn't seem able to process the information of 2 instead of 1. It took another 25 or 20 minutes, but finally we were able to escape. Some cute added touches...the mashed potato cup lids were DRINK CUP LIDS, taped on to the potato cups, which allowed all the gravy to leak out over everything. So efficient!! The mashed potatoes were full of rubbery bacon bits. However, the chicken was the best I've had in Waco for a long, long time. But not good enough to have to deal with all the other stuff
I guess there's good reason the parking lot was empty but it takes each car at least 10 min to get through. Longer for me. I had two kids meal coupons and wanted to order tenders. At the speaker I didn't get to finish my order because the person speaking to me at the speaker heard kids meal coupons and immediately told me to pull up to the window. I wait at least 3 minutes before an employee asked for the Coupons and then asked what meals I wanted for the coupons. Not being able to look at the menu I had to ask question after question just to get the kids meal. Then she didn't even ask if that was all. She closed the window on me. I held up my hand to get her attention again and told her I wasn't done. Then she took my tender order with ample attitude. She didn't bother taking my money until I had the food and she realized the pay screen was still up..very poorly ran for such good food. Such h a Shame.
Absolutely disgusting. My husband got the wrong order and his chicken was old and had 0 flavor it was nasty, I bit into my chicken and it was raw, waited 35 minutes in line for RAW nasty chicken. Do not recommend.
I am currently sitting in front of the store waiting on my food as I type this. I've been waiting so far over 12 minutes just up front. 3 people inside is all. I was waiting over 10 minutes in drive through. Repeating the same answer to questions that were being asked to me. I waited another 6 minutes before just pulling up. And then they still didn't even know what I had asked for. And the girl in the GME hoodie stayed on her phone before even greeting at the window. And of course as I reorder for the 4th time they are out of the two things I wanted. Warning to stay away. Never again. Damn near 30 minutes for "fast food"

I don't know why I even tried. A co worker and I were getting lunch and someone gave there introduction in drive thru then said nothing. After sitting there a few minutes we went inside. One of the cooks kept telling us that someone would help and we never got any help. A girl with braids came looked at an order and walked off didn't even greet us. A second girl came with the headset on grabbed a container and walked off she didn't give a hello or anything. People that don't work should not be getting paid this was an awful experience that has been going on too long. Just shut it down already
We were very disappointed with this restaurant. It was dirty and it felt dirty. The dining area tables weren’t clean. The floor had trash on it. The men’s restroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. None. Of the employees were wearing gloves nor hairnets. The lady that took our order was at the cash register, I paid with cash. She then walked over and filled our order without wearing gloves nor hairnet. Nite that the employees were all very nice and courteous. We walked out and didn’t finish our food. Do not eat here.
Unacceptable service! Rude lady in front. We actually started in the drive through Line she kept saying one moment hold on and there was no one else there. Then we come inside the place is empty. I was the only car in the drive thru. After a few min the lady asked me to pull to the window. When I got to the window I asked about a family meal and she said “if you got a coupon” And then said “but it’s gone be a long wait on chicken” I said “it sound like you don’t want me to get any chicken” lol I was the only car in the drive thru and yall are a chicken restaurant. I know yall not plucking the chicken in the back lol I just went up the street and got a 10 piece for $19.99 from church’s. And shout out to the guy at the church’s window. He was so polite
Every time we go to this particular popeye's, they forget something in our order and we usually get the family meal. We pay good money to have our favorite items left out. The chicken was over either overcooked, or it was old. We used to love popeyes, but we're losing faith.
I just went to this location on 11/27/24 and I am wondering how this place is open. All the females are on their cellphones, sitting down in the lobby area all together. The lady who took our order got up from eating licked her fingers then took our order. Did not wash her hands then went back to eat her food. The other females are outside smoking a black and mild while talking on the cellphone coming in and out of restaurant. Lots of attitude and not professional. They didn’t have any chicken sandwiches or macaroni. Only drinks available were sprite and coke. They also said you have to pay inside if you are using a card.

This was either the worst, or equal to the worst, experience I've ever had at a Popeye's or any other fast-food establishment. The manager was rude to staff and customers. The location's supplies (plasticware, napkins, cup lids, etc. were understocked or nonexistent. The restroom featured no paper towels and an untagged out of service hand dryer. The staff struggled to interpret or fill orders for no more than six dine-in patrons. Bad management leads to bad service.
I never go to Popeyes & today I remembered why. I made a mobile order & went to pick it up in the drive thru. The lady (Alethea) that answered said they didn’t have anyone working the drive thru so I’d have to come inside. No big deal. I came inside to find 12 workers sporting their “love that chicken” shirts. Apparently not one could man the window. Next they proceeded to tell everyone who ordered chicken sandwiches that they were out, and they’d have to refund or substitute for tenders. The manager (trashy lady bossing everyone around) claimed they couldn’t refund my mobile order so I was SOL. This entire interaction she never once turned to face me. She kept her back to me (she wasn’t completing orders or anything mind you). Very unprofessional. Quite comical how lazy this manager was as the rest of her team just did their best to make all customers satisfied. Cherry on top is when she made the young lady completing my order take my meal out of the box & instead shove everything in a paper bag. Avoid this place at all costs.
Every time I ordered from this location on Uber Eats there's always some excuse why my order can't be made either they ran out of chicken or somebody else who wasn't an Uber driver picked up the order and they can't remake it because their restaurant is already closed. Sounds like they make Up things so they don't have to cook. It's common is this type of atmosphere
This place needs a whole new overhaul from management to staff and food. I was door dashing a couple of days ago and both times I went in there same rude attitude. I was waiting for 20 minutes and my order was sitting right there but the front guy said "there were people here before you" which was not true. I wonder if the food I delivered was cold. Everyone in there was slow without a care in the world. I am talking about the Waco location on valley mills. Shut it down or change it up. It's a sad sad place.
Worst location i have ever been to .. young kid at the counter is worth more then 5 stars he is great and definitely deserves more then that job and needs to know he is better then that place! Woman cook.. rude and lazy and definitely not worth the pay she gets !

I went today about 1 asked for fresh wings. They had me pull forward like they were .making them fresh when actually I was sitting for nothing because they weren't fresh. I know fresh when I ear it.
Website said they were open til 11, got there at 10ish they had the drive through shut down. Had a lobby full of people when I went to park and go in one your your employees ran up and locked the door in my face. This place needs to be shut down.
Popeyes on North Valley Mills is the worst establishment in the franchise. I went yesterday 6/15 they had a chair in the drive-through. So I went in, and the gentleman said he only had a few pieces of chicken, and that was it. So I left. I decided I'd give it another try today 6/16 I was sitting in the drive-through for five minutes. After that, I kept saying hello, and no one came on to take my order. So again, I just left. It is sad that this place has gone downhill. I am shocked that this place is still in business. If I seriously could give fewer stars, I would. It is a shame because I do love Popeyes.
Was told at 5:15 pm that my order couldn’t be taken in the drive through or inside building due to shift change? While refusing to serve us plenty of other customers were walking out with food and getting there orders taken inside the building. Haven’t had Popeyes in years and definitely won’t ever try to get it again through this location. Just trash. If you can’t serve people through drive through, signs should be put in place instead of having tons of cars just waiting in line for 20 minutes just to be told we can’t be served when finally going inside to receive serves. Decided even if I waited till after shift change the food would most likely still be trash after looking at all their negative reviews online.
This place was horrible in customer service. Not only was the manager Michelle un-professional yesterday when i order my meal. But very disrespectful. I came in with my 11yr daughter & she was not only arguing w/her co-workers but yelling at her employees. The chicken was great but my biscuits were hard as a rock. The reason I give the restaurant a 1 star is because they need new management.
This place is so slow. I waited almost 20+ minutes for food. I could literally go to canes and get food in less than 10 minutes. Atrocious. Staff was also unprofessional. Fix your management!!!!!
This place is a literal joke we ordered food for pick up at around 8 for drive through we finally get it at 9:30 after we had to go in to get it and they told us they are completely out of food. How when the place doesn’t close till 11. Not only that but it smells like weed and smoke and half the employees are on their phones! We got two wings mixed in what they call tenders (read as nuggets) and red beans and rice that are less then half why full and mostly rice. Honestly can not see how this place is still in business with how bad their service, attitudes, and food is. They need new management and staff. 0/10 would not recommend this place to anyone.
The reviews are right! Terrible service. Went through drive through first only to be told "youre doing too much, can you come in" every single person at drive thru was told to come inside. Once inside girl with headset talking constantly about how shes not dealing with these rude customers and all this other stuff. When ordering she said "you want it or not?" Very rude. They took over 30 minutes to give us our food, theyd rather complain about having to drop more biscuits. Also the portions were terrible! She not only didnt want to give us all the sides we ordered, what we did get was barely filled. Dont go to this location!
Bought two ten piece chicken half mild and half spicy. Mild was all good but not for spicy. I should have read the comments first before I ordered. Numerous people complain on the spicy chicken as hard as rock. It's simply uneatable. Could be left overs from last night lol. Very unpleasant experience.
They didn’t have anything!!!!I had a coupon for a 10 piece and fries. We only got 4 biscuits and leftover chicken they had. They didn’t have tenders, fries, Mac and cheese, or rice. They only had mashed potatoes…. They said they haven’t had a truck in weeks which is crazy. They only had chicken breast… who likes chicken breast Ik i don’t. I’m not a happy camper.
Drive through is closed, shrimp was so over cooked it was like a rock, I threw it away. Frankly, I wasn’t sure they didn’t overcook it last night and keep it. I ate the fries and left. The biscuit also tasted funny and the bathrooms don’t appear to have been mopped in some time. There was black stuff on the soda lids and the push for the ice machine is broken. The manager working the register was nice enough though.
I use to like Popeyes, never again. The supposedly best chicken sandwich was a small rubbery chunk of I think chicken couldn't hardly bite into it, the fries were cold and stale also a very small portion. The sandwich at golden chicken is superior to this poor excuse. Free food for a year wouldn't bring me back it it was that nasty
Visited this location on Thursday around 11:15. Place was dead inside as well as the drive through. The cashier barely made sense when she spoke. Seems like she didn’t understand anything. When out for arrived, the Red Beans and Rice was cold. The chicken was barely warm. Fries nasty. Plus there was no ice. This really disappointed me, because Popeye’s usually is great.
There were only one staff working, and he was taking his time to wait on the customer. He has a long line. It was more people or customers leaving than there were being waiting on. Popeyes you are losing a lot of money being under staff. A way to attract customers is courtesy, fast service and good management.
Foods always late for DoorDash pickup. They open up late and sometimes not at all. Poor customer service. No urgency on taking customer orders in the dining, sometimes they keep the doors locked to deter customers. Very sad
I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at this Popeyes (420 N Valley Mills Dr, Waco). My food sat untouched for over 5 minutes while staff stood around cursing and ignoring customers. When I asked for cutlery, I was refused. When I asked for a refund, that was denied too. When I asked for the employee’s name, she escalated by calling the police, took my photo without consent, called me racist, and told me she was “bigger than me if I wanted to know what a fight was.” This was harassment and intimidation, not customer service. Management needs to take immediate action.
I love Popeyes food. But this has to be the worst location. I'm sure the owner is reading this but as you can read through all these terrible reviews from people you still do not try and correct what is wrong with this place. It needs to be shut down.
To begin, the side entrance/exit doors were locked. Fire code violation! Called to their attention but they didn't do anything about it. The windows & doors were filthy. Chicken tenders were several small pieces but were adequate. Employees were sullen & SLOW. Won't be back.
The workers were outside playing basketball and my order couldn't be taken at the speaker and there was a car in front of me that took about 10 minutes to get their order.
Waited at the register for 10 minutes before leaving. 3 employees walked by including a manager. Not even a hello. Saw about 4 employees sitting and relaxing in the back. No one working. Didn’t even get a chance to order.
This location is painfully slow. I hate to leave this because the food is good but the service is terrible.
They are completely understaffed. Arrived at the drive through just to be told that they can’t take any orders from the drive-through and that I have to come in. Went in & it took 30 mins just for me to place and order, just for them to get my order wrong. Cashier took my order wrong and made it wrong. Got home just to find out the 12pc wings I ordered were 5 short (so there was only 7) and they placed another box full of not only the missing chicken but the wing sauce that goes on the chickens?? And to top it off they gave me some old mashed potatoes with a weird clumps in the *see picture*. They just need to shut this place down asap
I am a nurse at Baylor Scott and White, and when I place an order in advance, I expect it to be prepared in a prompt manner. What was particularly frustrating about today’s experience was that upon arriving at the restaurant, I found that the lobby had been locked. There are no renovations in progress, and the lobby should have been open at 10:00 AM. Consequently, I was forced to wait in a lengthy line, rendering the online ordering process ineffective. To compound the issue, I will now be delayed for work because the manager and staff failed to open the lobby. This situation needs to be addressed. This location has disappointed me previously due to inadequate preparation of my order or falsely claiming it was only recently received, despite having placed it over fifteen minutes earlier. Additionally, there have been numerous inaccuracies in the orders. I continue to visit this location because of its proximity to my workplace; however, following this recent experience, I intend to visit another franchise in hopes of receiving more consistent service. The situation is truly frustrating.
Tuesday January 27th if they continue to steal from Uber and continue to hurt other Uber drivers they will get in trouble. I went there to pick up food I had waited outside 20 minutes I went through the drive-thru multiple times whatever employee was working the drive through that day ignored me when I pulled up to the drive-thru window she did all she could not to even look over at me but I knew she knew I was there.
Trashy place no tables where cleaned trash was over flowing me and my wife asked for spicy tenders we got plane jane tenders! Took 5 minutes for someone to come to the front while the lady who manages the counter was just sitting there staring at us.Food was poor and flavorless couldn't even finish the meal we paid good money for.
Not sure who manages the Popeyes in Waco and Hewitt but these are the worst run franchises I’ve ever had the misfortune to order from. As much as we love Popeyes I will never be coming back to these locations again. The owners and managers need to get their acts together or shut the stores down. I’ve had bad service at places before but these locations and employees definitely are the worst I’ve have ever experienced. Avoid THESE PLACES AT ALL COST IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. you are better off just going to any other place.
Very unprofessional staff. No one said a word to me except for “pull around” since I had a mobile order. Sat in the drive through for 30 minutes and spent over $100 on dinner for my family and half the items were missing. I was the only person there getting food at the time. I tried pulling back around to receive my missing items but the speaker said they were closed. This was at 9:30pm and they don’t close until 11pm. Please do better.
I was walking. Tried to go in and sit down to eat at around 6:30 p.m. and everything was locked. Who locks up that early?! It's barely evening / dinner time! You can't even get in to eat and this place has horrible reviews so probably saved myself a lot of trouble. Went next door to Jason's deli, nice place there! Food was good and could sit and enjoy my meal!
I never leave bad reviews but this is odd? Waited in the drive thru for 15 mins and no response. Drove to the window and the employee was just standing there with his arms crossed. I just drove off…. Doesn’t seem like a good way to run a business and want the owner of the franchise to know what’s going on at their location.
Came in to eat but all doors were locked at 6:00pm , i go through the drive thru wait for 40 minutes! I Take my order and i was very clear on what I wanted. The freddy deluxe box switch the tenders to spicy , large fries and mashed potatoes. After all that time half of my order is wrong! no spicy tenders , missing the cupcake , instead of mashed potatoes i get rice. I wasn't even hungry anymore. I was running late and tried to return my food afterwards making a claim that they can't return eaten food. :/ I didn't even bother to grab a fry let alone the drink I got too. I only took 1 sip. Very disappointed, won't be coming here.
0 stars, I ordered a 12 piece family meal, 4 pies and 2 orders of fried cheese 10 mins ahead of my arrival. Once I was there I waited another 15 mins. I drove 20 mins home to find out they missed my fries (which I was told is the reason I had to wait) my Mac and cheese and 2 pies. The 3 wings I got was way over cooked. I tried to call and it won’t even ring. This place is a joke!
I ordered via Uber. Idk if the workers were high or if they gave me the wrong order. My wings had 0 sauce! I was missing a whole 6 piece and 2 Mac and cheeses. On top of that the wings were fried to hell, I'm talking left out wings, re-fried. LIKE INEDIBLE, I MIGHT AS WELL HAVE ORDER 12 ROCK. To Spend $50 on wings and sides to come to my house and be that trash is crazy. To the owner please get some employees who care about their job cause this is ridiculous and not the first time either. Last time I called and got hung up on and wasnt even being rude or even described the problem yet.
Loud music playing took 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter after I ordered my order via the app. I tried to pick it up in the drive through and was told I will have to come inside to get my order. They also forgot my gallon of tea so I had to go back inside to get it. Was hopeful even after reading reviews but unfortunately I won’t be back.
We got the nine piece tender meal with a large mashed potato and the chicken was alright I had better tenders at other spots then this, biscuits were disgusting they left a weird after taste with each bite so I was very disappointed. The best thing out of the thing was the mashed potatoes and gravy and the pies we got, they didn't even give us our dipping sauces either. So not sure I will come back here if I do it would be for the shrimp and the mashed potatoes and maybe the tenders if I'm starving enough. But the restaurant was nice and friendly just need to work on the biscuits and making sure everything is in the bag even the sauces.
I ordered over $300 worth of food. I ordered it in advance. When i arrived at my time to pick up the order, the store is closed & drive through only. I waited forever in line. My order was supposed to be ready at 11:35, it was 11:50 and they still told me to wait. It’s now 12:36 and i still do not have my order. The general manager as she claims and her employee are yelling at me through the drive thru window while helping other people, stating they will get my order when they get because they drive through customers who come first. Very rude, very disrespectful. I will take my $300 dollar order and to else were as the general manager told me, your order doesn’t mean anything! Thank you for telling me not to spend my money at your store location.
Awful experience. It was dead when I arrive not one car in the drive thru or the parking lot so I thought it’d be quick. They took my order then when I got to the window they took literally 5-7 min to come just to tell me they didn’t have Mayo for what I ordered then I substituted for spicy Mayo just to take 10 MORE minutes to give me my food just for me to drive off and THE FOOD WAS WRONG AND POOR QUALITY. My wings were burned and the wrong flavor, my sandwich was cold. I couldn’t drive back because I was now late for work after waiting so long in line. Then I tried calling them back 8 TIMES and no answer. I called the next day no answer. Absolutely ridiculous.
Only gave 1 star because I had to to give a review. This location is always a disappointment. Food is never fresh, paid over 30 dollars for a 5 piece stale chicken tender meal, and everything we asked for they did not have. , Tea, chicken sandwich or ranch. Went in to take back the food because of how old it looked and when brought back the drinks with it , the lady asked if we drank any of it, like they were going to put it back into the coke machine. She was just trying to be more rude and obnoxious than she already was. We stopped coming to this location because the food is never fresh and people are rude. Tried it again today but will never again. Someone needs to come and supervise the people they have working here because they need to be re trained on how to make fresh food and be a lot more friendly and how to order food and condiments when running low.
This place is awful. Pulled up to the drive thru and after sitting their for 5 minutes some guy finally gets on and ask to take my order. I tell him I have an online order and then dead silent. No response after that. So I pull around to the window and there's a guy inside that just looks at me for a second and then walks off to the back of the store out of view. I sit there another 5 minutes and then some other employee comes walking in front of my car from the front door eating a sandwich and fries and tries to avoid making eye contact with me. Then the employee inside the store walks to the window to see if I'm still there and walks off again without acknowledging me. So I park and go inside and he's in the back just standing there and eventually a female employee walks to the counter and ask me what I needed. I told her I'm there to pick up an online order. She looks at me confused and then starts looking at tickets that are laying on the counter and then proceeds to tell me what all they don't have for my order. So I just took whatever they did have and left. Definitely won't be back to this store ever again.
Worst restaurant ever. DO NOT COME HERE! My order took an hour to prepare after ordering on the app. Another lady was also waiting an hour but was working door dash, another gentleman told me he was never coming back. When I finally got my food it was the wrong items. I ordered spicy chicken sandwiches with no pickles and instead got regular with pickles. I told the manager and I thought he fixed my order. When I got home I took a closer look at the sandwiches and they scraped off the mayo and pickles from the regular chicken and just put spicy mayo on it. That is terrible! I tried calling Popeyes but it’s all automated and I can’t talk to a real person. Don’t come here, it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had from fast food.
The first and last time this establishment will see me. Keesha, shouted from the kitchen after 5 minutes that they will be right with me, after 5 minutes I asked her why do I have to wait to be served. She tells me that she dies not need to serve me if I have an attitude. She then decided to let another person help me and still had comments whilst I placed the order. No napkins, had to ask for a lid and straw for the drink. Even one of the males jumped in. Did not feel safe at all.
