We heard Lola's Lakehouse decorates over the top for the holidays and had to see for ourselves. The place had a crazy amount of Christmas decor and lighting. The holiday menus were modified with a Christmas theme. Everyone loved their cocktails including my wife's mocktail. The shrimp cocktail was awesome and it was a large portion for the four of us. We also had the brie cheese with bread, a very tasty app. Our friends had the salmon and walleye. The salmon was good but a little dry. My wife and I had the tri-tip which was good. Not sure that's my favorite cut of meat. Server and wait staff were friendly and inviting. This place is nestled along the lake and was a perfect setting for dinner. It's an hour and a half away from home but I'll be back.

We drove 90 minutes to come check out Lola’s Jingle Bar and it didn’t disappoint. Our server Hong was perfectly attentive - there exactly when we needed something. Ask to sit in his section! Looking at the menu it was clear that the ingredients were quality and the taste of the food proved it. We had a margherita pizza and Brussels sprouts. The blue cheese on the Brussels sprouts was excellent and complimented them perfectly. We finished the afternoon the patio in a tent overlooking the lake which was pretty cool in late November. We’ll be back!

This place was recommended to us by a friend because of their holiday decorations. It was our fist time visiting and we were delighted! Each room had a theme and was decorated amazingly. I had the walleye and it was really good. Their mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had! We will be back!

Had an amazing anniversary dinner here. It really sucks that this is an hour drive (one way) for us. The December holiday menu was so fun to read through (made it hard to choose what to order). I would of had a photo of the sliders but they disappeared in 0.2 seconds, if I could have those once a week I would be so happy. Top quality food here, definitely worth the price, and compared to city prices these prices are a decent amount cheaper.

We stopped here for the first time today, and I highly recommend it! Our server, Taylor, was SO on spot! She was on top of everything and served with a smile! She was such a joy! The spot on the water was delightful and they have bands on Wednesday nights, not sure of their name, but the did a great job! We had scallops and the Korean Salmon, suggested by Taylor, and they are, by far, the best seafood dishes I've had in MN! If you want a good vibes, live music, great service, and absolutely wonderful seafood (by the water) go to Lola's Lakehouse! It serves all your wants!

We've been to Lola's several times and it has always been amazing. The lobster bisque is my favorite and my husband loves the fish & chips. If you go during the holiday season the entire restaurant is decked out with lights and decorations.

We were here for Jingle Bar. My scallops were delicious, and the Christmas martini was delicious too. The vibe was so fun and festive!

Stopped for lunch during the work week. Great spot to enjoy a meal. Loved the ambiance and the deck overlooking the lake. Very relaxing atmosphere and wonderful staff taking care of patrons! Fish was excellent!!!

I love Lola’s! Their Jingle Bar is extraordinary with fun cocktails and stellar staff. We had a table of 12 ordering everything from scallops to flatbread to salad. No complaints but plenty of contented smiles.

The official indoor place for a Holiday Festive gathering with friends/family. Perfect place for fun and festive photo sessions. The food is delicious and there are amazing healthy options. The staff was kind and so helpful!

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to since I moved to Minnesota. From the beautiful view of the lake, the playlist, the service, and the high quality food this is the best!! The lobster bisque was bar none the best I’ve ever had, the east coast oysters were the perfect flavor and size (I’m an oyster fanatic) the Korean barbecue salmon was perfectly cooked and balanced in flavor. I will absolutely be back! Thanks to Gavin our waiter for a great experience :) Update: Came to Lola’s again and it was just as fabulous!!! Added the crab cakes this time which are perfectly crispy and not “fishy” like some crab cakes can be, the creme brûlée is phenomenal, and the live music from “The Barn Cats” was such a vibe. Our waiter, Brevin, was amazing, attentive, and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back again!

A favorite local spot. Be aware the menu has changed again. I ordered the fig flatbread. It was delicious but I wouldn’t really call a nearly one inch thick bread crust a flatbread. 🤷‍♀️😅 Maybe that’s just me.

The sweetest location I have found. Having lived 13 years on the East Coast; I am hard pressed to find a crab cake that takes me back. They have them at Lola's Lakehouse along with some new England feels and the view. Amazing staff and everything was exceptional. We celebrated our 13 year Anniversary on such a sweet note. Thank you! Don't miss out, this average bird is singing!

Had a great holiday dinner with friends. Food arrived quickly. They have a 90 min table time limit which was plenty of time for us.

Beautiful place and atmosphere! Great food, friendly and very attentive staff. Excellent service. I just loved the place. Perfect view to the lake, I could just sit there for hours sipping a drink 🥃 or beer 🍺 enjoying it and of course enjoying a great and delicious meal!

Today was our first time at Lola's Lake house. What a fantastic location right on the lake. The restaurant is large with inside and outside sitting. The food was fantastic and the best part was the friendly service! We are definitely going back.

We had dinner at Lola’s Lakehouse in Waconia and it was excellent. The lobster and shrimp roll was packed with fresh lobster, lightly dressed, and served on a perfectly toasted bun. It was generous without being heavy, and the chives gave it a nice fresh kick. The lobster bisque was just as good - rich, creamy, and full of flavor, wit just a little bit of lobster. The service was friendly and the lakeside setting makes the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy the view, and feel like you’re treating yourself. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Waconia.

An amazing and relaxing dining option. Beautiful interior with a lovely outdoor section on the lake. The food all tastes and smells incredible. Comes out hot and fresh. Lovely staff and service. The truffle Brussel sprouts were amazing, crispy and SO HUGE! The seafood stew was incredible with a flavorful broth light enough not to compete with the rest of the dish. The fish and chips were a whole fish fillet and less greasy than normal. Will return! The drinks are a bit watered down. My friend and I each got one and there tasted like there was maybe a drop mixed in.

We happened to be driving through town after a funeral. My wife was getting hungry so I told here to find something in the next town for we where still an hour from home and it was getting late. We came across this little gem. Very thriving atmosphere. Our waitress Angela was amazing. The food, omg the food was absolutely amazing. Definitely a must stop. Angela thank you for a great evening and giving us the up lift we needed after a long sad day. You truly made our evening delightful.

Lola's is our new fave! A touch of old-school charm with modern appointments, fantastic food, and fast, friendly service. My filet mignon was perfectly done and so tender! Try the Brussel sprouts and the waffle sundae, they won't disappoint!

The food is excellent and service is real good as well. Make sure you order the waffle sundae

We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary here and were impressed. It was cozy and special. Their new menu is amazing and loved their Long Island Iced Teas. Waitress was 👍 awesome! The Filet Mignon was better than the Ribeye. The Cheesecake was not regular and dense, it was more like a lighter cake. So good. The Brussels Sprouts with bacon were insane. ♥️ Just a special place different if you’re looking for that.

Nice restaurant on the lake. We went on a weekday in the afternoon and it was almost empty. But we had no problem with this. Food was acceptingly good! Service provided was friendly and attentive. Prices were upscale but worth it because the food was of great quality. Clean highchair was provided. Nothing bad to say about this place. Highly recommend.

I ate at Lola’s the day before Mothers Day. Busy but not crowded. Lovely nautical themed restaurant with varied menu and an extensive drink list. I ordered a hot turkey club on cranberry bread. My cohort ordered the walleye. She shared some and it was delicious.

Excellent spot on Lake Waconia! The patio on the lake is spectacular. We just waked through the inside spaces but it looked cute inside as well. The food was fantastic and the drink selection was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

Lola’s Lakehouse is a great little spot. I was visiting from out of town and met a friend there for lunch, and it turned out to be the perfect place to slow down, catch up, and enjoy the setting. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a classic lakeside vibe that really adds to the experience. It feels comfortable and unpretentious, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your time without feeling rushed. The location alone makes it a memorable stop. Overall, Lola’s Lakehouse is a solid choice for a casual meal with good food and a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. If you’re visiting the area or meeting friends for lunch, it’s definitely worth checking out and enjoying the lake views.

Tonight was the best night I’ve ever had at Lola’s! Our server thought they were out of something for a drink then checked and they had it and it made our night. When our food came out we weren’t sure but once we started eating it was absolutely fabulous! Highly recommend the filet and scallops. Will definitely come back!! Angela B….(our server) Thank you!!!

We traveled a long way to see Lola’s Lakehouse transformed into Lola’s Jingle Bar, and it blew us away. The holiday setup is above and beyond incredible. Fully immersive, festive, and unlike anything we’ve seen anywhere else. Each room was a different experience!! Our server, Hong, was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to talk to, he made the whole experience feel even more special. His attitude and attention brought an extra spark to an already memorable night. If you’re considering checking out the Jingle Bar, absolutely do it. It’s worth every bit of the journey, especially with service like Hong’s. Ps. Get the cheese curds. You won’t regret it.

We stopped by Lola’s Lakehouse to check out their holiday setup and the place was fully transformed with Christmas décor. Hung was our server and did an excellent job and was always there right when we needed something, so I’d definitely recommend asking for his section. Also I recommend making a reservation before checking out the holiday atmosphere as it was super busy when we went. The overall visit was really enjoyable, and we would absolutely come back again!

Best turkey burger ive ever had. Food was excellent all around the table. Calamari, steak salad abd mushroom burger we're a few other hits. The way they transformed it over to a winter wonderland is absolutely stunning as well.

I love everything about Lola's. It's atmosphere brings back so many happy memories for me. The Jingle Bar (Polar Express) is a wonder in itself. I would encourage anyone to stop in there over the holidays and enjoy the holiday atmosphere. You won't be disappointed!

We decide to try this place because of their pop-up Christmas decorations and the atmosphere did not disappoint. It was cozy and festive which we really enjoyed. I ordered a holiday cocktail and it was very good. However I did wish the menu offered more meat options such as beef and chicken. I ordered the pancetta and fig flatbread. Unfortunately I didn't realized until I got home that it came with goat cheese or some sort of cheese instead of the advertised butternut squash puree and fried Brussels sprout leaves. Whiling the flavor was sweet and interesting overall I'd rate it 5/10. My husband had the fish and chips. The cod was huge, meaty and crispy but the batter itself lacked seasoning so the tartar sauce ended up carrying most of the flavor. He gave it a 6/10 We also tried to order chicken wings but they were sold out at 4pm, which was disappointing. Despite a few misses during the visit, we'd still be open to give this place another try during the summer to explore other items like the burgers and other flat breads, hopefully they'll have the chicken wings the next time we stop by.

My wife and I went to Lolas Lakehouse and the whole experience was impressive from the moment we walked in. The place is decorated from top to bottom for Christmas and every room feels like a different holiday scene. It felt like stepping into a holiday movie and the atmosphere alone made the visit worth it. John was our server and he took great care of us. He checked in often and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was good and everything looked great. The only thing that was off was the shrimp because they were overcooked but everything else tasted really good. Overall my wife and I had a great visit. The service was solid the decorations were beautiful and even with the shrimp being overcooked we would still go back because the whole place had a warm and welcoming vibe.

Overall the atmosphere was incredible. I had never been here during their holiday displays before and it was so fun to see and experience finally. I had ordered the scallops, and while delicious, I have to note everyone at our table felt the portions for price was a little off. Some of us felt we still needed to order more after finishing our entrees, so we did add in some sides and then felt satisfied. The sides come as a really nice size for sharing, just noting for the meal itself, you may want to add something to it as you're ordering (or plan for dessert, which by the way - STRONGLY recommend the crème brûlée. That was next level delicious). ✨

We sat outside on the bar patio and were happy to see it looks like they have tweaked the food menu a bit! It looks more versatile with snack options, coursed meals and appeals to a wider range of diners. We had a few drinks to enjoy the view and the bees were pretty bad, stinging one other guest, but not sure the restaurant can do too much to manage that further.

Great food right on Lake Waconia. You can always count on Lola’s Lakehouse for good comfort food. They offer a wide menu varying from burgers to mussels and the prices tend to be on the higher end. Their clam chowder and lobster bisque is fantastic. They used to serve brunch with amazing pancakes but they since have unfortunately stopped due to apparent staffing issues. Overall the atmosphere and food offer a cozy and relaxing vibe and you should swing through and give them a try whether you’re coming by car or boat!

Warm and inviting, Lola’s is a unique combination of new and old with a great nautical boathouse vibe. They offer a really well rounded menu from pizza and burgers to steak and fresh fish. Service was extraordinary, very attentive and prompt. We lingered longer than expected enjoying the atmosphere and great craft cocktails. Worth going out of your way for - recommended.

This lakeside restaurant offers a truly beautiful setting, with an ambiance that perfectly captures a serene and welcoming atmosphere. It’s wonderfully family-friendly, making it an ideal spot for gatherings of all ages. The food is exceptional, with every dish prepared to perfection, and the service is attentive, warm, and genuinely inviting. From start to finish, every aspect of the experience was delightful—I wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience by the lake!

My birthday reservation was made weeks in advance and was even noted on the reservation made. Yet, when we got there we were seated and that was that. Which is kinda disappointing when other restaurants have given me complementary desserts, drinks, and even a simple “happy birthday” to acknowledge the occasion. Our waiter let us step out on the patio for quick pictures which was really nice since we were hoping to get views of the lake. I got the flatbread pizza with goat cheese and leeks which was a good but a little less oil and it would of been perfect. The blackberry smash margarita was delicious. The decor is very on theme with the vibe, there is low light and most comes from the open windows. Parking is located in the front and there is street parking.

Great server Angela was always vigilant and very informative. Great attitude. The food was great. Our seating was not the best, but given the number of guests, it was understandable. What a treat. The whole place was decorated within an inch of its life...fun! Recommend highly.

Had a nice dinner here on a cool summer evening, and we were lucky enough to get a seat outside on the deck. The cocktails were fun, if not extremely progressive (a little too reliant on vodka and flavored spirits for my own taste) and the food was good to above average (though the lobster bisque was far too salty). There were a few mix-ups with our food, including one entree arriving before our appetizers, but our waitress was apologetic and set everything straight. The staff overall were very pleasant and the setting and location were fantastic.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all fine. Prices were a bit steep and exceeded the food quality/quantity, service, and atmosphere. We're unlikely to return based on this experience. We visited in the evening, after dark, so perhaps the atmosphere is much better in the daylight. The front door wasn't even lit, so finding the entrance was challenging. We brought a group of five. My salmon on a cedar plank was a bit overdone, but not too bad. My son's fish (fish and chips) was definitely overdone, though apparently not bad enough for him not to finish (he loves fish). The Buffalo chicken wings were good. The clam chowder was very good, but also expensive.

Disappointed in the pasta. It looked good but lacked flavor big time. Service was amazing!! Oysters were great.

Service was fantastic, outdoor seating was nice with a DJ who was spinning some great tunea. Unfortunately, the food was pretty mediocre. We were really looking forward to seafood, looked good, taste was pretty blah.

Two of us ordered the Lake Wings (sweet chili), Turkey Burger w/waffle fries and Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding. The wings were fried crispy, the flavor was sweet and slightly spicy, they were good. The Turkey Burger was nicely seasoned, the bun was fresh, the size of the sandwich with the thick slices of avocado, cheese and sauce made it slip around on the bun and hard to pickup. I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. The waffle fries were served hot and seasoned nicely, they were very good. The seasoned sour cream was tasty. We had the Cinnamon Roll Bread Budding for dessert. I would not order this again. It was dry and pretty much tasted like a cinnamon roll. The waitress was kind enough to ask if we wanted a different dessert. We asked for some ice cream. The vanilla ice cream was creamy, lotsa of vanilla flavor, super good, much better then the bread pudding. We rate it a three because the food was average, we would return if in the area although wouldn’t make a special trip to eat here. The service was 5 stars. Wonderful service from the hostess at the front to the server, and those who picked up our plates. I am certain this is a beautiful place to dine outdoors in the summer.

We were on time for our reservation, however, we were not sat for another 25 minutes. Once we were sat drinks took another 15 minutes to arrive (no wonder our table wasn’t ready at the time it was reserved for). They were busy, but staff need to expect that on a Saturday night in December. Once we had our drinks they were good and the appetizer we ordered was good as well. So, I may give Lola’s another chance in the future.

C
Chad Klaustermeier

Unfortunately they let all of their experienced staff go and hired younger, inexperienced staff. My order was incorrect plus various things were timed very poorly. Things that only an experienced server would know. For 230$ for lunch, I would expect better. Hire the previous servers back please!

Update – I am very disappointed they are closed. There was no posted signage and the door was unlocked. I walked in and they were taking out Christmas decorations. I then found out that they are closed until January 10. Very disappointed as I was coming here for my birthday and there was no posted signage and I also didn’t see anything online. Prior review: If I could give this place, 11 out of five stars I would. I felt like royalty in this place. Not only was I immediately greeted and seated the second I walked in the door. I was given water within five seconds of sitting down, with a menu And a waiter who is ready to serve immediately. They checked to see if I wanted my appetizers first, checked to see if I wanted recommendations and checked to see if I had any questions about anything on the menu. When the food came out, the waiter also checked to make sure that the food was to our liking and that we enjoyed it. My friend gets full easy and wanted the rest of her food to go and the waiter said “I just want to make sure that the food was to your liking personally.” So, not only did the waiter check when it came out and we had already eaten halfway but he also checked as we left. This place had the absolute best service that I have ever received at any restaurant. I have been to hundreds of restaurants across the U.S and nothing beat the service here or even came close. That’s just the service, the food, mouthwatering. The lemonade I got was the best lemonade I’ve had, handcrafted, of course. the oysters were very fresh and a delicacy. If you told me that they harvested those oysters out of the lake they’re next to I would’ve believed you. The flatbread was cooked to perfection, and every bite was the feeling of the sun on your face in the middle of a summer day. It was phenomenal, no burnt or overcooked edges. This place was affordable, considering how fancy it was and how great the food was. The oysters were $22 for a half dozen. The flatbread was large enough for two people and was $17. 100% will be coming back. I think it’ll honestly be my new place with my husband. This is now a regular spot of ours that we try to do date night at least once a month. Thank you for always providing the best service, food and drinks!
