I loved it. The people were so nice and friendly, the burgers were tasty, and the yard space was really welcoming. It was a perfect rest stop along the road. I got the Ortega burger with bacon and cheese.

I travel a lot for work, and through those travels I eat many burgers from many places. This is possibly the best burger I have ever had. I know that's a big statement, but it's true. The ingredients where all fresh and phenomenal. The only downside is that know every burger I eat I compare it to this one. I will be going out of my way to visit the wonderful establishment again. Thank you, don't change a thing.

The burgers are on point, their shakes are amazing, the fries aren't too bad but I'd stay away from their fish and chips. The outdoor seating area is nice. The main parking lot is tight so if you have a big vehicle then you aren't going to have much room, fortunately there is plenty of parking on the road.

Very tasty foods here. I had a burger with coleslaw and a milkshake made with real banana. You have the choice of artificial banana flavor vs a real banana. The real banana was *real* good! Many places have meh coleslaw, but the Coleslaw here was very good too! This place, recommended! It's also a great spot after a quick (motorcycle?) ride through Monitor pass. 🏍😎

A hidden gem on the side of the road. The burgers were great and the onion rights too. There was a line when we got there in the afternoon, but the food gets made quickly. It’s outdoor seating in the shade. Would be a good stop between Lake Tahoe to Mammoth Lakes. Would recommend as a pitstop with pets as well as they have a sizeable grass patch and seating.

Great little roadside stop. The burger was awesome and the onion rings top notch. I look forward to being able to eat here again. The outdoor seating was a perfect spot to relax in the shade.

Great service! Great food! This is a small, super casual, 'mom and pop' burger joint. Small seating area. After your food has been served, whatever you do, don't let your guard down from the seagulls! The seagulls will steal your food right off of your plate, faster than it took for the cook to prepare your meal for you 😆 My boyfriend and I weren't expecting to lose our meal, and we mistakenly walked away from our onion rings and hotdogs. What were we thinking!? The onion rings and hotdogs were far more delicious and far more sought after than we were expecting! If you're not careful, the seagulls will love your food just as much as you do!!

Great burgers, especially the Macho Burger. However, it's rather expensive. Two burgers, two small shakes and small fries cost us $50.

This place is a gold mine. We were there on a Sunday at lunch time. There must have been 40 people waiting in line to order. All dining is outside on a tree shaded patio. As busy as they were, the wait was not terrible. I would not drive far out of my way for this place but I would make it a lunch stop on my route.

The macho is a must have blackberry shake was excellent and for some reason even the Dr pepper tastes better here. We live in tahoe and will be back!

This place is legit. The local hotshot crew was grabbing burgers in front of us. That's how you know it's the best place in town.

We stopped through here on our way to Lake Tahoe. We had a couple of burgers, fries, and a milkshake. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! We absolutely loved the dining space - what a beautiful reprieve from sitting in the car on the road. It was shady, there were beautiful flowers, and there were ample tables. We'd happily recommend this spot to anyone driving by!

Fast and friendly service. They have the best milk shakes. The food is basic. There is no indoor seating, however the outdoor seating is kinda nice, could use better tables and chairs. They're a little expensive. The ice cream shake is what worth stopping for.

What an amazing hidden gem! We stopped by here on our way back from Bishop and it was so nice to have a beautiful shady spot for our kids to get out and run around (they even had little pedal cars to play with!) The food was reasonably priced, delicious, and came out quick. The staff were super friendly and put a smile on my face. And to top it all off the bathrooms were immaculate! This will be a must-stop for us whenever we're in the area from now on.

What a delightful find along the route. The owners have really give out of their way to provide delicious food and a good, open-air seating. The menu was diverse, with something for everyone, and plenty of good sized portions.

This was recomended to me by a co-worker, when i was making the drive from yosemitie to south tahoe. It did not disappoint, classic road side burger joint, with an awesome side garden to eat in.

Yeah, sorry, smelled so could, couldn't wait to dig in. Clean rest room, easy walk up counter. Plenty of space between tables. Picnic cloths provided if you want to sit on grass. Dogs welcome. Can't wait to go back. Ortega burger in picture was fabulous. My picky eater ordered a meat and bun... And loved it, said he would order lettuce next time. The fries were awesome! If you like ranch, ask for extra, what they give is small. Picnic tables shaded with lattice.

This is the ideal small town burger. Simple, fresh veg and the right amount of it, patties cooked well round medium plus but higher fat to stay juicy. Best beer battered, standard size onion rings Ive had.

I hadn't planned to eat here, but I was running late for lunch in Carson City, and stopped here on an impulse - and so glad I did! This is a proper little burger shack, outdoor seating only. I had a bacon cheeseburger with crinkle cut fries, and I simply couldn't fault it.

I stopped in on my drive to Bridgeport. This was the only thing for miles. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good the food was. Ide recommended stopping if your driving through. Awesome little garden seating outside.

Craving a burger and saw this place off the side of the road. We were pleasantly surprised. Food was great with big portions. They also offer ice cream and smoothies. We were too full for dessert though. Would gladly stop here again if ever in the area.

Best burgers off Highway 395! The shakes are absolutely delicious too. The young man and the gal working there provide excellent customer service, and the place is spotless. They also have a charming patio where you can sit and enjoy your meal—perfect stop if you're passing through!

Stopped here with a buddy when we were out on a motorcycle ride. We were very hungry. Food was really good and were large portions. The garden area is shaded and you can take some time to relax a little and enjoy the food. I liked it and will eat here again next time I roll into town.

Bacon cheeseburger and French fries were AWESOME! Almost like a diner burger where it all just melds together perfectly. Fries were crispy and perfectly done. Outdoor seating is fun, grassy with trees and plants and birds. Great place to eat!

I stopped here for lunch on a Thursday in early October, just after noon, and they were doing a brisk business. The order taker was the most pleasant person I've talked to in weeks! I got the bacon burger and large fries. The burger was good, but not special. But the fries were fantastic. Probably the best crinkle-cut fries I've ever had. Crispy, hot, and very generously portioned. I didn't even take a picture of the burger, but I sure did make sure to take a pic of those fries! I couldn't even eat all of the fries (that might be the first time I've ever said that), but they made for a great snack later on at camp. Outdoor seating only, but I had the pleasure of being there on a beautiful fall afternoon, and the outdoor seating was very nice.

I very highly recommend this place. I'm currently on a road trip and was planning to eat at another restaurant in Walker, but they were closed, so i decided to eat at Walker Burger instead, and it was great! I just had a cheeseburger, small fries, and a peanut butter milkshake and it was great. I love the garden eating area and overall this was a very relaxing place to eat and take a break from driving.

What a great break from driving. We shared the Macho burger with fries and a Snickers Sierra Cyclone. The burger was well-seasoned and the toppings were great (loved the fried onion ring). Fries were truly addictive - crunchy and just the right amount of salt. We over-did it with the cyclone, but we'll eat light later... :) And the outdoor seating is eclectic and fun. Did I say the folks behind the counter were helpful and pleasant? Just go there.

This is a gem waiting for you to find and try out first hand. The burgers are amazing, and the soft serve ice cream is the best; vanilla, chocolate, and half and half. Prefer it dipped. They do that, too. Definitely, a must try. Just take a drive and go explore the town of Walker and hit up Walker Burger. You won't regret it. Also, the scenery is beautiful to see. 💯

What's a great place! First of all, their burgers are amazing. I had the Western Macho Bürger and it was so good I wanted to eat two of them. Their fries are awesome as well. BTW, their definition of 'large' is really what it means. Large fries easily feed two people. But the best thing is their beautiful back yard. They also have delicious ice cream! Walker Burger is the perfect small town eatery! All the seating is in an extended, beautiful garden complete with a fountain, a windmill, assorted antiques and of course beautiful flowers! Lots of shade too! Not only is it a beautiful place to relax but the food is delicious too. Great, homemade style hamburgers and the largest selection of milkshakes I have ever seen! This is an excellent place ro stop on the 395!

Best burgers and onion rings we've found in a long time. Lots of outside tables in the shade. Windshield squeegee available. They even have cloths to put on the lawn so you can have a picnic while eating your burgers.

OMG, this "drive in " style restaurant is an absolute must visit! Their menu is similar to what you would expect at a drive-in. But from there everything is wonderfully different! Their food is very good. It is a park like setting all around a wonderful stop for it individuals, friends and families. Their services friendly and fast. I had the best chocolate malt an order of french fries ever. It was a refreshing and enjoyable stop. And their restrooms were clean, for real.

Burger was good and the vanilla milkshake was great but a bit pricey, I didn't get fries. Stopped in for lunch while on a motorcycle ride over the three mountain passes and was not disappointed. Line to order went quick, food came quick as well and plenty of outdoor seating, and lovely grounds as well.

I've heard about Walker Burger for a little while, finally had a chance to stop in and try for myself. Very good burger, juicy and delicious! Love their big steak fries too! Great staff, very friendly! Plenty to choose from on the menu to satisfy nearly anyone. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating area, very scenic and relaxing. When you're traveling Hwy 395 through Coleville make sure to take time out and stop by Walker Burger!

While not top gourmet quality food, the overall meal experience is good. The strength of the place is that it is at the right place at the right time. We always look forward to a stop there.

Fries are amazing, usually a long wait because its so popular and they do run out of seats but the food is great and definitely worth the stop.

Food was good not great. Family likes to take a ride and get a walker burger when we're bored. Don't remember 3 burgers 3 fries and 3 drinks being 60 bucks last year though. Would still go back though. Love the atmosphere... It's like eating in their back yard!

We’ve been going here for 20 years. Always stop when we’re driving through, and we love it. But… the prices are just getting ridiculous. I get that everything’s more expensive, and that you are in a remote place.…but $20 for two small shakes is just too much! I still highly recommend this place to anyone driving through…I just wish they’d make the prices more reasonable.

Cutest little place off of the highway. Great atmosphere. Plenty of room for kids and dogs to roam. Picnic tables and nice bathrooms available. Food was pretty good but a little pricey for the quality. Super sweet service.

I love this place, but the burgers are a bit disappointing because their buns aren't toasted, and they are a flat, not plump. Shakes are fries are delicious.

So we have stopped before for a burger. But this time we stopped for a shake. Asked for a Carmel Shake, paid $12 for med shake. We got a vanilla shake no Carmel.. and the shake was not good. Seemed like it was old or expired.

The place is amazing, a wonderful little garden experience with a variety of styles of tables to choose from throughout. You order and pick up at the building window like typical fast food, but it's not fast. I ordered the cheese burger, frys 🍋 lemon water and peach shake. The bun is weak, the burger ok, the veggies limp (except tomato). The crinkle frys are unexpectedly good after eating a bite of the hamburger. The peach shake was barely adequate but the lemon 🍋 water was refreshing on that warm summer day.

After hearing years of hype, the burger 🍔 was good, but nothing "like it used to be". Food was pricy, and one of us tried to order a shake, but they were out of every flavor he asked for... then got a totally different flavor than what was ordered. Outdoor ordering/seating is wonderful with a beautiful garden but LOTS of flies/trash... I'm not saying I wouldn't stop here again, I'm just no longer making a point to.

The burger was trash! The meat was cheap and flavorless! For a 10 dollar burger the meat could be better quality! Yall heard of salt and pepper. If you are going to use cheap meat, at least season it ! Id rather have In N Out! The ranch was the cheap bottled one, making it is way better! For a roadside place, it was beautiful but the food sucked the fries had a funky taste, the oil probably hasn't been changed it was horrible. Not impressed if your passing through, just keep going!
