The Habit Burger Grill

Please if you haven't been here, go ahead and do yourself a favor and try them out!! Whatever you choose you are going to enjoy. I tried the portobello mushroom burger and I fell in fullness.

First time trying this place and it won't be our last. The char burger was delicious and the chicken club sandwich looked and tasted amazing. The onion rings are crisp and come with sauce. Love that they have peppers for you to have on the side, it really adds kick to the burger. Can't wait to try this place again. Looking forward to ordering the tempura green beans next time! Friendly staff and quick service.

The manager today (January 3rd, 2026 at 2:26) absolutely killed it. After our food was taken by someone else, she remade everything and offered to give us a free shake which I declined cause I know how much of an adjustment it is to get a location like this up and running. She managed a rush with grace and seems to lead the team through it like a pro. As someone who lived in California for a while, and loved Habit, so to have one here is like Christmas came early when I saw they were open. I know I’m biased cause of the history I have with Habit, but nothing beats their sweet potato fries and a milkshake. Definitely give them a try if you’re in the area, they are far superior to other establishments (looking at you In-N-Out)

Great burgers and food. So glad they opened a location close to Portland. We love the one in Tukwila but so glad we don't have to travel to Seattle to get a burger from The Habit anymore!

Used to get Habit every so often back in California and I'd say this definitely lives up to that. Ingredients taste fresh and the service was great. If you're in the area and Shake Shack is too far away for you, this is about as good as it gets for a fast food burger.

This location opened a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to go in because its been really busy. So I finally went in to order some food, it had a small sit down area for eating in so we ordered to go from the kiosk. The food did take a while to prepare. You can tell the staff is still learning. While waiting for my food I did see the person that was cooking the patties and on the fryer was throwing away quit a bit of food. We got our food and went home to eat it, The food was a little bit on the pricey side but it was great. I ordered the double char burger and I ordered it with avocado on it with a side of onion rings. The avocado was fresh, the patties were cooked just right. I liked the onion rings because the breading from them didnt hurt my gums as I would bit down on them. I would order from here again.

I got in my car and drove halfway there before I got another text that it was actually being delivered.

I only ordered a burger. I do not eat out of a deep fryer. 4 stars because they served me a burger with a burnt grilled bun. Proovi g a good employee is hard to find. Would have been 5 stars, was a tasty burger when I removed the burnt bun. Small seating area. I presume that is why they offer outside seating.

I used Uber eats and everything arrived early enough and warm ish. Mine wasn't in a container but the second burger was? I got the beef teriyaki, my main complaint is the lack of sourdough substitute, which might be a Uber eats issue. The food, I only got the ahi and teriyaki beef both on sesame buns. The buns were ehhhh, the burger flavor was there but not super overpowered. The ahi was good but both patties were farely thin. The cost was high for two burgers, I get with the ingredients but we can get a local bar burger with better flavor. Just my opinion, stick to local burger joints. Support local, not a CALiforniWay company like in-and-out(once you get they the hour drive thru)

And I literally only got 1 single mushroom on the entire sandwich. Cut down the middle, in the direct center. The steak was dry and way smaller than the bread itself. Avocado was also $2.20 to add and it was mashed and spread just in the center. The bacon was $1.90 to add and also only 2 small pieces. I will never eat from this place again. Staff was nice when ordering though. Sweet Potato Fries were, ok. I was expecting a normal sized sandwich then with all my added stuff. It would be big and spilling out, messy goodness. And sliced Avocados, handful of Mushrooms, Bacon that exceeded the bread.. But no. Not at all. Very Opposite. Very disappointing.

I am very disappointed! My co workers and I ordered food at 12:30pm with the pick up time being 1:10pm. I Went to pick up the food on my lunch break and the cashier said you’re going to think it’s funny but we didn’t receive your online order as we’re having issues. How that’s funny beats me. I then show her my order and she says I’ll help you after I help these people in line. 10 mins later she takes my order. I then wait ANOTHER 30 minutes for my food to be done just for it to be cold. The cashier did not do anything to make the situation better, what happened to going above and beyond for customers ESPECIALLY on a 30 min lunch that was I late coming back to…

If I wasn’t tried I would have returned it and got my money back I need the store manger to have a meeting with the entire night shift that was working 12/30 around 9:15pm. Do better I know what you all are capable of. The morning shift would never. I won’t be going back for a while this ruined my cravings for a bit.
