First time coming to cheddars and I was absolutely blown away with the service, every waiter and waitress did an amazing job, but david killed the bar area! Waited tables took orders and made sure everyone was taken care of, Guy is top notch at his job!

Everything here is great. LOVE the Mojitos. Had ribs fries and coleslaw. They make the best onion rings I have ever eaten. Our waiter was on point tonite.

I will speak in the items I frequent there: Croissants are to die for, so good, 100/10 recommend and they bring one out to everyone at the table when you get there. Spinach dip, oh man 12/10 gotta recommend and they have thin chips if you are a thin chip kind of person. Salmon, double the rice and get broccoli, 10/10 you know I’m gonna recommend, it’s really good quality salmon. My go-to if I am looking for a lighter meal because I wanted to order the spinach dip for an appetizer (hehe). Chicken pot pie, 8/10 also recommend, very good if you are craving mammas homemade cookin’… Chicken fried chicken/chicken strips, 10/10 man o man I recommend. The chicken there is amazing. I also have to give credit to the mashed potatoes. I know the difference between real and fake potatoes and they are definitely real and oh so good. The monster cookie, 10/10 recommend, I have a sweet tooth, and this cookie definitely is a fix. I recommend eating it with two people though, as it is pretty sizable. Honestly, anything here has been good, I haven’t had a bad meal yet.

we were passing through, a very good meal the rolls were light and tasty. the wife meal according to her very very tasty and good loved the shrimp. my meal was great my only complaint and it really isn't so much food. too much for us but that meant seconds on the road saved buying lunch thank you waitress was very good and polite.

Exceptional value and great tasting food. My go to item is the buffalo chicken tenders. As of April 2025 where can you get five tenders and two sides for $12.95? I find almost all the food items to be very reasonably priced and of very good qualities and portion size.

Eclectic American fast-casual. Think Chili's, but a notch up on quality and atmosphere. At a quarter past noon on a Saturday, there was a wait for tables in the main dining area. However, there is free seating in the bar area with full kitchen service. I had country fried steak and it was delicious. The crunch of the batter held out all the way to the last nite.

David was amazing! Bro is definitely going places if he is not already running this establishment. I will be back 100%, Customer service was 10/10. Very attentive to his guest at all times, bro has this business on lock!! Great job David & thank you for the wonderful experience!!

Surprisingly good! This was my second time eating at a Cheddar’s and I only came here because the restaurant I intended to go to was closed. I ate by myself at the end of a 12 hour drive. Greeted and sat quickly, I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was brought to me hot and fresh in maybe 5 minutes. Delicious! The whole experience took about 30 minutes, but everyone and everything was so good that I asked to speak with a manager and thanked her and told her how impressed I was!

Was disappointed I didn't get the drink I ordered, but the food was excellent. This Key West Chicken and Shrimp is my favorite. The chicken is never dry! The honey butter croissants are a little addicting! All in all a great dining experience!

We regularly visit Cheddars. They have great food, we love the atmosphere, and excellent drink specials without waiting on a happy hour. I like the Texas Tea or the Cheddars long island. For dinner, I usually go with the chicken tender platter, buffalo style. My family likes the Monte Cristo, the Salmon, or the Grilled chicken and shrimp. Pictured is the giant cookie.

We’re on a road trip and we didn’t get to this restaurant until 10:15 pm when they close at 11:00 pm. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and didn’t make us feel rushed. I know this is a chain restaurant but it was lovely inside and the food was fresh and really delicious. The desserts looked amazing but we couldn’t even finish the generous portions in our entrees so we had to pass. The fried chicken breast was terrific as was the bottomless strawberry lemonade. Special shoutout to our charming waiter Braden. His cheerful friendliness was most welcome after a long day of driving.

You really must try the salmon and get the 8.0 ounce. It’s so delicious you won’t want to stop with 5 ounces. It is cooked to perfection. While you’re there, make sure Enrique is your server. He was serving two functions. He was our bartender and our server. He didn’t miss a trick. Our drinks were excellent. His service was outstanding. Very nice young man. We stopped at this Cheddars in Amarillo on the way back home from Colorado. It was beautiful inside, and we had a very attentive, fun, and amazing server named David. He was so personable and kind and had excellent recommendations! We felt so blessed to have him as our server. The atmosphere (we ate in a booth in the bar area) was great, and we loved our food. My husband had the ribeye steak, which he loved, and I had the sirloin steak, which was super tender. They both came with 2 sides and, of course, free buttered croissants on your table. My frozen Texas Strawberry Swirl Margarita was SO good!!! Highly recommended this location! We even left with desserts to go!!!

The key West chicken and shrimp what's amazing with the pineapple Pico considering I'm not a fan of Pico it is a must and the starting rolls are really good along with the strawberry sweet tea

Very nice restaurant not overly priced. The atmosphere is calming and friendly. They have a small kids menu. As most know I also look for any nutritional menu information for my kids who have allergies. They do offer a scan and go menu that shows you everything you would like to know. Our server was wonderful, even management walks amongst the restaurant to greet guests. Their food was very tasteful and greatly priced. The presentation of their food is also very well placed. Lots of seating. In a separate part of the restaurant they have seating for their in house bar. They even have a separate entrance with parking for to go orders which I find very neat. Overall is a wonderful place to go eat!

We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers medium well with fries online for pick up. They came out more than medium well, they’re charred. We called and they offered to make it right. We’re tired and it’s been a long day and we just wanted something good to eat. Cheddars has always made delicious beefy burgers so hopefully everyone is just having an off day. We’ll be back to try again. But not today.

1st time at this chain. Had a great server and my chicken fried chicken was tasty - chicken moist with light breading on Texas toast and covered with sausage gravy. Meal came with mashed potatoes and carrots, though you do have other choices on your sides. In and out quickly - food settled quickly. Atmosphere like most any restaurants of this type. Bonus- they started before my order with a hot croissant with sweet icing.

They just celebrated their 10yr anniversary here in Amarillo. My family and I have always enjoyed eating here. We have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The only reason I knocked off a star is because they no longer serve their awesome Shepard’s pie. Everything else here is good, but I loved their Shepherds pie, sad that they took it off the menu.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. I always get the veggie plate. The kids try something different most times. The restaurant is always clean. It's not too loud in there. The hosts are friendly as well as the servers. Tonight we had the spinach dip and also the onion rings as an appetizer. The entrees were chicken alfredo, New Orleans pasta, the veggie plate, and chicken strips. All were great except the chicken Alfredo, it barely had any chicken or alfredo sauce. The dish was plain and flavorless. We will still go back but won't order the chicken Alfredo any more.

Presentation was nice. Ordered Fish. It was cold. Broccoli brownish. Green beans cold, and just not what I'm used to getting from Cheddar's. Just not very edible. But definitely don't dare to send it back. Would you? Bartender was really cool so gave all the additional stars to him, but not the cook. Come on Cheddar's. You're lucky your bartender saved you on this one.

First let me say that "tiny" Tina was absolutely fabulous. She was polite, prompt, professional and attentive. She was smiling and seemed like she really enjoyed her job. Okay for the foodwe had a triple play appetizer, then grilled salmon and shrimp with salad and red beans/rice. My co-worker had the grilled cheese with ham and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Both meals were delicious. BUT TINA stole the day and made it so enjoyable.

My best friend took me for my birthday. I choose to eat there. Got shrimp alfredo. I asked the waitress for red pepper flakes for my pasta, as she replied with a no, her response was “they are picky with they're spices” and asked if i wanted paprika. No. I wanted red pepper flakes. I can’t add flavor to a greasy pasta with tabasco or hot sauce (yes she offered that too.) i was really disappointed with the food and even got sick after only eating a third of my flavorless pasta, and yes it was greasy.

Croissants they bring to your table are light and fluffy. The steak was the worst my hubby has ever eaten. Cheese on the potatoe wasn't even melted. Grilled cheese sandwich ok. Red beans dry. Salad was good but you can mess that up. Now the desert was the winner the cake was moist.

The broccoli was NOT steamed, only moist slightly and hard as a raw broccoli! I asked for only butter on my potato because I’m allergic to sour cream and they filled it only with sour cream, when they it handed it over it was only sour cream on the potato! But to top it all off, the new steak appeared to never have touched the grill. The outer edge was grey and very hot, the outer layers of meat were very dry. If you are looking for COOKED FOOD please look for another restaurant... First the Honey Buttered Croissant is undercooked, so I politely ask the waiter if he could get us another batch he then explains to me that "This is how they are made they range from what is on your plate to fully cooked" I was in shock hearing that this restaurant serves undercooked bread to their customers. Secondly and thank god its the last is that I ordered the "Cheddar's Legendary Monster Cookie" to go. I asked the waiter jokingly "Well I hope it comes fully cooked" he then replies "Yes sir, I'll have them cook it twice for you" in a joking tone of voice. I then get the "Legendary Cookie" pay my tab then leave the restaurant. Once I arrive at home I begin to put the food in the refrigerator some of the food being tossed around by the bumpy roads I notice the LEGENDARY COOKIE is actually severally undercooked I have attached a photo of this legendary cookie as proof. So in conclusion if you are to somehow end up at cheddars please check to see if your food is actually cooked. It is unreal how this place is still open with standards like this.

He told the waitress that he is allergic to onions and asked if the green beans had onions in them. She said there wasn't any in there. Then she told him they had no shrimp, so he had to peruse the menu again and decided to have just the salmon. The sauce that came with it was full of onions, which he didn't know until he poured it over the salmon. Needless to say, he never got his salad either. When we told the waitress that things were not right, she sent the manager Amanda over who could ony say yes sir, even when he told her it was a good way to lose customers. Another waiter, Enrique, came to check on us and we explained to him about our meals not being right. He offered to get our salads to go, but we were ready to just leave at that point. He went to get the check and came back to explain that he removed y husband's meal and took off the salads that we never got. At this point he was doing the manager's job of trying to placate us. He should get a promotion for his great customer service! Apparently our waitress had to leave for an emergency and the manager's shift was over so they both left. Nick the manager was MIA during this whole ordeal. We will not be going back to this place. The only saving grace is the waiter Enrique.

Worst restaurant in Amarillo the host girls were very rude and the management is even worse. I got the smokehouse burger and it was disgusting i will never be returning.

Went straight home and... "ejected" my lunch from this place...literally made me sick. Went from a nice Saturday out with the wife to kneeling in front of a toilet and laying in bed. Food has been just okay before, but I think this will end up as our final visit.

I love cheddar's, but my last experience was terrible! We had a bad waitress that didnt pay attention to us. We ended up asking for a new one and he did ok, but the food was still terrible. This is a picture of the lemons and limes I asked for. They look like they are old and they were definitely slimy! Yes, it was busy, but that isn't an excuse for bad service!

Had a party of 6 and every single player that came to the table was cold. Gravy for the chicken fried chicken was ice cold so sent it back and they brought it back still cold. Worst experience ever and will not return

I like cheddars but Me and my mom walked in and they sat us down fast but we waited 20-25 minutes and no one served us it wasn’t busy at all the workers went around us and served other people I don’t like to boss the workers around so we left.

Food was severely undercooked, there was a red hair in my painkiller drink, and my server seemed to have better things to do than take care of my table. Awful service and I won’t be going back. This place used to be good, but it’s gone down hill and lost all standards. It’s sad that I had to take my steak home and cook it myself for dinner.

It seems all Cheddars pickup orders are bad at all locations. They never get the order right and give you the order whenever they feel like. This location I guess they were having a shift change so all of them were outside talking while I waited for my order. I’m patient so 10 minutes late isn’t a big deal except when you see everyone not working. So probably next time don’t meet by that door for 20 minutes while people wait. However, no big deal I take my food. They forget to put the utensils since I had check marked that. Now I almost would not have gotten mad at anything because the grilled salmon and the broccoli were well cooked. But then I ordered 3 side salads. Which is 4.00 each. That got me mad. It says when you’re ordering what comes on that salad. But instead I got cut lettuce and crackers. Yes I said crackers. Not croutons - crackers. Literally that’s the salad. And I ordered 2 caesar and one house with ranch dressing. That Caesar dressing is terrible. No one usually can get Caesar salad wrong. But trust me - don’t get the Caesar salad. And seriously- soup comes with crackers. Salad doesn’t.

I normally don't leave bad reviews. I have to say I'm surprised at all these recent five-star reviews. My family and I have attempted to eat here twice in the past month or so. The first time we waited about 15 minutes to be seated which is normally not long at all but the restaurant was empty so we ended up leaving. The second time we did not wait as long and our server was good but the food was a 0/10. The spinach dip looked very old, my food was cold even after sending it back. My wife's was cold and had a weird what tasted like freezer burn after taste. One of the kids plates was good the others looked like a bowl of dog food. We used to love Cheddars but it's definitely gone down hill.
