Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in Amarillo is always a great experience! The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with care — you can really taste the difference. I had a Fabulous experience at this location in Amarillo. The Monte Cristo Sandwich and Broccoli and Chedder Cheese Casserole were AMAZING. So were the Complimentary Honey and Butter Croissants. My server, Laurie, was Outstanding, and a pleasure to talk with while eating lunch. Highly Recommend the food, the service and the fish in the aquarium.

Even when they are busy they try to hurry up and get you a table and take care of you and your group. Food is hot and fresh and I didn't have any issues. The key West chicken and shrimp what's amazing with the pineapple Pico considering I'm not a fan of Pico it is a must and the starting rolls are really good along with the strawberry sweet tea

Wonderfully friendly staff! Excellent food. Xae, our server, was wonderful and knowledgeable, dealing with my black pepper allergy. The honey buttery croissants were delicious! The food was served hot and timed well. My medium T-bone steak was cooked to perfection! My tiki island drink was super tasty! Enough alcohol but not overwhelming!

Very nice restaurant not overly priced. The atmosphere is calming and friendly. They have a small kids menu. As most know I also look for any nutritional menu information for my kids who have allergies. They do offer a scan and go menu that shows you everything you would like to know. Our server was wonderful, even management walks amongst the restaurant to greet guests. Their food was very tasteful and greatly priced. The presentation of their food is also very well placed. Lots of seating. In a separate part of the restaurant they have seating for their in house bar. They even have a separate entrance with parking for to go orders which I find very neat. Overall is a wonderful place to go eat!

The food, the service, the facility, etc is worthy of 10 stars!!!! Our waitress / server, Andrea was exceptional. Jordan the assistant manager above and beyond. This was our first visit and we were thoroughly glad we chose to come here to celebrate my good checkup of my neck surgery 2 weeks ago. WE WILL BE BACK. AND YOU SHOULD GO TOO!

First let me say that "tiny" Tina was absolutely fabulous. She was polite, prompt, professional and attentive. She was smiling and seemed like she really enjoyed her job. Okay for the foodwe had a triple play appetizer, then grilled salmon and shrimp with salad and red beans/rice. My co-worker had the grilled cheese with ham and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Both meals were delicious. BUT TINA stole the day and made it so enjoyable.

The place was busy on a Saturday night yet our waiter was prompt, friendly and took great care of us. The cocktails we ordered were delicious! Our salads were cold and generous with their toppings. Melanie was a phenomenal server! Very attentive and kind without hovering. Her demeanor with us and other tables was great. **we ordered 2 Ribeyes. We asked for Medium...but after the kitchen taking quite a bit of time, for a fairly empty restaurant, they came back Medium Well. It became very hard to chew for both of us.

My best friend took me for my birthday. I choose to eat there. Got shrimp alfredo. I asked the waitress for red pepper flakes for my pasta, as she replied with a no, her response was “they are picky with they're spices” and asked if i wanted paprika. No. I wanted red pepper flakes. I can’t add flavor to a greasy pasta with tabasco or hot sauce (yes she offered that too.) i was really disappointed with the food and even got sick after only eating a third of my flavorless pasta, and yes it was greasy.

Croissants they bring to your table are light and fluffy. The steak was the worst my hubby has ever eaten. Cheese on the potatoe wasn't even melted. Grilled cheese sandwich ok. Red beans dry. Salad was good but you can mess that up. Now the desert was the winner the cake was moist.

We sat for almost 10 minutes before a waitor passing by took our drink order. When our actual waitress brought it, it was wrong. We both ordered the 8oz. Salmon. It was super fishy, as salmon usually has a mild flavor. They way over cooked mine. It was so dry it just fell apart when I cut it. The rice was good but only had about a 1/4 cup as a serving. Food was severely undercooked, there was a red hair in my painkiller drink, and my server seemed to have better things to do than take care of my table. Awful service and I won’t be going back. It seems all Cheddars pickup orders are bad at all locations. They never get the order right and give you the order whenever they feel like. This location I guess they were having a shift change so all of them were outside talking while I waited for my order. I’m patient so 10 minutes late isn’t a big deal except when you see everyone not working. So probably next time don’t meet by that door for 20 minutes while people wait. However, no big deal I take my food. They forget to put the utensils since I had check marked that. Now I almost would not have gotten mad at anything because the grilled salmon and the broccoli were well cooked. But then I ordered 3 side salads. Which is 4.00 each. That got me mad. It says when you’re ordering what comes on that salad. But instead I got cut lettuce and crackers. Yes I said crackers. Not croutons - crackers. Literally that’s the salad. And I ordered 2 caesar and one house with ranch dressing. That Caesar dressing is terrible. No one usually can get Caesar salad wrong. But trust me - don’t get the Caesar salad. And seriously- soup comes with crackers. Salad doesn’t.

I normally don't leave bad reviews. I have to say I'm surprised at all these recent five-star reviews. My family and I have attempted to eat here twice in the past month or so. The first time we waited about 15 minutes to be seated which is normally not long at all but the restaurant was empty so we ended up leaving. The second time we did not wait as long and our server was good but the food was a 0/10. The spinach dip looked very old, my food was cold even after sending it back. My wife's was cold and had a weird what tasted like freezer burn after taste. One of the kids plates was good the others looked like a bowl of dog food. We used to love Cheddars but it's definitely gone down hill.
