The owners and staff are always nice and accommodating! We love this restaurant and have been going there for 12 years. Our favorite is the stir fry.

Been ordering from them for 10 years. Always delivered in a timely manner. Food is still hot upon arrival. Anything and everything I order is always delicious. One of the few places I van order food from and my kids will eat everything without complaining.

Food is always fresh, nice quiet atmosphere for peaceful pleasant dining. Really can't figure out why this place isn't packed with customers, but all the better for me and my dining experience.

I just tried this place today. My husband went in and ordered and I love lo mein and he love he love the rice. So we decided to get lo mein today. He said it was great and it was great to me. The orange chicken was good and the egg roll was off the chain. This was good food today. Will definitely go back.

Pacific Rim delivers food directly through the restaurant and let's you pay cash to the delivery driver!! I ordered Pepper Steak combo w/fried rice and General Tso Chicken combo w/ fried rice. The food was just okay. It's not like real chinese food but it was okay.

We really enjoyed this place. The restaurant is very clean, well decorated, and has a good ambiance. The staff was great. They were all very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. I loved the pot stickers and even got my wife to try them. The entrées were delicious and our toddler enjoyed the lo mein.

Now that was some truly outstanding Chinese food! It was ten times more fresh and flavorful than the average Chinese food place. I had stir fry my way with garlic sauce which was decadent. Also had the wonton soup. Super hot and extra flavor to the meat and broth. Even the fried noodles for the soup were fresh. Loved it. Thanks!

It's all you can expect of a genuine oriental food which is delicious. My favorite broccoli beef, is absolutely a great recipe. Their menu is plentiful to choose!

I order delivery or take out from Pacific Rim at least twice a month. The food is ready very fast and is always so fresh and piping hot. The crab rangoons are hands down the best I've ever had and the main reason I keep coming back. We don't get Chinese from anywhere else in town because of how much we love Pacific Rim.

Pacific Rim is one of my favorite places to eat. I really should write "dine," because that is the quality experience I have each time. The food is excellent as is the service. If you are looking for good Asian fusion or Chinese food, you won't go wrong here.

I used the online ordering option, which I found to be well laid out and easy to use. I placed my order and was given an ETA as to delivery. An hour after my expected arrival I called wondering what had happened to my food. A lady answered: “Pacific Rim after hours. How can I…” I dunno the exact quote. I explain my situation. She quickly checked. Turns out my food was delivered to the wrong room (I am in a hotel on business) about 45 minutes before. (The D-Bag in the other room actually took my food! Checked my AMEX and he didn’t even leave the driver a tip!) The lady quickly explained Pacific Rim would get my order cooked and to my room ASAP. She did exactly that. No. Seriously. The lady to whom I spoke actually arrived at my door a short while later with my food in hand! There’s a lot to be said about promises kept. I’ll order from them again before I leave!

PR has very good Orange Chicken flavor and the fried rice came with it. The Hot and Sour soup is better tha ok it can be better. The watier is also nice and helpful. Good job PR, we will come back when we are in town the next time.

I asked if they had egg fu young on the menu. Waiter-- who turned out to be the owner-- said no... but he would make it from scratch for me! Man, was I impressed! And the taste was fantastic! Am going back again!

Best place for Asian food, I’ve found so far. Food was really good and was a good size portion and the staff was very friendly. I got the general tsos chicken and asked for extra spicy, I was not disappointed, but man they weren’t playing when they asked if I was sure I wanted spicy level six.

Pacific Rim was great. We had a last minute group of 27 and they accomodated us graciously. Service was great and always with a big smile. The food was delicious and well prepared. The restaurant and bath rooms were very clean. We will definitely be back.

I LOVE this place! I've tried it all. Everything on the menu is great, but didn't really care for the banana dessert. The texture wasn't the greatest. Fast, friendly delivery and they always give ample utensils and condiments. I highly recommend!

Extremely good food. We got egg drop soup and they sent wonton strips with it. At pretty much every other Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, the wonton strips are too thick, overcooked, and stale. It makes them unpleasant to eat. Not so here, they were light and airy, with a delicate crunch. Just amazing and delicious. The orange beef was delicious as well. Everyone at the table was happy with their lunch. I would totally recommend this place to anyone I know.

I find their food fresh and Pleasurable. They have Excellent Customer service recipes their are just exceptional one my Favorites is the EggDrop Soup it heals the soul. Their stir fry is very versatile and extremely tastey. Hope you enjoy them as much as we have .

The food is not only delicious but it is affordable as well. My entire family enjoyes coming to this restaurant and it is always requested whenever we visit Amarillo. My children favor the orange chicken, while my personal favorite is the Szechuan beef. The egg drop soup is delightful and piping hot, and the bathrooms are always clean! The owners are very friendly and often check on you personally. I highly recommend this place!

First meal at Pacific Rim since arrival in Amarillo. Meal was takeout. Lettuce wraps were absolutely out of this world delicious. Hubby had pepper steak and said its flavor was very good. He liked the fried rice as well. We will return!

Ordered food delivered. It arrived hot and was exactly what we ordered. Husband had Philly cheesesteak sandwich, daughter had sweet and sour chicken, and I had stir fry. All food was excellent and the sweet tea was good too. We were very impressed and will definitely order again.

We always love eating here! I get the orange beef and I think it literally changed my life! My husband also loves their Alfredo. We had our doubts but it's some of the best alfredo sauce either of us has ever had.

It's difficult to find good healthy food while working away from home but the Pacific Rim has changed that for me. I absolutely love their Keto meals so much so I'll order takeout 2 or 3 times a week while here. They also have the best Hot and Sour soup I've ever had.

Wonderful 3 generations Oriental Restaurant. The food selections are varied with multiple vegetarian options. My family and friends have been enjoying Pacific Rim for over 20 years. The Stir Fry Your way allows you to build it the way you want it. The appetizers and soups are all excellent. All the soups are fabulous. Lunch meal selections are generous and filling. There are several tasty tea selections. There is cozy romantic seating and seating for groups. Your meals are not rushed. They are wheelchair accessible. Take out and delivery are available.

First impression was exterior wasnt busy and seems like a older restaurant. Inside is nicely decorated. It has a cute atmosphere. So glad we went here. Everyone was welcoming. We were seated quickly for a large family of 7 that was great. Kids loved coloring the dragon drawings. We tried lots of menu items, and everything was delicious. We had hot and sour soup and egg drop soup. It was delicious. We also had generals toas chicken and. Super delicious light on breading which makes it million time better then most restaurants. We had sesame chicken, chicken fried rice and chicken lo mein so so good. Got the large portion on everything and it fed the whole family. Wish I lived in the area we would come often.

We ordered online for pickup and everything was perfect. The food was delicious and very fresh. I love how you can choose the level of your spice and I love that they haver a rice noodle option! We will be eating here often. Super good food! Also, not one thing wrong with my to-go order. Everything was there and they give you everything you need. I felt like great care went into packaging my order. :)

Most of the other places in town are not chinese food there Thai food that makes both. This place is fire 🔥. And there portions are big so lunch the next day is yumm. The staff is nice the place is clean.

This was our first time here and me and my husband loved it! The food was amazing, staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was so nice and peaceful! If I could rate them higher I definitely would. This has just become our favorite place.

I was always told to go here and finally I did. It's amazing! Very quiet, nice ambience. I love the music they play, it's actually pop played with orchestra Tunes and it's extremely relaxing. The meals are delicious and totally affordable. Very clean and well kept over all. The waitresses are very nice and helpful. I would be coming back (I actually just did😀) next time I'll bring my sister and dad. Some of their dishes actually sent me back home and they'll know once they try their delicious food.

Great food. I ordered delivery they said it would take 55mins but it only took them 36 mins, food was still warm. Unlike many other places around here.

Took my daughters here for dinner, business was slow and the service was fantastic. My eldest and I had the Stir-fry and the size of the meal was significantly larger than I expected. Youngest had something with rice noodles she enjoyed well enough (surprising considering she is a notoriously finicky eater). Another bonus given I am often absent minded they noticed my daughter left one of their coats and made sure we didn't leave it behind. Sometimes it's the little things.

It is one of the best places for this kind of food. The meals came out, piping hot and delicious. I go here as often as I can. My only complaint would be they need to put more rice on the plate to go with the mountain of delicious main course but other than that one of my all-time favorites!

A friend brought me here to eat lunch. I'm amazed how the place looked inside, I love the decor felt warm Very welcoming, the staff are excellent as well as the food. I'm definitely bring my friends here especially they would love the curry they have on the menu. Oh and btw there tea is very great as well.

Me and my partner took a day trip to Amarillo. Stopped here and ordered the platter(forgot the actual name but had the wantons, spring roll, and egg rolls). We also ordered the Hot n Sour Patel styled and the wanton soup (recommend putting the chili oil in it for an extra kick ;) ). Placed an order of stir fry with shrimp and an order of the chicken fried rice Patel styled. Everything was DELICIOUS! Wish I took pictures but definitely need to make a trip back out soon! Food was hot and loved customizing to our spice preferences AND we had a great server- wish I got her name but she was a nice blonde lady!

The service was great. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I got everything I wanted and more. The chili sauce has the perfect level of pungency. Fried rice could have been more spicy or flavorful but the chili sauce made up for it. Otherwise it was a great experience and will go again when I’m in town.

5 stars. Traveling through on our way to Moab. It was a delight finding this next to the motel. The staff wonderful, the food great. Darian (hope I got the spelling right) took time with us to make sure my foreign Vegetarian visitor, got a meal he reported as the best chinese food he had ever had. My meal was also great, I got the Orange Chicken with a side of Spring rolls - and most important, a killer Sangria (so the Sangria was bottled, but great nevertheless). My friend likes his food very spicy, he got what he wanted - Non-refundable killer hot (number 6). - and he loved it. Comfortable seating, good decor, comfortable temperature, clean fresh environment. Great service with several staff stopping to make sure all was good, and that my spice eating friend was OK with his meal (he was). Thank you for the great dining experience.

We stopped at Pacific Rim on our traveling from Memphis to Albuquerque. We chose PR because of the awesome Google reviews. Believe me when I say this... the food is on point for commercial Chinese food. My dad enjoyed his sweet and sour chicken, I enjoyed my lettuce wraps and my mom liked her spicy fried tofu. Customer service was good as well! We had a very nice server who refilled our drinks and asked a few times if we were doing ok and if we needed anything. I was late getting into Amarillo and wanted something sweet for my Birthday. Pacific Rim has a bread pudding on their menu with Carmel sauce. It was a half hour in till their closing time I call and talked to Amy asked her if it was to late to order for delivery, she said it wasn't she delivered my bread pudding and wished me a happy birthday. Our favorite Asian Restaurant in Amarillo. Dining is comfortable and casual, to-go is always exactly as ordered and the food itself is fantastic. Only slight fuss is multiple times we've had difficulty with their online ordering not working. Definitely recommend!

Very good food, great service. Nice people. Pretty slow on weeknights. I had chicken fried rice. For a small, the portion was pretty big. I forgot to order without vegetables, but it was pretty good regardless.

Food was great! I had the Stirfry Your Way and beef was tender and it was seasoned just right. Very large portion of food, reasonably priced, delivery and service was very fast. If I'm ever this way again I will definitely eat here again

Secret Spot Seems like we have a brand new server each time we go. I am not sure why. They always do a great job. And food is always hot and delicious, as well as affordable too! The manager is a very friendly lady. We enjoy this quiet spot every couple of weeks. I wish others would give it a try it never seems to be very busy.

We came here about 4 years ago and it was so good, we remembered it and decided to come back while in town. They don’t have it on the menu but they do offer tofu alternatives. The food is great, the staff is friendly, we got take out but from what I could see the place is cute and clean. Our only downside was the servings size. Maybe because we ordered just broccoli and tofu in a brown sauce as a dish but it was pretty small, if I had known before we left we would have ordered double.

Service was decent. Food wasn't as great. Used pasta noodles instead of lo mein noodles. Not enough meat or fish in the meals. Egg rolls were good.

I always liked Pacific Rim. I used to eat there 3-4 times a month. It had been awhile since I had, so I tried it about 2 weeks ago and it wasn't the same. I thought maybe I went on a bad night and decided to try again last night and it still wasn't as good as it used to be. My wife agreed that the last 2 times the sauce didn't have the same flavor, the meat(sweet and sour, sesame ckn) tasted like low quality dark meat and the egg rolls had a strange almost bitter taste. Maybe they have a new cook or management I don't know.

We stopped here for dinner. Had egg drop soup and chips and the chips were fried with old oil. You can taste it and I gagged after my first bite. Not impressed. They brought another bowl and it still tasted the same.

This is an average food joint. Although the menu did say it was "fusion" it still caught me off guard to see a Philly cheese steak sandwich option along side customary Chinese food items. Some items are labeled as out of stock even though they are labeled with stickers suggesting it may never be in stock or perhaps extinct. The service was great however! I did enjoy having the make your own stir fry for about 10 dollars for beef. Selection of vegetables is nominal. The portion size is also nominal. Better than fast food Chinese joints. I was also hesitant upon entering the facility because it was so large but with no customers on a Friday evening. Other than my family, two other customers were enjoying a meal later on. The experience was normal with no outgoing problems or spectacular surprises.

Portion size are great for the price. Service is a tad on the lacking side. Waiter could use some personality but other than that was a good experience and foods tastes good as well.

This was a delivery to a nearby hotel. 2-4-26. Altogether… decent. The beef & broccoli was just ok. It was a different sauce or ingredients. Not all that good. The General Tsao chicken was little cut pieces rather than your normal chunk bite. Vegetable rice noodle was good. If it was on a 1-5 scale of what you think good Chinese is, this is a 2. Took an hr for a 3 min delivery. Jennifer the delivery woman was nice though. Not all terrible. Just not very good.

Great atmosphere & great service, our server was probably the only guy in the whole restaurant so the man was working real hard. But the food is terrible. My wife and I got Lo mein & Fried rice. And it just wasn’t good at all. I’m not a very picky person either. The meat is very artificial tasting. Like chewy, soft slimy. Like really fake. The beef and chicken. The most real tasty meat was the shrimp. I would understand if it was a cheaper restaurant. But it’s pretty pricey for the quality. They’ll probably cost you about 40 bucks plus a tip.

Have ordered from them for years for takeout at about $50-$60 a week. Picked up our current order and all were missing egg rolls. Called and politely explained we didn’t have any and they said they would send someone to deliver them. Perfect! Only the delivery driver so dismissive and RUDE. Basically dropped them on the ground after ringing doorbell 10 times. My husband called out a thank you and the man wouldn’t even turn around. If this is what they are employing for service, we are done. Also, we’ve stayed with them with the surging meal prices and everything. What a shame to lose a weekly customer, all because you sent some rude child to deliver what they missed. Too many other places to order from.

I was hoping for a delicious meal from this restaurant, especially since it was my first visit. Although the waitress was super friendly, I was not happy with the food. I ordered beef fried rice and found the beef to be very, very unappealing. The texture of the beef was very strange and not what you expect from a dish like this. It seems like a place with friendly staff, but the food just isn't worth a repeat visit from me.

I will have to try this place again at a different time, if I ever do.. The staff was Awesome, don't get me wrong. I am sure the food would of been much better, If my daughter and I got our meal, before closing time, definitely was the raw end of the deal, for a late meal. The place was clean and welcoming, yet like I said, If I ever do I will have to try this place out at a different time. Thou I can say my fortune cook was sure good 💖

I liked the atmosphere here and the service was good. But the food... It wasn't at all what was in a description, chicken had bunch of flower, and other things like egg rolls and wraps were raw. We ordered tea as well but it was tasteless, but with good smell.

I have been around the world and this is an insult to American Chinese food. They should change their name to "Beyond Bland". Fried has no vegetables. Chicken chow mein has no noodles and the chicken is porcelain white. Don't go, don't even think about it.

I know there are certain rules and regulations due to covid-19 but i called to place an order right before closing time,in which the manager stated I was the last order taken for the night so I'm pretty sure they were in such a hurry to get out. And some how or another a mistake was taken down, I ordered 4 chicken fried rice no vegetables and when it arrived at my house I checked my order and everyone of the plates had vegetables I wasn't looking for a free meal I just wanted to be recognized on how service can be can sent out and they use the covid -19 as an excuse I dont want a discount on my next purchase I just want u all to know I will not be calling u all for no service it's sad that there are places that are using covid -19to get away with wat they want . vegetables and when it was delivered to my home everyone of them had vegetables I wasn't looking for a refund but they offered

I am sorry that this is the best in town. Barley edible. No peppers in the Gen Tso's chicken. Fried rice not really, just rice with soy heated up. No egg in the egg roll and no meat. Vegetables were tepid. I hope these are not grown by them. If this restaurant garners 5 start, Chinese food in Amarillo is in a sorry state. Didnt even put chop sticks in the bag. Terrible deal. Have a steak.

Made order online said would arrive at 6:17 pm. It is now 6:34. Called them and they said running late because of weather. There is no weather outside. Just cold.this was before my order got here. It was missing half of the order. Been 30 min since I called about that and its not here yet. No don't drive fast but be efficient. We won't order from. You any more we thought ordering out would help your business in these hard times but evidently you could careless about the quality of your service

Ordered in tonight and we were seriously unimpressed with all of our dinners. The orange chicken was soggy, the fried rice was bland, and the beef was so wet and squishy that it didn't even taste like meat, and to top it all off...our dinner of 2 entrees was 25 dollars. Pretty pricy for gross food.

We have been ordering food every week for about 7 months. Never had a problem but just now they messed up a order we called and she wanted to charge us for their mistakes. And told us if we dont like it go somewhere else. We eat here alot. Spend alot of money here. I dont understand why would risk losing royal customers. Horrible customer service. I guess she was having a bad day. The food is great tho.

This used to be a great place for Asian food in Amarillo. Not so much the case anymore. I'm not sure what happened but the last few times we have eaten here the food was tasteless and completely bland. Like there was no seasoning in or on anything at all. The meat was tasteless and rubbery. Almost like it was from a can. Unfortunately this will be the last time we eat at Pacific Rim. There are much better choices in Amarillo that stay true and authentic. This is just not one of those places.

For the price of $32 for just a combination fried rice, a chicken fried rice, and 6 egg rolls, the food was really dry. Our vegtables were not even cooked with or into the food, and the meet was just thrown in there. Defiantly does NOT taste like real Thai or Chinese food. It taste like the boxed Chinese food at Wal-Mart or something. Would not recommend to anyone for sure! And this was my first time eating here. But delivery was fast. Try Thai town. They have better prices for better quality. Js..

It just goes to show everyone that has common sense can obviously see how much time you have on your hands because it's been 5 months ago since I experienced the worst customer service from an owner that couldn't care less about your opinion. Mediocre at best. Had to return the sesame chicken. Tasted like it was rotten when they cooked it. They did an exchange for some other food and the beef was as chewy as rubber. The broccoli was good and the flavor was good. My wife's rice was okay. Overall it was alright at best. Anyone who thinks this is great Chinese food has never had great Chinese food.

Since you want to be rude ill tell you why you get 1 star. If I could give a zero I would have. The restraunt itself is very expensive for mediocre food. We ordered several things and didn't get half of what we ordered when we tried to remedy this situation or at least get a refund the assistant was both rude and kept telling us we were wrong even as we showed them where on the menu we ordered from, when they then said we were lying just to get more food or a refund. I ordered the angel hair noodles and got literal spaghetti instead of angel hair. As a Thai restraunt I assumed they would know the difference between pastas, but apparently not. The food was cold by the time we got it. The health inspectors have given them bad ratings. I would not recommend this food to my worst enemies. Terrible service. Terrible food. Well not go back, and recommend others to do the same.

My husband and I came for lunch on Thursday, right around 1 o’clock. There were maybe four other tables already seated and taken care of, and it appeared that there were two servers working at the time (not busy and no excuse for the horrible service). After being seated, we needed an additional moment to look over the menu, but we did order an appetizer at this point. After ordering the appetizer our server completely forgot about us for at least 10 additional minutes. We got to listen to her discuss her dental filling falling out and her having to go to the dentist very loudly with another table before I ended up waving her down to take our order. When she came up to our table, she said “ Oh, is it your turn to order?” And I said I hope so because we have been waiting (and no one else had come in). I tried to order mixed vegetables in addition to my dish, and it seemed to be very confusing for our waitress, So I ended up just ordering the plate of orange chicken how it came. After this interaction it seemed our waitress decided she was done taking care of us and her attitude got weird. She brought us our soups, another waitress brought our food. We never received our appetizer, as our original waitress said the kitchen “didn’t get it,” And I ended up sending my food back because the orange chicken that was supposed be crispy (I asked and she confirmed it should be crispy) was soggy and honestly the worst I’ve had anywhere in town. Our waitress took this off of our bill, but the customer service skills are absolutely lacking. There was no apology or attempts to try to make anything better. My husband and I even ate off the same plate for the rest of our dining experience. Our waitress never came and refilled our waters. I even put my EMPTY glass on the EDGE of the table, which she walked by multiple times but didn’t seem to care. We had originally planned to spend about $60 on this lunch visit, but ended up spending only the cost of the one item (about $19). I haven’t had a Dining experience this poor both in quality of food and service in a very long time. I even said to our waitress “This has been a very weird experience” and she walked off! We will not be returning. The Szechuan beef was OK, but the pieces of meat were insanely small and it was mostly sauce and veggies. Ironically, our waitress walked through to the kitchen right as I was taking a picture of my empty glass on the corner of the table. Don’t waste your money here!!

Boorish staff and Rude Owner. I imagine owning a restaurant is difficult, but it has been made clear that some people just don't have what it takes it have provide quality in any sense.

Would not recommend ever. Ordered YEYE soup, there was no celery, no mushrooms and zero flavor. Asked for some seasoning and was offered salt and pepper. Tasted like bread water. Chicken fried rice also no. The chicken was rubbery. The only good thing was the egg rolls and crab ragoons. Also the sweet and sour sauce tastes like BBQ sauce. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly.

Awful customer service. I was looking for a new "spot" for Chinese cuisine and found this one. Eating out is a treat for me, so I take care to read the reviews- specifically one where another customer complained about the quality of his order. They had written back with a response of something like "if you had let us know, we could've fixed this for you!" (This is important) The reviews talking about the general tso's and orange chicken are what really got me excited. So when I come to find out my order was wrong (they gave me fried rice instead of steamed, and sesame chicken instead of orange) and i called to have them fix it, the lady on the other side of the phone was extremely rude. only able to offer me driving 30 min to come back for a little pat of steamed rice, as she wasnt convinced that my orange chicken order was incorrect. (It was wrong.) ive been in the food industry for a long time and i made sure to let her know before she got snippy with me that mistakes happen, and thats okay, i understand ETC. its when she started raising her voice at me and arguing about what I said when I placed the order that i just said "maam, its fine. don't even worry about it if yall dont wanna fix it" I wanna note, I was not very polite to the end of this call, because of the lack of decorum on her part, and raising her voice at me FIRST. ridiculous. You deserve it at that point yanno. I was literally just trying to get this fixed. I didn't care if it was a refund, or gift card, or what. But one scoop of rice??? Not worth my 40$ meal being incorrect. Like I said I only get to eat out very once in a while and it's def a treat to try new places. I would have not made the mistake of putting the order in wrong in the first place. I know what it's like to have a customer irritated with you after a long day and I try my best to avoid having to even ask for help when it comes to my special-once-in-a-while treats like this. By the way, the value meal is small. The food is just okay. Two value meals and an order of Rangoons will run you about 40$. The chicken itself is just little soft puts of fried whatever, not much meat there at all. I also wanna note the guy I was speaking to before he was interrupted by the lady that was rude to me was kind.

Pretty disappointing and bland ordered General tso tofu. Maybe they don’t make it a lot for the customers here but there was barely any sauce and it wasn’t even the sauce for general tso it was a very thin brown sauce. Portions are pretty tiny as well. Will look for a different Chinese restaurant to try as this was definitely not it

Below the LOWEST PAST -0. Delivery man was late 1st, 2nd Hair inside the plastic spoon wrap, and 3rd One dark item which looks like either a dried blood clot in togo plate or aworm dissatisfied. And he called back and explaing what was wrong with my order .....and he said he was NOT FIXING it. Wow thats how this oriental restraunt runs..????Bad for business
