Valeria, Server #3022, was excellent. Finding kindly compassionate individuals who treat children with special needs with empathy can be extremely difficult. She was excellent; she made sure my son loved his dinner. We haven't had such wonderful experiences in an IHOP restaurant for dinner as we did at this location. In addition to being amiable, polite, and courteous, the other staff members were also excellent. Valeria is an amazing waiter, and I wish the manager realized how fortunate they are to have her!

I felt like I am in the movie of Back to the Future with the 80s music, classic serving of pancakes, burgers and waffles. Simply classic and lovin it!

The place is nice and clean. Food comes quick, no hunger game for waiting. Waitress is nice bring all extra stuff before we evening asking.

This place has great cooks. However, I wasn't a fan of the host who saw me standing at the front for about 10 minutes. She didn't wave to say "hi", just looked at me and then went back to the computer, then went to a customer dining, then went back to other customers, then went back to the computer, then she says after that long wait of me a staring at her that she will be with me. All she could've done was hand me a menu that I had to get behind the counter. There were two waitresses. Both didn't acknowledge the two different customers waiting at the front. I'm okay with waiting, I just don't like when I've been standing there for 5 mins, and I still can't get a menu.

It's IHOP. Because you're in LA, there are more options and healthy or vegetation options. Because it's LA, you also pay LA prices. Our waitress was nice and attentive. They seemed to have slightly larger portions than the southeast. I would dare to say this is the best IHOP I've been to in easily a decade, and I travel a lot and love breakfast.

My first ever burger in the US on my first ever visit to the US! Service was fantastic and a memory I'll never forget. I thought the food I had was great but I was trying to handle two young kids who had only got off the plane from Australia a couple of hours beforehand and were not in the mood for a sit down meal! Staff took amazing care of us and I'll definitely be back ASAP!!!

I really like the ample parking, the cozy location and the bomb pancakes. It can get crowded for groups but it's awesome to go by yourself or with one other person because of the tables they have. My server was really nice and checked in on me often. May be because I was sitting right next to the entrance to the kitchen but it was appreciated. These cannoli pancakes are pretty good. The cold brew coffee is kinda sweeter than I'd hoped but I did get the vanilla flavored.

On vacay and visited twice for breakfast and on both days amazing service. First day Brenda was our server and she was very polite and today we had Cesar he was the host, waiter and server . on 4/21/24, My husband asked me what I wanted to eat on the last night of my birthday weekend. I wanted pancakes! But I'm medically gluten-free. I called IHOP and they said that yes, they had enough gluten-free batter that night. I ordered a 4-stack with banana slices--yum! When they came, I asked our waiter, Edgar, if IHOPE had any candles. He said they didn't...but 5 minutes later he came back with a small candle that he'd found in a back room drawer. Then I asked if he had any matches, and again he said no. But 10 minutes later he came to our table with matches--which he'd gone to his own car to get. Wow. It may seem like a small thing, but his kindnesses made the ending of my birthday weekend the best ever. Thank you, Edgar, for going above and beyond!

We got there as they were opening , service was quick and prompt. We were in and out within the hour to catch our shuttle to the airport .

We visited IHOP and ordered the pancakes, Belgian waffles, and strawberry lemonade. The food came out fresh and warm — the pancakes were soft and fluffy, and the Belgian waffles had a nice crisp outside with a light, airy inside. My only choice if I am in Los Angeles IHOP never fails to deliver a satisfying breakfast experience. My recent visit was no exception. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly cooked pancakes and sizzling bacon. I opted for the classic combo: a stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes, a side of crispy hash browns, and fish. The pancakes were light and airy, perfectly golden brown, and drizzled with warm maple syrup. The hash browns were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, seasoned to perfection. This IHOP restaurant gave us amazing food, tasted great as usual from IHOP. The service was quite great too! We came in with a lot of people, so we hardly fit in one table, but without us having to ask, the waiter was kind enough to pull a small table for us to have enough space. Compared to other IHOP restaurants, this one is more classic-like and also feels a lot smaller. All in all, was happy with the service and thankful for the amazing food!

If you didn't know, this place specializes in pancakes (thank goodness the burger thing was short lived). This one had exceptional dinner food. Had several of the dinner meals and they were all good. If you are getting it to go, call ahead because they are slow, but when they take your order, they are friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something affordable and fancy.

As others have shared the customer service I experienced was very good and the local clientele are very friendly. One man gave up his booth for my wife and I since he was just by himself. It was very kind. The food portions were big and surprisingly better quality than I expected. I have only eaten at IHOP a couple times. It was pretty busy in the morning but they kept up nicely on the service.

Good place with a variety of options, staff is polite and helpful, it wasn't too crowded on week day and has his own parking lot.

Ate here recently and had a great meal overall. A small little IHOP with not much atmosphere but it was nice and cozy. The cook nailed it on my Bacon Temptation Omelet. Valeria was my waitress and was very friendly. Overall she was great. She checked on me often, brewed me fresh coffee, overall she was great. My only disappointment was she brought me my check without asking if I wanted anything else. I was actually planning to grab a milkshake to go - but she just showed up at my table with my ticket and said “I can take care of this for you when you are ready.” That was disappointing - so I choose to head across the street to Chick Fil A to get a milkshake from them instead. Other than this issue I was very pleased with this location, food quality, and service!

Brunch at this IHOP location was surprisingly refreshing. Convenient location to airport hotels. Sufficient seating and we got comfortably seated with a stroller. The server was courteous and a smile would have been nicer. We ordered the country fried steak that came as we liked it. The egg Benedict came hard boiled and was replaced. My recent visit to IHOP El Segundo left me with a positive impression. The standout item for me was undoubtedly the Belgian Waffle Combo. They were perfectly prepared, with a crispy exterior and a fluffy, flavorful interior. They were simply delicious and left me craving for more. The Hash Brown and Scrambled Eggs were okay. However, there was a slight hiccup during our meal. Our server initially forgot to bring our coffee. While this could have been a disappointment, I must commend her for her immediate response. She not only acknowledged the mistake but was genuinely apologetic about it. Her willingness to rectify the situation promptly stood out. To make amends, she offered us a complimentary coffee to go, which was a thoughtful gesture. Despite the initial coffee slip-up, I left IHOP with a positive impression, thanks to the tasty food and the server's efforts to make amends. I would certainly consider returning for another enjoyable meal.

The food was really good. The Colorado omelette was very satisfying, I asked for extra crispy hash browns but they were a bit undercooked for my taste. The pancakes were really good as well. The service was fast unfortunately mistakes were frequently made. However, the employees are all very nice and works as a team to ensure you're being taken care of, which I appreciated. My table was kept clean at all times and the space was just right, not too clustered or isolated. It's a good place to take a quick bit.

This happened a couple of weeks ago. June 25 (brunch time). Everything was ok until it was time to pay. My sister used her credit card to pay for our meal. And just when the server (didn't get his name, but he was the only server that time) was placing the amount, he already made a choice on how much his tip was going to be. We had planned on giving his tip in cash. We were running late because we had a plane to catch. Had we had time, we would have called him out and reprimanded him. You see we're not locals and our CCs charge big on international rates. It's so UNETHICAL for your servers to choose what percentage they should get WITHOUT permission from the customers. And may I remind you that tips are voluntary and depends on the kind of service the servers give!

It is been almost 30 minutes since we got seated and we still have not gotten our food. I think there is a shortage of workers. Maybe I will try next time if there is no other place around for breakfast.

IHOP is one of those household name, food establishments in the US. But the food and experience are bang average and do not represent good value for money. However, the food comes quickly and the service is friendly. I did love the pancakes though. If you need a quick, decent breakfast and don't mind paying $20+ for steak and eggs, it's not a bad shout and probably one of the best options in this particular area.

When I came in, the Please wait to be seated sign was front and center. What it didn't say was you're going to waiting a while. I saw customers at tables, but no servers/employees for over 15 minutes. The crepes were more like pancakes than crepes. The filling was poorly mixed. The food temperature was, though not cold, it wasn't warm either. The waiter offered to exchange it, but I was too hungry to wait, too tired to try to pick something else. The service was pretty good, but the food was not good this time.

Decided to stop by after a number of years away. The service has deteriorated substantially! The host and hostess was pleasant enough but the server was less than pleasing. Family who arrived 10 minutes after us was served first and when the waitress finally did come to our table, she barely adressed the oversight, never introduced herself, and displayed zero customer service skills. Talking with the manager yielded minimal results. HOWEVER, Valerie was assigned to our table after we voiced our concerns. VALERIE IS AMAZING! SHE IS A SHINING EXAMPLE OF GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We went for breakfast at about 8am (Sunday morning), and everything started fine. Waitress was nice, she took our order quickly and brought our drinks quickly. This isn't her fault (but i have to mention it), but as soon as it got busy, she soon forgot about us. I was only able to get 2 refills on my Dt. Pepsi, and when i was ready to pay, she was too busy taking other peoples orders, bringing their drinks, and trying to do two people's jobs. It sort of felt like she just wanted to take our order, give our food. And when it'a time to pay, we would have to wait, because what can we do? Get up and leave without paying? Anyways, once our check was finally give to us, it took over 10 minutes to be picked up. And after she took my payment, it took another 12 minutes to receive my card. Funny thing is, as we were walking out of there, there were a lot of people sitting, waiting to be seated. If they would have charged me, and given my card back promptly, those people wouldn't have been sitting there 20 mins more than they had to. Synopsis: Great food, good service, bad on getting us out of there.

Waiting to be seated for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged that I was standing there. Two diffrent servers saw me waiting and turned there head and walked away. Their were many open tables, so it's not like they were busy. At least just acknowledge the customer. Not the first time this has happened at this location. I will not be coming back.

Horrible service, if you come here past 1am you will never get your food. We have to come here because it's the only thing close to the airport. They don't have customer service, they are in no effort to help you, or even clean up the empty tables. Would not recommend to my enemies. We waited over an hour for 2 hamburger and never got them, we just left.

This was by far the worst service for takeout I've had, not only did they not complete the curbside service they forgot items from my order. I spent 15 min calling and waiting till I just walked over to get it from them but still had to wait for them to get my drinks, probably brewed it while I waited. Gave me my food didn't apologize for the wait and/ or lack of service. Get home to find no cream, no sugar for the coffee which she told me she personally put in the bag. Missing part of my order, stuck with cold food. I was unable to get a refund because when I called the restaurant and told them about the missing items, I was told because I ordered online I had to deal with IHOP instead of the restaurant. Bottom line dine in would be the only option, forget about takeout even worst curbside service they've set themselves up to fail. This has to be the worst IHOP by far I visited! 0 stars!

The table wasn't clean. Had to use unused silverware from previous customer. Waitress never checked up on me to see if I was okay. My t-bone steak was thin dry and tough. No condiments or coffee creamers on table but was on everyone else's table. I'm utterly dissatisfied. They should comp that meal for me. I won't be going back anytime soon. No thanks IHOP!

Customer service is owfull no hosted. Food cold order crapes under cool and no filling inside The potatoes no flavor and cold total experience negative will not return all advice don't wast your money for less than average food.

I’m honestly actually disappointed in this location. I have been to this location hundreds of times in the past six years. Today, My sister wanted to eat there and called to verify they were doing the kids free today and we were told it’s not happening Anymore. I didn’t call because I assumed it was still happening as it’s been all over social media. But I’m glad she called to verify because I wouldn’t have it would’ve been terribly upset. What’s even crazier is the fact that all of the surrounding locations (Torrance, Westchester, Inglewood, and Marina del Rey) are all participating in it. One of those four locations said they were unsure but they will honor it. Rather than the young gentleman stating the same, he was too busy trying to figure out who Gave Kids free a couple of weeks ago because that person was not supposed to do that. I told him the fact that he’s even asking me to get someone in trouble Is unsettling. And honestly, knowing that they did something so kind actually would’ve made me come back again but the way he handled this was just sad. I understand that there’s policies and procedures, but when all of the locations are doing it But yours is questionable. It definitely solidified that this location is not for me and I hope people with families can see that. Everything is really expensive right now, and the fact that this is all on social media helping families be able to go out to eat and still bring their kids and you have some people who just don’t want to partake and would rather figure out who did a nice thing….. what a great world we live in. Just know before going to this location, that there are four surrounding restaurants That partake in the buy an entrée and your kid is free.

Service and food is everything! How can you enjoy a simple meal when u have a horrible waiter?! Kept asking for water 3~4 times before getting a glass. Cleaning table and picking up creamers before we even finish our coffee.. and ofc demanding a good 18% tips?!

Don’t order any of their steaks. They taste like hamburgers, specifically at this location. No bread or butter was offered as complimentary. The broccoli tasted old and like it had been in the freezer for a couple of weeks. Salsa was old and tasteless. I started feeling sick a couple of hours later after eating here. Not recommended. If you are looking for pasta or anything like a steak I would recommend going to Ralph’s which is just in the opposite side of the street or doing El Pollo Loco.
