Olive Garden Escondido Reviews
The young man that was our waiter was exceptionally awesome. I can't remember his name very hard to pronounce the last name. But he was very, very good at his job. And good job for you guys hiring him
Been a minute since I have eaten at Olive Garden. Had a early birthday lunch and everything was perfect! The salad is always fresh and delicious! The breadsticks are always crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside! The seafood scampi was awesome! and of course a cold Stella.
Haven't been in an OG restaurant for years now. I know, it's not "authentic" Italian cuisine (as some say) but it's THEIR version of it and y'kno, it's pretty good! I'd forgot about the fresh, crisp salad and the warm, skinny rolls. I had shrimp scampi w/angel hair pasta and it was perfectly cooked (shrimp not overcooked/rubbery). Everyone at our table was satisfied with their own dish, too.
Always friendly service at the Escondido location. Special shout out to Paige for being absolutely incredible. It seemed very busy and she handled it with grace and continued to check in with our table and had a smile and friendly demeanor throughout our whole visit.
My family went on 1/12 and it was a very pleasant experience. Starting from the Hostess to our waitress and food. It was a busy day and our waitress kept us updating on our wait times for our food. She even chatted with us for a bit which i think elevated the experience. Kaitlyn was our waitress and i think she was the best we’ve ever had across restaurants in the area. Thank you again for a lovely evening.
Wonderful, quiet place to stop for a late lunch. It wasn't busy but they only had 3 servers that day so we had a short wait. Our waitress was Wonderful! She took our orders and brought us our drinks and food pretty quickly. She was so nice and got our orders just right. She even put extra olives in the salad because I asked her to put the onions and the hot peppers on the side. How nice! I highly recommend this place on a week day. In the evening and weekends it is more crowded and the wait is a lot longer.
I went here to redeem a gift card on 3/21/25. The girl working the to go counter was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good also. Positive experience.
Trevor Harris is a awesome Manager, great leadership and awesome person. I sincerely appreciate this good Man customer service and his professional attitude. Thank you so very much for your kindness.
First of all, the food was excellent. The real highlight of the night was the service we received from Sarah. She was attentive and frequently checked on how we were doing. She refilled our drinks without our requesting. As we were getting ready to leave, she helped bring my wife’s mobility walker around to get it to my wife. She helped make the evening a very pleasurable one.
Our server Jose was amazing! He took care of us and made us feel so welcomed. Top tier service
Big shout out to Drew!!! Amazing service. The whole team was great. Food was delicious. We had a party of 11, every single one of us left satisfied. Thank you!
Great service! We were greeted with a smile and seated right away. Our server (Ramone) was better than any server we had in a long long time! My steak was prepared the way I requested and tasted very good.. We will be returning
We came in at almost 9:00pm and they were great. Fast friendly server. Great salad. We both had seafood and pasta and an adult beverage. Nice experience all the way around.
We ate there last Thursday @ 7pm. Our server Christine was friendly, very efficient and welcoming. We received our order with no delay even though the restaurant was busy. We waited 5 minutes to be seated. The food was delicious and so the drinks. Even though it was very hot outside, it was freezing in the part of restaurant where we were seating and Christine and the manager fixed the temperature at our request. We highly recommend this restaurant!
My server Paige did an amazing job today! She was very helpful with the items on the menu and always accompanied me frequently to make sure I was doing okay. Food tasted amazing as usual as well.
Great place for dinner with my family and friends. My wife ordered Scampi seadfood noodles, and my friends and I ordered variety of dishes. Great dishes, salad is great, and the res wines are outstanding. We really did enjoyed our dinner there. 18 Sep 2019: Return here by myself for dinner and some To Go for the next day. Wait time is not bad at all for and this restaurant is crowed for a weeknight. I Ordered Shrimp Scampi this time and it was very delicious. The server Federico is outstanding in customer service and recommendation of dish choices.
Had a great time at Olive Garden! The pasta was cooked perfectly—rich, flavorful, and just the right amount. I paired it with a cold beer, which hit the spot. But the real standout was the Chicken Parmigiana—crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the service was on point. Definitely a solid spot when you're craving comfort food and a relaxed vibe.
Gabrielle has an amazing and outstanding customer service, definitely makes you want to come back and feel welcome
Took my mom here for lunch greeted by 3 friendly employees server was nice efficient and were served our meals quickly
It was my first visit and they were friendly and the service was good. We aet breadsticks and salads in while waiting for our food. All the food was tasty and not salty. The server gave us a to-go box in advance and was friendly until the end.
People usually hate on Olive Garden. Not sure why. They are consistently good food. Every Italian restaurant has its own style. Just like every other restaurant. I have enjoyed Olive Garden for decades and will continue to enjoy it! Still the best fettuccine Alfredo.
I feel like the food portions have gone down. I think they should bring back their original portions and perhaps give their staff a fresh clean training on customer service. customer service was not bad, but I think it could improve.
We had a party of 13 and two kids and had to wait an hour for a table, however, it was understandable. The waiters were quick to our drinks and we're on time in every aspect. Service was great, as was the food. I've eaten here for years and every single time I've had an amazing experience.
Great atmosphere and quiet. Best to go before evening since it does tend to get packed on the weekend. Food was delicious and our server was great and nice.
Came here to try my local Olive Garden and it was great! I dined in my by self and the server was super sweet and tentative, checking on me constantly! My water was constantly getting refilled. Overall good service. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti with the salad and bread sticks. The server offered to get me Alfredo sauce to dip my breadsticks so I ordered that too, didn’t know it was $6 for bottomless Alfredo sauce but totally worth it! The salad was fresh as always and the chicken was perfectly cooked! This Olive Garden did not disappoint! Will be back!
Came to celebrate my birthday, Nikki was our server, all we got from her was an amazing service . She's a phenomenal server. If you get a chance get her as your server. She's the Best. Nikki Nikki as my dad told her.
Melissa was so nice i really loved her ! She gave us good service , Had a smile the whole time , She really was sweet ! I will be going back and hopefully she’s there She will be my preferred server ! Girl ! Thank you so much i will always remember the great experience I was having. bad day and ur smile made me feel better Xoxo♥️
It is always good wen I come here. Good service, good dishes , good soothing and relaxing music. Always enjoy myself with my wife and daughter.
Excellent customer service from Chloe and her teammate on Sunday for lunch. We had a party of 20 and they were friendly, professional and quick to accommodate. The food was good and plentiful. The servers made it an exceptional experience. Thank you!
Gabriela, our server last night, was amazing! She was very sweet and made my mother’s birthday an overall, great experience. She never stopped checking on us and made sure everything was perfect. Will definitely ask if she’s working whenever we go!
We just ate dinner together as a family and had the most incredible service by our server named Foxy. She went above and beyond to make our dining experience very enjoyable. We will gladly come back to this restaurant and also recommend it to others.
Cameron and Roxy and Micah were professional and kind. They very helpful. Customer focused service of food was excellent and provided great customer service. Keep up the amazing job and James the manager was too busy to greet us today!
Food comes with a huge plate!!Amazing! My husband and I had a dinner date tonight. It's been a long time since we came to Olive Garden. I tried the new shrimp and steak fettuccine, it was so good! and my husband had the classic lasagna. And, I had the Italian Rum cocktail, perfect! Well, it's my first time to have this drink. Highly recommended to try. And of course, my husband had the Apple sour Sangria. Jose, our server was very attentive and with good attitude. Good job Olive Garden for the good food and service.😋👍
We randomly picked this place and decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did! We spoke directly with the manager about our vegetarian preferences, and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. A special shoutout to Matthew, who truly understood our taste and took the time to explain our requirements to the chefs. The food was amazing, the service was thoughtful, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!
Olive Garden in Escondido offers a satisfying dining experience. The food is consistently good, and the service is generally friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the never-ending salad bar and soup, though we found ourselves having to ask the servers for soup refills more often than we'd like. My wife had the rotini pasta with shrimp, and she loved it. Overall, it's a solid choice for a casual Italian meal.
Wow! Who ever the staff was Friday night 05/19/23 was EXCELLENT! I brought my hubby for his birthday, I would HIGHLY recommend going on their website and reserving table there . I did for party of 2. Waited about 25 minutes around 7:30 not bad. Our server Claire (I believe) was on top of it! Super friendly and recommend the appetizer (so good) & I don’t drink alcohol so she recommend a yummy limeade drink she mixed with sprite (sooooo good) This Escondido location is good! Packed and food was delicious thanks again!

Soup and salad were good. The meatballs lacked seasoning. The server was super helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I had written off Olive Garden because the one in Oceanside is horrible, but I really enjoyed my lunch at Escondido. I would go back to try it again.
The gnocchi soup was perfect for my 1 year old niece and the chicken parmasean was big enough for me and my adult cousin to share
Our server Tony was fantastic! Very nice man and completely on top of our needs. Our lunch and drinks were very tasty. I had the Shrimp Scampi lunch special and he asked if I wanted other veggies in it. Came out delicious! This location is getting a 4 because we weren't told of the $3 up charge for mushrooms and the iced coffee we originally ordered was very syrupy. Just entirely too sweet and thick. But the staff is cool and the food is great.
The food is good but service is really slow. They take a while even they mentioned pick up time in online order.
I haven't been to this place in 20 years, so I was curious when my husband suggested it. I wanted bread sticks & soup & salad. Hubs got the tour of Italy. Two of my favorite soups were a miss. There was a bitter tinny taste I couldn't place. The gnocchi soup was a hit! The best of the tour of Italy was the lasagna. The meat sauce was spectacular!! Very nice dining room. Service kept the hot bread sticks coming.
Yeah, the restaurant is leveling off versus how things were a decade, or even two decades ago. Service can be better, but understandable seeing how things are nowadays. Still, the breadsticks (when fresh) remain awesome and its a nice place to bring the kids.
The food was good. They gave us older breadsticks to start but got fresh ones later. I ordered a cranberry vodka ( Seabreeze) and got basically a shot if cranberry juice and 90% vodka in a tiny cup. The pastas are what you asked for. The waiter we had he was fantastic
The food is good. Standard for what you expect for OLG. The server we had was friendly and prompt. The only thing is I swear every table was a family with kids besides the couple next to us. When we came in there were even more kids and families leaving. It was 8pm on a weekday so if your expecting a romantic date maybe pick somewhere more classy. If your a family I guess it's the go too. Lol. It's about $20-$30 per plate for entrees.
The food was OK. Not sure why both managers came over to our table to ask if we were OK, had us think that something was wrong. Had the pleasure of being served by Ale she was exceptionally good on her short time here, she made us feel welcomed and always prompt in response.
Your regular chain restaurant. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara which tasted decent. The Chicken & Gnocchi Soup was very flavorsome, would definitely reorder this. We had to wait for the breadsticks longer than usual. The server/waitress was professional friendly. Not much of a talker which is fine by me. Overall, it was a decent experience.
Food was good. Server was good but seemed to be stretched thin, trying to work 4 tables and one of them was fighting some charges on their bill and it got kinda tense. I felt bad for him but ultimately we had to wait a long time to get drinks, then wait on the food order, then a bit of a wait before they came and sang Happy Birthday with the cake. When things came the food was good, waiter was great to us and the the happy Birthday song and cake was very much appreciated by our 5 year old...just didn't expect to spend almost 2 hours there.
The food was great as usual. Had the fettuccine alfred with chicken and the soup and salad. Then, added meals at the end with the buy any entrée and get a meal to take home for $5. The take-home meal came with reheating instructions and were just as good. Ate 2 dinners for a great price!

Haven't been there in a long time. Always enjoy their salad mostly because I like the dressing. It's mostly lettuce with usually two slices of tomato and two olives for that big bowl. I tried the spicy marinara sauce which was good and spicy. My topping was the vegetables which were very disappointing. I felt like I was eating from a bag of frozen vegetables. A restaurant like that should give a higher quality veggie topping. Drank sangria, it was tasty but a bit sweet for me. Service was good.
Gal at front was not overly friendly or helpful, but there was a belief manager that took over and helped us. Waitress was efficient but did not smile. Did not refill drinks or ask about soups. Food is always good
I like the fact that it is not noisy and you can hold a conversation. Unlike other restaurants you don't hear blaring music or pots and pans clanging around. It is very pleasant. The food was good and the service was excellent, but the prices are too high.
Went tonight for my b-day .. It was FREEZING COLD INSIDE !! !🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 After 2 hots and multiple people complaining they finally turned ac off Food was amazing, new server Nicole Did amazing job for such a big party we had ..
Ordered the food online. Went to pick it up and it was ready within 10 minutes. That was great! But the food, itself, was just mediocre. I suppose I shouldn't expect more from Olive Garden, but I thought it was better in the past.
It was alright. Nothing special, nothing worth bragging about. Took a while to be seated even though there was nobody else waiting for a table. Service was great after we were sat though. Food was pricey, and not justifiably. I will say the calamari was pretty decent if you can look past the over saltiness. Half the food didn’t get eaten and was thrown out taken home, thrown out next day.
I love Olive Garden like the flavor everything the pasta is so good but the portions are getting out of hand like I get the full size and it’s so little it’s INSANE it’s like getting a kid meals seriously it’s insane it so little like I hope they see this an increase the portions ….
Service was great, dinner was just ok kinda alot of salt. It was on a gift card,so shouldn't complain.
From the moment we sat down, our waiter, Jose, was friendly, charming, quick with refills, and willing to fix an issue with my meal, but the portion that the kitchen sent out was extremely small. A lunch portion, but I had to pay dinner price. I brought it to our waitter's attention, but he just joked about it and walked away. I'm guessing that one of your linecooks isn't very friendly, and our waiter had to sacrifice his lunch to make me happy. My chicken was slightly burned in the replacement entree, which has never happened before... It is likely time to do a secret shopper visit and have a manager retrain that linecook.
Not a good night at Olive Garden Escondido. I usually like Olive Garden but found this one mediocre at best. Upon walking in the place smelled horribly of sewage but not their fault as it happens. Sat at our table a long time before our server even approached us. Found him to be unfriendly and unattentive the entire time. Food was okay. Salad and bread sticks are always good and so was the calamari. We liked the chicken and shrimp carbonara but were not a fan of the chicken giardino. We we're excited that they had canolis and that they offered traditional, strawberry, and chocolate but to be honest they were the worst canolis we ever had!! We actually ran into friends and told them to avoid the canolis and they replied "We already know. They're horrible". Anyway the food is the food and we probably just ordered the wrong things but I definitely like the other Olive Garden restaurants better in terms of service
When we got there the front entrance was under construction. The wait was not bad to be seated. The service was not great we waited for a server to take our order, but I have a lot of patience so I didn't make a big deal about it I just wanted to enjoy my night. I ordered a glass of wine but they were out of a couple of bottles of wine that I had requested, finally found one that I could enjoy, but it took forever for them to bring it to me. Once the food got to the table I was happy because the food was delicious. Then we waited again for desert. I ordered a bottle of wine to take home and gave a good tip to the last server that helped us.
In the middle of the weekday, I came over total 5 people. They see us and ask how many of you!? Ok maybe she think I have more people outside! Then she saying it’s will be 30 minutes wait. In looks like empty restaurant. 30 minutes wait where? Outside or in lobby, not even at the table. This is dumb. Better eat at home;) thanks
We came and were sat fairly quickly so that was nice. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating even though it was so busy. When we ordered our pasta, there was literal bugs crawling around in the pasta. We didn’t want to make it a big deal and scare everyone off but we deeply regret that now because it was absolutely disgusting. The bugs were small, round, and black. There were several in the pasta. The manager came to apologize, she said “I’m sorry that happened” and then left. We paid for what we did eat (breadsticks, salad, drinks) and left. Never ever coming back, I think the health department should check this out. Truly gross. Please take this seriously.
We usually eat at this location and the wait staff was good as usual. This location usually has a lot of children and loud families so be ready for that. The host sat us down on top of one of 3 parties inside of the giant resteraunt. The waiter was courteous and friendly. The food hat ants and hair in it however. I do not think we will be visiting this location again. Try the one in the parking lot with Krispy Kreme by Mira Mesa if you want Olive Garden.
Really bland place. Service was next to horrible, food was like warm or worse and the staff seemed overwhelmed by the simplest tasks.
I ordered an online order to go today, when I came inside to pick it up it was very slow and yet no one came to me at the to go counter. There were about three employees at the hostess station talking while I was standing there for 3/5 minutes awkwardly staring at my order. I know five minutes is not a long time to wait and I don’t mean to complain, but it should’ve been a very fast and simple transaction, and yet I wasn’t even greeted when I came to the door and I had to go back to the staff after walking past them
Wanted a simple salad and soup recently and remembered that Olive Garden offered this. It’s been awhile ( 3 plus years) since going to this chain and we had previously enjoyed this option. The soup was a fail. We had 3 of the 4 selections. The gnocchi soup had the Consistency of paste and no flavor. The minestrone and pasta fagioli were not great. On positive.. staff was good, place was quite clean.
"What a waste of calories", the wife says. Only two stars because the food presented in the commercials is waaayyy better looking than how the actual food tastes. Some interesting observations: There was no Cacio y Pepe on the menu. Thats OK. But, they did have a "Toasted Ravioli", straight outta St Louis. Interesting target demographic. And, despite what the commercials say, I never really felt . . . "like family". "I don't remember the salad tasting like this, it was much better before", I said to the wife. The pepperoncini in the salad was fresh, but probably the worst tasting pepperoncini I have tasted. Perhaps use a different corporate brand going forward. I think the breadsticks were about the same, except we did experience an overwhelming food saltiness that brings all of the flavors together. We got about two fork fulls into our main entrées after filling up on salad and breadsticks. The portions were very adequate, however the food just was not worth attemtpting to break through the wall for another bite. "Save it, maybe it'll be better as leftovers , , , possibly with an egg, or saving it for the dog", I said. The Gorgonzola Steak Fettuccini was very "gorgonzola-ie". Luckily, I asked for the parmesan cheese on the side. After dining, the wife and I talked about doing OG service by robot. Not that the service was bad . . . just not necessary. OG could cut costs and still deliver the same quality (to be defined) of food to the table after ordering from the payment/table-game tablet. A paradigm change. I likened this visit to similar popular corporate restaurant visits of yesteryear. Places that have picked up and moved away or other brand restaurants that are soon to close. The OG excitement has been lost from this customer. Generally and normally, large corporate restaurants would get 3 stars from me, because it is safe to eat. Not too sure on this one. The OG signature mint chocolates were still given at the end of the meal with the check, but only one per guest nowadays. Next time we see a commercial, we'll stay home and take out a steak. Oh, and BTW; the left-overs seemed much better the next day just without the hype of “feeling like family”. Dicks
I have a good and bad. I did a drive up order. As soon as i got there someone came right out to verify who I was and only waited about 5 mins to get my food. The waiter was nice. I have eaten at this Olive Garden before but inside. The food was decent which is why I returned but, this time a pick up order. The manicotti was definitely not good at all. The pasta was hard and when I got it. I thought they looked like enchiladas. Nothing like the appetizing pictures The kids meal fettuccine and spaghetti were both flavorless with very little sauce. I definitely will not be doing a drive thru order again.

Horrible. Took our server 30 minutes for my partner and I to get waters. We got our food first, and still no waters. Had to remind them to get water for us. We quickly ate, paid, and left. It was my first time going there, and I’m not going back. If you want good service, absolutely stay away from this place.
i had gone in at about 3:00 PM excited for a good meal, i was actively ignored for 20 minutes by two different waiters i just had to leave. i will not be returning, try the chilis next door! servers are so charismatic & quick service <3
The food was great and the wait staff and management did their best but every plate we got was dirty, all the silverware we got was dirty, we had to ask 3-4 times to get our silverware in the first place (we didn't get it till after the appetizers arrived) then found all the silverware except for about 3 knifes were dirty. We had to ask 5 sperate times for clean silverware and it took so long we got our entrees (about 5-10 minuets) before we got clean silverware to eat them with. Two people didn't get their soups (we had a party of 8). It wasn't even a busy night. The manager ended up being our server basically. Everyone was nice and did their best but again it wasn't worth going.
Just came to eat here I ordered the all you can eat lunch breadstick and salad special in my first round of salad I found a black curly hair buried in the Italian dressing. I was completely grossed out. I was offered a dessert complementary which I did not accept. Why would I want to eat anything here after finding a hair in my salad? I paid for my meal along with the tip because the waiter was super nice and I doubt she was the one that prepared the salad, but whoever did was not following food and safety procedures nor was their hair restrained It’s not often that I find hair in my food and I go out to eat every day actually, I don’t remember ever finding hair in my food so this will not be a Restaurant I return too!!!
Really bad service!idk if it was because my brother and I are Mexican or what! I know it’s Saturday I didn’t expect to be waited on hand and foot but at least acknowledged, servers kept staring like we were an inconvenience! Every other table was getting their service while we were just left alone. After 15 minutes I pressed the call server button and still nothing, the servers kept staring and arguing with each other on who would help us! After another 10 we left! That server needs to find another profession because he looked miserable!
Came at a busy lunchtime, and having been a Server myself, I was prepared to be patient. After 10 minutes at an empty table (no water, no bread sticks, no greeting, no nothing), the Server finally came over, but STILL didn't take my order. No apology, and went to get the other tables salad plate instead of taking my order. So I left and I went to their competitors across the parking lot, and got prompt, friendly service.
Horrible incident happened after having dinner in Olive Garden with one other family on January 12th 2024. Yes SHOCKINGLY we found many small GLASS PIECES in the kids smoothies after we came back home and tried the left over smoothie. The glass pieces were too small around 0.4mm that my kids did not feel anything while drinking. My kids drank almost half if it. We called the manager "Jeff" immediately to inform this but shockingly instead of taking any action he offered us the gift card to trade for. This made me so frustrated. I called again the next day and asked for the complaint call number and they gave me incorrect number. PLEASE PLEASE AVOID going to this location. Attaching the Photos of the glass pieces.
Second time going to this location in a two week period, the first time Jeff was extremely rude at the hosting station, which was uncalled for. It said there was no waitlist on the website indicating they weren’t on a wait, and when I got there five minutes later they have an hour and 10 minute long wait? Went to a different Olive Garden location because the Escondido one seriously needs management help. I’ve constantly had issues at that location. I am so disappointed right now. The picture I’ve included is from the order I just picked up, and when you tell them you want extra Alfredo, this is certainly not extra Alfredo, and then having to repeat yourself three times for Jeff to understand what you’re saying when you have full cell service, is ridiculous. It’s like he has no customer service skills at all. Will be contacting corporate as well. There’s a reason there are so many bad reviews for this location.
I placed a Togo orders. Showed up when I was told it would be ready. I’m guessing it was ready before that since our food was cold by the time we got it home. I live 5 minutes away. I got the ravioli carbonara. If it wasn’t for the bacon it would have had no flavor at all. The Alfredo was tasteless, the ravioli tasted like flour. My daughter had fettuccine Alfredo. She took a few bites and didn’t want anymore. Husband got the tour of Italy. The chicken was rock hard. I ate about 3 of the ravioli, my husband ate about half of each of his. Both he and I got sick that night. If I ever go to that over priced place again it will be for the soup and salad. A waste of $70/$80. It all went in the trash.
We arrived at 5:05 on Sunday evening. We had scheduled our group (of 4) and there was no wait upon arriving. That was the only positive thing that happened. After waiting at our table for 30 minutes without any employee even looking in our direction (the on-table tablet had been flashing for service most of that time. Unfortunately, you cannot place a meal order on it), we went back to the front to let them know how long we’d been waiting. We indicated where we were sitting and they acknowledged our situation but, after five more minutes and seeing servers approach other tables, we left. Look, we all know Olive Garden isn’t exactly fine dining. We only go because our 11-year-old son is obsessed with their fettuccine alfredo. But I expect that, at the very least, it will meet the lowest standard of any sit-down restaurant, which is actually providing service. We were never even brought water.
Such a sad joke of a restaurant trying to pass as Italian is just laughable. They have the AC cranked up in here when there is no one inside and it's not even a hot day outside. Food is unauthentic, fake Italian food. The music they play is ridiculous as well. Overall they aren't fooling anyone and I can see them going out of business in a few years.
Went the other night for my daughter’s birthday dinner. It smelled like sewage upon entering (assuming bathroom issue didn’t use so not sure). Sat in a corner area that was hot so air flow bad or ac not on very high. Party of 8 and 6 of the utensils were dirty so had to request new ones. It was 6pm so fairly busy but it took forever to get waters and the salad and soup came out very late. We kept having to ask for items forgotten or refills it was hard to get waited on. The food was very bland shrimp was $22 not worth it bland very little shrimp 90% pasta. Wish I would have taken pictures to post on here but I’m not one to normally give a negative review. Will not be back as this was not worth $250.00!!!
Terribly slow service. Lemonade tasted like it was made from those powdered lemonades. We sent the lemonades back and they still tried to charge us. Waitress didnt come back to our table for half an hour after we finished our food. And had to wait to remove the lemonades. Would never come here again even if the food was free. Food was pretty mediocre.
This was a once great restaurant chain but has drastically changed for the worse. The food is now brought in as frozen meals, reheated, and has become virtually inedible. I'm sorry to say the lasagna was worse than any other I have ever had. The chicken parmegan was a hard over-cooked hockey puck of utter disappointment. My son and I couldn't finish, paid and left. It is hard to fathom that a majority of restaurants are forgetting that food needs to be prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients. However, commercially frozen meals which are reheated are more profitable. No restaurant should ever sacrifice their customers loyalty for greed. Sadly, restaurants are closing everywhere for this very reason.
Unbelievable!!! What is happening to Olive Garden!!! Food? cold 👎 waitresses attitude and customer service?Horrible!!!👎 Atmosphere?!! what happened to your nice smooth Jazz playlist?! too expensive that you needed to shut that down too?!! 👎👎 Me and my husband went to this location at Escondido last night (Sunday-not busy) around 8PM. let's start that the waitress came with no smile and heavy attitude asking if we want appetizers and I said yes chicken gnocchi soup please and he said that's not an appetizer 😳😂Okay! what do you call the soup and salad you eat before food then?!! alright then we ordered a chicken alfredo and a shrimp alfredo literally 2minutes after I swear it was a minute or two after we ordered I called him and said if I could switch to unlimited soup and salad one because I mainly go for their soup as their food quality been low for the past few years. He said no I can't help with that they already making it ... 2minutes?! seriously?!! Okay then he brought the foods and guess what, they both been cold and kinda felt if they just defrosted them🤢 the soup was pretty cold too and we weren't the only table complaining about it. then he took them back and idk microwave it probably but taste like the worst pasta i ever had. I had Diarrhea and Nausea all night for this nasty food 🤮 will never go to this place again. we had a bad experience another time too but I was like maybe we should give it another chance but it looks like we just trashed our money and destroyed our sunday night.
I know this seems low but if I could give it less than 0 stars I would. The waitress was not there accept to give us our slop and powder drinks. The item on the menu I ordered was chicken shrimp carbonara and I had no idea the sauce was with bacon which I had no idea it had but all the other food my family ordered was less than mediocre. The drinks tasted like medicine. The least they could have done was warn us on the menu that it had bacon because of my pork allergy. I was nauseated from the food and the experience.
