Great drinks and the spinach dip and chips are amazing! Ribeye was good, not great. Bread complicated very well. Sweet potato was great with just butter and salt. Will eat here again and again but will try something besides the ribeye. Only down side was the people next to us playing videos loudly for their kid.
I am so pleased by my experience with Bella! She made us feel so welcomed and we had a blast the entire time we were there! We will be coming back! Oh yeah, the food was amazing too!
I really like the lighting and atmosphere in this place. It took a little while to get a table, but when we did, we got our appetizers quickly and plenty of bread & butter while waiting for the main courses. It was a pleasant and peaceful place for supper after my uncle's funeral.
I had a really good experience at Outback Steakhouse. The food came out hot and flavorful, and the portions were definitely worth the price. I ordered a steak with sides and everything was cooked the way I asked. The steak was well-seasoned and tender, and the sides complemented it well. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a good place for a casual dinner with friends or family. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking on us without being overbearing. The Server Maliya was a great server and she was very attentive and respectful.
Tonight when we dined in our server was lauryn, she is the kindest most helpful server I have ever had the pleasure of serving me. She was attentive and always checked up on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would recommend lauryn as the top server of outback! if I ever make my way back to outback at the outlet malls, I hope that lauryn is my server again because she is a sweet and kind soul. I love that girl! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Katie was an amazing Waitress!! Her energy, service and overall accumen set a wonderful tone for our visit. Food was delicious and made with care, with my group of 4 loving each of their different meals. Would 100% recommend this location, and 1000% would recommend asking for Katie! Until next time!
Megan is by far one of the best servers I have ever come across. She is so warm, attentive, funny and kind. We had such a wonderful experience and recommend asking for her personally she is a rockstar. 5 out of 5 stars!!
I dined recently at this establishment and had a tremendous experience, particularly with the server Kevin. Such a great personality and was very helpful and proficient with our orders given we had a table of six. It was a busy friday afternoon and not only was he on top of his work, we were able to have a great conversation. Will definitely be returning if I or any of my table is in the area. Hope to see him again.
Raegan at the Outback in San Marcos was great! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. One of the best service experiences I’ve had there. Would definitely ask for her again.
We checked out the online menu and decided we really wanted to try to Chimichurri filet. We were seated promptly by the host and hostess, and our server, D’Mire, was super attentive, kind, and helpful! This man is a treasure. The food and drinks came out quickly and were delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly! We’ve only ever had great experiences at this Outback.
Haven't been to Outback in awhile so had to come back. The food was great, chili was good but needed to be a little heated up. Our Waitress Piper was great and suggested the take home meal option. I ordered the salmon to take with us and made 2 meals! Will defiantly be back soon!
Katie provided outstanding service during my visit a couple days ago. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her warm attitude and quick responses made the dining experience enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend asking for Katie if you want excellent service with a smile! Also, the blooming onion was gas!

Absolutely fantastic experience at Outback! The food was delicious—hot, fresh, and exactly what we were craving. What really stood out was how fast everything came out; the wait time was practically nonexistent, which was such a nice surprise. And I have to give a huge shoutout to our server, Lauryn. She was absolutely stunning, incredibly kind, and truly made the entire experience memorable. Her energy, attentiveness, and positive attitude took the meal from great to unforgettable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. We’ll definitely be back—great food, amazing service, and an all-around awesome experience!
My family went to dinner at the Outback on I-10 and had the best waitress. She was on top of everything. Always had our drinks filled and our table was always clean. I will be asking for her every time we go back. Her name is Annabelle. She was the sweetest. Also I have to say the manager there Heather came to our table to see how we were doing a few times. She was very nice and sweet and made sure everything was going good for us. Thats a GREAT manager!!
Dmire made our visit to Outback Steakhouse unforgettable. You can tell right away that he truly cares about his guests. He is courteous, attentive, and always checking in at just the right time. He goes above and beyond in every way, from making sure everything is perfect to anticipating what you need before you ask. At 53 years old, I can honestly say he is the best waiter I have ever had in my lifetime. His service turns a good meal into an amazing experience. If you dine here, ask for dmire —you will leave impressed and well taken care of.
I had the 3 course meal- chicken on the Barbie and broccoli then cheesecake. Both were seasoned so well- absolutely delicious! The best Outback meal I’ve ever had- props to the cook! Our server, Megan was amazing- very attentive and recommended the 3 course meal! Next time I’ll take pictures! ❤️ I’d recommend the take home meal too for $10. We will be back!
Tonight, In San Marcos, Texas, December 13, 2025, my family took me out to dinner for my 79th birthday. Our server’s name was Thomas. I must say he went beyond the call when it came to making sure my birthday was special. He catered to my every request. In addition, he was an absolute treasure to talk to. My entire family thought he was an outstanding young man. The highlight was at the end of the dinner when he brought out a divine piece of chocolate cake. The only problem was there were no candles to be found. So he lit a cigarette lighter and held it while the family sang happy birthday to me. It was priceless. Nyokabi And Raegan were our waitresses. We just had an amazing experience at Outback Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our servers went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — checking in often, offering great recommendations, and providing an exceptional level of hospitality that you don’t always see these days. The food came out hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered, but what really stood out was the genuine customer service. Everyone we interacted with seemed to truly care about making our visit special. I love this place. I always sit at the bar and their staff is fantastic. I’m pretty sure Alyna, Bella, & Megan are the best bartenders in San Marcos. They offer great conversation and hospitality. Steaks are always cooked perfectly. Beers are super cold and food is always hot. I’ll be back… and soon.
We had such a great time stopping at the Outback in San Marcos before we went shopping. Bella and Meagan were the friendliest staff we’ve ever encountered. They spent plenty of time ensuring that we were well taken care of, and were personable beyond the average script you get at other restaurants. The drinks were amazing, and their attention was beyond comparison. The restaurant was clean, our seats were quick, and I would say this is one of the better operations in this area.
Bella is the best bartender ever!!!!! I asked is she could do a skinny margarita and she said "absolutely". Next thing I know, I look over and shes juicing the fruit on the spot for the next 10 minutes :o I was not expecting her to go out of her way for my drink. She went way far and beyond. This drink taste like Mexico! Its amazing, but dont go asking for one because I'm sure not everyone will do it. Thanks Bella!!!

We had a memorial luncheon at this location today and it was a 5 star experience all around. Our server, Lia, had great attention to detail and managed our large party of 13 people, with ease and efficiency. We will definitely be returning.
