Terrace Palm Springs Reviews
Okay I had really low expectations of this restaurant after reading some reviews but I had to dine here to use some F&B credit I had. It turned out to be a very satisfying meal! I went on a Saturday noon. It’s quite empty just a few tables were occupied. I ordered steak salad ($25) and it was amazing!!! The steak was cooked to perfection and the salad portion was generous. My partner got steak and fries ) ($30) and it was delicious too. Fries were crispy I couldn’t stop eating lol. Our waitress was also very welcoming (forgot her name but she had some tattoos on her arms). Bloody Mary was just average so I don’t recommend it. Other than that I think this place deserves a solid 4.
Sad I figured out this place had great breakfast so late in my trip. They had me at Waffle Benedict 🍳 The inside dining atmosphere is what you would expect for a hotel restaurant, but outside is way better. The staff is friendly and many of them have been working there for years!
Service was great every day. Food was fresh and delicious. Has breakfast a couple of time here.
Great hotel restaurant! View of the pool to the north and protected from the sun on the south. California Benedict breakfast was just perfect: taste, temperature, and texture. Prompt service. Highly recommend!
Amazing place to be in the service was great the food was amazing I highly recommend it if you are in town

Very good breakfasts while attending a conference. Mushroom pesto Benedict had great quality veggies and flavor.
Service by the swimming pool, beautiful 80 degree weather in November, and happy pride. It was so nice to be among everyone and in community.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner, and they did a great job. Quick service but not rushed.
Our breakfast was AMAZING and service from Jeanette was STELLAR!! A+ all around!
Enjoyed a fine, well prepared breakfast on the Terrace patio

Good service. We sat on our patio in the hotel room and had them! They have michelobe Ultra! My girlfriend got a fruity drink with passion fruit I think and said it was a little too sweet If you are just hanging out at the hotel I’m sure it’s great. But you should really go downtown to eat there are great restaurants all around LULU’s is the best!

Steak is way overcooked, stated 11oz feels more like an 8oz thin cut, but price wasn't super terrible all things considered.

"The food was a bit better than we anticipated for a hotel restaurant" The restaurant is located in the Hilton Palm Springs just toward back of the lobby. It offers inside as well as a small outdoor seating area which overlooks the hotel pool. The menu reflects standard American fare. The Kale and Quinoa Salad, The Omelet Pan are both good choices. The décor is modern with varied palette of grays and touches of bright yellow colored napkins. Service was average. The food was blameless; however, the menu choices were a bit boring. It is Palm Springs, and everyone appreciates an experience that reflects it! Bring a little excitement! But, if you are looking for a meal that is convenient and you need to stay near the hotel, this will be a good choice.
Service very pleasant. Average food and hotel food cost is elevated. Seating is nice overlooking the pool.

Don’t come. Food was okay. Waiting time might be really long. Came on week day morning. No wait to be seated. Plastic water cup served for kids. I refused. Kids menu offered but never came. Orange juice is so bad and expensive. One of the kids refused to drink it. Waiting for over 55 minutes we had finished all the drinks and nothing comes up. The table came later than us got the food first. The waiting time ruins our plan and mood. If you want to waste money and time with minimum service it’s an option for you.
We are guest here in Hilton for long weekend (Thursday-Sunday July 19th- 22nd) and decided to eat our Friday dinner at the Hotel's restaurant we set around 7:50 pm and ordered pan seared salmon $29 and for me skirt steak $32, after approximately 25 min while we enjoying cocktails we got the food to the table the salmon was good, but my food was literally non eatable/chewable feels like trying to bite on a flat tire, disappointed I waited patiently until the waitress come over and told him about the problem and he ask me what to replace it with, I wanted a steak so ask to replace for the "new york steak" he took the plate in same condition like he left it and said it will take care of it right away, disappointed but still patient I began waiting for the replacement, mean while my wife done with her food and I continue waiting for 30 more min!! so now I'm 1 hour in total wait my wife already done and here the new york steak arrived, try to cut the meet with a knife and i was in total shock, the steak was the exact same rubber texture I tried to let the fork out of the steak and it stuck there like it was a freezed stake that been throwed on the planche or heet in the microwave before clocking the only reason i can think why meet will be like that UNACCEPTABLE. So disappointed and hungry we called the waitress return the plate as is and ask why to do it again?! he had no answer he took it and left and was back with the bill in 1 minute, (which the food was served the same speed). When we looked at the bill we couldn't believe our eyes they charged full price $61 on the food I didn't eat like business as usual, we are dining about 3 times a week in all restaurants and never imagined to get such ignorance, full charge, not even apologize, for the occurrence. I'm a shame for Hilton and this restaurant in particular for accepting this type of lack to non customer service, even if I wasn't a guest here. Say no more. (2 stars instead of one because the salmon was good so I'm honest regardless) The receipt attached below. If you are a guest here or not there is wonderful restaurants around don't waste your time and money here.

Host wasn't very friendly. Seemed grouchy when greeted.

Came for breakfast and had the eggs benedict and a waffle. It was in all honesty the worst eggs benedict I had ever had, I wish I would have thought to take a photo. The waffle was pretty good. Ordered eggs poached medium and they were cooked less than soft poached. Completely runny yolks and very snotty whites. The hollandaise sauce was horrendous, it wasn't smooth and was foamy for some reason, and the flavor was extremely lacking. Our server brought our food and never came back to check on us at all until she suddenly brought us the bill while we were still in the middle of eating. Never asked us how the food was or offered to refill our drinks. Definitely will not be coming back.
WORST service I have EVER received. I would love to mention the server that took “care” of us but he didn’t even introduce himself. Immediately after telling him I was a team member for a discount, I was instantly treated differently. As someone who almost always tips 20% or above and works in a restaurant, I felt very disrespected. Our server was extremely and unnecessarily rude. Upon asking ONE question about how to apply the discount, he didn’t even answer, he just yelled “WHATS YOUR ROOM NUMBER” back in my face after my friend accompanying me already told him. He also announced to the whole restaurant I was a team member, as he yelled it to his manager for the discount. I felt even more uncomfortable at this point. The food, especially the eggs were amazing. However, the server never came back to fill up our water once until we were almost done with our meals. He only stared at us from across the room when we didn’t need him. Upon receiving our check, the server asked multiple questions about where I worked as if I was lying about my discount. After all that, I still tipped 10% rather than nothing. Yet, upon leaving, I saw him immediately show and tell the manager/host and other server and belittling me.
The manager was rude! She was an older lady wearing a red sweater on Christmas morning 2022. The waiter and waitress were excellent.
