Texas Roadhouse Buffalo Reviews
Been going here for years now and have never had a problem. Every experience has been great. The employees are wonderful. And their takeout game is on point!! Honestly, I think they're the best restaurant for takeout anywhere in the area {at least}. Instructions are always followed utensils are always given food is always packaged with care and everything is always right I've never had a reason to complain never missed anything never had any errors... Never a subpar experience in any way.
An unexpected surprise! Honestly, I walked in thinking this was just another toss your peanuts on the floor and chug down a few to many brewskis. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into this family friendly, lively dining experience with daily hand cut rib-eyes and delicious ribs not to mention the mouth watering deep fried pickles and cactus bloom (known to us Buffalonians as a blooming onion)! Thank you Melinda for being such a thoughtful server! You deserve a raise! Lol
First time going to a texas roadhouse in years and if anything theyve upped the game of thats even possible. If you can get past the worth it wait in line you will be treated to great steakhouse food with a reasonable price point. The atmosphere is perfect for any country lover looking to have a good time.
Great steaks at an affordable price. Always a long waiting time so I'd recommend you call and join the wishlist before you even leave the house. Went for my siblings birthday and was kind of disappointed they didn't do a birthday dessert but they did make him ride the saddle and sing happy birthday.
My family & I celebrated my birthday birthday there last night and we had a wonderful time & a great dinner. Everything wes delicious an our servers (Kenny/Christine) were very attentive considering that we were a family of 12. They made sure that we were kept hydrated and needed nothing! Thank you both for helping my children to make my night special.
What a great first visit to the Roadhouse! Atmosphere was fun and welcoming, all of the staff were kind, and the food was next level. We will certainly be returning soon!
Food was great and our server Isaac was amazing. Place was packed for Valentine's Day and he kept rolls and drinks coming!
It was Saturday afternoon at 4p.m. this place was packed! Found 2 seats at the bar, we like to eat there. Steve the bartender is outstanding! So I ordered a custom cut 20 oz Dallas Ribeye, ( yes you can do that but get your price prior) a man brought our steaks out and said it was a 16oz ribeye. Upon questioning they would only charge me me for a 16oz steak. (Fair deal but did look larger) my friends dinner was missing a side of chili but didn't notice it till dinner was over. ( it was crazy busy!) In the end Texas Roadhouse gave the Chili to go, gave us a discount, a 10oz steak to go as well and a $25 gift card for our dinner being disrupted multiple times! They went above and beyond to make it right! Steve was awsome, food was great tasting and service was quick for how busy they were. We will be coming back!
Amazing customer service, from the hostess to our waiter. Food was amazing. Our waiters name is Kenneth. Def ask for him. He's got a great personality and very quick and friendly. The table bread was unreal. Extremely soft and flavorful, with their garlic butter spread. The Ribeye was really soft. We ordered it medium and for the price point, this steak was really great. The baked potatoe was extremely tasty and overall great experience. I would def come back again and try one of the baby amazing tasty dishes. Keep up the amazing work guys.
My friend and I stopped here on our visit from Toronto. Jalee was an amazing server!! She went above and beyond. The food was fantastic!!!
30 minute wait on a Saturday night, not too bad but well worth it. Im the type of guy to never order steak at a restaurant because I cook a mean steak at home. Boy, was I ever glad I ordered the steak kabobs. Served over rice, cooked to perfection, the steak was FULL of flavor, served Hot, and we left STUFFED! The beer was ice cold too. Will definitely be back but I will not eat 5 famous rolls again. Im currently unable to move anything other than my fingers writing this because Im so stinking full
A classic restaurant that never disappoints. They offer good selection for a fair price. We love to come in for their bread with cinnamon butter. This time we had the ribs and tenders combo and steak and shrimp combo. Only downside is how busy the restaurant always seems to be, but we look forward to coming anyway.
Conveniently located in the shopping complex, this Texas Roadhouse is the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat. The wait time was minimal if at all. The facilities were well maintained. The food was prepared so quickly we didn't even have time to finish our salad. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. I highly recommend this establishment.
Stopped here on a Saturday night and waited about 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and attentive. We got the rib eye steak, which is always good here, and the country fried chicken with gravy, which I have never tried this dish before but was done just right and quite tasty. Even the side house salad and steak fries were very good. My favorite item, though, has to be their fresh baked rolls and cinnamon butter... too good to resist!
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We used the wait-list on their app before we showed up and when we arrived we were seated right away. Our server Kenny was amazing. He has the most wonderful personality that will make you smile ear to ear. He was very attentive and funny! My husband had the steak, i had the salmon and our little one had chicken tenders off the kids meal. The food was delicious and we even had left overs for today. Oh and don't forget about those rolls. So definitely. The atmosphere is great as well. Highly recommend this place.
we had debbie W as our server on 10/27/25. she was great!! attentive, suggested things we could need, very friendly. she’s amazing at her job. she really made the experience for us. 💖💖
Absolutely one of the very best steaks I've ever had. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff was very attentive and very knowledgeable in explaining the differences in my steak choice. I highly recommend Texas Roadhouse. Our wait was 20 minutes. It was well worth the wait. I'll be back. Thank you Mark
Great food. The rolls and cinnamon butter are great. We had a couple of ribeyes and a strip steak. All were cooked exactly as we asked. Server was great quick and friendly.
Caught one of their early dine specials and got the country fried sirloin meal. It came with two sides, which I got corn and green beans. it was a solid meal and definitely hit the spot. Considering I went on a Sunday it was pretty quick to grab a seat at the bar and to get my order fairly quickly.
Steak was great and cooked per ordered. I did a pick up and when I got there I didn't have to wait. They brought my food right out to my vehicle
Always very happy with the steaks and of course the yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. This time also got the ribs which we actually quite dry and lacking of sauce, but still edible. Got the loaded baked potatoe which also has a salt crust on it (love it) and for the first time a loaded sweet potatoe. Had cinnamon, a sweet caramel sauce i think and toasted mini marshmallows. So good! Definitely a repeat place to eat, but hopefully they are more mindful of the length of time cooking the ribs.
Hi Texas Roadhouse visitors; My recent visit at this Buffalo location was Brilliant💎 Big shout-out to Dani! I have not visited this location in “Quite Some Time!” We were so impressed; I asked the bartender for her name and Corporate contact information to contact them about Dani’s great service! Dani is a True Asset to the Texas Roadhouse corporation; Her Brilliant style💎 Thank you for providing such great service! Keep shining your brilliance, Dani! You got this, for sure!
It was my first time at Texas Roadhouse, and I must say I had a great experience. I wanted to be seated, but the hosts insisted on sitting at the bar, which is understandable they were pretty crowded for a Wednesday night. The bartenders were amazing. They were attentive and observant. The food was amazing and so were the drinks.
Great service delicious food love this place traveled 2 and half hour just for this place, The day I went was a bit busy, but it was worth it love their warm bun and cinnamon butter and the peanut to go. Thank you you will definitely visit it again and again. Taxes Road House. ❤️❤️😋
Cant take a picture. It was so good it's all gone. The Curbside pickup was super easy. On time and fast. The food was outstanding. From the starters to the entree to the desert we can't wait to eat here again.
Come for the rolls and butter, stay for the company, service, and food, then leave with more rolls. Absolutely fantastic first visit- the manager brought over a sampler, the wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly, and they really gave us the perfect experience overall
want to give a shout out to the crew at the front desk. As we waited for our remaining party to arrive during the snowstorm we asked the front desk for a specific table due to a 1 yr old. They were awesome and once our full party arrived the crew held that table for us. Thank you so much for all you do and being so responsive to our needs. Your the best
I went in to order take -out, so I didn't get much feel of the inside. I ordered the grilled chicken with sweet potatoes and vegetables. It was amazing! I love that they out half a lemon in my tray to sprinkle over my chicken and that the chicken was thoroughly cooked. I will deff order from here again!
We had gotten ribeye steaks. It was amazing. Tender, delicious, and overall it was a great experience. Management is very eager to please, and the servers were wonderful as well. Perhaps a little noisy at times, but it was Saturday night. Would recommend getting on the waitlist through the app beforehand.
I haven’t been here in over a decade and it didn’t disappoint! Went with 7 people on a Saturday night. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Very impressed with this being a chain and a Saturday night. We will definitely be going back and I highly recommend this location.
I can't give TR anything less than 5 stars because I love it too much but this trip didn't go as well as usual. Both guys got the big bone in steaks, both ordered med/rare and both came out blue. They sent them back and one was eh ok, still pretty rare and the other was still very rare. Sorry TR but yeah that wasn't a little oopsie, sent back and STILL came back wrong, arghhhhh. Sucks to give a bad review because I rarely do but I have to be honest on my reviews. Doesn't mean we won't be back, and we drive all the way from Toronto Canada because I love TR that much. Hopefully next trip over the border will be better. Ps, the manager took one glance at the steak and said, nothing more needs said, i see it and he took 1 steak off the bill, eh that big a mistake it should have been more but we didn't want to make a fuss and didn't make a big deal about the other steak, that's on us. Oh and yes everything else was delicious.
Overall had a good experience here the staff was very nice and service was good. The food was all very good and since it was the first time we’ve been to Texas Roadhouse they gave us a free appetizer sampler plate. The bread was excellent but don’t fill up on that because the portions for the meals were very generous. There were very long wait times so be prepared for that before you go.
Made a visit for a Sunday dinner recently. Would suggest using the website to do the online check in since it was a little busy when we arrived. The rolls that were brought to our table were hot and fresh. We started with a cactus bloom that was cooked great. Both items were great. We ordered the 20oz Bone in Rib Eye cooked medium rare and the Salmon with rice. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a ton of flavour. My girlfriend really enjoyed the Salmon and even took her unfinished rice home she liked it so much. Our server and the other wait staff were attentive and helpful. Having the ability to pay at the table and not wait for a paper bill is another bonus We have visited other locations in other cities but this was our first visit to the Cheektowaga location and we will definitely be back in the future.
Me and some girlfriends came here for the first time from Canada, when we told them we’ve never been here they brought us a sampler of their sides which we thought was great, they all tasted so good!! The drinks and food were top notch! Very generous portions and fairly priced. Trish our server was so sweet and attentive. Overall this was a great experience and we will definitely be back next time we’re in the states :)
Super speedy service today. Bread with cinnamon butter & peanuts as we were seated. Drinks and salads were out quickly. Steaks soon after we finished our salads. Everything tasted great. The only slight snag was that they ran out of baked potatoes. I could have waited 15 mins for it, but opted instead for the mashed - still very good. So if you want good food in a festive atmosphere, this is a great choice. It does tend to be a bit loud. This one seemed particularly so. This location also has the option of outdoor seating which is a nice plus.
Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday just a couple minutes past noon. We were seated right away, no waiting. The sweet rolls were really good and we enjoyed the cinnamon sugar butter on them also. Our food arrived in a timely fashion, and was hot and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
I need to start by saying how great the staff and service was. The food arrived quickly and we were well taken care off. The food is as good as I remember as the last time I had Texas Roadhouse was more than 4 years ago. It was a fun experience as well as I got to play trivia with people in different locations. Looking forward to the next time we eat here.
Absolutely delicious! We were greeted and sat within minutes, regardless of how busy it was. Warm dinner rolls served with a delicious honey cinnamon butter. Plenty of tvs, helps put the phones away during a nice dinner! Great service by our server “Ward” Very attentive and professional. I will definitely be back! And by the sounds of it in that place, it seems like a great location to plan your next birthday party! There was a birthday going on while we were there and it seemed like they were having an amazing time! The food overall was very good! Such a comfortable atmosphere!

Returned to this awesome restaurant for dinner, which was as good as my previous visits a few years ago. We had shrimp and steak, both excellent. I enjoyed the 'peanut' experience they had before, but I perfectly understand the reasons for scaling it down to packaged nuts at the moment. The atmosphere is awesome, matching the food. The rolls are really good, so fresh and soft. I did appreciate being able to see the fresh cuts of meat, and seeing into the kitchen. Worth a visit.
Great food at a fair price/ Service was very good no problem what's so ever. Only problem was we felt like we were eating inside a freezer. The air conditioning was way to much .We did say something unfortunately nothing was done about it. Understand it was warm but we ate so fast just to get out of there. We are patrons of Texas House probably once every couple of weeks. We were traveling when stop at this one.
I heard about Texas Roadhouse before ! But finally I’m in buffalo and tried their amazing food ❤️ The food was delicious Wow what a start with some fresh buns and butter I love their steaks ! The price are really reasonable tbh as a steak house We had fried pickles and cactus something as a appitizer ! Recommending both Sorry for 4 star ! Because the service was little slow ! And the server wasn’t concentrating on us that much . I had to call few times to get the attention but all over its a really amazing place to have dinner or lunch !
Service was great from Carly. However, Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Texas Roadhouse. Asked for medium rare steak twice. Each time it came back medium we'll. Buffalo Texas Roadhouse missed the mark.
Dinner was great. Streak was cooked perfectly. Favorite was the deep fried pickles. Service wad friendly and attentive.
A very good experience but one of my friends had the butter brush thing on their food but other than that is was good long wait busy and very kind employees
This is a quality staple meal in the area, and I can always count on nice outing when I dine here. While no “downtown” high end steakhouse, this restaurant still cooks up high quality meats over the flames and delivers tasty homemade sides and very reasonable prices. My go to is the sirloin, but I’ve had good filet, and prime rib here as well. My fiancé loves their chicken tenders, and we both have no complaints about the various sides we’ve ordered (broccoli, fries, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, apple sauce, or Mac and cheese. They also have a great bar area where they mix up some tasty cocktails and margaritas- we’ve been known to opt for the extra tequila kicker a time or two for the margarita, or choose the spicy salt rim if that’s your thing. We can’t review TRH without also mentioning their peanuts and fresh rolls with every meal- you just can’t beat that. It brings back memories of going here as a kid and absolutely losing my mind when I got to purposely throw my peanut shells on the ground (don’t do that at home!). The rolls never stop coming, and they are also hot out of the over paired with cinnamon butter- also worth losing your mind over.
The music and atmosphere was wonderful. Our server was very good considering it was packed on Valentine's Day. Don't order a martini because they don't know how to make them there!
It was okay. Food not bad. Very crowded and not a fan of how you wait to be seated (text). Kinda chaotic! Waitress was very kind and attentive.
Food and service was good. Our favorite is always the buttery rolls, but we always eat too many then can't eat all of the food we ordered. Restaurant is pretty loud.
Got the combo meal of the steak and chicken tenders to share, along with an appetizer trio for takeout. For the appetizers, we got the Rattlesnake bites, the boneless wings, and the tater skins. These were all very good! The chicken tenders were disappointing but the steak was very good! The service was right on time and the staff members were friendly. Also, I love that they give you bread and butter with takeout meals. Would definitely eat here again, just probably wouldn't get the chicken tenders.

I ordered online the bone in ribeye steak with a side of ribs. The ribs were burnt and looked like it was from the previous night meal.

We come here often and it's getting more disappointing each time. It takes multiple times to have our steak cooked correctly (medium rare) or even the correct steak ( a filet was ordered this time but we got a sirloin instead). They fixed it but we were done eatting when we got the replacement so my husband ate while we waited. We were sat in the "patio" room where there are heaters every few feet. While it was cozy at first, we got overheated and then froze a bit when they raised the fake walls up for colder air. If you want more seating, build an actual room. Many people also complained. We love the food when it's done right but the hassle of getting to that point is beginning to not be worth it.
We’re excited to have our dinner as we celebrate my husband’s birthday with our fave go to legendary food and service restaurant But unfortunately had an unpleasant dining experience with this branch .The server at first was fine but failed to deliver great customer experience .We were very disappointed because we followed up for our appetizer and decided to cancel it since another server delivered the main course dinner meal . VIP club offers for my husband’s birthday was not served as well.My country dinner meal grilled Pork chops with seasoned rice and fries was such a frustration because of uncooked pork .Appreciate though the good gesture of taking it off the bill considering I only had a very small portion of it .Overall experience FAIR enough.
It's a chain. The food is decent although nothing special (mashed potatoes are great.) Service was perfect at this location and everything was clean. I have no complaints. It's just, you know, a chain.
The good ol' stand by. Steaks, ribs, rolls with cinnamon butter and baked potatoes. Hard to go wrong there. Worth the drive. Great wait staff. Good place for comfort food.
We went there in our return way from Niagara Falls. Actually, I am a faithful customer of the Texas Roadhouse and regularly going there in many states and I am generally satisfied with the quality and the service. However, in this branch we waited almost one hour to be served for the main dishes. I’m not talking about the waiting time to be seated. Also, the steak was cold when they brought it. In addition, the chicken that my wife asked for was burned. I’m not a type of client, « Hey, this is cold/burned change it please » because I didn’t want to wait at least 30 minutes again. To sum up, not happy with this specific restaurant.

Came to dinner tonight with a friend out of town and my son. It honestly wasn’t that busy but we waited almost an hour an a half for our food. We had no silverware or anything. Server asked if we wanted any refills we said yes they walked away. Then once we did get a refill they didn’t give us any straws back. I asked for Mac and cheese for my son with a side of fires, got the Mac and cheese and never got the fries. Asked for a to go order, the server forgot. I get servers have more than one table and everything but the service tonight we were so beyond disappointed. But the manger that stepped in honestly she did amazing! But I haven’t been so disappointed.
i’m not one to write reviews but the service was just awful, we came in for my mothers birthday, courtney was our server and our table was literally full of dirty dishes the entire dinner. i wish i was exaggerating, there wasn’t even room to put the dessert down, she brought out dessert, i asked her to please clear some of it first and she took one plate and walked away with an attitude. none of food was paced at all, our entrees came out when we were half way through eating apps and like i said. nothing was cleared one time throughout the dinner. the food was good but horrible service. my mom even said there wasn’t room on the table to put the dessert and she straight up ignored her and handed her the dessert. HANDED IT TO HER. we even put everything on the end of the table to make it easy to clear out of the way but nope. just stayed there the entire time.i couldn’t imagine going with more than 3 people, disappointed for sure.
When a man orders a beer, don't bring water then disappear. Twice Baked Potato wasn't done, little or no butter. There are other places to go.
The food was garbage. The ribs were the only thing that had a bit of flavour. The bread was sweet but edible. Everything else was no good. My steak even came out cold. Everyone else was finished when the they brought me my replacement. The server Teresa was excellent and that is why I am giving this 2 stars. Spent good money on terrible food. Also, they don’t put pricing for any of their drinks which I find really odd. How the heck do you know what you’re paying for a soft drink or alcoholic beverage? Not cool. Definitely NOT recommended. Make sure to follow me!
Food was mediocre. Broccoli and carrots looked canned and overcooked. Very small portion. Sirloin was not what i expected from a steakhouse. We waited about 40 minutes for our food. Loud atmosphere.
It was busy. We knew that, they said our wait would be 30-35 minutes and that was spot on. We were waited on quickly. Most of our food came out, from a different server. They said baked potatos would be about 10 minutes. We finished eating. About 10 minutes later (over 20 minutes since they told us the baked potatos would be 10) the server brought the check, I said we hadn't got our baked potatoes yet, he had no idea we didn't get them with out food. He said he'd go check. Five more minutes go by and he comes back and says he's not sure how much longer theyd be and asked if we wanted something else or a.discount. We asked for a discount, they were out of mashed potatoes and there was a giant eyelash in the side of Mac n cheese we had already received. The server came back after another 5 minutes goes by and said it will just be a few minutes. My husband and kids had already gone to the car. I wait for another 10 minutes and he brings the check over with a $2 discount. I understand the sides are huge portion of the meal but at this point it's just the inconvenience of it all. I would have never waited 15-20 for $2. We spent 2 hours there. Our server was great, none of that was his fault. Two of our 4 orders were requested to be medium well but came out medium rare, they do come out and ask about that but we don't send food back, not normally something if complain about but with the rest of the experienc...
They can never get take out correct. Marshmallows on sweet potato were burnt. Ribs were dry, rib eye was cooked on one side but not fully on the other and had a metalic look to it. Food taste like it was sitting out for awhile. And some condiments were missing.
I normally LOVE Texas roadhouse, we came just from our trip in NYC and we were looking forward to get REAL steak. Food was good, not the sauce we are having usually, but ok nit a big deal. Waitress wasn’t too interested, didn’t ask how the meal was, busy with other things, but ok, maybe she was into the closing mood already - what disturbed me the most, that we wanted to wash our hands in the bathroom afterwards and NO SOAP in none if the spender was in the bathroom. Therefore, we asked staff , about it and the lady said in the cupboards on top, but there was nothing there either. So they brought a little bit soap from somewhere else. I am just wondering, your staff doesn’t use the bathroom so they would notice that soap is all gone or worst, IF they go, they don’t wash their hands with soap?????? Sorry guys but in the food industry this is disgusting. If both of the soap spender don’t have soap it’s really disgusting and it questions the hygiene of that restaurant which is a no-go. Where is the manager? No one checks the cleanliness of the bathrooms if there is soap? It’s even disgusting if guests can’t wash their hands (because they can’t ) and touch everything in your restaurant. No staff goes to the bathroom and reports that they can’t wash their hands after using the bathroom? ALL soap was empty. This never ever happened to me anywhere else before and sorry after a pandemic we used to have, this is insane. Absolutely ridiculous!
December 2025 just the two of us, for the first time and Our Caesar said was rusty , the blooming onion was hot and fresh. My baked potato was Undercooked and still hard and my steak was properly cooked BUT came out barely warm. Buns were soft and hot though. That was the best part of our meal ! (Sad to say )

If I could give this place no stars I would, but of course google reviews do not allow you to. Currently here at Texas Roadhouse, for the first time actually, and reserved a table of 10 at 450pm. They mentioned it was a 35-50 minute wait but we weren’t seated until 6:00pm. If it were up to me, we would have left and took our money elsewhere. We then were seated at two separate tables which wasn’t explained before we even decided to wait the hour to be seated. They mentioned it was nothing they could do to accommodate us. If you have a large party, please do not come here. It’s a waste of time and money. 0/10 highly do not recommend.
Waited in my meal for almost a hour for my food to come out completely wrong. Once I sent it back i waited a extra 25 minutes for the correct order, my waiter never was present and I was there to celebrate a birthday and was not able to do that because of the service. The owner came out and did not greet us when he came to the table he did not seem to care about my concerns I completely wasted my time coming here because I left hungry.
This location has the worst quality of food. NT location is much better. Ordered take out from here a few times disappointed every time.won’t be returning. Got fillet dinners both were not what ordered asked for medium got medium rare very fatty hard to cut. Rolls were Burt small and hard. potato was under cooked salad tasted old and uncleaned. All and all not edible.
The service sucked. Put your name in an hour ahead of time& wait a half hour on top of that. Put 2 people at a big booth when we had 4 in our party. They really néed to up their game. Was not satisfied at all. Will be a long time, if ever, before we come back again .
I would not recommend this texas road house in cheektowanda, NY. To begin with had reservations, checked in with the hostage to be told it would be 10 more minutes stood in line only to be told to get in anther line to be seated. Our server did not take our order correctly. Asked for a baked potato with cheese and bacon only no rub on the steak. Potato came with sour cream ,steak with rub. My wife steak was ice cold and her sweet potato was burnt. Sent her dish back to get a hot steak after 10 minutes wait time steak came back so so sweet potato was burnt again. Thanks for a disappointing meal.
My wife and I were seated and then ignored by the several wait staff while a table next to us were seated and ordered, several waiters passed by our table many times like we were invisible, and no staff ever took our drink order.....we finally got up and left....I then called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager and was placed on hold indefinitely .....DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE- Union Rd, Cheektowaga location!!!!!!
We came for lunch this particular location we were sat down. No silverware was given to us. We order right away. Had to wait about 40 minutes to get our food, once we had our food we weren’t able to eat it for about five minutes because the waitress never gave us silverware. When we finished our meal, I got a to go bag and as I placed it to go on the side of the table, there’s dust like not a little bit of dust, but a piles of dust where you can write your name on top of the dust. Not to mention our french fries were soggy my shrimp wasn’t grilled the steak was OK and so was the ribs. I decided to speak to management a gentleman came out and I told him about everything and he didn’t like what I had to say which was the place is a mess and he said there’s dust and everybody’s houses so when you eat at peoples houses there’s dust Everywhere. I didn’t appreciate that and we will not be coming back.
I'm all about the rolls here but that's about it. Food quality cheap and usually cold or undercooked. Cleanliness is not top on the list for this place either tables and chairs not being wiped off. Dishes and silverware look like they have been there for way to long. Service has been well. I just can not bring myself to come back to this place.
To start, we went to the restaurant yesterday and a few moments after arriving the fire alarm when off. It was painful because I have sensitive ears and I actually have a medical exam I have to take that specifically told me to avoid loud noises. So we sat out side hoping it would shut off sooner than later before we got called for our table. Once we were called for our table it was still going off and we approached the stand plugging our ears. We where not greeted. There was 3 girls standing there but where all talking to each other. We where debating on leaving but then they finally acknowledged us. We asked if we could sit in the sort of outdoor seating because the pitch of the alarm wasn’t as loud. After being seated it took about 25 mins before a waiter came out to take our drink order after someone else came out to ask who our waiter was to which we replied with that we didn’t have one. After we ordered our drinks the fire company arrived and eventually shut off the alarm then the ceiling fan outside started spinning out of control and everyone was afraid it was going to fly off and hit them. Eventually someone shut that off and we noticed it was missing a blade or two. We ordered a blooming onion for an appetizer. It tasted weird and still had the skin on the outer edge and just simply wasn’t cooked right. We also didn’t receive the small plates to put it on or silverware but it wasn’t necessary at this point (yet) We got a steak and ribs to share but they put them on the same plate and we had to ask for our silver ware (but no big deal because we asked for those small plates eventually and just slid the rack of ribs over to that) I was never asked how I wanted my steak cooked and because I wasn’t asked I forgot to mention it so partly my fault that my steak wasn’t to my liking. The green beans had hair in it. The chili was cold. And I Hardly ate because the whole experience was just awful and it made me lose my appetite. We where approached at one point during the meal by a “member of the management team” who happens to be one of the 3 girls ignoring us when we first arrived. She asked how our meal was and at first I said fine because I hate complaining. But it was the absolute worst dinner I have had so I told her the list of complaints (this was before I found the hair in the green beans) the only thing she offered was to get me a fresh hot chili that came out without the cheese which is no big deal but in the mean time I found the hair and again lost my appetite. I didn’t wanna compline more at risk of being a “Karen” but wow terrible from the moment we arrived. They are in some serious need of quality control in this restaurant.
If you want the wait staff drop boxes off at your table WITH your meal and ask no questions. This is a great place to go.
I enjoy giving good restaurants good ratings. Texas Roadhous has always treated me well. I travel a great deal and appreciate the consistency and decent food selections. But my experience this evening was quite a different story. The hotel had given us appetizer coupons. Knowing we could only use one, the three of us enjoyed fried pickles. We ordered dinner and were having a nice meal. Then, the waiter informed us that our appetizer coupon had expired. We had only ordered an appetizer because it was free. By this point in time, it was already gone. We asked them, given the situation, just use a fresh coupon instead. A different waiter came by with a new coupon. He showed us the unexpired date, then said we couldn't use it. "We can't just give you a coupon." We then asked for the Manager. After all, this was taking bad customer service to another level. The Manager (Julie, I think) came to the table and said in a very irritated and irritating tone "The hotel should have not given you an expired coupon and we can't accept it." I told her, "Ok. We'll just never come back." She said "fine". We (three businessmen who travel and eat in restaurants almost every day) we all agreed this is the most unbelievable service. We asked for three checks. We are three individuals with three separate expense accounts, after all. The waiter said "we can only separate a bill two ways." A nice young lady came by and asked about our experience. She was taken aback by our story and cleared everything up for us. Our waiter was pretty awesome. If he ended up with cash in his pocket, that's his business. We left $0 tip on the card machine. Will I ever go back to a Texas Roadhouse? That answer is "yes". Will I ever go back to Texas Roadhouse in Cheektowaga, NY? Most certainly not.
From the moment we walked in for dinner it was a disaster.... They place our party of three in the very back with three other groups of 12 each. So we asked to be moved to a different section. The Lady in charge of the seating tiled her eyes.... But we stayed... The bar tender was yelling at one of the servers because they put a glass on the bar after it was just cleaned... The mac and cheese was cold, the salads had Brown lettuce and the steak was full of fat... Which should not be on a tenderloin. The only bright spot was our server... She was great, and I felt sorry for her. From her apologies you could tell that she knew this place was a Zoo. As we left the greeters didn't say a word.... Will never be back, and I'm trying to save a few from making the mistake we did.
We made a reservation and waited until we received the text we were up and to come inside. We waited about ten min for the hostess to come seat us. When we got to our table the bus boy was still cleaning off the table. Under the table was a ton of food and garbage and I told the hostess it needed to be cleaned up. She said ok and never came back. About 4-5 min later and no one addressing the fact we are all standing around waiting for our area to be cleaned I seen a bus boy and asked him to please clean it. Our waitress seemed nice enough once she came over and brought our drinks and one appetizer quickly. We waited about 45 minutes and asked how much longer our order was going to be and was told soon. Another 25-30 minutes go by and we ask again and also our drinks were gone. She said it has only been 25 minutes since the ticket was put in so we had about 10-15 minutes left of wait time. We said no we have been here for an hour. The people who came in at least 15 minutes after us has already gotten their meals and they had two more people then we did. Once our food came 4 out of five meals were Luke warm at best and none of our meat was cooked properly as we all wanted med to well done and the steaks all were very pink and again luke warm at best. We didn’t want it and asked to speak to a manager and Tori came over and was useless. Her response was she won’t charge us for any of the food we sent back! Obviously not since we explained our experience from the door to speaking to her and she only charged us for the one meal which was salmon that one of said was actually cooked right. We paid for the appetizer and one of the drinks to go along with the one out of five meals. Tori had a little attitude and said well what are you looking for then? I said dinner would have been great! She only apologized as we were leaving . This is the 2nd time visiting this location and the first time wasn’t much better. We had our 2 year old granddaughter with us as well and the long wait times was ridiculous. We sent our food back and sis not want to wait around for them to remake our food again so after waiting for Almost two hours we left hungry!!!!
Joined the waitlist online, said 10-20 minutes, got to the restaurant 10 minutes later texted that we were there, waited 15 minutes, then got put in a line and waited another 15 minutes. Server was great, wife ordered a steak with no mushrooms, steak came with mushrooms, 10 minutes after our table was finished eating my wife got her food
Extremely disappointing experience for my daughter’s 12th birthday. We tried calling twice earlier in the day and were hung up on both times. Since they don’t take reservations, we put our party of 11 on the waitlist as two separate groups hoping to sit near each other. The hostess was dismissive and repeatedly said tables couldn’t be together. Another employee offered to get a manager; a lead came first and tried to help, but then a woman in an orange shirt came over and was rude, did not acknowledge my wife, and questioned whether our party was present—even after being told they were three minutes away. No apology, no eye contact, no customer service. My daughter saw how her mom was being treated and was already upset. After we were seated (at tables that were in fact next to each other), she ordered the loaded baked potato—the main reason she chose this restaurant—and was told they were out and it would be a 45-minute wait. She started crying. For a birthday dinner, that’s unacceptable. We were also told there were no mashed potatoes. The table next to us was told the same thing. Yet two people at our table received extra mashed potatoes they didn’t even order. No bone-in ribeye. Bar couldn’t make Moscow mules or chocolate martinis. My steak and sweet potato were lukewarm. Despite informing staff it was her birthday: No birthday acknowledgment No saddle No dessert offered Meanwhile, nearby tables had “Happy Birthday” sung to them We spent over $400. I’ve served in the military and have been to numerous Texas Roadhouse locations across the country, and they’ve consistently delivered great service. This location does not reflect that standard. This was our second poor experience here, and we will not be returning.
While traveling on business with two colleagues, we visited Texas Roadhouse in Cheektowaga after receiving complimentary appetizer coupons from the Residence Inn where we were staying. Based on a recommendation at the table, we ordered the fried pickles and were enjoying both the food and conversation. Partway through the meal, our waiter—who was professional and courteous throughout—returned to inform us that the coupon had expired and could not be accepted. We asked if, given that we were business travelers and the appetizer was only about $6, a current coupon could be honored instead. Our waiter kindly offered to check with management. Unfortunately, the interaction that followed was disappointing. A manager named "Julie" came to the table visibly irritated and stated, “The coupon is expired and we just can’t give you a new coupon,” adding that "the hotel should not have distributed expired coupons." The tone and approach was unnecessarily dismissive and created an very uncomfortable experience for the three of us. As frequent business travelers, we collectively agreed this was the poorest customer-service interactions we have experienced in years. Compounding the situation, when we later requested three separate checks—standard for business travelers using individual expense accounts—we were told the bill could only be split in half, which added further frustration. A short time later, another staff member stopped by, listened to our concerns, and apologized. Soon after, the Manager on Duty came to our table, addressed the situation professionally, and resolved the issue quickly, which we appreciated. While our waiter and several team members handled the situation well, the earlier interaction significantly impacted our overall experience. Because we travel to the area regularly, service experiences strongly influence where we choose to dine. Unfortunately, we will not be returning and will also be sharing this feedback with the hotel and fellow travelers at the hotel who frequently visit the Cheektowaga area. I hope this is a learning experience for you Julie.
On recommendation from neighbors I went today 2.15.26 at 12:30ishpm and went to order the prime rib. Was shortly told by waiter that they had none. Wasn't even offered something complimentary as a substitute just a pathetic sorry from the wait staff. The manager should have came over to apologize for the lack of readiness and offered something as a replacement but the poor waiter stood there. I walked out because my point of thrle visit was the prime rib which was apparently non existent in a staek house... better demand planning and forescoring could have prevented this. Not happy at all
The service was poor, to say the least. We received food before even receiving our drinks. One of the 4 steaks our table ordered was overcooked. After our steaks arrived and we asked for A1, we were told after waiting for 10 mins, that there was none. Even our waitress said I don’t blame you for wanting A1, the Texas Roadhouse steak sauce is gross! They rectified the incorrect steak somewhat quickly. My wife went to speak to a manager, as the issues just piled up one after another (the A1 was the straw that broke the camels back). The response from The kitchen manager was indifferent. Our table was then approached by the owner, Frank. Who asked what other issues we had other than the A1 sauce. We explained to him the issues. He said he was sending someone for A1. At that point, we were just ready to leave. The kitchen manager(with the indifferent attitude) then came up because they magically found the steak sauce. She brought a few plastic cups of it. The owner came back up and put lids on the sauce. The kitchen manager did comp the incorrect steak and an appetizer which was appreciated but the way the whole situation happened was just unfortunate. Frank could have been a bit “softer” when speaking to our family, but I do understand that he was extremely busy and had a FULL restaurant. I also was impressed that as an OWNER, he was working alongside his staff, as you don’t see that very often. As someone who has been in management for over 2 decades, I would have spoke to my customers in a different manner. To me, it came off as passive aggressive, which was not needed. That is how I PERCEIVED the conversation. When it comes down to it, a customer perception is their reality. That is what truly gave me the negative impression. We drove almost 2 hours for a family meal at our kids favorite restaurant and unfortunately, this whole situation definitely will make us think about which Texas Roadhouse to patronize.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Didn’t receive our drinks until we were done with our appetizers and salads. But don’t worry, our server made sure to bring more bread… still no drinks. When the drinks did finally arrive, they were wrong. My 4 y/o son (who ordered a KIDS MEAL) was handed a large glass filled to the brim. My husband ordered a steak that they ran out of. A different server came over after we ordered and told him they could swap it for a boneless cut; we were never informed this “swap” would be a $7 up charge. We were also charged for a ribeye instead of a sirloin. I will gladly drive the extra 45 minutes to avoid this location.
We came in on a Wednesday evening before heading up to the hospital to visit a family member. We had awful service…. I have worked in the industry for years so I give a lot of grace when it’s busy. We did online check in and we were sat after slightly longer than the quoted wait. No biggie. After 10 minutes a girl approached saying our server was busy… we gave her our drink and food orders. She was slightly argumentative about the kids drinks… Another 10 minutes goes by and we still don’t have drinks but then the server approached. I explained that our order was taken by the first girl. Then we get our drinks finally. I placed a to go order at this time for the family member at the hospital… after another 15 minutes someone brings my husband his chili then 10 minutes after that my daughter gets her salad. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. And almost an hour for the to go order which was given to us not bagged and missing sides… so it then took even longer… This location has gone down hill dramatically. The newer wait staff seems untrained & the service from start to finish was awful. Plus i noticed several workers on their phones on the floor when I went to the bathroom... I was so disappointed. When we got the food to the hospital my family member bit into it and it was cooked completely wrong… I am so disappointed in this location. This type of service never happens at the Greece Location..
