Loved the food and the drinks, they did not skimp out on the alcohol. The server/ waitress Paola was very attentive and nice.

Still a new restaurant I was expecting there to be operational issues but everything went completely smooth. The food was great, the atmosphere was lively. Indoor, outdoor seating and a bar area. Currently I'm on a carnivore diet in this place had things to accommodate that. I would like to go back after the diet to try some other things. The margaritas and mixed drinks looked awesome also. We'll be going back!

Our female server was so fun and so sweet and very fast considering the size of the restaurant. The food was incredible. Lots of space in the restaurant, mostly casual but a few people on dates came dressed up. It’s definitely a place for everyone. Lots of large parties when we were there! It is loud and lots of children and my husband and I had such a great time with how lively it was!

This place is AWESOME y'all!! There was an hour wait for a table. Luckily we had seats saved at the bar. Which is HUGE! Seats easily 30ish.... They have a very unique drink menu. Check it out! The most important thing, the chips and salsa! I do not care for the red salsa at all but the green salsa is extremely good. You know down in Texas restaurants die or stay alive because of their salsa. The guacamole is most excellent. It doesn't have a lot of fufu and it has a great taste. The beef fajitas. Are delectable. They have a nice Smoky flavor. The one downfall too much gristle They have a mariachi band that goes through and sings the tables throughout the night. And then all of a sudden you hear the shot shot shot song with girls running out from the kitchen with signs and what looks to be feather dusters They have live bands on Friday and Saturday and stay open until 2:00 p.m. on those days. Lots of TVs if they are playing the volume up for the super bowl. This is the place to be... Great service! Great vibe. Good people!

My chicken fajitas were one of the best meals I’ve ever bitten into! The chicken was perfectly cooked and tasted even better with their homemade beans and rice that came with it! When I’m in town, I will come again for sure! If you’re looking for a good place for dinner, come here!! P.s Servers were very nice and got our order right!

This was my 4th time going to eat at Vida Mariscos. We went 10/24 for an early dinner not knowing it was there 1 years anniversary. This was our 5th time visiting. Food, service, and ambiance were excellent as always. They had a raffle for a Framber Valdez autograph Astros Jersey that I miraculously won. The Jalisco people were great with the presentation of the autograph jersey. The restaurant manager was extremely pleasant as well. Will continue to be my favorite seafood restaurant.

The food was great! Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. We especially loved the octopus. The mango margarita was SUPER fresh. The restaurant itself is large and bright, with tons of natural light coming in through the windows.

Nice, spacious restaurant. Great for large parties. Very loud music, busy with wall to wall tv with sports. Nlots of seafood on the menu. Kids meals served in an adorable boat. Staff were all helpful, friendly and excellent. Salad was good.

Wow! What can I say? This place is amazing! Food is exceptional and delicious! We didn’t wait long for our food at all & prices are reasonable! The service was a little laggy and the table is a little small for the huge plates they provide. The server has to put the little serving platter on the floor to allow for space in the table. So despite those 2 things I think the food was superb! The 3 in one dessert we got was just out of this world and only $12! The atmosphere is great! The music is old school Spanish Latin to include: Proyecto 1, Enanitos verdes, El general, Daddy Yankee, and old school Shakira to name a few.

Great new restaurant for the area. It's good to have something with a different menu than everything else. All of our plates were tasty, although I would stick with the Mexican dishes. The fried plate was not on par with other traditional seafood restaurants, but it was still good. This place has a great vibe with a huge bar, huge patio, and live music on weekends! Also, there was a fantastic mariachi band going around that sang a birthday song for my wife. They were great but be aware they charge $25 for a song. Overall we had a great experience!

We enjoyed coming here. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was good, what you would expect from los cucos. They gave bread and pickled carrots instead of chips and salsa which was an intresting change up. The only downside was it was very loud. Which may not be a downside to all. We enjoyed the music, especially the live set, but you will definitely be yelling all night. We tried different cerviches, octopus, parillada, fried rice, and various desserts. All were good with the cerviche and the fish on the parillada being standouts. Definitely a fun lively place perfect for a happy hour or celebration.

Our first visit to Vida Maricos was very positive. There are TVs in every direction with every game on. It was a very festive environment with a Mariachi band playing. There were about 5 birthdays being celebrated while we were there. We had a Super Salad Bowl with Salmon served over white rice, avocado, radish, walnuts, tomato, red onion and cucumber tossed in a sweet ginger miso dressing and we had Blackened Salmon: Salmon filet blackened with Vida Miriscos spice mix. Served with 2 jumbo shrimp, grilled vegetables, rice and black beans. The pictures on the menu did not truly reflect the quality of the food and the vibrant colors. We look forward to going back.

Atmosphere was casual. Be aware that the noise level is loud. But my family and I did go on a Friday night. There were lots of birthdays being celebrated, a band setting up on-stage, and a mariachi band walking around while playing. Food was delicious and piping hot. Next time we will definitely try to make room for dessert, my only regret for the night.

Took my dad for his birthday since he loves seafood , he loved it and I did as well , I’ve been about 5 times already and they always have either live music or DJ or people performing , if you like this kind of atmosphere I recommend this place , and it’s perfect for parties (adults) they offer different types of seafood and the drinks are super tasty

I had no idea what we were walking into. This place was CRAZY!!!! Oh my gosh there was a DJ, and a band and every 10 minutes it was someone's birthday and the music was turned up even louder with staff waving what I can only discribe as some sort of wand you would see at a rave. Its a non stop party the entire time. This takes place the entire night! If you're not ready for a non stop party dont come here. I bet its a good place to have drinks before a night out. Although there were several kids here I wouldnt bring mine only because there's just sooooo much going on. The food is okay. Dont expect to get chips and dip. We bought them just because thats what we were looking for that night. They were ok. Green salsa is better than the red. They sit you with bread and carrots that are marinated. We got fajitas that had beef, chicken and shrimp. It was ok. The shrimp was overcooked. The drinks were delicious. Our waitress was great.

The food was delicious. The baja fish had a deliciously creamy texture. The blackened salmon was tasteful. The banana bread was average. If you're seeking a restaurant to celebrate your birthday, I highly recommend it. The service was exceptional.

Vida Mariscos is a spot my family has been trying to get me to visit for some time now. The short & sweet, I should have visited sooner!! The bad: Service: could have been better. It wasn’t busy, but our server disappear for quite a while. We actually got refills for ourselves, because she was lacking. Even with extra help. Don’t think she was having a good day, just wasn’t happy to be there. Very noticeable. There were two waitresses that took our orders. Not one wrote a thing down, if you’re going to place an order anything more than 4 expect a mess up. We had one order missing that was never addressed. Noise Level: The music level inside, might not be for some people. It is rather loud, however you’re still able to hold a conversation. The good: Everything else lol. Where to start?? The roasted elote plate as an appetizer is definitely one to try. Its flavors are still making my mouth water writing this. It’s not like your typical corn in a cup, it just hit all the flavor notes every bite. The Fajitas were on point. Char, tender, flavor, etc. All the sides were full of authentic flavors. Just paired well with everything we ordered. The food and cooks bring their A game here and looking forward to trying more dishes on my next visit. Price points are on the higher side. But know it’s well worth it, and you will most likely end up with left overs. I was informed that in the evenings, happy hour special nights, and weekends. They have live music and typically a larger crowd. So if that’s not your thing, best to visit during the day or during the week. What are some of your favorites dishes you’ve tried? How was your experience? We will definitely be back for more. Until next time.

On my first visit to this restaurant, I was first very impressed with its spacious open area inside and out. My first thought was this was a Mexican restaurant that offered the same menu as others I have visited before. My best guess now is that their menu brings two cultures together based on my first impression of the appetizers they bring you first to your table. I have to admit I was thrown off a little bit by the plate of spicy pickled carrots and warm rolls with butter "instead" of the usual tortilla chips or even crispy plantain chips served with the red, green or sweet tomato salsa that you sometimes get at other Mexican restaurants. To add to my awkward feeling, I had to ask one of the waiters what I was supposed to do with this appetizer? Was I supposed to wait for my main meal to eat it? He replied that most people stuff the carrots in the middle of the bread and eat it this way. What I found out later is that this type of serving is more common in Vietnamese quizine and also served by a few Mexican or Central American restaurants. No disrespect to my own culture, but for me, it will take some getting used to their version of an appetizer. In addition, they serve a pickled jicama slaw or salad with a little shredded carrot and maybe a little shredded lettuce and or coleslaw mixed in and is added to most of their baked or fried fish and shrimp menu options. My bacon wrapped shrimp or shrimp brochette for about $24 a plate comes with 6 large size shrimp and is drizzled with some Chipotle or soy sauce combination that was a bit too salty for my taste. I also ordered two other plates on their menu. I ordered the blackened salmon with rice, black beans, veggies, and baked shrimp for around $27. I then ordered the Pescado empanizado (fried fish) lunch plate for $14 that included a fish taco with the tangy shredded jicama slaw on a corn tortilla with 3 shrimp on the same plate. Both plates were very good, and I "might" order again on my next visit. The happy hour "large" margaritas are very good, much like all margaritas from other restaurants, and it is priced at $9 during happy hour 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. I almost forgot the 3 fish and shrimp empanada combo for $12 was really good, too. As for the atmosphere in the restaurant, they seem to have a small stage area for a small band possibly for performances on Friday evenings "or" weekends, but I'm not sure. I do wish on this occasion they tone down the music on their sound system, though. I prefer a more quiet environment. Since it's my first visit, I wonder if it's quieter at different times of the week but will see or ask next time if I return on a different date and time. On this visit I failed to do the math on my food and I ended up spending a little over $106 for me and my guest "not" counting the tip for 4 dishes, a side of guacamole for $12 and a margarita. It's a bit way too much than I'm used to spending at any restaurant for the portions served.

My server was Jennifer S., and honestly, she was the worst server I’ve ever had in my life. From the start, the experience was just terrible. It took her over 10 minutes just to come to say hi and take our drink order. I actually had to get up and ask a busser to find her because we were waiting and nobody helped us. When she finally showed up, she just said, “Sorry, I was busy with another table,” and then took our drink order. Even then, it took her forever to bring the drinks. A busser actually had to bring us water before she even got back. After she dropped off the drinks, she disappeared again and took even longer to come back for our food order. The place was basically empty, just one other table, and she was literally just walking around doing side work like stacking to-go boxes instead of checking on us. When she finally came to take our order, I specifically asked her about two different ceviches. I said, “Which one is better?” She recommended one, and I asked her very clearly, “But is it spicy? Because I don’t want anything spicy.” She said, “No, it’s not spicy.” So I ordered it. When it came out, it was extremely spicy, full of chopped jalapeños. I told her about it, and instead of apologizing or fixing the situation, she just said, “It shouldn’t be spicy.” I pointed out the jalapeños and she kept insisting it wasn’t supposed to be spicy. Still, no apology, no manager, nothing. She just asked, “Do you want something else?”, I said no because that was the only one thing that I wanted, my friend had to tell her to take the dish back since I wasn’t going to eat it. She removed the plate, supposedly to take it off the bill, but she never did. About 20 minutes later, she came back with the same ceviche, just with the jalapeños picked out because she didn’t want to take it off the bill, I ended up just taking it to-go, but even the box and the check took forever. The whole time, her attitude was arrogant and careless, like she just didn’t care about our table at all. No smile, no courtesy, no apology, no effort to make things right. We never even saw a manager, which is unbelievable. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, all because of the server’s terrible service.
