This is a fun little ski hill. There are only a few trails but the terrain is decently steep. When I visited, the snow was in good shape, and was nice and edgeable. They appear to aggressively groom trails as smooth as possible. The single chair is old and slow but there's not really any reason to rush so it's fine. There are a LOT of new skiers here so keep your awareness up. The prices for lift tickets and food in the lodge are all incredibly reasonable, amazing how affordable skiing can be if a giant corporation isn't trying to extract maximum profit.

Very homey Ski area! Very friendly staff and love that they host Veterans Appreciation ski Sundays in Jan-Feb. Simple ski area with one lift and a great place for beginners or advanced skiers looking for a few runs

Amazing, spectacular. Small mountain for a local day on the mountain. 10/10 highly recommended.

You catch this place with some snow and a promo deal, and it’s so worth it. Great blue run ls with some twists and speed; wonderful 3 to 4 hours of skiing. And the lodge is perfect, $6 drafts and made to order food. Also better bunny slope than the big mountains.

I can’t speak highly enough about there ski lessons. Signed my daughter up and she couldn’t have been more comfortable and her confidence has sky rocketed. They teach the true fundamentals and take it slow to give kids the true safety and confidence they need to hit the slopes. Legit cannot talk highly enough about the program and the rates are so reasonable.

Best little ski slope in the area! Up to 4 blues and 1 black diamond run. The lift is slow, but it's never crowded and you can't beat the price. Usually get 10-12 runs in in 1.5-2hrs. Great food and locker room services in the lodge also. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I also come here to get my skis tuned and serviced every year as well.

I've been on the Fort Hamilton MWR trip the past two years and had a great time on this mountain both times! The mountain is comparatively small to others much further north, but that staff is so friendly! And they're always trying to do what they can to keep the mountain open and give you a positive experience.

Need to get some of those winter runs out of the way without driving hours from home or some practice runs in before taking on those bigger slopes? Right here in Orange County, NY... a hidden gem. They do make their own snow to help mother nature along but they're also very seasonal so don't wait for spring skiing. Professional and friendly staff...

We finally decided to try this place with very low expectation (because only one lift, not a "commercial one" but an army affiliated facility, the website is really bad honestly. etc). It blow away our expectation by miles. we will be coming back every weekend for sure. We are parents with 8yr old boy from NYC. Me and boy are advanced, wife is very much beginner. We went to Campgaw which is suppose to be the "best learning place" for my wife, turns out to be a disaster if you every try their weird lift design you will know what I mean. We went to Windham, it is ok, but with 2.5 hours drive from city, the parking, the lift line, is just not worth it. This place is amazing. My son and I are able to enjoy all the runs, we had fun do some jumps and go in and out trees. My wife learnt on the long, smooth bunny slope and tried the chairlift for one long run. lift line is amazingly very very short almost all the time. staff are super friendly, parking is convenient and only steps away from the base. Things can be better: 1. please make the website better. the ticket purchasing site also was out for at least two days. 2. the cable tow for the bunny run. I remember use something similar but there's a extension you can pull out with a hook so it can hook your leg. this one seems very hard to use for adult height. i don't know if you are suppose to put it behind your leg or use arm to pull it. either way it is very uncomfortable. Even with these, it is easily the best ski place near city. we will be back frequently. thank you!

Beautiful views. We had Abby as our guide she was outstanding.she had all these books pictures, leaves under plastic so she could show every one types of trees in the area. You're right on the border of Massachusetts and New York when you're there. Just a beautiful ride out into the country. we're not steers and it was very busy and hectic there yesterday but on the snowshoeing we were the only family so it was very nice and relaxed.

Had a really nice time snow shoeing. Will give another review when I'll go skying there. Facilities are nice (wasn't able to try out the lodge/cafeteria). All in all Seems decent for the area.

Pretty cool experience. Beautiful drive from Connecticut and a great value. Sure, there's only one lift and four trails, but the trails are very wide, groomed well and offer some nice glade spots too. Everyone who works there is super nice and Great place if you want to spend a few hours and not a lot of money.

If you're looking for a cheap place with decent hills to have fun, then this is a good place. If you're looking for a place with more variety, this isn't the spot for you. The only downside for beginners is that it goes straight from a bunny slope to blues and blacks. They aren't terribly hard to manage, but it might be scary for beginners.

Outdated ski resort. Very aggressive bunny slope. Still has a rope tow instead of a magic carpet. Not child friendly new to skiing. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING. This places needs major upgrades and needs to be modernized. NEEDS TO BE MORE KID FRIENDLY TO NEW SKIERS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
