Baci Cafe Westbury Reviews
Everything was excellent. Food, service and staff all a 10. Food portions were great. Taste was a 10.
Came here for a late dinner as a group of six. Great place to meet up. Good pasta dishes, and the fish dishes were cooked to perfection. Large portions, which even our athlete teenagers couldn't finish, so we brought the rest home. Service was good and attentive. I wouldn't go here for an intimate dinner but it was great for socializing.
I have been to Baci Cafe many times , never disappointed! Was my birthday we had amazing appetizers meal and desert as always! Plenty of food never skimping! Quality excellent! Service fantastic!must try restaurant!
5 Stars all the way! From the atmosphere to the customer service absolute excellence. Cuisine is authentic Italian with huge portions but they don’t compromise on quality. Pasta heaven cooked to perfection!!!! It’s a must visit for all foodies.
DELICIOUS!!! Here for an early dinner for our first time and the restaurant did not disappoint! We went for the Lobster Ravioli and it was worth every penny. A sumptuous pink champagne cream sauce with stuffed ravioli that were perfectly prepared and topped with shrimp. Large portion with plenty to savor and even some to take home. Wait staff was cordial and pleasant. Highly recommended and I hope to return in the future.
Be warned, the wait can be long. Why? Because they don’t take reservations BUT if you time it right, you can be seated right away like we did when we went. Portions are huge and the food is delivered in a timely manner by friendly waiters. Well worth it! Note: the line for the bathroom can get long because they only have 2 bathrooms.
If you're searching for authentic and incredibly delicious Italian pasta dishes in Nassau County, look no further than Cafe Baci. This charming restaurant truly delivers on its promise of exquisite flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied - with leftovers, and the friendly staff provides excellent service, making your dining experience truly enjoyable. Cafe Baci is a must-visit for anyone craving truly delicious Italian pasta.
If you’re hungry and you love great Italian food, come to Cafe Baci. The portions are HUGE, the service is great and food is delicious! I love to be overfed and this place does not disappoint. Every meal served is enough for two people. We had the chicken parm, the chicken paesano and the Italian chopped salad with grilled chicken. All 3 were top tier!
We arrived on a Saturday evening around 7pm, we waited around 45 minutes to be seated. Our waitress, Giana, was an exceptional young lady! She was knowledgeable & went above & beyond to make the night special. My food was sensational, very robust & flavorful. I also enjoyed the large portions, definitely enough to enjoy lunch the next day. We had a fantastic evening, amazing food, & drinks!
One of my favorite spots for delicious Italian food! The dishes are so tasty and the portions are very generous. My go-to app is the Calamari and my must-have entree alternates between the Tortelloni Amore and Lasagna. Both are so tasty and filling. I usually finish my meal off with a Tartufo for dessert and it becomes the perfect meal. Cafe Baci is an absolute gem of a spot that I cannot recommend enough. Check out my full review on Yelp!
First off food was delicious, but they did mess up my wife’s order which prevented us from eating together. I ordered a drink from the bar & it came after the appetizers. It appears Baci needs to work on their communication with the kitchen & bar. I will give them one more chance since the food was so yummy🤤
Came here on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Felt very welcoming as you take 1 step inside facing the bar. 😊 Lounge seats with a high ceiling interior allows in plenty of natural light. Spacious seating for large groups. The pasta dishes are quite good. I slurped up the linguine & mopped up my plate with the complimentary pizza bread. The $17 glass of red wine (Valpolicella) was only okay. Can use some better Italian wines like a PRIMITIVO RISERVA. Joe provided excellent service 🙏🏻 2/14/25. A fantastic lunch for Valentine’s Day. The wine by Conundrum was better. The lunch specials were excellent. Big portions. Service was exceptional. 🙏🏻 7/16/25 Good lunch & great service
This was our third dinner here. The food is as good as before. We didn't have to wait for table, but it seemed they're busy. We waited for some times after we placed our order. We were glad the bread basket tasted so good that we could hold up for a bit from hungry 😆 After the appetizer mussels came out, we did take a long wait for the entrees. Our server noticed that and apologized about the wait. Luckily, everything came out great . No matter was the salmon mosato, the kid menu pizza and the lasagna. We couldn't finish because the dish was big. We packed the lasagna home and saved some space for the dessert. We ordered the tiramisu, but it also took a while to come to our table. It's still frozen in the middle, like ice cream.
Not Great, Not Awful its ok. Food is good not amazing. Protions are good, prices are on the high end. PARKING IS AWFUL, VERY LIMITED. The restaurant is loud and you sit close to over dinners. Very tight seating. I would go again as take out Not dine in.
Visited for the first time on Easter Sunday. There was no wait for a party of two, which was great considering how busy restaurants get on this holiday. So that was a good start...now onto the food. My wife ordered the penne saporite and I the lasagna. Both dishes were ok. But honestly, nothing special. Kind of run-of-the-mill quality. Also be warned that portions are enormous; feels like almost too much food. I know it sounds weird complaining about something like this, but it did feel excessive. I will say that staff were very friendly and attentive though the food did take a little longer than expected. Atmosphere was OK...place looks dated and could use some upgrading. Don't know if I'll be back which is a shame since I had high hopes since I had heard very good things about this place.
The host stand did a great job finding us a table and seating us expeditiously despite the business. We were comfortable where we were sat. Our server, appeared to be distracted definitely came back to have our drink order repeated. Forgot to check on the table, ordered a second drink and it didn't come until my meal was finished and didn't apologize for the 25 minute delay of not having the drink on the table. Also shows, 25 minutes of lacking service. Food, calamari was good, the baked clams tasted a little fishy. We ordered the chicken and shrimp scampi and I'm so happy we ordered 1 dish to share. The dish lacked flavor, felt soupy and the pasta was definitely not al dente. This pasta was short of being in a soup, just completely underwhelming and soft. They gave us 3 pieces of shrimp and more chicken than anything. I make better pasta than this at home. After eating the food, definitely felt a bit nauseated. I'd pass on this location for a meal. Between the underwhelming food and lackluster serve, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
The restaurant is beautiful. The drinks are wonderful, but the food was OK. It lost portions but the seasoning wasn’t quite there. We had a party of 9+ people and we really didn’t enjoy our meal but we are we were there a few years ago for two birthday parties and the food was great. I don’t know if they changed the chef but like I said, the food was OK I don’t think we will be going back there anytime soon, but like I said, though the food was OK, but not what I was expecting for it to be an Italian restaurant
Arrived on 1/23/25 at 10:25 PM intending to have just one drink…no food. Google lists their closing time as 11:00 PM. However, the front desk lady told us they were closed, even though there were still guests actively dining. Sooooo my drink would have been done faster than anyone eating….?? One of the female bartenders was willing to serve us, but the man at the bar overruled her and refused very rude…….We left as a result. Very disappointing…especially since this is our neighborhood spot. Not sure we’ll be returning. I’ve added two photos from a previous visit; I won’t be adding any others, despite having many more.
Before addressing the food, I want to acknowledge that the front-of-house staff is doing a great job—they were helpful, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the dining experience itself was deeply disappointing. Cafe Baci is a forgettable yet unforgettable experience—forgettable in flavor, unforgettable in how low-quality and tasteless the food was. As someone who is Italian, I had far higher expectations. Calling this “Italian cuisine” is honestly a stretch. I lowered my usual dining standards to try something local, and that decision was a mistake. Every dish was bland and borderline inedible. My entire party lost their appetite—we left three full entrées untouched. To their credit, the manager removed them from the bill, which we appreciated. If you enjoy low-quality food, excessively large portions, and overpriced plates, this may be the place for you. Ambience: Confusing at best. At one point, I genuinely felt like I was in Texas. Nothing about the space reflects Italian culture or cuisine—it’s heavily Americanized. If you own cowboy boots, you might feel more at home than someone looking for an Italian café experience. Overall: I will not be returning. This was a disappointing experience across the board, and there is significant room for improvement
I usually do not leave negative reviews but I feel the public must be warned. The food was good. I was there on Father’s Day with a group. One of the last tables. The manager was sitting down eating and I had to let him know how filthy the restroom was. He never apologized or anything. He just sent his workers to clean it up. I felt no accountability on his part at all. He did t come To the table after he just ignored me.
