AMAZING! Food was delicious and staff was very kind. 10/10 will be coming back for more!😋
One of my favorite spots for Asian food. Everything on the menu is always amazing and the owner is so nice!
My family and I have been coming here for years. They always make us feel so welcomed. Food is tasty, comes out quickly, is hot and fresh. This is our go to place in town would 100% recommend.
Went here on impulse! Photos below are of what my family and i ordered. Kung pao chicken lunch, shrimp and seasonal veggies lunch and a pad thai. Not quite what i expected for the pad thai but still nice. We ended up all sharing family style. But be warned peanuts in the king pao, not something i usually order myself but i did enjoy it until i reached the peanut bite! Overall would come here again. Happy family and between the errands we were running i would stop here again!
Absolutely delightful. It serves great American Chinese food that is full of flavour. We ordered Oyster Sauce Beef, Chow Mein, Pot Stickers, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Kung Pao chicken from their value Dinner Special. The food is well made and authentic as American Chinese food comes. The service is friendly and the food came out very fast. Would recommend to anyone.
Delicious!! We came here at the suggestion of our hotel's front desk person and were pleasantly surprised! We ordered orange chicken, which came in perfectly fried bite-sized pieces, all tender and none chewy, as well as the BBQ chowmein which tasted better than it looked (packed with flavor and fresh veggies, noodles the perfect texture), and the fried shrimp (absolutely spot on). The service was excellent and the host/server took several calls throughout our stay which only confirmed how great this place is, definitely popular! The hostess got a call from a completely unreasonable customer and was incredibly professional, kind, and as accommodating as possible the whole time, but the woman still vowed to never return. Honestly, that person's loss because if we lived here, we'd be back every weekend, it was just THAT good! Plus, rude people don't deserve such good food and great service! Thank you Zen!
First time coming here. The Pot Stickers with the ponzu style dipping sauce was great. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was different that it did not have the mayonnaise sauce but was also very good for my liking. I loved the taste of their Singapore Noodles. The Salt and Pepper Fish lacked the salty umami taste that I’m accustomed to batter was not cakey, otherwise it was just okay for my liking. I’m a bit disappointed with the lack of flavor of the broth of the Wor Wonton Soup. Overall, the food was good with great service and a nice diner style Asian restaurant.
The food was okay. The server was very sweet. I walked in noticed there’s no menus or nothing on the walls. They asked if I would like to sit or take out, I would’ve rather have seen the menu as I asked before answering…. I paid $60 for two plates both with cho mein and fried rice, one had honey walnut shrimp, and the other had salt and pepper shrimp. I also got 4 eggs rolls. I don’t think the prices were equivalent to the food portions and quality. So I don’t think I will be returning. But I do not want to take any recognition away from the amazing server, she was the best part of the restaurant and is well appreciated.
I have ordered many times. Good food but terrible service. I ordered in advance and we agreed on a time for pick up. Showed up and she said i make for u now. NOPE I ORDERED 24 HOURS AGO FOR A PICK UP AND NOT SO U CAN TELL ME TO WAIT. She said 2 minute. After i waited 10 i said im running errands and back in 20 will you have it ready? And she screamed TWO MINUTE. Sorry goofball but on the phone you agreed ready in 30 minutes not start cooking when i arrive. You have lost my business forever. Shangai i found has wonderful pot stickers and has the food ready at the time we agreed. Get it together. You can do better
I usually order the orange nuggets from here, which is a non meat orange chicken made with tofu. In the past it has been so good. Tonight I ordered and it came out last after my rice and noodles. First they were so hard I couldn’t put my fork through them without practically stabbing them, 2nd they were so dry inside. They seemed to be way over cooked. I asked the waitress if the recipe was different and she told me no. I told her the nuggets were overcooked and dried. All she said was “we never change the recipe” I was still charged for the dish even tho I left almost the whole plate there. Very disappointed I wasn’t offered atleast a discount on that dish. Wish I waited the hour wait at Davorns.
