La Scala Pizzeria Westlake Reviews
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambience and just a great place to go with the family or for a date. Great prices too and just overall five stars if I could give it more than a higher rating, I would.
Amazing pizza and pastas. The sandwiches and calzone / stromboli rolls also are fabulous! Fun bar. Great value as well.
The Pizza is amazing! Being born and raised in the Bronx I can confidently say this is New York Pizza! I initially had an issue with my delivery order however as soon as Anthony was aware of the issue he reached out immediately to make it right!
Prompt and friendly service. Excellent pizza, veal parm, lasagna, and the BEST linguine with clams that I’ve had outside of Chicago. I’m grateful to finally find my go-to Italian restaurant here in DFW.
Awesome place. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere has a family feel. I highly recommend La Scala to anyone who likes good pizza and pasta.
Only had pizza to go, but really great crust and high quality toppings. Garlic knots very high quality. Will definitely be back often!
The food is delicious. Pizza is thin and crispy and the chicken penne arrabbiata is delish! Place is casual on one side and dine in on the other but a little dark and in a secluded area. Little skimpy with the salad
I just love this sweet little restaurant and its NYC flair! Maybe most people order out here or I keep coming during off hours but this place deserves a lot more foot traffic than it gets. It feels like home, it’s clean, adorable on the inside, you’re guaranteed to get a New York style slice, and I love popping by when I’m out and about in town and want authenticity *good* pizza.
This place is legit! We went for lunch, and the stromboli was delicious. The crust was perfect, and the marinara was good. (Don't miss the fried ravioli. It was amazing.)
I have been visiting Ft Worth for as long as I can remember for the Goodguys car show at the Nascar track. We used to always eat here every trip because we stayed at the hotel next door, the food is so good though that even though we stay elsewhere now, we always make a trip to eat at La Scala. Pizza, Chicken Parm, Spaghetti, Lasagna, Chicken Murphy, etc, never had anything bad here.
I’ve been on the search for the perfect pizza in this area and La Scala was recommended to me. Tried it and was super impressed. I took it to go and it was still good when we ate. I ordered a large supreme and added jalapeño. The large was $18.99 and the extra ingredient added $1.75. The crust was perfectly crispy and they were very generous with the toppings. And the price I paid for what I got was perfect. Highly recommend the pizza. The location is very hidden but there’s a nice neighborhood type bar and Sadie the bartender was super nice and very efficient. There’s also a separate pick up area for “just pizza” and a restaurant area (but I didn’t go in there so I can’t review that part). They also do pizza by the slice. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. But I’ve found my new pizza place! Give it a try!
They have a really thin crust pizza. Good size and value for the price. Fried cheese sticks were decent with a good cheese pull on the mozzarella. Pizza by the slice available. Bar is next door to the pizza section. Besides pizza, looks like a nice selection of Italian pasta, entrées, subs, and desserts to choose from. When busy, parking can be tough.
A good friend of mine suggested this place, so I traveled all the way from Fort Worth to Westlake to see what the fuss was all about. Made both of my slices fresh to order and it definitely did not disappoint. The veggie pizza was $2.50 in the slice of veggie pizza was $3.25. Not bad at all and super huge slices.
I would highly recommend La Scalia Pizzeria place for Italian dining in the Westlake area. Their pizza and Stromboli were some of the best from any Italian restaurant I’ve had in the Dallas Fort Worth area. The service was friendly, and very quick. If you want Italian food and want to be treated well, give this place a visit!
We absolutely love La Scala Pizza. We think it's the best tasting in and around our area. However, over the last year or so the outer crust, the part where you hold, has gotten thinner and thinner and thinner to the point now where it's crispy and not soft on the inside, almost like they're trying to save on dough a little bit. It is still a great pizza and it's probably as close to New York style as we've had, except for the outer crust is getting too thin to be New York style.
Ordered an Italian Sub to go. My husband was kind enough to pick it up. Instead of using lettuce, as the sandwich called for, someone put in spring mix, including the carrots. I'm deathly allergic to carrots, and thankfully didn't bite into the sandwich before eyeing orange slivers that do not belong in an Italian sandwich. But the carelessness that may not have impacted most would have put me in the hospital. My husband loves their pizza, but mistakes like these are unacceptable.
“My recent visit to La Scala pizzeria was incredibly disappointing. The pizza I ordered felt like a crisp, hard-to-chew mess. It seemed overcooked, lacking the desired texture and flavor. The staff’s demeanor didn’t improve the experience; they appeared disinterested and provided poor service. Overall, my dining experience at La Scala pizzeria was a letdown, and I would caution others against expecting a satisfying meal.” The guy at counter was on phone while taking order and didn’t gave me receipt too.( told me printer issue) Totally disrespectful and disappointed with meal. One of the worst pizza I ever had.
