El Norteño Wichita Falls Reviews
Possibly the best carne guisada I’ve had and I’m from San Antonio! Flour tortillas are insane good! Highly recommend!!!
Muy Authentico! Come here for the absolute best homestyle mexican food! Perfect portions, good prices, and amazing flavor! The tortillas and chips are perfect, warm and fresh. The meat is tender and perfectly seasoned. The beans have an awesome flavor and aren't bland like at other places. Their salsa is mild with a little kick, good for any pallete. Absolutely love this place!
This is a local, hole-in-the-wall restaurant with wonderful food. The staff know their stuff and I've never had to wait for a coffee refill. The salsa is good and has the right amount of kick. The tortillas are fresh and the food is seasoned right.
not the fanciest looks wise but the food is great and so is the service
Family members were very satisfied with breakfast and the Menudo was great. Service and waiting staff were good also. Being from the McKinney area and not knowing the area it was questionable but turned out great. I'll definitely come back.
100% best best Latino restaurant in the business hole in the wall does not mean anything negative against them. It is a beautiful place. I am eating a bean and cheese burrito and it tastes like love taste like love wrapped in a tortilla. Beautiful 100%. You don't go here. You're missing out on Wichita falls authentic Latino food 💪😎
Oh man, let me tell you about this hidden gem I stumbled on. I mean, I've had my fair share of Mexican food, but this place just blew my mind! I'm talking about some of the most authentic, mouth-watering, and downright delicious Mexican cuisine I've had in a long time. I'm giving this place a solid 5 stars, and here's why. First off, the Tacos Sincronizadas. Holy guacamole, these bad boys were out of this world! The flavors were so perfectly balanced, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. It's like they took a little piece of Mexico and served it up on a plate. I could taste the love and passion that went into making these tacos, and I couldn't get enough of them. Now, let me paint you a picture. We arrived at El Norteno just before closing time, and you know how some places can get a little grumpy when you show up late? Not these guys. The staff were so polite and welcoming, it felt like we were being invited into their home. They didn't rush us or make us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Instead, they treated us like family, and that's something you don't find every day. The atmosphere at El Norteno was warm and inviting, with a touch of that laid-back, Mexican charm. It was the perfect setting to enjoy some amazing food and share a few laughs with friends. And speaking of laughs, the staff were not only polite but also had a great sense of humor. It's always a bonus when you can have a good time while enjoying a fantastic meal. In a world where it's easy to find mediocre Mexican food, El Norteno stands out as a shining example of what authentic Mexican cuisine should taste like. I can't recommend this place enough, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you haven't been to El Norteno yet, do yourself a favor and go check it out. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you.
Within walking in and seating myself, I was given immediate service. Authentic customer service. Coffee was great. I had the chorizo with eggs and potatoes and beans. Great flavor and cooked good. The homemade tortilla was as big as a pizza. Amazing service and cozy location. The food was great. This coming from a well traveled out of towner.
This place was highly suggested. I ventured out and I am glad I got to experience this little gem! The place is small and their menu straight to the point. I went with the Carne Asada plate with accompanied flat flour bread... It was delicious! Very authentic and a very good portion. I left blissfully full.
This place is amazing. The burrito size is huge. Every thing was so flavorful. The server was great to us. He knew me better than I knew myself, because he asked if I wanted more salsa and I thought I was gonna be ok without more but he brought another bowl anyway and I was so happy he did! Because that salsa is so divine, I want a tub full. I want that salsa on everything for the rest of forever. If you like Mexican food, this is possibly the only place you should go to for that cuisine
I've order doordash for breakfast and it was wonderful. Also had their taco truck's street taco they never fail, always great and worth the wait when I see them downtown. Great service when you dine in here, wasn't impressed by the evening food it wasn't bad or good.
I give it three starts because I ate there earlier and had one of the best burritos but when I got an horchata I drank it and realized it was old and spoiled the food was amazing but the horchata was spoiled and sour it was nasty 🤮 other then tht good food👍just wish they had good horchata
I paid almost $13 for a custom made burrito. It was supposed to have sausage, egg, cheese, potatoes, and beans. It's sad to say that I had mostly egg, beans, and potatoes. Shame on you for seeing this food. I am a teacher we had the food door dashed. I won't ever do that again! 🤬
I don't know how good the food is because they never brought us the menus or came to provide services to our table. So we left. 🫠 0 stars if I could . Do not recommend
How the heck do they have good reviews. I couldn’t even chew the meat , the tacos didn’t have any meat, and the beans are canned beans. I called them to let them know & then my stomach started hurting so I called them again and they started ignoring my calls. I would not recommend this place.
I do not understand the great reviews. This is the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I've gone twice. First time I had enchiladas. So bad I could barely eat any of it. Beans tasted old and dry. Second time I had carne asada and pastor tacos. The asada was like shoe leather and salty, the pastor was mostly just hard chunks of fat.
