Orbakers Drive-In Williamson Reviews
Stopped tonight for dinner, what a great experience! Great food, excellent service, LOVE the mini sundaes! Nice job everyone!
Been coming here all my life (83 yrs). Great food, fast service, unique atmosphere! Great place to stop for burgers, milk shakes, and way much more.
Four of us went for dinner and we had great food and a great time. All of the staff were very friendly towards us. Our waitress was very attentive. All four of us enjoyed our burgers and delicious milkshakes as well. The dining room had air conditioning which felt good on that hot night. I would highly recommend a visit there.
Excellent restaurant! Their burgers beat Tom Wahl’s and Bill Grays. They’re on par with Five Guys. Their bacon chicken sandwich was the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Major props to the cooks! Fries and onion rings were crispy and delicious as well! Not a ton of malt in the malt milkshake. Maybe they forgot to add it? Regardless, definitely get a chocolate shake here! Pricing was fair. Neat atmosphere. You can sit at the bar or they have a dining area as well. Excellent ice cream. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area. Friendly staff.
I absolutely love this place, I stopped by for a burger and tender dinner and it was to die for! Move out of the way McDonalds, Orbaker’s is the joint to visit. Ask for a side of gravy to dip the fries and tenders in, you won’t regret it! Very clean and friendly staff!!
Great, unique, old-fashioned drive-in restaurant with service like you received 75 years ago. Excellent "greasy" burgers that aren't really greasy! The fries are handcut and fantastic! This is a must visit location!
Good old fashioned atmosphere. Service was great. Food was great. And the old style ice cream counter
First time with my Family...Kids truly enjoyed their ice creams. Wonderful customer experience.
The staff were friendly and truly seemed to enjoy being at work. A bit pricey but in today's economy what isn't.
Wow just a random stop for lunch. Food was great , service was outstanding. The young lady running the show is a huge asset to the operation. She keeps up the teamwork and makes everything flow perfectly. We had the grilled chicken , the Hollywood Burger and fried mushrooms. Everything was fresh and tasty.
Great attentive staff excellent food fast service time budget friendly
Great food, awesome staff and unique atmosphere. They have decent hours and are conveniently located.
Stopped for lunch on 11/27/2024. The staff was very friendly. After I ordered, other staff members made sure that I was taken care of. The food was prepared to order. The bacon cheeseburger was very tasty and the fries were very good. I am looking forward to enjoying food there again.
The special of the day, was turkey dinner. It was very good. Good value for money.
I visited the establishment for the first time since it became under new ownership, I absolutely love how they maintained the look of how I remember it while also adding some modern features. I also enjoyed being able to see a friend and catch up with them before attending the event I was there to attend. I look forward to future visits.
Great place to get a burger especially if you’re gluten free. I have never had an issue with cross contamination since I have been going here. The owners and the staff are amazing when it comes to keeping my food safe for me to eat. The gluten free buns they have are delicious, not the fall apart kind when you try to eat them as other places try to cut corners with a cheaper alternative to a good gluten free buns. Sometimes they ever have a special such as their meatloaf that they will make gluten free. Their ice cream servings are HUGE you definitely get your moneys worth in quality and quantity in what ever you order. My husband often gets their fish fries which he throughly enjoys. Large portion of fish, sometimes he can’t finish and brings it home for lunch the next day. Orbaker’s is the best place to grab a bite to eat after a long work day.
Everytime I go the staff is always very respectful, the food comes out on time and I feel like a genuinely happy man whenever I go because the food is so good.
What a nostalgic roadside burger joint should be. You can feel the history of this place as you take a seat at the counter. Save room for an ice cream dessert or milkshake.
I ordered fish and chips the meal was excellent.
Haven't been there in awhile but needled to go. We met the new Owner who is a super guy. The food was great as well as the service. Cleanliness throughout as well. Pricing in the right range with plenty on your plate and you can forgo the charge/debit fee if you pay with cash. We will return and not be such strangers
We need more old style drive in burger joints like this wonderful business. And the food is really great, too. Wait staff is super friendly. Plenty of parking and an air conditioned dining room. But eat at the counter for the best time.
We enjoyed the delicious Eclipse Special: a cheeseburger. Pulled pork and onion rings sandwich. At $8.50 it was worth every delicious bite. In fact I enjoyed mine so much, it vanished in 3 bites. All sift drinks are now only one size, medium, at $3.45 but free refills. Lastly, the new ownership now accepts major credit cards. If you stop in say hello to Laura, our sweet and charming waitress with a great smile.
This restaurant has been here for years and it’s a great piece of our community history! New owners took this restaurant and made it even better! Gave it a good cleaning, updated seats and tables and added some new special items to the menu! Burgers are fresh not frozen! They take great pride in providing their customers with fresh delicious meals! I have eaten here many times and never had a bad experience and the service has always been great! Let’s keep them going by showing our support!
Traditional old style roadside diner. Food is very tasty with a good amount of options including ice cream and shakes
1st timer....food was awesome, we will be stopping back, it memory of Richard.... I had his favorite in honor of his birthday today...the Glutton Burger (2 steak burgers, 4 pieces of cheese, 4 slices of ham, 4 pieces of bacon, lettuce, onion, relish and hot sauce) that was alot of burger to eat....How did you stay so slender Rich????
Orbakers is such a staple in the Williamson community as well as the 104 corridor. It has that hometown burger joint feel! Staff is always so nice and attentive! Carmen and Jordan took care of our group and everything was flawless!! Definitely will be back!
Great old-fashioned drive in diner. The menu is quite large. They have a kids menu, burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken, garbage plates, etc. Many fun ice cream flavors, sundaes, floats, and flavored sodas. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor (picnic tables) seating . The staff were all friendly and full of smiles. Highly recommend Orbakers for the whole family.
Been coming here for 20 years- my sister worked here way way back in the day- havent been back in about 3 though. Went by last night for a shake and some gravy fries. It's changed since the last time I was there. The man that originally owned it was not my favorite. Last night I was so impressed. Not only was the food on point but the service was also amazing. I get anxious sometimes out in the wild so I stumbled over my words and I was so embarrassed until the young women taking my order just smiled and said its okay- take your time. Idk if its bc im pregnant and overly emotional or what but I wanted to cry because she made me feel safe with her kind words. I also noticed they are now part of a program to help feed those less fortunate. Just wow. I love it. Thank you for bringing back this old relic- you outshine the former glory by 100000000.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ The restaurant hadn't changed since I was a kid. If I could I'd give it 10 stars. Great staff, Great Food, quick service, and reasonable prices. Definitely worth stopping whether going towards Sodus or Rochester on NY104. Whether you want a Burger and fries, Ice Cream, or a thick REAL Milk Shake
An interesting little roadside stand. I went here for some lunch with a coworker. The food was very good! He had a cheese steak sandwich and I had a chicken sandwich, and both were fresh and piping hot. While it was the winter off-season, the place did look like it would be hopping during the summer. And the staff was helpful. Definitely recommend!
I Stopped in today and got food here for the first time. I've driven by more times than I can count. I ordered the route 104 plate and was dumbfounded with the portion size, it is huge and absolutely delicious. I must recommend the white hots on top as they are delicious I'll now be back every time im in the area. Hands down the best drive in style restaurant I have ever been to.
Orbakers is awesome! I tried the grilled cheeseburger last time we went! It is my new favorite!! So creamy and cheesy! All of the burgers are excellent at Orbakers! Always cooked perfectly and so juicy! We love Orbakers! They have ice cream too! Just a great place to eat!
8/26/25, mid afternoon. Not a fancy restaurant but the service was excellent and quick. Laura was our server. Burgers were delicious and the milk shake was smooth and creamy. My wife got ice cream that I had to help eat. Provo!
Never disappointed with the staff, food or atmosphere…! Only disappointment is with THE CUSTOMERS…! The overall ENTITLEMENT of people today is sickening…! Because if THEY don’t get what THEY want (free water so they can steal soda OR service to the OUTSIDE) THEY withhold TIPS… and YES even ask for the tip back…! Disgraceful customers…!! Take that into consideration when reading any negative reviews.
Service was excellent Ladies behind the counter all very very friendly they take care of you very quickly... I ordered a fish sandwich and french fries fish a little tasting still good french fries excellent they were crinkle cut hot and crispy like they should be... The blue cheese burger excellent, bacon cheeseburger also excellent, french fries all excellent refills on a soda came quick we did not have to ask they were offered.... Sorry forgot to take pictures of our eats...
Very nostalgic place for me stopping here after sports games as a kid. Came back with my partner after a day at the lake, and was so pleased to find they do late night on the weekends. We had a great , made to order meal, and some delicious ice cream to follow it up. Service was so kind, fast, and friendly.
Very pleased to see the changes made by new ownership. Delivering trays to the table for guests is great. The young lady who served us was so kind and even helped me find my lost credit card.
My dad worked here in the 70s and loved it so when we are in town visiting family we always stop in. This was the first visit under new ownership. Food was great but the staff seemed bothered that we had such a large group (4 families) and said we had to put it all on one ticket. That led to several orders coming out wrong. When we went back to counter for ice cream we were ignored. The maple glazed sweet potato fries were amazing though!
Very much a traditional diner. I stopped just for the chocolate milkshake. Very chocolaty, thick but not overly so, and with whipped cream. I would stop again. They do offer some vegetarian options, such as grilled cheese sandwich.
To "Expensive" $41 for only 2 people, Specially for quantity of food, thin burger, big thick burger bun to make it look like alot food, skimpy amount frys too !!
I've been from the east coast to the west coast. Stopping at various diners, restaurants and hole-in-the-walls. This Orbaker's diner/drive-in has a good atmosphere and reminds me of my child hood diner, Woody's. The burger was good, not just the toppings, the meat was fresh 'n' tasty! Fries are cooked, a bit of crunch and NOT limp! Over all, I would say, you have to try it out. Really good burger place! Now for the shake, very tasty and perfectly thick. The reason for 4 stars. Watch what you order and make sure you get it. These are young adults working very hard and as we all have been there, we all have made mistakes. Outside of that, I would definitely stop here again an again. Good place to eat!!!
2nd time here. Two items came incorrect and you could see the cooks were glopus about correcting it. The food was delicious though. I belive this to be a one off experience as we would return again.
I haven't tasted the food. I was there for a field trip for special ed students. The staff was excellent. I'll return to check out the menu!
A little bit pricey for what it is. No place is very cheap anymore. So I'm upset about it. Went in to get a soda, kids working there had been very polite. No matter the place, expensive or not it doesn't matter when the kids working there are polite and kind.
Always a great destination for salty, warm, comfort food. The fish fry is fresh and the burgers are homemade. Maybe they could turn their exhaust fan on or up, or perhaps crack a window – when we were there, the air was quite thick with grease.
The food was good but it took at least 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge we were standing at the counter. That's a really long time considering there were 4 people taking orders. They seemed to be more excited about talking amongst themselves than taking orders. The people in front of us actually left because of the wait. We probably will not return here.
Extremely helpful and polite staff- very refreshing to have such young kids working and being hospitable. I really liked the bar areas- it was nostalgic. Everything was priced affordably. My only complaint is the taste of the food. The burgers were tasteless and soooo thin on a huge roll. Appetizers were typical. I wish I would have tried the sundaes bc they looked good, but I was too full. The dining room was also an area of concern. It smelled musty and like mop water. It was extremely quiet (not complaining about that lol) but I ended up playing some music on my phone bc the silence was too much. I liked the self serve area, where you can refill your drinks and grab condiments. There were lots of places to sit and the booths were very comfy. I visited here in March when it was wet and freezing. I think this place would have been awesome in the summertime where there are places to sit.
The staff just stood around while we were standing there in a totally empty restaurant around 4pm on Tuesday February 6th. We finally ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries with an ice cream. They had a Valentine's special I should have been offered for $30. I added another burger and my total came out to $50 . The money wasn't the big deal because as my followers can see I eat out a lot. Just food for thought. French fries $6.25 is a little on the high side..The burger was very good. That was about it. Sorry the Perry's ice cream and all the flavors is the catch. The ice cream section is awesome
We got a milkshake and some fries. The milkshake was at best okay; it was just milk and ice cream poorly mixed together. Fries were good, could use some more seasoning though. Overall it's okay for it's relatively cheaper prices.
We had a sit-down dinner. The updated tables and benches in the dining area look great! Counter service was comically confused, but they eventually got the order right. The table service was good. The food was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, the dining area is VERY loud acoustically - lots of flat hard surfaces and nothing to reduce the noise levels. Two cute little kids that someone else brought spent most of an hour yelling. You couldn't hear yourself think. The parking lot is still gravel and is exposed to the constant winds, which often carry a lot of dust. The parking lot smelled heavily of excrement and urine. There's no nearby farm, although immediately behind this place appears to be some sewage treatment facility. I'm not sure - check Google Maps satellite view. We'll give dinner here another shot late this year or in a year, to see how the new owner is doing. It sounds like he has great plans, but it's going to take a LOT to improve the atmosphere and make this a delight.
Its okay, not great. The steak burgers was ok, just bland. The fries were good and the service was outstanding.
Fell in love with this place first time I passed by on way to Oswego. Such a great nostalgic presence. Went in today after a few years and was greeted immediately by friendly staff. Unfortunately, at $16 for a burger and fries that both didn’t really knock my socks off (burger was skinny, fries were just from a bag), I won’t be able to justify coming back. — In response to the reply, it’s regarding the price. A high price could’ve made more sense for a higher quality homemade product and less for bagged, mass-produced fries. Not sure what else you think I could’ve meant.
First time here. My friend got a burger and some fries. I got a Bacon Cheeseburger and Mozzarella sticks. Our first surprise was when we went to pay and they did not take cards. They do have an ATM, but of course you get fees from the ATM and fees from your bank to use it. So prepare accordingly. The food was pretty good. I asked for my drink with no ice as usual, but the Pink Lemonade I maybe should have because it was warm. Usually the machine keeps it cool enough. Service was a little on the slow side. I went to get a shake as we left and they didn't have bananas so I skipped and went to Yia Yia's.
Orbakers isn't as good as I remember, and prices have gone up more than similar burger joints I think. The waitress was very nice!
The good and the bad 🤷🏼♀️ Ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago and it was delicious. I thought it was the best thing ever! I tried my first garbage plate and fell in love! That was dine in. Tonight I tried to order the exact same thing. A garbage plate with pulled pork, Cole slaw, baked beans, and instead of fries I ordered sweet potatoe tots. I also order extra sweet potatoe tots. Me and the lady had a conversation about how since it was pulled pork I wanted BBQ sauce. I get home and there's juice from the Cole slaw EVERYWHERE, the bread was soggy, and there was no tots on my garbage plate, and NO BBQ SAUCE. The BBQ sauce doesn't bother me as bad as the sweet potato tots. That's clearly part of the garbage plate I ordered and paid for. I spent almost 50 dollars on that and a burger and fries that my husband wouldn't even eat because the fries and burgers were also soggy! And no I didn't check it before I left, I had a baby 14 days ago and we were just heading home for the first time from the NICU. You expect decent food when your spending that kind of money at a mom and pops diner 🤷🏼♀️ probably won't ever go back or recommend.
I love Orbakers. I grew up in Williamson my whole life. The food is always good. I rated it a 3 because I purchased two 104 plates to go and they were not prepared how i ordered them. Also, I didnt get half my food in one of the containers. I am not happy that I spent that amount and did not get all my food!
Very old school style burger joint and I like that. The food is also very classic and simple. The burgers are average tasting, nothing really special about them. The hot sauce could use more spice. My biggest complaint is the value. When charging $8 - $10 for burgers they should be fantastic (thick & juicy), but they are not. After adding fries and a drink the total cost is so high it makes me wonder why I didn't just make a better burger at home.
We hadn't been here since the new owners. We walked in, say down and waited, and waited. 5-7 girls were gathered in back talking. We flagged them down and ordered. The prices are definitely higher, the burgers are smaller and not as flavorful as they used to be. Food was hot at least. Service was awful! We won't be back until there are NEW owners.
Food way over priced …($17 for a hotdog fries and coke.) Server never smiled …. Our hot dog cooked on one side only …. Bathrooms unclean …. Never again
Our fried mushrooms were a tad burned and the burgers are definitely paper thin these days, you taste bread!
Did not like the food, was not what we thought we were ordering. The server and owner both acted like oh well and nothing offered in replacement. Ended up paying for an extra meal so we could both have something to eat. We pass here one to two times a month and were hoping to find a good spot to stop each time. We will continue to look for a good spot to eat.
UPDATED RESPONSE TO MANAGER. I never said I ordered on your website- I said I ordered online through the link provided on Maps, which I do ALL the time. I've never paid higher prices for a PICK-UP order because what service are they providing- an ordering platform? Grub Hub said it's up to each merchant to upcharge for PICK-UP orders. Say what you want, but my fries were burnt- as in dark brown. The bun choice was mandatory- I could not avoid picking one, so maybe you need to update your settings. If it comes with a certain bun, there should not be a MANDATORY choice without the ONE option it says it comes with. And since you asked- the reason it took so long to contact you was because I was driving home, which took me an hour! Also- I did ask GrubHub for only a PARTIAL refund, and they told me they had to call you and ask- that they don't refund unless the merchant approves. They said that you refused the refund and then denied that anything was wrong with our order. Trust me, I have the facts correct- it was my food. Were you eating it with me? Did you specifically open my bag to see what food I got? No, you didn't. You are the one who needs to get your facts straight. And as far as the photos- I said our food did not look like the photos- not that they weren't your photos. I WISH I had taken a picture of my flat, crispy burger since you obviously need proof! I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews- this was the first time I have ever written one. I'm glad you read them because now you can add rude and misinformed to the list of things that need improvement. Looks like such a cute place and I was really looking forward to an old school juicy burger- especially because they asked how you want it cooked. What I got was thin, overcooked and had the wrong toppings. Same with my husbands. Menu said burger came with a knot roll- I got a plain dry grocery store hamburger bun. The food we got was nowhere even close to the photos posted online. Burger was SO thin and the cheese was shredded !?! and wasn’t even melted. Fries were over cooked. What we paid: $41 2 burgers 2 fries My husband said the prices inside were less expensive than what you pay online. When a restaurant links to “place your order” they don’t usually upcharge for a pick up order. Due to the fact that our order was wrong, and we didn’t notice until we drove away and actually went to eat the food. I politely requested a refund- they refused. Get off your high horse Orbachers, It’s one thing not to offer refunds when your food is so good people can’t get enough of it. But when your food sucks, you get orders wrong and your customer service is horrible. You should rethink that scenario.
Our waitress dropped our food on the floor, offered no service to address the issue other than "its okay, none of it came out" as she put the food back into the bag, asked me for the almost $60 total, without a blink of consideration that floor food is not an acceptable state one expects almost 60 bucks of food to be in. Onlookers were shocked, one even said I should say something as she returned with my change. We have not eaten there since. Just be prepared. Nothing abnormal for what customer service in the food industry has become, just really disappointing.
Was not great, would not recommend. McDonald’s has better food. Very overpriced for the quality. I feel bad for the children working here. Very hot and inhumane in the summer. The potholes are atrocious. Be ready to get an alignment after driving through their gravel pit. Stinky in the summer. I am sure I had seen a mouse in the back while eating at the counter.
Been coming here for years when in town for business. Called in an order, they refused to take the order without a credit card. I told them I was just down the road at Whittakers and would be right there. They would not take the order. Good luck. Won’t be back. You lost a long time customer.
The girl that took our order was the only good part of this visit. She was attentive and super nice. The food tasted horrible. The fries were oily, overcooked and some of them were stale like they refried old fries. My grilled chicken sandwich was soggy but the flavor was ok. The chicken fingers though, omg, the worst, I wouldn't feed those to my dog! They tasted horrible and they had the texture of those cheap school cafeteria chicken tenders. And everything that was fried tasted and looked like dirty fryer oil. The food was not this bad over the summer. I'm not sure what happened but we will definitely not be going back if the quality stays this bad. I truly expected more from a place owned by a reputable BBQ company. Very disappointed!!!
I was ignored as I stood at the counter to order for a total of 20 minutes. Then I ordered through door dash and ordered was incomplete 20 minutes later. Finally the order was put through for two people with a simple lunch order and it took one hour to receive.
I live a good 40 minutes from this place but have driven past it many times and never had the opportunity to stop until tonight. We ordered pickup on the way there through Grubhub. Bad idea as little did we know it cost about 25% more! Didn't realize this until we went inside and saw the prices on the menu. For example, a bacon burger is $8.99 in the restaurant and $11.99 if you order through Grubhub. And the food was terrible. Burgers were thin and small and the crinkle fries were skimpy and overcooked. We expected something similar to Tom Wahl's and what we got was less than White Castle quality!
Went in and got a garbage plate tonight got home and my mac salad tasted and smelled sour. Called and said something was wrong with it. They said you'll have to bring it back in, then we can remake it or give you a gift card. I said I want a refund. They said I'll have to talk to the owner, so I called him he didn't answer, so I called them back and said he didn't answer. The employee said there is another customer that is eating it here and says it's fine and some of the employees tried it as well and they also said it's fine. I said, did you check the expiration date? She said there isn't one because we make it every day. I found that concerning because even when you make something in-house in a restaurant, the employee making it should put a date on it for "first in first out" regulations in a restaurant. Who's to say they don't go through it and have to use the rest of it on a different day? Back to our call, I said, I'll just take the gift card then. She took my information and then said, okay, you'll get a gift card for the mac salad. I said I'm not eating the whole plate because of this. She said, I'll call the owner and see what they say. She called back and said she talked to Dawn and she said not to give me a refund or a gift card. I was already on my way back to the restaurant to give them their food back. When I got there they said we can't give you a refund. I said I know, I guess you could remake me the plate without the mac salad. The employee said call the owner first and see if that's okay. They ended up making it without the mac salad but I will not be returning. The attitude from the employee and the owner completely disregarding customer service as well is disturbing.
Stopped in on way home from 1K Islands, as usual. The place has really gone downhill. Service was meh. EXPENSIVE as heck - $75 for cheeseburgers and fries for the four of us. Unbelievable. Dining room hot, full of flies, dirty, disgusting. Sad to see a legend die a slow death, but this place is a remnant.
Charged 26 dollars for a kids meal because a cup of Mac and cheese was added when confronted the waitress she played stupid and did nothing asked for the manager said he’s the owner was more worried about refunding. 5 dollars then anything gave a 10 dollar coupon that I wouldn’t ever use Or go in there again place is trash service and food is trash over priced save your money go to McDonald’s bring back the old owners because you people have no clue!
Can I give zero stars?? One word, Unsanitary! Where is the health department? This place is disgusting. The food is cheap. I felt like it was an old Wendy's commercial...WHERE'S THE BEEF??!?. Ketchup bottles had dried crust on them. Salt and pepper shakers had smegma on them. Flys are EVERYWHERE. The seats in the "dinning room" are filthy and torn, the floor is sticky and do NOT look at the ceiling. I would eat gas station ice cream before I would eat theirs. Do not dare enter the restroom AND this is new ownership?? Someone told me that the owner also owns a mediocre (at best) bbq place in town but they quit going because the owner bothers them and everyone else while you are dining, like he's a Michelin chef or something. Maybe the owner should spend more time cleaning, than talking. The owner is confrontational regarding bad reviews, and they wonder why no one complains in person. SMH
Looks like such a cute place and I was really looking forward to an old school juicy burger- especially because they asked how you want it cooked. What I got was thin and unremarkable. Menu said burger came with a knot roll- I got a plain dry grocery store hamburger bun. The food we got was nowhere even close to the photos posted online. Burger was SO thin and the cheese was shredded !?! and wasn’t even melted. Fries tasted good but were over cooked. What we paid: $41 including $4 tip because we ordered online. My husband said the prices inside were less expensive than what you pay online. When a restaurant links to “place your order” for pick up I wouldn’t expect those prices to be higher. $4 for a baby size drink! Overall food was meh- prices were 😳 way too high! McDonald’s burger is better- BIG disappointment!!! Due to the fact that our order was wrong, I politely requested a refund. They refused.
I know this is a staple of this community, so my review may not mean much. But I'm from the west coast where beautiful, rich, creative and delightful food is.... this was the equivalent of Bob Whals burgers... blech. Dry, thin and flavorless burger with shredded lettuce and a thin tomato. Hard pass. Never again. Onion rings were not fresh rather frozen but they were okay.
Really unfortunate because I’ve loved the food but be wary of ordering food from Orbakers through DoorDash. My fries were great but I took 2 bites out of my burger and had to spit the 2nd out because the meat was spoiled. We called to let them know, maybe get a new burger made since it was inedible. No apology and was told to take it up with DoorDash, didnt even offer to remake it. So no lunch for me and possible food poisoning! I’m not the confrontational kind of person, I’m not looking for a free meal I just want what I paid for.
Stopped in here for lunch on 11/18. Worst food I have had in a long time at a restaurant. First of all the whole place was full of smoke and they had the windows open with cold air blowing on the seating. I ordered a cheese burger plate with home fires and Mac salad. The potatoes were cold and crunchy because they were raw. The meat sauce was the worst I have ever had. Couldn’t even eat my food the potatoes killed it for me and the terrible meat sauce topped it off. One would think being in an area known for plates they would be able to make a decent plate. My friends fries also came out so over cooked they were inedible. And their burgers were awful. Don’t waste your time or money here. It’s also so over priced compared to the competition it’s ridiculous. The kitchen also had blasting music that was annoyingly loud that we could t even hear each other. This place is a joke
Normally we love Orbakers, but the past two times we've gone the food has been less than OK. The last time we were there, my wife's wrap barely had anything in it and both orders of fries were over cook while being cold on the inside. This tells me that we got old frys that we're sitting around. We always give a place a second chance. That was it. It's too bad.
Don’t waste your money here. This isn’t the place it used to be. Had lunch there and everything we ordered was terrible. Watched the people across from us order what looked like fried mushrooms and they were black from being over cooked. ( the server literally goes most people like them well done and the guy that ordered was rolling his eyes in disgust) My wife’s fry’s were way overcooked and dried out. My burger tasted as though the bun was on the edge of being stale. Go to a reputable burger place and get a quality meal for much less money than this overpriced trash. For some reason the whole place was filled with smoke and smelled terrible as well. Can’t imagine a place like this will be around long. It’s a shame what it’s become.
I’ve heard good things about this place. Finally went & was very disappointed. Ground steak was extremely thin, barely any flavor… just meh. Onion rings had no onions in them. Just fried coating in oil that probably hasn’t been changed in a while. Will not be back… there are too many other local burger places doing a much better job. It was also $70 for people - 2 of them being kids. I’ve never paid close to that at similar places.
