Frequently asked questions about Moro
Moro Wilmington Reviews
I came here as a work dinner, and would recommend it. Our group ordered almost everything on the menu, and no one was disappointed with their choice. It is quiet which makes it better and not in the hustle and bustle of Trolley Square.
Lovely wine selection, excellent food, good atmosphere! We LOVE having dinner at Moro!
Superb dining experience
Fantastico!
Great upscale food with friendly service and a relatively quiet atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. A good selection of beers in bottles and cans are available for $5 apiece. One of the pricier options around Trolley but worth the price. Be careful on the curved front steps!
I do believe they forgot Valentines weekend was this weekend. Understaffed and inattentive. Over an hour and a half to get our food and it was saturated in butter and just warm. It was a very chilly night outside as well as within. We had to eat with a heavy coat on the entire time. Will not be going back after that experience.
Low quality waiters.Uncomfortable atmosphere. Terrible customer service. And the food wasn't all that great. Take my word for it and save yourself the headache.
Not impressed with this place- was here last year and was way over priced and the dinner wasn't anything special
The worst restaurant in the planet. Work for weeks and never got payed.
Had a chance to visit and have dinner at Moro last light. It was date night for my wife and I. She chose a wonderful play, and I chose the restaurant. We arrived right on time for our reservation and was seated upstairs. Although the vegetables were good the entrée were horrible. My wife who loves scallops only ate one of them. My dish, which I thought was describe nicely came to me undercooked. To the extent that as I cut into the Roasted Chicken it bled. Being disgusted and disappointed I returned the item and did not want any else from the menu, I lost my appetite. But that's not the biggest disappointment. The waiter did not apologize, the chef did not stop by the table to apologize (as is customary in upscale restaurant), nor did the manager come by my table to offer an apology and some reservation that this is not how they want their customer to experience MORO. Needless to say, for those reasons, I never go to MORO again. Good luck on your experience.
Hopefully they have ingredients in stock....first thing we were told was literally the list of things not on the menu. Next was how the chef doesn't like exceptions and basically either order from limited menu or not. The waiter didn't know how many specials there was nor knew what they were without looking at his notes. Bottom line if your interested in being told what you should eat or what is good by the chef, then this place is probably for you. If you like to have your own opinion and would like the chef and restaurant to prepare for YOU would like then avoid!
