No matter which drive thru lane I go into, the other lane always gets served first, sometimes multiple times, before I do. I have waited up to 10 minutes before someone takes my code. I order on the app and while ordering is seamless and the food is fine (but usually cold), the whole ordering to picking up process could use a lot of streamlining at this location. Good enough in a pinch, but you can do better elsewhere, even at other McDs locations in Wilson.
Food taste like it was sitting out and it just came through window. KIDS HAD A FIT JUST THREW IT OUT WASN'T EVEN WORTH FIXING. 301 & NASH MCDONALD'S PLEASE TIGHTEN UP!
This is the 3rd week I have come to this location because it’s closest to my house and they have told me the Frappe machine is still down. I shouldn’t have to go all over town to the other locations to get a frappe.
Single meal took over half an hour to get. They are always out of anything that uses the shake machine, and never ask if you would like or give you enough time to request ketchup before they run off if you're ordering in
I had a terrible experience at this McDonald’s. The place was dirty, and even though the line was very short, it took around 20 minutes just to get three Happy Meals. I don’t have any complaints about the food itself, but the cashier was extremely rude and disrespectful. They didn’t even bother to offer the menu or sauces as they’re supposed to. Our order had actually been ready for a while, but they didn’t give it to us until another employee came out and asked about our ticket. Only then did we finally get our food. And sadly, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. We enjoy going to McDonald’s in general, but this particular location is honestly one of the worst.
I feel bad for the 3 employees that were working. They were busy and I sat in line for 30 minutes but the lady still served me with a smile after I mentioned the long wait. But then I got my large fry and chicken nuggets. My chicken nuggets were either cold or not cooked all the way, and I think the latter, but again I'm sure the 1 line cook was overwhelmed and probably hustling. Where are the franchisees when they have understaffed locations? But I'm adding my picture of the large fry, even though I would have not eaten the whole thing, but that's my dog's special treat once every 3 months. I think I'm being given a sign that I wasn't supposed to eat that meal at all. I'll go back only because the lady was very sweet and apologetic

The workers are rude & nasty acting. I sat there for 30 mins waiting on food, and then another 10 mins waiting for a drink that they couldn't even make bc the machine wasn't freezing it properly.…

HORRIBLE!!!!!!! no matter what i’m always waiting little over half an hour for my food, the night shift is seen talking in the lobby chatting and laughing meanwhile im at the third window for 25-30 minutes
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. The cashier was trying her best but needed help and called the male supervisor over and he was extremely rude and disrespectful. Would not help me order what I wanted to order so I ended up walking out. I have had a few issues with this particular location, where I have not had issues with the other Mcdonald locations in Wilson. Trust and believe I will NEVER return to this location!! I paid for my food and I never received it due to his disrespect and attitude. I WILL file a dispute with my credit card company and never return. Thanks for nothing and the “Great” customer service.
There is an old crotchity lady taking orders and being extremely rude to people, telling them to use the kiosk if you don't want to wait. People coming in had to wait for her to come back to the register while she put the to go orders out and yelled at the top of her lungs what the order number was at least twice for each one. My husband asked for ketchup and her response was "WHAATTT? And why isn't there a place to refill your drinks in this store? You sure can't ask for a refill from this woman! People were also sleeping in the lobby. This McDonald's is one of the worst I've seen in a while. So sad Wilson!
I ordered 2 spicy chicken wraps, 2 strawberry with cream pies, and a hot cup of coffee. What I got was 2 cold non spicy chicken wraps, 2 cold strawberry pies and a cold cup of coffee.
Pre COVID this place was great! Nowadays though they almost always leave something out of your order, sometimes several somethings, which doesn't make sense because 95% of the time I order through the app so it's not like they're missing something I've said. They then throw everything from large orders all into one bag, making it hard to see what's missing and super common for the bags to rip and tear as you carry them inside! The fries have gotten way worse, the tea tastes like it has sat around for two days and soured, and they never give you the sauces you ask for. I was so glad when they turned 24 hours again, but not if this is the kind of service we can expect from it!! Update 2026: This place has not gotten any better. Sat there waiting for food for 40 minutes only for them to act like they had no idea what I was talking about, then giving me cold food and fries that tasted like someone pulled them out of their pockets. This place is constantly finding new ways to disappoint people and only maintains the ability to stay open because of its location! The whole crew needs to be replaced from top to bottom!
Very few people in the restaurant we waited and waited at the counter and could not get anyone to give us any service so we had to leave. Good luck hopefully they’ll give you service. 0 spent no service SAD 1 pm
My special order receipts on my burger says XTRA KETCHUP and XTRA ONIONS. In what world does that mean that I want a plain burger?
They parked me for a happy meal and a McDouble and fries I waited 20 minutes so I went inside and told them I was waiting on my food for 20 minutes. I go inside the manager only asked me my order and gave me my food no apology nothing. Nothing at McDonalds is 20 minutes to make. After that the food was bad fries mad hard 0/10 this is why I don’t go to this McDonald’s.
I usually don’t expect much from fast food, but my recent visit to McDonald’s was pretty disappointing. The service felt really slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy. When I finally got my food, the fries were cold and soggy, and the burger looked like it was thrown together in a hurry. The drink machine was out of half the flavors, and the dining area needed a good cleaning—tables were sticky and the trash cans were overflowing.
Will never come back to this place again sat in the drive-through for 12 minutes waiting to order was the only car there then tried the following week I figured I’d go inside maybe it be faster the place was filthy cockroaches running around across the counter the floor total disgusting only giving it one star because I have to at least give one star would give -10 stars
I haven't been coming to Wilson in awhile so this morning I decided to stop at this location upon arriving at drive thru I realize I made a big mistake and should have went to a different one. After trying to ordering a frappe the employee who answered was very very rude and had an attitude, I have worked in the fast food industry with different companies for years and during orientation it basically states leave your personal problems at home and your attitude as well if you're not a people person and can't fake like you are then that's not the job for you. My advice would ls be to be careful because you never know who's on the other end of that mic ordering could be the owner etc. But answering back our frappe machine is still down with an attitude and being rude at a job you filled out the application for and decided to work there. I will not be coming back here to be cut off mid sentence or anywhere am spending my money where people talking to me with an attitude about something I didn't know about and not from the area. Some would have called corporate but I do understand people do need their jobs but that don't give nobody the reason to speak to anyone like that over some coffee not my fault the machine down. -0 stars from me plus the bad experience when I use to door dash there. I don't eat McDonald's food and haven't In over 12 years but because I just recently tried the frappe is the ONLY reason i was willing to start back going to McDonald's.
I had ordered online and waited a little while before picking up my order to give time for order to get completed. I went inside to pick up order and after waiting an additional 25 minutes with no employee speaking to me let alone anyone up front speaking to anyone or taking orders, a man in a red shirt (I assume to be a manager) called that my order was ready. When I went to ask him a question several times he cut me off every single time. He then began yelling over me pushing the bags of food at me. I never have a good experience at this location but this was the first time I left so infuriated I was shaking. It is sad that this is how McDonald's conducts business being a multi- billion dollar company. I do have to say that most locations that I have been to have gone down hill since the ordering kiosks have been installed. Now customer service and customer interaction is nonexistent.
Drive thru has about 15 cars in it, I ordered ahead for mobile order curbside pickup, every car came through the drive through before they brought me my drinks. DRINKS. I didn't even order food, will not return to this location. When she finally brought my drinks out. She brought 5 drinks in a 4 cup carrier, one 4 cup carrier, any of these other McDonald's with half a brain will give you two carriers for 2 cups because they know how flimsy they are. She handed them to me and spilt them over on me and in my car. No apologies, only excuses as to why it took so long. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The older lady that works drive through is rude as hell. She even cursed and the manager did absolutely nothing to her but she came to the window and apologized for the lady’s actions. Never again will I go there!
One of the worst McDonald I’ve ever experienced. I get off late so nothing else is open. I hate having no other choice for late night eats. No nighttime management & the staff is unprofessional. Order always messed up at night. You have to wait 20 mins for someone to even come to the box to take your order. My advice if you can’t come during the day, don’t come to this one at all.
