thank you for such a remarkable experience. The cheese, one oh one and the pesto chicken grilled cheese were above the industry-standard. As a grilled cheese aficionado in connoisseur, I would like to offer my highest compliance to the Chef for both quality of ingredients and overall taste and satisfaction of my experience. We will be in again in sometime in the future. Five stars.
Toasted is super yummy! Grandma loved it so much we were there 3 times in one week! Clean. Friendly staff. Fun design. Grandma wouldn't stop talking about the wall that looks like cheese. Celiac safe!!! They always make me feel super comfortable. Fries always fresh. Food always yummy.
First time visit today and it was great. Not a big location nor a big menu but the food was really good. Super crispy fries, a great tasting Chipotle BBQ pulled pork and Mac n cheese grilled cheese for the win on a rainy afternoon. Maybe slightly too toasted but was still really good. I will for sure come back here.
I think I underestimated this place when it comes to their vegan options!!! They are super satisfying. I've been sticking to their salads because they're just so dang good and flavourful! This one is the vegan Tuscan salad. You also can't go to Toasted without having some of their rosemary truffle fries 😍
Food was AMAZING! First time coming to Toasted in Winter Park and I definitely don't regret it. The atmosphere is very chill, love the periodic table used as decor for different types of cheeses. I had the Vegan sweet heat burger with vegan truffle cheese fries. Talk about freaking good?! Hands down I'll recommend this place to anyone.
Yummmm!! Being dairy free, I don’t even think about eating grilled cheese sandwiches. I stumbled upon Toasted while being in Winter Park for an appointment. This vegan grilled cheese with tomato sandwich was amazing!! So so good. And the huge pile of rosemary truffle fries were also delicious.
Wow... Never thought a place that specializes in grilled cheese could make such a good burger! Juicy burger with perfect bread and the best cheese. The customer service is great too! Josh in the front helped me and my wife chose the right meal. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been.
The Southern Comfort! This was ridiculous. Packed with flavor and more than enough to fill you up, it had mac and cheese, apple wood smoked bacon and cheddar cheese....my mouth was watering before and as i ate. To top it off the service was fast, friendly and quick. Definitely worth stopping by!!!
Finally managed to stop by. They had a separate menu for vegans which is really nice & thoughtful. I usually avoid places that serve meat & only some vegan options cuz they'll sometimes they give u weird looks if u ask about vegan options making u feel unwelcome & uncomfortable. I did not feel that at Toasted. The cute girl at the ordering counter was super friendly, helpful & full of sunshine, made u feel toasty inside, butterflies, rainbows & all. I ordered the veggie melt & truffle fries. The melt was delicious & the fries came in a very generous portion--I couldn't finish & had to box it. I will definitely return when I'm in the area, especially to try their other vegan options.
I have celiac and this is one of the few places where I can say it caters to food restriction and have a wide variety of sandwiches/burgers also, they have a dedicated fryer, so I get to enjoy their delicious fresh fries.
This is a very unique shop I like it. The vast selection of cheeses was great and the cheese periodic table was funny on the wall. I also liked the cheese grader light fixture bar in the front of the restaurant was unique. The the complete cheese grade wall up to the cash register was awesome. I ordered the complete goude attack in the grill cheese section with gluten free bread. Also the tomato soup with french fries. They have a dedicated frier so I could have fries. Score! My friend had the in house veggie Burger and they liked it. It was very vegan. Great place to visit
So i am not from here and i was like "A grilled cheese and burger joint! That has to be interesting.. and the Bolay next door had extremely fake vibes, like Starbucks saying "we love Unions!" I come in and say to the cashier, "I have never been here what's this place like?"" And to my surprise she actually gave me a verbal tour and everything!!! I wasn't expecting much. Or really anything at all once i said that. TL:DR; I ordered the Smokehouse (Grilled cheese with BBQ pull pork and marinara for 8.99 plus tax. It was life-changing!!!!! It has real and true vibes in contrast to the Bolay's overpriced and fake vibes.
I have been to this location pre-covid and overall it was a good experience. We had their regular burger and their truffle fries, bit were good. We had their food cart at work this past Monday and they did not disappoint. Most of their sandwiches were available for us to select from and these were made to order and fresh. You can tell the ingredients are quality. I had the Truffle Melt and it was very good. It came with a side of coleslaw (super fresh) and potato salad (it was okay not a fan and something made it taste unique but still don't know what it was!). Yes, these are fancy cheese sandwiches but sure worth having from time to time and the staff make good suggestions if you ask and they are friendly and nice :)
Fun assortment of grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers and sides (fries, Mac n cheese, etc.) A bit pricey but what isn't these days? It's quick casual to meaning you order at the counter but they bring the food to your table. Does this really require a tip? Probably not, but that's up to each customer.
When in Florida were to go for the best Grilled cheese..its here Toasted! It's a small place tuck in a strip mall next to small cakes cupcakes..with is our next stop for dessert. The staff here is friendly and help us go over the menu...definitely worth the 45 min trip we took When in winter park come check this place out ...you won't regret it
SO, SO FRIGGIN GOOD! I had the buffalo chicken grilled cheese and the flavor and texture were perfect. Crispy bread, melty cheese, just enough buffalo flavor. *chef’s kiss* Don’t even get me started on how delicious the truffle fries are. Service was also very good. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
Came here on a whim for the first time after our first option was too busy. It was absolutely worth it! Went with their Buffalo Chicken and their truffle fries. Absolutely amazing! The buffalo wasn’t too spicy and the truffle oil on the fries is fantastic! If you’re looking for a nice place, great staff, and a nice atmosphere I would absolutely recommend checking this place out
Excellent food wth broad gluten free options. Staff is knowledgeable and conscientious of allergens and food handling practices. Vegetarian protein options include portabella and impossible burgers. Staff was courteous and efficient. Their rosemary truffle fries are one of the best things to ever put in your face!
Great vegan options! These were the best French fries I've had in years! Stood upto the melted vegan cheese till our lunch was finished.
This is my 1st time here. Service was excellent very friendly even suggested i try the big something I forgot the name . The restaurant is very clean ..They have indoor and outdoor sitting. I got the 🍅 🍅 tomatoe soup as well .
Visited with my girlfriend who has a severe gluten allergy and we both got the Pesto chicken sandwich, I added bacon to mine. We also got the tomato soup and roam fries. The sandwich had such a tasty flavor and perfect amount of cheese. The rosemary fries had the perfect amount of salt and were really good too! The tomato soup tasted like it had basil in it, and while I've seen other reviews mention the tomato soup wasn't good, I have to disagree. The soup is perfect on a cold day to warm you up. Haven't been here in a few years but I need to come back more for the Pesto chicken sandwich.
I went here about two weeks ago and I didn’t have a good time. Everything was really good except the mac and cheese which to me tasted a bit dry. The reason why I’m concerned is because after I ate here my tongue started feeling like sandpaper. Sadly I couldn’t eat anything hard without hurting my tongue for days. I still don’t know if this is on them or on me. I don’t have any known allergens to food which is why I’m concerned about their food safety . However, I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt. 5 stars!
I recently visited Toast in and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Here's why: **Accommodating to Allergies:** As someone with multiple food allergies, dining out can often be a stressful experience. However, Toast went above and beyond to ensure I felt safe and taken care of. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about allergens, and they took the time to discuss my options thoroughly, making modifications without any hesitation. This level of care is rare and truly appreciated. **Service:** The service at Toast was not just quick, it was efficient and friendly. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Our orders were taken promptly, and despite the place being busy, our food arrived in no time. The attentiveness of the staff throughout our meal was commendable, always checking if everything was to our liking without being intrusive. **Food Quality:** The food itself was a highlight. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and, most importantly, delicious. The menu offers a variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone, whether you're a breakfast, brunch, or lunch person. The attention to detail in the preparation, especially considering my allergies, made the meal even more enjoyable. **Atmosphere:** The ambiance of Toast adds to the overall experience. It's cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a casual meet-up or a family brunch. The decor and layout make it a comfortable space to relax and enjoy your meal. **Recommendation:** I wholeheartedly recommend Toast to anyone visiting Winter Park. Whether you have dietary restrictions or not, this place caters to all with equal enthusiasm and skill. The combination of great food, superb service, and genuine care for their customers' needs makes Toast a must-visit. You won't just be satisfied; you'll leave feeling delighted and well taken care of. In summary, Toast isn't just a place to eat; it's an experience that combines culinary delight with heartfelt service. Five stars are well deserved!
Saw this place and I got curious. What atrack me was the glutten free option. The girl help me choose and explain everything to me; and am I glad I trusted her my burger was delicious the cheese was gooey and over the top quality. Can't wait to bring my family.
Today was my first time visiting this location in winter park. First the decor and ambiance were good. The seating is a little tight even with some outdoor seating, I can see this location filling up very quickly. The server "Lance" and the rest of the staff from what I can see, "looked like" they really wanted to be there. Lance did a great job setting the expectation of wait time. Today I got the "Smokehouse grilled cheese" and I must say it was better than most grilled cheese type restaurants. The sandwich looked and was presented well and they also gave plenty of well needed napkins. So with One sandwich and one cola it came out to a well spent $12.

It's been nearly 10 years since I have been to this location!! Amazing food!! 💯 Highly recommend: Fig & Goat grilled cheese & Truffle fries with rosemary! Both are so so yummy and the flavors work perfectly together ❤️ 💖
We ordered on Uber Eats. We got the chicken bacon ranch and mac and cheese. Very good!! The sandwich has got some weight to it. Excellent balance between the three flavors. It’s not drippy at all. The green onions/chives are a perfect light addition. Fresh pulled chicken too, not frozen rubbery chicken. Wonderfully toasted on the outside. Very savory. The Mac and cheese side is excellent too! Made with real cheese not fake or powdered cheese, with a butteryness to it. Love the baked sides too! Reminds me of grandma’s mac and cheese.
I went with my family to get late night dinner. The guys were very friendly and allowed us to take our time with the menu. Its nice they make to order. Very pleased with the vegan options. The house veggie patties were really tasty. We will be back! The food was delicious!
Great semi-fast food place, especially if you need gluten free. One in our family has Celiac, so GF is a must and he's never had any issues eating here (and we are regulars). They have great mad-to-order grilled cheese and burgers, and a really cool vibe. Love the cheese-grater lights and periodic table of cheeses.

We ordered the kids grilled cheese, the braised brisket and the buffalo chicken sandwich. A bit pricey though, it doesn’t come with fries you have to order them on the side. The braised brisket sandwich was really good, it has bbq but not a lot, enough to give it a touch of sweetness. The fries were delicious but the kids grilled cheese was all right. it didn’t taste like real cheese and it had a weird after taste.
Came here for the Impossible Burger. Not too busy, but it was lunch time. Ordering was pretty quick. Got my coke freestyle drink and grabbed a seat. It took about 20 minutes for the burger and fries to arrive. Seemed a bit long, but I don't really know the process of cooking an Impossible Burger. Burger was pretty good, if I didn't know what it was, you could probably trick me into thinking it was a beef patty. The caramel onions helped too. It wasn't "bloody" as I thought it would be, but it wasn't dry. The truffle fries had a rosemary seasoning which just made them taste like rosemary, wasn't too bad though. Overall it was ok. Since I came in for something that really isn't their specialty, I can't complain. They did a good job and it's the only place to get the Impossible Burger in Orlando so good on them.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 — Great Food, Clean Space, But Service Needs a Small Fix This was my first time visiting Toasted, and overall it was a solid experience. The food itself was genuinely good, fresh, flavorful, and brought out quickly. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, which I always appreciate. You can tell they take pride in the quality of what comes out of the kitchen. That said, I do have one piece of feedback that I hope is taken constructively. When it’s a guest’s first visit, a little guidance goes a long way. I mentioned that it was my first time and then asked what sides were available. The response I got — “It’s in the middle” — felt a bit dismissive, especially from someone who clearly knew I didn’t yet know how the menu was laid out. It wasn’t rude, just unhelpful. A quick explanation, or even pointing directly to the menu section, would’ve made the interaction smoother. Service doesn’t need to be over the top, but guests do notice effort. When you’re asked for a tip at the end, that’s when moments like this stand out. Dropping off food and giving minimal customer interaction doesn’t really match the expectation that comes with tipping culture today. I say this as someone who wants businesses to succeed: the food and cleanliness are great — just tighten up the first-time guest experience, and it becomes an easy five stars. Would I come back? Yes. The food alone is worth it. But I hope the service matches the quality next time.
I was a little disappointed in my grill cheese sandwich. Wasn't really cheesy and little to none arugula 😞 On the other hand the burger was very tasty and cheesy. Fries were good and salty. Was our first visit and I will give it another try. There are some other item on the menu I would like to try.
Everything you would expect in a well-executed place that specializes in toasted cheese sandwiches. The As Gouda As It Gets chicken sandwich was perfectly grilled, and the spinach keeps it light so you won't feel like you need a nap afterwards. Reasonable prices, efficient friendly service. The tomato soup was just so-so; seemed a bit acidic. Could be personal preference. Would eat here again.

I cannot possibly describe how bad this burger was. Store bought Bubba burgers are better. High School cafeteria burgers are better. It was inedible. Considering the highly competitive burger market these days, I cannot believe this company tries to pass off this clearly mass produced hockey puck. You have been warned. Service and fries were good, so, 2 stars instead of 1.
We tried Toasted tonight for dinner. We ordered the Fig & Goat cheese, the Barbacoa, the spicy Mac and the regular Mac. Everything was pretty one note and missing flavor and texture variances. The combinations didn't really work and left our tastebuds missing out on flavor.

With a very basic menu, you would think they would have combos or lunch specials. Spending almost $15 on an entree and side is too much in this economy. Plus the kitchen and service counter look smaller than the dining lobby. There are more restaurants around this plaza, so what exactly is this place filling? Only grilled cheese is not enough, especially with the quality tasting like a premium panera sandwich.

I emailed / messaged on multiple platforms regarding our disappointment. I received NO response. Based on the customer service alone, I would never recommend Toasted. They did not reply or try to make their wrongs right… My message to management that was ignored through email, Facebook, and their website explaining our incomplete and incorrect order; Dear Toasted Team, I am writing to share my disappointment with an Uber Eats order we placed from your restaurant (Winter Park) last night. Unfortunately, there were several issues that left us very dissatisfied. Our order included: -1 Southern Comfort Burger (medium rare) -1 Sweet Heat Burger (medium rare) -Buy One Get One Free Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwiches (2 total) with Sprites and Mac & Cheese -1 Small Truffle Fries -1 Large Truffle Fries When our order arrived, we immediately noticed that both of the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwiches were missing. These were intended to be our work lunches for the following day, and not receiving them was very frustrating. Additionally: -The Southern Comfort Burger was fine. Although, it used to come with a sauce that was not included this time. -The Sweet Heat Burger, however, was missing its signature sriracha BBQ sauce and was cooked well done instead of medium rare. It was dry and inedible, which is disappointing because I’ve enjoyed this burger from your UCF location before and know how good it should be. To add to the frustration, with prices now over $16 per burger, we thought the buy-one-get-one deal would balance things out. Instead, we ended up paying quite a lot for a disappointing and incomplete meal. I kindly ask that you correct this issue, whether through a refund, replacement, or credit toward a future order. We have enjoyed Toasted in the past, but this experience has made us hesitant to order again without reassurance that this was a one-time mistake. (Uber Eats was unable to properly make it right as the BOGO sandwiches did not compute correctly for a refund) Thank you for taking the time to review this, and I look forward to your response.
The sandwich was cold and soggy, delivered about and hour after it was cooked. Side Mac and cheese as seen in the photo attached. Spoke to the cook / manager .. was told that there is nothing they can do about my complaint... first and last time I'm ordering from this place..
I was excited to visit this place after reading the reviews, and the friendly cashier made a good first impression. The food arrived quickly, but unfortunately, the burger did not meet my expectations. It tasted old and was quite dry, and the description didn't match what I imagined from the pictures and reviews. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning(southern comfort burger)
Not worth your money. The amount of food u get is so small. The sandwich was alright. Nothing impressive. The Mac and cheese was awful. Like your a grilled cheese place, how hard is Mac and cheese. yes they do have allergy friendly options which is great. Idk I spent 20 dollars and im like “on what?” The service was nice and I have no complaints
