Pammie's Sammies Winter Garden Reviews
My husband has been wanting to try Pammie’s Sammies for awhile. They did not disappoint! The first thing that caught my attention was the fun decor and menus that look like music album covers. I love how the theme is carried throughout every detail, even in the bathroom! For lunch, I tried the tuna melt, with sweet potato fries. It is properly named since all the flavors melt in your mouth 😁. My husband had the Cuban, which he also enjoyed. He stated, “It is one of the best that I have had “ So this is a must try and look forward to my next visit
Amazing atmosphere, I came here twice in the same week.. The owner Pam and the staff are so down to earth. && very accommodating. I am in a wheelchair and Pam made sure I had a comfortable spot during their live music so I could see, which was also amazing. I will soon make this my local spot 🤗🤗 Their menu is also to die for… TRY THE CHURRO BITES‼️‼️ 🤤
This place is a amazing!! I love the look and vibe of this entire space. The food tastes amazing and the staff are the best, super friendly and fun! The hashbrown casserole is my absolute favorite side, I'm obsessed! You can eat inside or outside on the patio. This is now one of my go to places to grub. Great job!
Alright! We are crazy locals trying out this spot just off the main strip in downtown Winter Garden & pretty impressed with the cozy cool throwback decor, soda fountain, great patio space & delicious sandwiches. Included are photos of their style Cuban, Pork & BLT sandwiches with sweet potato fries & tater tots. Worth the side street adventure
Stopped in for lunch during Spring Fever in the Garden. Very cool atmosphere with lots of classic rock art hanging and the menus are tucked inside album covers. (I had Machine Head as a kid). There is even a place where you can buy an old album or two. It was busy but the staff was excellent with getting to everyone and getting their orders out. Prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. We ordered the Patty Melt and the Chicken Salad Sandwich. The portions were appropriate and everything tasted great. We just came to town for the plant festival but we want to explore Winter Garden more and when we do, we will be stopping back at Pammie’s Sammies.
Wow! What a unique restaurant! From the outside, you'd never guess there's so much personality inside! Truly a gem! Just so happened to pop in here for lunch and was not disappointed! My girlfriend and I had the mozzarella sticks to start, then for entrees we had: Turkey club with tater tots and a Pulled pork sandwich also with tater tots. To drink, I had a frozen margarita. I wouldn't recommend this because it wasn't that tasty (it was made with vodka because they were out of tequila), however everything else tasted great! Definitely will be returning to eat here!
What a great place to enjoy Rock n Roll history along with great people and great food. The quiet restaurant is in downtown Winter Garden just across from the parking structure. I had the gluten-free hamburger 🍔 and tator tots, and it was really good. My wife had a french dip and fries and also loved it. That staff was really helpful and super friendly, and the atmosphere was awesome. It is a place for a date night or you can bring your whole family. Or just grab a quick bite yourself at lunchtime. Hat's off to the staff and owners. Great job as I will be returning and highly recommend this restaurant 👌 😀 👍
Wow, after contemplating going here for years, Pammie’s Sammies was so much better than we would’ve expected! You absolutely need to check this place out next time you’re in Winter Garden. They make excellent sandwiches (some of them very unique!) and have great gluten-free options as well! We got the “Smokin’ Hot Chick”, which is essentially a hot chicken sandwich with waffles instead of bread, and the “Cubanesque” on gluten-free bread - a very solid Cuban sandwich! Both were excellent, and the Smokin’ Hot Chick was super unique compared to sandwiches at other places. The hidden gem is their sweet potato fries though!! They are the best sweet potato fries we have ever had! We very much recommend getting those fries over any others. You will not be disappointed! This is one of our favorite lunch places in Downtown Winter Garden now!
We visited Winter Garden for a Family Girls day for Christmas and we had lunch here. We ate outside, it was so nice out and the interior of the restaurant is really neat. The menu is placed inside Old album covers and alot of the menu items names are so cute and original. Everyone that worked there was very nice and friendly.
This is really great place to eat food that is very fresh and delicious. My wife and I got the Veggie Wrap and Tree Hugger burger and split them both so we could both try them. The Tree Hugger was good but we really loved the Veggie Wrap. We also really enjoyed our Citrus Hibiscus Orange Stubborn Craft sodas. Gotta come again and try other flavors. The place has a really cool and eclectic setup. The prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.
I had the spicy chicken quesadilla. Not super spicy and there wasn't much cheese which was unexpected for a quesadilla. Despite that, it was delicious. Interior was super cool and funky but tiny. I will be back to try more things. The wait for the food was a while, they were slow when I was there at 5ish.
Great food. Beet salad was excellent. 9 people and restaurant was completely accommodating. Pleasant and quiet so you can have a conversation without yelling over each other. BLT great generous. Southwest chicken yummy. Just good food. We’re visiting Florida and totally impressed with this great kickback restaurant.
My brother and I have come here three times now and each time its been amazing. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is nice aswell and the music selection is always good, and the service is great, everyone is always nice. Its quickly become my favorite spot for lunch in downtown wintergarden.
Excellent vibe here. Good selection of inventive sandwiches. Order at the counter and food is brought to the table. Very friendly staff. Very cute menus. Love the background music. After ordering a tree hugger, the server returned to let me know they were out of buns. I then reordered with the suggested substitution of cianatta only to learn they were out of that as well. My friend ordered Three Little Pigs and also had bread challenges with her order. Our sandwiches were good but we were disappointed in the lack of menu mentioned bread. This is, after all, a sandwich restaurant. The quality of what we had was good and staff was wonderful. Hopefully when I try this place again, the pantry will be well stocked.
I wanted to love this place but it missed the mark... My all time favorite sandwich is a Rueben so when I saw it on the menu I was in. Unfortunately, their version is served with mustard on the bread not the usual thousand island style dressing and there was nothing to substitute except blue cheese and it just was not the same... Also, the corn beef is advertised as house smoked but it tasted like store bought thin sliced deli. For the price the sandwich was small and not stacked with its ingredients so it left me wanting more and something different. Luckily the beer on draft was local, cold and tasty!
Ordered loaded tots for my mom and I. Pros: Good flavor. Guy placing the order was nice Cons: Placed the order at 12:15. Didn't come until 12:50. It was warm at best. Some parts were even a bit cold A table of four ordered after us and their food came first I have no idea what excuse they would have for that but if i ever decide to visit Clermont again i will definitely not come back here.
I've come to this establishment a few times now. The food is decent. But I cannot continue to patronize this business in good conscious. I recently noticed that they've added children's books along the window ledges. Several of these books are of queer and transgender subject matter. Mind you, these are books for toddlers. One book in particular that I browsed was telling young toddler girls that if they like boy activities (like karate) then they are probably really a boy and not a girl. This kind of sexual messaging aimed at young children at a sandwich shop of all places is unacceptable. Unfortunately the management of Pammie's Sammies decided it was ok to plant these kinds of ideas into the very vulnerable, undeveloped, and malleable minds of young children. Fair warning to any parents who may share this concern.
I have tried to reach out in more than one way (and haven't heard back in over a week), but guess it's now time to leave a review. I had place a mobile order the other week, and when I showed up there was nobody at the register (not a big deal) so we rang the bell and waited. (we were the only people in the entire place). After a couple minutes, someone comes up (assuming the cook) and lets us know it'll be a couple minutes, as they're going to knock on the bathroom door and get the cashier out. So we wait...and wait...10 minutes goes by, and nothing. The order should've been ready by now. The cook comes out and again, knocks on the bathroom door, and then lets us know it'll be a few more minutes. 20 minutes goes by, and we're still waiting. The cook has knocked on the bathroom door at least 4 times by now. At this point, our food is definitely finished, and cold. He lets us know the cashier isnt feeling well. We ask for a refund at this point because 1. I don't want to eat cold food, and 2. I don't really want to be rung out by someone who is that sick, it feels unsanitary. The cook lets us know he doesn't know how to use the register, but that if we wait, we can have a refund. We ask him if our food is even ready, to which he says that its BEEN ready and says we can just have it. My fiance asks if our food is cold because it's been almost 30 minutes at this point. The cook offers to remake it, and says we can still have the refund. The food gets remade, and the cashier is still nowhere to be seen, so...no refund. I'm so turned off by the experience that I didn't even eat the food. I was at the point of not trusting it if you had an employee that sick in there. I've contacted through email, and instagram (dm and commenting) and have not heard back. I would still like my refund as I placed a mobile order. I get things happen, but there really is no reason to not have your entire staff fully trained on the register for when situations like this come up. I have enjoyed your restaurant in the past, but I'm not sure I'll be back. I'm not super local to WG and traveled mainly just to get food from your place because I have enjoyed it before...but was extremely disappointed this time.
