PDQ Winter Garden

My wife and I stopped in for lunch after church. Service was good and food was good. Loved the chicken sandwich and fries. Very clean place but the way they call your food needs to change. Wasn't very busy and I thought they called my name to come pickup my order. I got it then sat at the table, found out it was somebody else's order. The need to go to like a number system are simply speak clearly. But I also blame myself because I should have asked to make sure.

Tried this place while gathering with some friends who happened to be in the area. This was a Sunday early afternoon, and initially, there was hardly anyone there. That changed before too long, but the place never got "full". The menu showed a decent variety of sandwiches and chicken strips. There is a kid's menu, too (I know that is important to some folks). I got a five piece chicken strip basket with waffle fries. There are a variety of sauces to try with your chicken and fries. Although everything tasted good, "spicy" is not all that spicy, and "hot" is not all that hot, so if your hot and spicy tolerance isn't all that high, I would give what they call "hot" and "spicy" a try, because the flavor value is certainly there. This includes chicken and sauces. They had peanut butter cookie samples, which got mixed reviews from all at our table (two thumbs up, two thumbs down, and an "I'm allergic". Fair enough). The fountain drink machines are great! Select a large variety of options and add a multitude of flavors (I love those kinds of machines). Their sweet tea was pretty darn good, too (which was the option that I leaned towards the most). A cute and clever addition was that of a wash basin to wash before eating (always a good habit, let's stay healthy), or maybe rinse your hands after done eating. All in all, it was a pretty good experience, and I would definitely go back if in that area again. Would recommend you to try it at least once.

A pretty good location for the most part. The chicken overall tasted good, but my sandwich was definitely lacking some breading compared to my bf's nuggets which were coated very well. I also felt that the piece of lettuce they gave me was a bit obnoxious and that it would've helped to cut it into smaller pieces. The service was also a bit on the slower side despite it being lunch when we went. However, I will chalk all of this up to the location being new and only open for a week. I'm sure over time the location will get it's groove. Overall I'm just happy there's finally a PDQ near me!

I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, 24 chicken nuggets, and a crispy chicken spicy salad. The chicken sandwich was excellent – loved the nice spice paired with the sweet and sour pickle. The salad was good, though it would have been better if they hadn’t forgotten the dressing. The nuggets were a hit with the kids. The drive-thru was a bit slow, and we had to park to wait for our zucchini fries. My wife really enjoyed them, but I found them too salty. Overall, good food but some room for improvement with the service.

Overall pretty good, however I can’t give 5 stars as they got rid of one of my favorite items which is the Zuchini fries. Also they don’t have just a regular hot sauce. The location is great.

Great service both times I have been in there. It's also pretty quick. The sandwiches are good I only wish they packed a little more chicken. Overall not a bad place for fast food. Just over $11 for a sandwich meal.

Very disappointing experience tonight. I was served a chicken sandwich with barely any actual chicken, mostly batter, no proper fillet. I politely raised this with the chef working and was met with a rude, dismissive, and abrupt attitude. He insisted the sandwich was fine and treated the situation like I was an inconvenience. When he remade it, he showed no basic customer service and essentially slammed the replacement sandwich down with an attitude. The replacement sandwich was what the original should have been, confirming my complaint was valid. Management should be aware of how customers are being treated.

Literally, the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at any fast food place and that includes McDonald’s. i’m a student in the Disney college program and I had placed an order for multiple orders at this location. When I went to pick up my order they handed me one of the two orders in discussed as the second order they canceled and said I wasn’t allowed to have it. They thought that I was trying to steal from them when I had paid for my order through the app completely unprofessional, and they made me leave the store. I will never be returning and I recommend that any other Disney college program applicants in the future Future do not dine at this establishment.

I frequent the Winter Garden store on Western Way at least 2 to 3 times a week. The last few times I was very disappointed. Three visits ago, they forgot my garlic bread, not a huge big deal, but it's a part of the meal and expected as promised. Second to my last visit, they gave me not only rotten, but cold and uncooked broccoli. It was disgusting and since I stop in there cause I'm at work, I couldn't go back and return it. My last time, which was tonight, they proceed to give me my order, and there was literally 3 broccoli florets in the dish and I'm not kidding. The service has gone downhill and I'm extremely disappointed cause I pay my hard earned money and they were my go to. Not anymore.

Unfortunately, ever since the current operating director of this location started, quality has steadily gone downhill, and I’ve noticed that in other customers’ recent reviews too. We’ve experienced many negatives such as: - many incorrect orders (in-app, DoorDash, and in-store) - removal of menu items such as green goddess sauce from the grilled PDQ sandwich and the spicy crispy/breaded nuggets/tenders (the new spice rub is awful) - salads with rotten and wilted greens - multiple times of ordering salads with “extra chicken” and only getting a handful of grilled or crispy chicken pieces despite paying the extra upgrade, will also add that sometimes these chicken pieces are the sizes of nickels - employees in the store, especially around evening times, are more interested in goofing off rather than paying attention to customers - it’s super obvious since the restaurant has an open kitchen that all customers can see. We unfortunately will not be returning to this location as these people are NOT dedicated to quality.
