Panullo's Italian restaurant Winter Park Reviews
Took a trip down to Winter Park with my son for his first train ride and he wanted pizza for lunch so I decided to try Pannullo's. Got there about 10 minutes before they opened but was very warmly greeted at the door and was told we could go ahead and sit down inside. Loved the atmosphere inside as it felt like a pizzaria...but better? Morgan, whom was our waitress, was awesome: attentive, patient, and did a great job interacting with my son. So much so that he talked about her on the way back to the train station. We ordered the kids pizza and a two slice lunch that came with a drink. Both pizzas seemed fresh and were a decent size. My son couldn't finish half of his and he's a big eater for only being two! Definitely recommend eating here - a great place to go even if it's for a quick lunch, plus it's kid approved!
I’m favorite Italian restaurant in Florida. This place is on point. Quick service friendly respectful servers. Excellent food!!! 10 stars if I could. We go minimum once a month and the food and service are always excellent. We always order something new from the menu to see how it is and we don’t have any complaints. Even when I order on DoorDash the food is incredibly delicious. Looking for good Italian food and atmosphere this is your place!!! Thanks to the hada that make this amazing food!!
We had the please of having Bookette as our server. I was so in the mood for lasagna and they delivered an amazing dish. This is spot that is just fun to eat at we sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance. I will go back to try another dish.
Aniyah Was an amazing server everything was spot on perfect the bruschetta was so amazing. The salad was very full and had the best homemade blue cheese dressing. The bread that you dip into garlic oil was so delicious and the pasta of course was amazing. Definitely would give this place at least a 10 star.
I really liked this restaurant! I had a delicious Italian sandwich that was huge so I split it with my friend. It came with a yummy pasta salad. For dessert we split a cannoli, which was also awesome. Our server was great! We'll be back.
The absolute best, authentic Italian food ever! Service is great and workers are friendly, food tastes amazing, and a great atmosphere for family. 110% recommend to anyone wanting to try good Italian food! The cannoli's are to die for! Prices are fantastic priced compared to the portion sizes given.
My husband and I love a stroll in Winter Park and eating at Pannullos!! Lunch or dinner is always amazing!! We are foodies! Their salads, soups, pizzas, sandwiches, bread, entrees are all delicious!!!
Great experience at Pannullo’s! The $28 menu was definitely worth it, generous portions and very tasty dishes. The service was attentive and friendly, Anthony was an amazing server!!! and overall the atmosphere made the meal even better. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good Italian food at a great value 🙌🏼
We had the shrimp pesto and mayo mahi linguine. Amazing taste. Their magical menu is also a great option though we wanted the apple cheesecake for dessert (scrumptious). Will definitely come back!
Still one of my favorite places to eat Italian food! The quality is great and I enjoy the outdoor seating. I love the Lobster Ravioli and calamari. My husband favorite is the Chicken Marsala.
I already knew it was going to be a good dinner the way we had no problem getting a table. Somehow timing was perfect and I was so fortunate to get an outside table on a Friday night with my dad. Our server made us feel like we were the only people dining, and it was full restaurant! The dishes tasted homemade, straight from scratch, and it was clear they put a lot of attention into their plates. We got Chicken Marsala, Lobster Ravioli and the Muscles as a starter. The only change I would have made was order the mussels with white sauce instead of red, but you literally can't go wrong. Drink menu was pretty good too, I can't remember the bottle my dad and i shared but it was delish, we had never had it before. Authentic Italian, and the inside decor made you feel like you were sitting in Little Italy. I WILL be back!
We love the antipasto salad. I’d recommend the dressing on the side. The small salad was great as a side salad for two. Husband loves the mussels. He always gets the dinner portion. Crusty Bread is the best Try it with butter. I had an artichoke, p ham and sun dried tomato 2 piece pizza - very good.
We recently had my daughter‘s wedding rehearsal dinner here and the food and service were fantastic. We had 30 + people and a few even had food allergies. The owner-Michael was super friendly, responsive and accommodating. The wait staff took really good care of us and our waiter even came back over at the end of the night just to tell us how much fun he had serving us and hehoped we‘d be back. They set us up with 3 long tables and I heard nothing but good comments about the other servers as well. I highly recommend the fettuccine alfredo with blackened chicken as it’s my favorite there. The tiramisu was tasty too!
We recently celebrated a birthday here with a large group at Pannullo's, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! Mike and his team were incredibly flexible in accommodating our party size, and they went above and beyond to make everything feel seamless. One of the most thoughtful touches was the personalized menu they created just for the birthday—it had our guest of honor’s name on it and a few dishes featured. It was such a unique and meaningful gesture that really made the night feel special. The service was outstanding—genuine, attentive, and warm. We truly felt like we were being welcomed into a family celebration, not just dining out. If you’re looking for a place that puts heart into their hospitality, especially for special occasions, this is it. Thank you for making the night so memorable—we’ll definitely be back!
We enjoyed an offsite surprise party for my son last night catered by Pannullos Italian Restaurant in Winter park. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the quality terrific. We were very pleased To Michael, thank you my friend
We were very pleased with our experience. The food was great, the service was on point, and the location was convenient and cute- right downtown within walking distance of everything. The caprese salad was fresh and tasty, the bread homemade, and the pasta and sauces were really good. The carbonara sauce in particular was perfect- creamy and garlicky. Our server was so attentive and friendly, would definetely go back again.
This is one of our favorite places to eat and we almost always stop by for lunch when visiting Winter Park. We've had several menu options and have yet to be disappointed. The staff has also always been very pleasant. There are several other places we'd like to try in the area but we can't help coming back to Pannullo's time and again. It's become a tradition for us and I hope it will for you too!
Love the Lobster ravioli and calamari, also the chicken Marsala, Veal Piccata, Mahi Piccata. They also do family specials and meal of the day deals on FB we love to try as well.
After seeing the student play at Rollins, we headed to Pannullo's restaurant for dinner. It was a very crowded evening but the service and the food were outstanding. We love coming here for dinner as we feel like family with the attentive service and wonderful food.
Beautiful place. Elegant setting. Amazing pizza. My grandson ate every bite, except crust😊 Highly recommend when visiting Park Avenue.
This was one of my first times in my long life eating Italian food. We do not have these type of restaurants where I live. They have bread with a garlic sauce that is mixed with anchovy paste. I loved it so so much. Chicken Parmesan was fantastic.
My wife and I celebrated our 26th Anniversary! We were greeted “Happy Anniversary” multiple times. Ask for Nick…his service was personable and he went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. My wife had the pesto with Scallops and one of the owners (Michael) had the chef make a special spicy marinara and Grilled shrimp for me that was not on menu (Spicy Shrimp Fra Diavolo). We also started with the must have Salmon Bruschetta as well as the calamari. The house salad and dressing was very good! And we finished the night off with double espressos and their signature apple pie cheese cake. All the food was exceptional, well presented and came in large portions. First class all the way!
Went on a Friday night without reservation and they were able to seat us right away which was nice. We try to be ready to order everything after receiving our drinks, so we placed an order for the bruschetta caprese & our main entrees. Not sure if it was busy enough in the kitchen or FOH, but it did take longer than expected to receive our app. Didn’t take long for entrees to come out after we finished the appetizer. I got the Scallops Carbonara for my main & it was very tasty, however the scallops were a bit on the chewier-end. Love the bacon & peas in the pasta, and the sauce was nice and creamy. Service was nice and prompt. 👍🏼
This was my first time in Winter Park, my boyfriend and I wanted to try this restaurant out and I can say it was amazing!!!! 10/10! I cant remember our waiters name but he was just amazing and so so kind! Love love how peaceful it is inside and the food was entirely delicious! I got the lobster stuffed ravioli with a salad and my boyfriend the clam lenguini. Everything was perfect! Such a well spent day!
Second time here and the service was as wonderful as the first time! The bread included is great. Both pasta dishes we had were served with phenomenally flavorful sauces that were authenticly and thoughtfully crafted. My one and only complaint would be that the water served was fairly terrible BUT a swap for an iced tea or diet coke was an easy fix. The great quality of the food and reasonable price more than makes up for the water.
Claro! Aqui está uma versão mais amigável: This restaurant has such a cozy vibe! The soft lighting and fresco-covered walls make it feel warm and inviting. Plus, the staff are so friendly and attentive—they really make you feel at home. The pasta? Delicious! And the pizza was a total hit with the kids—it disappeared in no time. As for me, I had the lasagna, and it was amazing! So creamy, full of ricotta, and you can choose to have it with or without meat. Everyone left happy and full. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again! Espero que goste!
First time visiting, my Mother has been wanting to been wanting to go since forever. A cute restaurant on Park Avenue in Winter Park. So we went during COVID19 and the servers has on masks and practiced social distancing. Our server was friendly and answered all our questions. As my Mother drank her sangria she starts giving the wall the side eye. She indicated it was good and strong. We ordered Cheese Triangles, and for our main course Chicken Marsala. Very, very, good, great place. On Friday we went as a family I brought my son and you know it’s good when a man sits there and eats in silence. We tried the Ravioli, Chicken Parm and the Apple Cheesecake. This time my Mother was sitting sideways after some sangria..Very, very, good food. 😁😁❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been coming here since the late 1990’s and will continue to. The food is always excellent as well as the service. Plus I’ve known the owners Richard and Michael just as long as I’ve been dining there and always come out to talk if they are they are there. Best Italian food in town and will always be my favorite. We spent Valentines Day there this year and actually got engaged there a few years ago. As you can see we got a little silly with the pictures. The waiter who was excellent kept taking them. My Wife kept trying to get me to say cheers but I didn’t hear her. Look at our facial expressions. Lmao
This charming restaurant exudes warmth with its inviting ambiance and attentive staff. Ellora, our waitress, provided exceptional service, and Michael was a sweet owner, creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere. The top-notch cuisine, especially the impeccable pasta, truly impressed us.
1. Caprice bruchetta - good but we were hoping for slices of tomatoes and mozzarella 2. Muscles in red sauce - very good 3. Tiramisu - excellent!!! Large portion as well. Delicious! Photo is "what we took home" 4. Would be better atmosphere if they were playing Italian music 5. Service was excellent as well 6. You can tap pay with your phone
This Italian restaurant is a five star place for service and food. The waiter was excellent, very attentive. The food was delicious. I had the bruschetta caprese for appetizer and the fettuccine carbonara with blackened chicken for the main course paired with their delicious house red sangria. I topped the evening off with a cappuccino after dinner. The bread was perfectly baked and had a perfect crust, crumb, and crunch. The carbonara had just the right kick and the blackened chicken was perfectly done, juicy and flavorful. My friend had linguine with clams served with the white sauce and paired with a white Riesling which he described as fragrant and an ideal match for his meal. This restaurant has a distinctly tuscan atmosphere with the decor mimicking brick construction and old, worn stucco. A good pick for dinner on a Saturday night.
Delicious food and one of my new favorites in Winter Park. Happy hour consists of $6 select appetizers (lobster ravioli and bruschetta shown in photos) and $6 house wine. I got the chicken giuseppe entrée and my husband got the alfredo pizza. Everything was excellent! Highly recommend 👌
Morgan was absolutely amazing. The food here is always super good but it was swell with the weather, and ambience and service. I’ll eat here any day of the week!
A review well past-due. My family and I have been going to Pannullo's for over 13-years. A classic and traditional dining experience that will remind you of the "good-ol days," where service, hospitality and quality food are the highlights of your evening. Whether its my wife and I, a family birthday, or a table of 9, with 2 infants and 1 toddleras, as was the case last night, the service never fails. Last night KC took amazing care of ALL of us, allowing us enough time to deal with our children, but being immediately available for our order once ready. For apps we ordered: calamari, the meatballs, bruschetta caprese, and a house salad. For entrees: Tortellini Carbonara with blackened chicken, Scallops Pesto, Lasagna with meat, Grilled salmon over garlic spinach, with a side of truffle fries, and one couple shared a fresh oven-baked pizza. Everything was absolutely amazing, Chef Pannullo himself made his way to our table to greet us and ensure our evening was nothing short of perfection. Lastly, DO NOT LEAVE without ordering some of Chef's home made cheesecake. We ordered the Golden-stuffed Oreo cheesecake, and like everything else, IT DID NOT DISSAPPOINT!
Wow first time here and I was very impressed. I love Prato which is a few doors down and thought I’d try this place and it was insane. The prices are amazing and the food is delicious. The Caesar salad was the best I have had in Orlando…the croutons were so fresh. I had the tortellini carbonara and was obsessed, so creamy and flavorful. My friend had the gluten free Alfredo and loved it, they offer GF options for pasta and pizza which is a great touch. Bryan was our server and was happy to answer all my questions and suggest some great items! He was amazing
We had a wonderful experience dining here in Winter Garden! The staff recommended the scallops and carbonara, but we decided to try the shrimp scampi and the frutti di mare instead — both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. It was a Monday night, and we were surprised to see that it was the only spot on Park Avenue that was packed with guests — a true sign of how popular this place is. The atmosphere was lively, the service attentive, and the overall vibe made for a great evening. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Italian food, great service, and a warm, welcoming setting. We’ll definitely be back!
Stopped here with the Mrs. for what I expected to be overpriced, tourist area, "Italian" food (quotation marks added to accentuate my expectations)... I was extremely surprised and, delighted, to have my expectations completely shattered. The prices were reasonable, the food was excellent (the portions matched the prices which, again, were reasonable): everything from the appetizer to our main courses was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be coming back the next time we're in Winter Park.
We ate at Panullo’s yesterday evening and sat outside on the Patio. We ordered a pitcher of sangria to capitalize on the free bruschetta that comes alongside it. The sangria was sweet, and the bruschetta was very yummy. My fiance got the tortellini carbonara and i got a mushroom flatbread with chicken. Both were delicious and great quality. The atmosphere was cute, i much prefer the patio to the inside seating. The service was excellent, allowing us our space to sit back and relax while also checking up on us. This was my third time at Panullo’s and I’ll definitely be back again. Keep up the great work!
I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend and his huge family. They were able to accompany all 15 of us without a reservation, which was extremely impressive, and the staff was very friendly and patient with us. My boyfriend and I had the stuffed shells, sangria, bruschetta, and Caesar salad with blackened chicken. While it wasn’t anything to write how about, it was very classic and tasty anyway. We also loved the Tuscany vibes inside
OMG! What would I do without Pannullo's? Everything here is delicious! The pizza the pasta! Made it so fresh, you just want to come back every day! The Lobster Stuffed Ravioli is to die/kill for! Very generous portions, and a feast to the pallet at every bite!
We had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant in Winter Park. The food was absolutely delicious — we tried the chicken parmigiana, the fettuccine alfresco, and a calzone, and everything was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was warm, vibrant, and truly special. We went as a family, and every single one of us enjoyed the meal from start to finish. The service was excellent, the ambiance was spectacular, and the whole experience made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!
Visited the area for the first time and stopped here for lunch. Got seated quickly and service was wonderful! Our food was some of the best Italian we’ve had in a long while and the pricing was among the more affordable in the area. Definitely recommend eating here and will be stopping by again next time we’re in the area.
A not-so-hidden gem of Park Ave! This place is one of my favorites. The food is delicious and so reasonably priced, especially for the area, service is always great, and they have 3 types of seating which is nice (fully outside, outside covered patio, and inside). My go-to has been the stuffed shells for a while, which is the perfect amount for me to feel comfortably full. I added a Caesar salad tonight to start off with something a little lighter. Definitely recommend Pannullo’s!
I had the lasagna with ground beef. It was very fresh, light for lasagna, filling and yummy. I'm coming back! You must request the bread with the meal (do it, it's very good). The service was great and for a busy Saturday, I was impressed.
One of the best shrimp carbonara I've ever had. Relaxed and calm atmosphere, pleasant to enjoy with friends and family. Good presentation and portion. I took my half to go. The service was excellent. I'll be right back. I totally recommend it. After eating, just take a walk around the area.
This is a great restaurant in Winter Park. The outside seating is fantastic, and the food is great. The menu is very reasonably priced as well. The staff is kind, and attentive. I highly recommend!
We had our rehearsal luncheon here and were extremely pleased. Michael was great to work with, the food was amazing, and the service was friendly and efficient. The setting is lovely too. Our favorite dishes were the Portabella Teracina and the Fettucini Alfredo with Blackened Chicken. I highly recommend this restaurant for just casual dining or for a special event.
Update: 05/10/2022 went back again! Me and my friend had a fabulous time! Loved it! I really enjoy going to Italian restaurants! The food was delicious 🤤. Me and my friend sat outside, the outdoor seating was great even tho the Florida sun was a little bit hot today. The inside was a nice, low light atmosphere vibe.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Found my new favorite spot in Winter Park! @Pannullos has it all: ✅Cozy, inviting vibe ✅Absolutely delicious food ✅Next-level service (shoutout to Kathy!) ✅Surprisingly affordable Stop scrolling and go! You won’t regret it.

The food truly shines with rich, homemade flavors—you can tell everything is prepared with care and tradition. Every bite tasted fresh, comforting, and authentically Italian. I’ll definitely be back @Travelingfoodguys APPROVED 👍👍
I had my birthday party catered by Pannullo’s, and they absolutely delivered. I worked with Michael, who made the entire process feel effortless. From the fresh caprese to the decadent lobster ravioli, every dish was a crowd‑pleaser — people were raving all night! What really sets Pannullo’s apart is the warmth of the team. Working with Michael felt like working with family. And Johnny, our server, was a total gem — all smiles, incredibly attentive, and always one step ahead. He kept the trays full, the flow smooth, and the vibe upbeat from start to finish. Delicious food, genuine hospitality, and plenty of laughter… you really can’t ask for more. If you want your guests to have a fantastic time, I can’t recommend Pannullo’s enough.
I hosted my baby sprinkle this past weekend with over 40 attendees. I had never had panullos before but it was close to my in laws house. I called and worked with Michael. I asked him if he could provide me with a menu for my guest count and he did (less work for me) . He was easy to work with, punctual , and overall great customer service and actually made changes I asked for them. Everyone who attended my event enjoyed the food . I am on day 3 of eating the leftovers and it’s still as good . Overall I’m so glad I chose them to cater my baby sprinkle
Pannullo's Italian Restaurant has quickly become one of our reliable go-to spots, and after several fantastic visits, it’s clear why. This isn't just a place for a quick meal; it's where you go when you're craving authentic, satisfying Italian food served in a genuinely versatile and pleasant setting. The food is consistently excellent, but we have a few standouts that keep us coming back. The stuffed shells are pure comfort - rich, creamy, and served with a robust sauce that tastes like it's been simmering all day. For something truly special, the Frutti di Mari is an absolute must. It’s packed with fresh, high-quality seafood, perfectly cooked, and served over pasta in a savory sauce that is vibrant and deeply flavorful. And let's not forget the pizza - perfectly crisp crust, balanced toppings, and always delicious. Whether you're in the mood for an indulgent pasta dish or a classic slice, Pannullo's delivers. What sets Pannullo's apart is the variety of dining experiences they offer. Depending on your mood or the weather, you have your choice of dining inside for a cozy, classic ambiance, enjoying the fresh air and slight coverage on their covered patio, or soaking up the street energy with sidewalk dining. Each option provides a distinct, enjoyable atmosphere. If you are looking for an Italian meal where every bite feels homemade and every visit is a delight, you need to try Pannullo's. We’ve never been disappointed!
Went to Pannullo's last night, first time there. Our visit left me with a feeling of "How did I not check this place out earlier?!". It's simply one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to- Warm & cosy atmosphere, bustling without being too noisy; one could still have a conversation. Cheerful & welcoming staff; our server Logan was like he knew us from before 😊 The food & drinks here are so delicious, we loved it👌 We had the Cheese Triangles & Bruschetta to go along with a pitcher of Sangria. Entrees we ordered were Stuffed Shells, Ricotta Terracina & Pasta Primavera. Everything was served hot & so very delicious😋 Logan kept checking in on us every once in a while, without being intrusive. We topped our meal off with a slice of yummy Tiramisu. Lively atmosphere, excellent service, delicious fare, plenty of vegetarian options- what more could one ask for?! One of the best dinners out I've had in recent memory, great place to visit👍 Update on 01/03/2026: We went for lunch. It was a landmark birthday for my wife. I specifically mentioned that in my reservation request (made thru Google), & once again when I talked to a live person to let them know we were running about 15 mins late for our reservation. I specifically told the person that it would be great if they could please do a tiny little something to make her feel special on her birthday. The least I expected was just a tiny little cupcake with a candle at the table, or maybe a glass of wine for her, or at least just a "happy birthday" with a smile. NONE of that ever happened. I tried to mention that it was my wife's birthday when we were ordering dessert- they didn't acknowledge it. I believe it was one of the owners along with our server Morgan who was there at that time. We were so extremely disappointed. Are you so cost-conscious that a tiny cupcake is too expensive? Even if so, come on Pannullo's, what does it cost to at least say "happy birthday"? I expected you to know it was a special occasion, having mentioned that in my reservation request as well as verbally over the phone. Taking away a star from the overall rating & the service because of this.
We visited around 4 pm during the week, it was quiet at that time. We ordered a cheese pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. The food was good, came quickly and was hot. Would recommend fresh parm cheese though. Our server was very quick, attentive and kind. The ambience was very pretty and pleasant. One thing that I took off a star for, the ONE restroom really needs some overhaul. You can tell a lot about the cleanliness of a restaurant by the restroom. This was our first visit and would love to frequent if they fix the restroom issue.
The dressing for the house salad was the best I’ve ever had! Many salads said they came with Kalamata olives, but we were served black olives. Further, this is NOT a kid friendly atmosphere. It’s more of a first date or girls night then for families. Super dark inside but that creates the ambiance. Bread is available, but only upon request. No butter for the kids, just olive oil and garlic. I’d definitely go back, but not as a family.
Very good Italian food. Food is tasty and full of flavor at a very reasonable price. Their sangria is pretty good as well. It is a hidden gem in downtown Winter Park.
Charming spot with friendly, efficient service, excellent food, reasonable pricing, a variety of Italian standards and wonderful dessert menu. Many gluten free options with both gf pasta and gf pizza crust available. Lovely area of town for a stroll and free street parking on a hopping Th night was easy to find within 1-2 blocks. The greek salad and Caesar were both fresh and flavorful, lobster ravioli had big chunks of lobster both in and around the ravioli, scallops were tender and perfectly seared, gf pasta carbonara was creamy with plenty of smoky bacon, peas and amazing pasta option no one could tell was gf. Servings were big enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The hot fresh bread was welcoming. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Definitely will return to this spot.
Our first time trying this place. The menu has variety of options for Pizza, Pasta, a lot of chicken options, handful of seafood options, and I believe few beef options. I tried Primavera pasta with olive oil and garlic sauce with blackened chicken. My wife tried the seared tuna since they were out of Salmon and other fish that she wanted to order. My good was delicious. Meanwhile it had extra olive oil sitting in plate and somehow salty for me. Other thing i would like to bring to your attention is that when you order pasta or seafood, you can order side of salad or soup optional for extra charge. However, our server was trying to trick you and instead is asking “would you like to add soup or salad as side?” He was asking “Do you want soup or salad on side?” Which the price was few dollars and I never care about it but the approach is not professional. Overall they get 3 to 4 star. To be fair, let’s give them 4!
Patti our server was excellent, answered our questions and made recommendations. Chicken Copertino was great and flavorful. Pizza is delicious.
If the food was prepared as ordered it, I would have given 4 stars. I ordered the blackened Mahi sandwich with crispy fries. My Mahi was not blackened. I really wanted a meal I’m not able to cook at home. Re-ordering my lunch wasn’t really an option because we came as a group together on the Sunrail and had a deadline on time getting back. For a group of twelve ladies Becca did a phenomenal job!!! Drinks and appetizers were promptly brought to our table and our lunch arrived a short time later. Our glasses were never empty. The decor or the restaurant is charming, but a bit dark. Since we arrived by Sunrail we didn’t need private parking but I can certainly see where parking is a major concern.
Randomly stopped here for dinner with a friend. The food was good. The entrees took a while to come out, but the waiter comped our appetizer because he noted that we did have to wait a long time. I appreciated that immensely. I’ve been to Park Ave many times and never gave this place a chance, but I will likely be back to try some other menu items in the near future.
Had a lovely Valentines Day lunch at this Italian eatery on Park Ave in Winter Park. Nick was our server and he was the son of the owner and a complete sweetheart! Started with antipasto salad (would recommend skipping and ordering the bruschetta instead). Ordered the linguini and clams in white sauce. Plenty of clams and garlic and you know when it’s good when you mop up the sauce with the bread! BTW…. Bread is from NYC bakery and just perfect. Plenty of outdoor seating. Highly recommend.
Came here after reservations at another restaurant fell through. We were initially told it would be a 45 minute wait, but were seated after less than 5 minutes which was amazing. We got the bruschetta caprese which was sooo delicious I actually still think about it and wish I could get more. I had the salmon Piccata which was pretty good, but basic. The chicken Giuseppe was also yummy and more unique in flavor. We had a good time and the service was pretty fast for a Friday night.
We went to celebrate my boyfriend's 37th birthday at Pannullo's and the restaurant's decor is not as appealing as other restaurants on that block. It is a tad lackluster. However, we ordered the lobster ravioli and by far the BEST lobster ravioli I have had. What it lacks in decor and appearance, it hands down makes up in its lobster ravioli. They were also very kind about us bringing in our own cake, they lit it up for us.
Quality food in a nice atmosphere. They've been here a long time. Server was very nice and helpful. Mussels were fantastic. Flatbread was good, not amazing. Kid's fries were very good, but burger overcooked/charred for medium well. Merlot choice was great. Pricey for what you're getting, but it's expected on Park Ave.
La comida es deliciosa! Buena atención. Un lugar familiar. Excelente ubicacion. Recomiendo comer aqui. Espero que en adelante nada de lo mencionado cambie.
The food at Pannullo’s was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. During the middle of our main course, our server, Anthony, offered dessert in a way that felt rushed and inconsiderate, as if we were being hurried to finish our meal—even though the restaurant was practically empty. We politely explained that we wanted to finish enjoying our dinner before deciding on dessert. When Anthony left and returned while I was still enjoying my pasta, he placed the check on our table. It’s a shame that a restaurant with such outstanding food offers service that feels so sloppy and impersonal.
We have been in this restaurant twice. First time the experience was amazing! The steak was delicious, the appetizers and the pasta, nothing to complain about. Second time was different. Steak didn’t came the temperature we ordered. Chicken piccata was extremely sour. They don’t have a great diversity of wine. A glass of the riesling RELAX costs the price of the bottle. The sangria is so so: Anyway. Since we have a great experience first time, I would give another try next time.
I visited this restaurant once before with my girlfriend when it was quiet, and we had a great experience with both the food and atmosphere. However, on my most recent visit I was disappointed with my dish, as the shrimp and mussels were overcooked. To their credit, the staff was kind enough to replace the dish with an alternative that was much better. The service, however, left something to be desired. Our server was very quiet, mumbled often, and did not check in with us regularly or provide bread, which impacted the overall dining experience. While I did leave with a better meal and appreciate the effort to make things right, I don’t think I’ll be returning. This restaurant may be enjoyable for others, but in my opinion it does not reflect authentic Italian cuisine.
The salad was overwhelming with vinegar. The meatballs had no taste or consistency and the marinara sauce was to acidic and watery. I can buy better at the supermarket. My friend's food (Mahi with pasta)tasted to much like vinegar. He couldn't eat it. He was not happy at all.
I'll keep it simple...on why the three stars. Service started off slow, appetizers came before half my group received water and lemonade to drink. Sangria pitcher which is 33.00 was not good. Save your $ on the pitcher and just buy the brucetta you get for free for 10.00, the brucetta was very tasty. Portions are very small for Italian and the price. The hardest thing is the tiny tables and cramped seating makes it hard to enjoy as a whole.
The food is excellent in this traditional Italian restaurant. However my family and I were sat in a very dark space where we had to use our phones to see the menu (just look at pics). The service could be much better. Some of the appetizers and entree i.e. cheese triangles were served cold. What’s up with the stingy bread service too? We’ll be back to hopefully have a better experience. The food is worth it, if you can put up with the sub par service.
It's pretty generic Italian food. They do nothing particularly well. The Alfredo was smooth but like generic smooth not extraordinary. Their chicken was bland and their lemon sauce too lemony for my taste. Their shrimp in the soup was tough like it went bad in their soup of the day special. The pizza was nothing special either, pretty run of the mill but the crust was particularly mediocre; kinda just puffed up bread, not bad but not spectacular. The music was a bad choice playing pop and 2000s music in an old rustic Italian vibe restaurant.
From an Italian 100% I tell you that this a classic American restaurant! Very good but not Italian at all! Not the menu, not the ingredients. Which Italian drinks sangria while eating food? No Italian eats Alfredo sauce. Good food and very nice service tho. I’ll be back for sure when I go to Florida, but please don’t say “Italian restaurant” 🤣
Came here for dinner and had to wait a little before getting seated with no acknowledgement although we had a reservation. It didn't seem to busy at the time either, so I'm unsure why that was the case. We ordered the mussels in the garlic/white wine sauce and they were easily the best Mussels in have had thus far in the area. My partner ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it was okay. I ordered the tortellini carbonara and I don't think I've ever had as much oil in a pasta dish as I had in this one. Every bite it had to let the oil drip off a little before taking a bite. Haven't been here enough times to speak on the rest of their food, but I would maybe give another dish a try in the future.
Food was good, cob webs could be seen inside in multiple places which is the reason for the 3 for atmosphere. The bill give tipping options for 20, 22 and 25%. That is outrageous. The American standard is 15-20% with 20% being reserved for great service. This is an example of “tip creep” and should be frowned upon.
The woman at the entrance asked me if I have a reservation. I told her no and she said you have to wait 30 minutes. I'll tell her it's okay. Then two couples arrive. She lets them in and they didn't have a reservation. She didn't want to serve my family and me because we are Latinos.
Made the mistake of venturing into this establishment. God forbid you walk into an a restaurant and not be aware that they only have a beer and wine license. Tried to order something with vodka and our server was nice enough to let us know he recommended ABC liquor store if we'd like something. Rude, unprofessional, and overpriced. The appetizer was nothing to brag about, and with service like that, total turn off to spending money at your restaurant with servers that are addressing customers in that manner. Spoke with the manager briefly, he said he would address the situation. The server came over to somewhat apologize, and let us know that he says that to all of his tables. Absolutely not up to the level of expectations, for restaurants on Park avenue.
Terrible experience and unacceptable customer service. My daughters, my wife, and I waited over an hour and a half for a table. After all that time, the owner was extremely rude and told us there were no tables available, refusing to seat us even outside. No apology, no courtesy. We were forced to leave. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place.
Do NOT go if you’re vegan!!!! I called beforehand and their staff assured me they had some vegan options. When I got there they were confused when I asked what could be made vegan, so after trying to figure it out the waiter gave me one option which I didn’t like. they put Parmesan cheese in my truffle fries. Would not recommend for vegans
