Tocabe Chili Hut Winter Park Reviews
My familys favorite spot on the slopes!
Enjoy a beer at 12,000 feet.
It's a small place but the warmth and chili hit the spot!!
Definitely worth a stop, not the best chili ive ever had but it warms you up well and is a nice stop before the second half of your day
So good! Easy place to grab Frito pie while skiing. Great staff.
Nice option to avoid crowds at Snoasis, Sunspot, Lunch Rock, or the base. Not a ton of options but it seems more reasonably priced. Great deck on sunny days.
Nice, quiet place to get some chili and rest your legs!!
Cold beer, bright sunshine usually. Was closed Wednesday when we were there. Bathroom and warming hut there as well
Great place to stop and relax after skiing for good chili with semi-sheltered outdoor seating.
A great stop during a cold day on the slopes. Hours are unclear, but seems like 11a-2p on weekends and busy days. The chili is delicious. We tried the bison, vegan, and green chili. Canned beer available. There a warming hut and the main building, both can be pretty cramped but at least they’re warm. Restrooms are small but manageable.
This place is a gem! They basically just do chili and beverages, but the chili is tasty and the atmosphere here is more relaxed than lunch rock.
This place has a really good reputation from the locals and regulars. The two main things they sell are Chili in a bread bowl (also comes with another big piece of bread) ~$11 and Chili in a cup ~$9, it is warm and tasty on a cold day of skiing. The better value might be chili in a cup unless you really like eating all that bread. Beer in a can is about $7-8, lots of IPA's and of course Coors Light. They also have pulled pork sandwiches.
Their delicious heaping cup of vegetarian green chili is reasonably priced and *really* hits the spot on a particularly cold day!
It is nice to have access to a bathroom this far over on the mountain and the views from here are amazing. However, the deck is made of composite and in the half hour we were there I saw at least two people fall and several otheres slip. Also the bathrooms are so small, it is really difficult to maneuver in and out of them.
Awesome spot. Pretty good chili. Too bad there are no discounts for employees or ikon pass holders ever and it was rarely open all year.
Same as everything on the mountain over priced and medeoker food. But to take a break from riding and enjoy a beer o. The out side patio it's worth the cost
$15 for a small bowl of chili is criminal. Reading a comment about how it used to be $9 for a cup and $11 for a bread bowl five years ago is pretty shocking. Only option for water is $7 for a Dasani can. Save that money for the Taco Bell in Idaho springs; you can feast and relieve your constipation.
Closed on a busy sunny day. Many disappointed folks
