La Honda defined in the best way possible. Very chill spot, their weekend BBQ's are delish.

Apple Jacks Inn is a cool out of the way bar with live music and a pool table. Prices are fair with a old town-western feel to the place. Apple Jacks is popular with the biker crowd on weekends with lots of locals during most hours. You can't go wrong with the stunning location of Apple jacks which is set in a redwood forest area of beautiful La Honda Cal.

This place is the real deal. Nestled in the woods with an historic cabin vibe. Lots of history. Lots of music and events. Good people. Good drinks.

Stopped in for a delicious BBQ lunch! Sat out back on the deck surrounded by redwoods! The pesto pasta salad was so good, along with the bbq chicken!

Local watering hole that offers a glimpse back into the days of the new frontier through the eyes of a settler. The large plank wood floors seem original to the Trading Post and it comes complete with a iron fireplace to keep the place cozy while enjoying your beer.

They're pet friendly and our doggo loved hanging with us on the patio. Not pricey & rustic ambience with friendly staff.

Also it can be quite busy on the weekends, its a Very popular place for car enthusiasts and motorcycle riders.

If the weather is good or bad, it's no matter. On a warm, sunny day, it's open and airy, and on a cool, rainy day, it's snug and cozy.

Funky, out of the way little spot. Not exactly a great place to meet people (the locals are not a warm bunch...and who can blame them, with all the pumple-faced billionaires just over the mountain?), but well worth a visit, especially if you are passing through the area on your bike.

Anyone old enough to remember Neil Young lurking in the corner? Grew up down the hill in Los Altos. Was a favorite even before we were old enough to know better. Long ride home…

We took a bus trip out here for an event we used to do in college. Great beer selection considering the location. Locals and bartenders were super fun. We managed to drink all of their blue moon. Goal of the trip was to drink them dry but with a group of 50 I think that would be pretty hard given the vast selection of taps.

We didn't get dinner but the Saturday grilled steak n mash looked n smelled amazing! Friendly folk, especially chatty patrons. Limited parking. Mostly a biker bar and they don't have any actual Apple Jack (super bummed lol)

Great place for a shot, beer, and live music. Tried both a lemon drop and a cosmopolitan neither were correct and went for straight shots instead.

Barbeque on weekends. Food is okay. Bar has a pretty good selection of beer and liquor but almost nothing in the way of wine. Music costs money.

Apple Jacks has character. Set among the redwood and creek. Outdoor deck is nice to enjoy nature with a cold brew. Reminds me off a saloon in the old west.
