This is my go-to spot for special occasions to celebrate with family and friends. The food is always delicious and authentic. My recommend dishes are the Ceviche w/Aji Marrillo and Lomo Saltado.

I just loved this spot is like a hidden gem in sunnyside! The chef is so kind and humble, the service was great but the best part was the food! The fusion of italian and peruvian cuisine are just insanely good! The ceviche had this lemon citrus and sweet taste from the sweet puree so good!! Seriously the steak with the spaguetti and huancaina souce ( i think that’s how u spell it) was also really good! Highly recommend stopping by with family or friends or even on a date! Delicious!

Had a great Sunday dinner at Bistro Punta Sal. I was seated right away and the service was excellent. I ordered the Mixed Ceviches with Aji Amarillo sauce, Lomo Saltado, and Seco De Cabrito — all were delicious and well-cooked. The atmosphere was cozy with nice jazz music in the background. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Peruvian food.

This spot has become one of my favorite places! Its somehow both classy and cozy, with wooden tables, white linens, wine glasses, and the occasional Perrier or wine bottle centered just right. Whether you’re seated inside or outside on the bare concrete, there’s a relaxed elegance that makes it feel like a hidden gem. The music is soft, instrumental, and somewhere between Parisian café and mellow vintage jazz, which is perfect for just sitting back or even reading a book alone without feeling out of place. The service is consistently excellent, with staff who are warm, attentive, and treat my daughter like royalty. The pasta pesto with steak is unbeatable and the chicken rice soup (Aguado) is a favorite of my daughter’s. As far as drinks, I get either Perrier or water which is always accompanied by a scotch glass with lemon wedges perfectly place which just feels elevated. And don’t even get me started on the tiramisu with vanilla ice cream… truly addictive! I always leave feeling spoiled, peaceful, and wondering how this place isn’t packed every night.

Saw it on Instagram and had to try it. This restaurant did not disappoint. Small restaurant but the service was impeccable. Our waiter knew the menu well and even offered recommendations....drinks were delicious, 3 of us had a passion fruit margarita and one if us had a coconut mojito (I hope those were the right names for the drinks), they were delicious. We each had different plates, whole branzino stuffed with seafood, pescado a lo macho, ceviche and I had the salmon with zucchini with a balsamic glaze, Everything was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back.

Keepin it real in Sunnyside. Got a rec from a stranger raving about how good this spot is, learned that the owner/chef is actually from Ecuador and had his training in Peru, has a passion for Peruvian cooking and is now serving in Sunnyside. Food was on point, everything was super fresh and the staff were all super friendly. Great vibes and still feels like a family owned restaurant, def a Sunnyside gem!

I can’t get enough of this place. The service, the food, everything about this restaurant is amazing. The specials are inventive and delicious. There is nothing I wouldn’t eat off their menu. The waiter Josue is also a delight. He WILL always take good care of you.

This is a hidden gem of Peruvian cuisine. The presentation of dishes was elegant and colorful. The waiter was thorough in the oral explanation of the specials, fluent in both Spanish and English. He was able to answer all our dietary needs, including being specific about the ingredients. The dishes took some time to arrive but well worth it. The decor was rustic and sophisticated, reminded me of Portugal. Although Perú is not known for its wine, the selection was eclectic. The prices are within reason of fine dining. Overall, this is a must visit for upscale Peruvian cuisine with excellent service with an elegant ambiance.

Unreal... I had no idea! I only call this a hidden gem because I’ve been in the hood ten years and had never seen or heard of it. Where do I begin. There are two things I was able to get here that I’ve been looking for in the neighborhood for years and have been underwhelmed based on my personal taste. The first is a spicy mescal margarita cocktail. Only had a good one in Manhattan. They did it! They have a mescal margarita which was lovely. When I ordered the second I asked if they could add a little spice and they added some fresh Jalapeños. Sooo perfect! The second is ceviche. There is a lot of decent ceviche in the neighborhood don’t get me wrong... theirs was by far my personal favorite. I should also add that they had a mango mousse desert that was incredible. Made in house and tasted like it. The other amazing thing is the service. Very five star restaurant style service. Wouldn’t have expected that in this small off the path place.

Defenetely a nice place. The service never disappoints and the food is delicious. I come here every now and then, their choros are my favorite. Cute little spot. I recommend it highly.

This was very good and convenient. I would consider this a "fine dining" restaurant. The prices are steep, and it gives off the vibes with the white table cloths and service provided. Everything was super good the only reason for the 4 stars is bc I feel like my plantains could have been cooked a bit longer & my chair felt like it was going to break if i moved the wrong way. Other than that, it was definitely an incredible place to eat and very tasty. Our appetizer was amazing. They also give free bread before the food arrives. The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. It was expensive but it was worth it in the end. Definitely recommend giving this place. Try.
