Boba Fries Woodside Reviews
Tried the juice bubble tea and fries- fries had a perfect crunch and the juices were a great blend of sweetness and chewiness. However, the spices on the fries felt a bit flat and lacked depth. Overall, a decent snack with bubble tea, but the seasoning could use some improvement. Place is small with a few seats, but i will say the price is perfect
I think they have best matcha in the Woodside-Elmhurst-Sunnyside area, one of the best in Queens for sure. The prices are so reasonable. A matcha 80% sugar and cajun fries is usually my order and I think it’s always worth it.
Their bobba is amazing so is their fries!! So simple, “bobba and fries” straight forward but makes huge impact in my day every time I pass by. Staff are really friendly, kind and professional (even tho they look underpaid) kuddos!
I had the chance to try out Boba Fries, and overall, it was a great experience! The fries were super crispy and delicious, definitely one of the highlights. However, the spicy mayo sauce was a bit mild for my taste—I was expecting a stronger kick. As for the drinks, the milk tea was a little too sweet for me, but the matcha latte (ordered at 50% sweetness) was absolutely perfect. It had a rich, authentic matcha flavor without being overpoweringly sweet. Would I come back? Definitely, but I’d tweak the sweetness levels and maybe try a different dipping sauce next time!
Absolutely amazing I had the Cajun Fries while my Cousin had the Regular fries. She loved her Passionfruit slushy while I loved my GenMaicha Milk Tea. I would totally recommend the Cajun fries because they’re packed with flavor just be sure you can handle a little bit of spice. Atmosphere was great too with AC and little sun inside 👏
The fries are So. Soft! We tried the sweet potato fries and they were warm, crunchy and melted in our mouths! So so good! I'm pregnant so can't have different teas. The dirty boba doesn't have any tea and has lactose free milk with brown sugar ❤️ so so good!
I love this matcha to start my day, they should open at 8.00am! Many of us want to buy before our work/school but it is closed 😔 good quality and always clean 😊
The employees are super nice! I ordered the Cajun fries and chose the spice level to be at max, they were so good! The chocolate mousse signature drink was super good as well. Give this place a try if you’re ever walking around Woodside! (:
It's become my family's go-to for boba, and there's nothing better than that. All the drinks we've had were great and worth the price. My mom, who's lactose sensitive loves the lactose free dirty boba milk so recommend if that's you. On another note, if you like Thai iced tea or Thai milk tea, you know boba spots use the same dissapointing powder 🥴 but this place is DIFFERENT! This is the ONLY boba place I've found where the Thai milk tea doesn't taste like that and I really hope they keep the recipe that way. They also have special seasonal drinks in store (my sister liked it the strawberry lemon seltzer) and I can't wait for what they come out for winter.
I love coming to this place a lot, their fries and drinks are the best (wake up matcha lover speaking) and the atmosphere is so cozy/chill~ ☺️🧋
Great addition to the neighborhood. Love their cajun fries, spicy and full of flavors. I like the passion fruit lemonade with passion fruit pop bobas. Try them, you will love them.
Refreshing & Sweet! Loved the Passionfruit Tea & Lychee Tea with Passionate Fruit Popping Jelly
Great boba and delicious fries! The Chocolate Mousse and Cajun Fries make the best combo.

Really delicious lavender matcha and Cajun fries another level.👌👍
As a Taiwanese(where bubble tea originated from), I would like to highly recommend this place as they brew good quality and good taste of green tea. Boba is chewy and sweet which makes a perfect flavor. Only wish is they can make more options like fresh fruit teas as they already have good tea as a good foundation! Fries also highly recommend!
They always have a great selection of seasonal drinks and I love trying them all! Very reasonable pricing and great quality. The staff here is always friendly, even when they are super busy. Love having this spot in the neighborhood!
fries are super crisp and amazing, the boba is never a let down my go to is always the grapefruit jasmine or wake up matcha! staff is always super friendly

Quick friendly service. Great fries and great selection of cold Bob's. Nice corner location with small round tables and stool seating.

It is a calming and nice experience. I would visit it again for a quick boba. Good The milk is good, not too sweet- also because i called low sugar (choose 30 sugar, believe me) Boba is soft and little chewy They made the drink really quick and we didn’t have to wait for long Definitely recommend you to try in here I called lavender milktea and it doesn’t taste “fake” or chemical at all Sad I don’t have any bad thing about this place except for the fact that price is slightly on a high side and they barely have any promo or discount.
It is a really cute open space. I remember when it used to be a deli many years ago and the space was under construction for quite a while before it finally became this. I ordered a jasmine green milk tea and it was unfortunately lacking the creamy sweetness that is typical of a jasmine milk tea. Something was off about the flavor. I would give it a second chance sometime with one of its other drinks or maybe trying the fries. Either way, happy to see a new spot in the neighborhood. Paid $5.72 for a large jasmine green milk tea

The fries here are excellent! Nice variety of flavors and options. Definitely coming back for more in the future. However, the bubble tea I've gotten from them on 2 different occassions is quite sub par compared to other bubble tea spots in the city. The bubbles were undercooked and the tea flavor was very weak (and way too milky overall). Hopefully they can improve there, especially since their teas are not cheap!
