The Broski Grill Woodside Reviews
Came on a rainy day (lost) and needed a quick meal before heading back home and GYATTTTTdamn I was delighted. Probably the best halal I’ve had by far. Just from one bite and I’m their biggest fan. Such a loaded platter I got chicken over rice with all sauce. What I love about it is that both their sides are just as delicious. Crinkled fries?! And a cucumber salad sheeesh. Forget being lost, I found this gem. #worthit
Delicious halal chicken and rice spot in the neighborhood. The food was fresh and the sauce was on point. Fries crispy, salad crunchy, chicken was lean, and rice was seasoned well.
The burger was amazing and tasted very fresh. The sauce was perfect and had the right amount of kick, will definitely return for a quick bite!!
Only came here one time. Just had the chicken over rice platter that comes with fries and a small salad. The chicken was tender and not over or under seasoned. Nice amount of rice. I was happy with the amount and style of fries. They were sort of crispy. I could imagine someone else wanting more, but with the amount of rice I got, it was nice not to have too many fries!Nice salad. The person helping me was, you guessed it, nice! There is no bathroom. There is a very small but usable seating area, about two tables. The price was also super-affordable, for the amount and quality of food I got. Give ‘em a try if you’re in the neighborhood!
(4.6) Solid halal food. Fresh, great sauces. Fries can be a bit better but still very good ! Take out is probably the best but they do have 2 tables for dine in. I got lamb over rice platter.
I have ordered mainly from this establishment during my stay. It is Zabihah Halal (called the owner to confirm). Amazing food. We had to ask our platters to have extra red and green sauce (for spice) as it lacked the spice taste. Salem was amazing and showed great care and customer service. Prices that can't be beat, food that tastes great, shows a little piece of New York everyone who is visiting is looking for.
Im going to say it and some ppl might gasp but… Broski Grill is better than Halal Guys or Adels Famous. The chunky pieces chicken or lamb is always perfectly cooked and flavorful. Even for pickup orders they know to cook it right when you arrive. The meat isn’t sitting on the grill all day getting drier with every min. It stays juicy and tender. The fries are seasoned well and crispy. And it’s priced well so that it’s affordable. A delicious meal that doesn’t destroy your wallet. It’s rare to get quality food at the price point they offer but Broski Grill serves.
Mm yummy good chicken! Chicken is yummy tender and juicy I love it. Beware of the trace leche..
I tried my first chopped cheese here, and it is DELICIOUS. Everything was cooked with love and care, made to order. Plus the location and hours for this place are awesome. It's VERY reasonably priced. The best food I've had on my trip so far!
The moment I saw this place open I knew I had to try it and I can say this is one of the best Halal food places I have tried! This food had such a great zest to it. Great customer service as well, the worker had such a positive attitude.

This restaurant is a great spot if you’re craving comfort food with lots of options. Their chicken wings are flavorful and crispy, and the burgers are juicy and filling. The gyros are well-seasoned with tender meat and fresh toppings that taste authentic. The platters come with generous portions, making them perfect if you’re really hungry or sharing with someone. Everything is served hot and fresh, and the menu has something for everyone. Overall, it’s a solid place to visit when you want tasty, satisfying food without spending too much.
Negative views are a little wild, considering the place is pretty consistent with food and service. I go with the chop cheese or lamp gyro when I come through, but I’ve tried other things on the menu and enjoyed it. It’s a solid spot for a quick bite with no fuss and definitely worth a try.
Very good food. Loved the chopped cheese. Small shop, but very accommodating staff.
Delicious Halal Food spot. I love getting mix over rice, it’s really good! Would recommend this place. Try some great food!
Great food, consistent and good amount for the price. Highly recommend the combo (chicken and lamb) over rice with green, white and red sauce. Don't sleep on the chopped cheese either! The owner and staff are all super friendly and although the space is small, there are seats to wait while they are making your food.
food is amazing best places i’ve at in a while come try it out

Honest review! Ordered a Chopped Cheese and a lamb platter… the food was good, quality was fresh and clean. But for the price point even with recession and all that i gotta say $9 for a chopped cheese on a hero is a little high. Should be like $7 solid, combo $10. For a $10 lamb platter everything was good in it except they couldve gave more meat. Thats usually why people stick to halal carts rather than brick and motor. The halal carts pile on the meat. Like i said its just me being 100% real. For constructive criticism i would just lower the price of the chopped cheese and add more meat to lamb platter that is all. Other than that this spot is great.

So I just finished my 1st ever meal from this place. And the food was absolutely delicious! BUT... So, quality was great. I ordered a mix platter/combo over rice for delivery. When I got the food, it was nice and hot, but it was just lamb over rice. No chicken to be found. Everyone makes mistakes, so it's fine. I really wasn't too upset because the lamb was delicious. The rice was great as well. Fries could be better. Overall quality is a 5 STAR in my opinion. The QUANTITY, however, really needs to be addressed. I paid $14.14 for the food + taxes. This is without the delivery fee. And after I finished my meal, I was HUNGRY. This should not happen, like EVER. There was barely any meat, there was an OK amount of rice and maybe 10 pieces of fries. IDK maybe I'm the one with a big appetite, but I'm pretty sure this wouldn't fill up any adult. Overall Quantity is a 2 STAR in my opinion. So I'd give the place a 3.5 Starts but that's not available so I'll be generous and round UP instead of down.
The poor lady behind the counter was the only one working. She cooked, cleaned, worked the register. She was good though.

I got the stomach flu shortly after eating their food. Chills, nausea, and diarrhea shortly thereafter. It's now a couple of days and still experiencing the same symptoms. I should've trusted my instincts.
