April 2018 Update: This McDonald's now has mobile pay and mobile pick-up. I tried it today and although a little slower than the drive-thru, I still liked it. For mobile pay, you place your order through the McDonalds App, then pay for it and choose where to pick it up from. When you get to your location of choice, the app will ask you if you'd like to pick up from here. Then when you've confirmed that, the transaction will go through and your card will then be charged. This is a great use of technology. I've also done Uber eats through a McDonald's in downtown Dallas. I was standing in line for a concert and Uber Eats picked up my food and brought it to me right in line and I didn't lose my place! ================================================== They've given this place a facelift. They have it a more contemporary look. It looks good and the inside is also more spacious and clean.
Very clean and open since the remodel. There’s a little a corner of screens for littles. Our food came out quick and fresh for breakfast. You can also pay cash at the kiosk.
While I don’t usually love McDonald’s food, I do on rare occasion crave a large fry, 10 pc nugget, or a breakfast sandwich. In my more recent visits, I’ve come across a night/early morning crew that have become my favorite!! If I could get their schedule, I WOULD!! They have yet to get my order wrong (knocks on wood), the place is always clean, orders are organized and ready to go out, nobody parked in the waiting area for long periods of time (if at all), and most importantly - EVERYONE IS ALWAYS HAPPY!!! That’s how you know the leader is leading!! When I went through the drive thru tonight, (12/29/2025 @ 2:30 AM) I was greeted by the friendliest voice on the intercom, then greeted by the most welcoming smile at the window, handed my food quickly (which I could already tell was freshly made), and my sweet tea was *chefs kiss*!! 10/10 recommend keeping whoever was on this shift, FOREVER!!!!
Lunch was a good experience. They did make a mistake under cooking the fries but the manager on site handled it very well, and quickly. Food was good. Both sandwiches tasted fresh.
It was just the drive-thru but although they did not have the Grinch combo meal they did have the spicy McChicken the Big Mac meal and the filet of fish meal and 2 and 1/2 no 3 weeks previously I changed a flat tire right next to the drive-thru of this store and I was able to get my tire on get home and then happy no more than happy to come back with my friends and experience the golden arches again. Wonderful experience in the middle of the early morning hours. The McDonald's sales associate was unbelievable I wish I knew her name but she went above and beyond and made our experience mOrE than fully satisfied. Be well and blessed 🙏. CWFeil

The employee named Ellie was very sweet! She was so kind and cleaned up the bacon I dropped. She also personally delivered my soda and gave me extra napkins. Please give her better pay I love ellie Marquez she is awesome and amazing and the best worker in the whooole world
They had the nerve to address their tables with a bouquet of roses and flowers to welcome me in the patrons. This is a great location that you would want to stop into based on the fact did the customer service seems immaculate. The McDonald's here is very clean and to your liking. I'm sure the food will satisfy your appetite. Additionally in the bathrooms and all serviceable convinces are clean.

ALWAYS check your bag before leaving the window if in the drive thru. Did you order a drink? Wait for it. They are always forgetful. Always behind and often make you wait in a parking spot for a basic two person order. However, taste is the great McDonald’s flavor you’re there for. Just give them a boost and check your items! You already know what you’re in for with service and such, so just roll with it if you’re wanting the food 🤷♀️
I cant remember the last time I actually got my food at the drive thru window. What happen to "fast food". I only get 2 cheeseburgers and fries.
They were rude when I ordered and asked them to confirm they were giving me the correct sauce. Paid and went up to the front window where the Employees were mad, talking about writing each other up. Got my food and had no sauce, not even the wrong sauce just none at all. 11-17-24 @ 2:45pm
This has got to be one of the worst McDonald’s at least in North Texas. My wife and I went through the drive thru for breakfast this morning. I ordered on the app. As I pulled up to the window, the young lady gave me a thumbs up and motioned me forward without opening the window. The vehicle in front of us and us were the only ones in line at that point. We both arrived at the same time. When we got to the second window we were asked to pull ahead and park right next to the truck that was in front of us. We rolled down and started to talk to the driver. He was waiting on a breakfast sandwich and we were waiting on two sandwiches and a big breakfast. After about 10 minutes, he decided to walk in and ask about both of our orders. He came back with his order and informed us that both of our orders were sitting on the counter when he walked in. He had no idea how long they had been there. They finally brought our order along with another order for a third vehicle that had pulled up from the drive thru while we were talking. The food was cold by the time we got to eat it. It was probably cold by the time it was delivered. I think we are through with this McDonald’s. It doesn’t matter if you use the drive thru or walk in, they are slow. When we have walked in, in the past, it’s almost like you are forgotten about. They wait on car after car, slowly, before they even think about the customers inside. The burgers are dry and we have gotten large fries going through the drive thru that were only half full. We are going to drive the extra mile or two to Sachse when and if we decide on McDonald’s again.
Not bad food but there is this one woman during lunch that looks like a boulder (Can't remember her name) that is rather rude and snippy, then there is the fact I can't reliably go there after work and get anything more advanced than fries and a drink without running the risk of having it take 30 minutes (has happened atleast 3 times of 5).
I pulled up to the drive thru literally getting a meal and an extra muffin. This little girl was NOT paying attention. Would read it back, and it be incorrect. 3 different times at the menu. I pulled up to the window and asked her to read it back and she hadn't even had it as a meal! I nearly drove off because she was so stupid. Get off your phone and actually do your job! Its not that hard!
I ordered 2 spicy mcchickens. Should be simple right? It’s a value item. I received ONE spicy mcchicken and one regular mcchicken in the spicy wrapping like I wouldn’t notice, but guess what night crew, I noticed. I placed an online order because it’s supposed to be “Faster” and it usually is, everywhere else. I pulled in 5-10 minutes after I placed my order then proceeded to wait another 10 minutes watching cars I watched pull into the drive through leave before me. When I mentioned it the girl said “sorry”. That was it, one word. And my coffee was cold. Garbage! These people want more money?!?
Horrible place, placed online order curbside and again the 2nd time.. it took 45 minutes. They always get my order wrong, I just ordered 45 minutes ago asked for no onions & STRESSED no onions. I received EXTRA onions, covered in onions from top to bottom melted into the cheese I tried to scrape it off but the overwhelming onion taste had me gagging. This location just got remodeled and reopened 2 days ago but I hate to tell you the quality of food has NOT CHANGED!!! I blame that on upper management and their non desire to really provide good food and good customer service! The food was not fresh even when I asked for fresh food !! It’s a damn shame you have to request it to be fresh! It’s fast food it should be ! I hope they get shut down by the local food inspector! They are horrible! All their reviews tell the same story with no one in management trying to make it better! Maybe they need to get fired ! I have gone to this McDonald’s location several times and it doesn’t matter if it’s day or night the service is still the same. It’s terrible. The food is never fresh. Even when you requested it to be fresh they don’t give it to you fresh it’s always something with them and you always have to take it back. I will return Not return to this location.
I went to McDonald's this morning I took my mother cause for some reason my mother loves their sausages plain and their sausage mcgriddle with the round egg not that square stuff so we got to our turn at the drive thru the lady on the speaker was RUDE no greeting no letting me know she was ready for me nothing she just said "what would you like" even my mother in the back seat heard it and we'll dang someone is in a bad mood to early as it was only 6:30 I felt so bad cause my mother is a very nice respectful person and it made her feel like she was bothering someone to order or make her food so I order and ask for some 2 extra syrup I will pay for them I get to the window I pay then I go to the other window wait a few minutes about 8-9 then again no good morning no smile nothing just a soir look on her face then they forgot my 2 extra syrup I wait 2 minutes till someone finally pointed at the window then she turned opened and said what do you need I said my 2 extra syrups she grabbed 1 syrup and said free no change and closed the window come McDonald's please do better this location is so convenient it's only 3 minutes away instead of the 10 minutes away and traffic

At lunch they now put everyone in the reserve parking spaces to have better metrics for corporate but you'll still sit out there for 10 minutes because you had the audacity to order two cheeseburgers.
I ordered classic mc crispy sandwich with two mc crispy patties and they put one chicken and one fish patti. Glad I checked my order before I leave. They remade the order wrong again second time and I told them at least give me refund and I don't feel safe eating here anymore and they remade for third time. . Worst McDonald's ever. They'd kill someone with seafood allergy if they don't check before they eat.

I have traveled extensively across the United States for work and have visited many McDonald’s locations nationwide. Unfortunately, this particular location in Wylie, Texas, provided the worst experience I’ve had to date. During a recent night shift visit, I requested barbecue and ranch sauces but instead received sweet and sour and buffalo. Additionally, I specifically asked for extra mayonnaise, yet none was included with my order. To add to the disappointment, my large Dr Pepper tasted more like mineral water than soda, which made it undrinkable. While I generally appreciate McDonald’s consistency, this visit fell far below expectations. I hope management addresses these issues to improve future customer experiences.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I recently received at your establishment. On my visit, I attempted to place an order for a Cheeseburger Happy Meal. The manager instructed me to use the kiosk, which unfortunately, did not allow me to complete my order. Additionally, the app did not provide an option for a Cheeseburger Happy Meal. Despite explaining the kiosk issue and the missing app option, I was repeatedly directed back to the kiosk. At this point, I had already placed my fiance's order via the app, and it was becoming cold as I waited for assistance. After considerable frustration, another employee kindly took my Happy Meal order at the register. However, the manager then intervened and canceled the transaction, instructing the employee not to allow me to pay. This experience left me feeling completely disrespected and upset. As I was waiting to pick up the order placed in the app, I asked for a few ketchups and honey mustard. The staff member responded with hostility, stating that I should have mentioned everything I needed earlier, despite my multiple requests. When I asked for honey mustard for the fifth time, I was again met with rudeness. During this time, the manager started yelling at employees, threatening to fire anyone who left. Customers were also complaining about having gone through the line multiple times without receiving their orders and being instructed to pull up without any resolution. The manager was yelling at customers, refusing to issue any refunds. This incident has led to the worst experience I've ever had at any business location. I am hopeful that you will address these concerns and improve the service at this location.
Don’t Doordash food from here. Got the completely wrong order and I would’ve just gotten a refund and eaten the food but the food was cold and had no receipt. I don’t like to go after fast food workers because I know how difficult it can be, but that’s just ridiculous. Not that hard to read the receipt and not give someone the wrong order. This location is horrible in general and needs better management.

Gave them 1 more chance to improve since they finished remodeling. Unfortunate but the only improvement they made was the new look of the dining area. We've always gotten poor & VERY SLOW service and our food orders are 80% of the time incorrect. 2 weeks ago when we last went, the food was meh. But the newly-remodeled place was MESSY, full of crumbs & used wrappers at most tables & floor. I think the lack of accessible napkins is a HUGE PROBLEM! We have to go ask the servers for napkins. And usually there's a wait, even for such a simple thing as asking for a napkin or 2. Why would this McDonald's not have napkin containers in the dining room for customers to use? Employees look tired & disgruntled, even though they were friendly. We now go out of the way to another McDonald's since this one is plain awful.

A nightmare of an establishment. Waited 15 minutes at the register for someone to even say 1 word to me . 6 different members of the team walked past me and nothing . I am blown away about the lack of service and respect. I am a paying customer with a toddler who was hungry and had to explain to him that they were not ready for us. Very very very disappointed

Ordered Mac double charged for Mac double but got this pathetic service never experienced something like this before Date was 31 july time around 1:30Am Didn’t give me any receipt so i can’t even go and tell them what they did. Not once they are doing that everytime you use coupons from app they give you cheap food.
Service is absolutely horrible, lines always take forever and then they move you to the curbside so the timers stop and usually about 15 minutes later you'll get your food. The manager at night i think his name starts with a T. He has really bad attitude. Yelling at customers, telling customer we have a lot of orders what do you want me to do. This place is the worst Mcdonald. Needs new management and lots of training.
I placed a mobile order for pickup at the drive-thru. I gave them my order code, and pulled to the pickup window. They handed me a bag with way too much stuff so I knew it wasn't mine. I handed it back, and the worker started looking through bags to see if she could find my order. She asked if I had a 4-piece mcnugget, and I said no, and recounted my order for her. After a minute of looking for it, she asked me to park. Then I was ignored for 10 minutes while car after car got served. I eventually walked in, and asked for my food. My order was two standard breakfast items, it shouldn't have taken more than 90 seconds even if they had to assemble them from scratch. After another 4 minutes a worker handed me a bag. It was the bag with the 4-piece mcnugget I had already said wasn't mine. They can't get their customer service right at this location, and they didn't make it right by me.
The breakfast takes forever here 15-20 minutes. There is also a lady who appears to be a manager (maybe she is not) but I have not had positive interaction with her.
MANAGER CRYSTAL and her worst attitude, after messing upe the whole order for which you waited 20+ minutes. No wonder this place has worst star rating, management, franchisee owner, company no body cares about the store and customers visiting. Good luck with this attitude and service
Customer service is terrible. watched the workers play around in the kitchen while they hadn’t even acknowledged me. I ended up having to order at the kiosk while who i’m assuming is the manager answer a phone call. All of the workers locked eyes with me and I wasn’t acknowledged once.
I am a very loyal customer at McDonalds, I always use the app to get my food. By far, today has been the worst ever experience I ever had. 1 employee had a bit of attitude and touched my food with her bare hands!! Now I got the buy 1 get one free big mac/quarter pounder and inside my quarter pounder was ALL pink. How unsanitary and disgusting. They won’t even pick up their phone. These teenagers and children working here don’t even care about customer service AT ALL. No wonder why McDonalds has been slow lately. I will not be coming back.

They handed me the wrong order without even looking at me. When I stopped them to ask about my drink and Mcflurry they seemed confused. I handed them the food back because it was the wrong order. Then the young lady at the window started texting on her phone. After about a minute she asked if I had my Mcflurry. She finally started making it. Then they said it'd be 2 minutes because of my large fry. When I got home the fry was only half full. Worst McDonald's experience I've ever had.
Waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru wait space. Was given the wrong food twice. Go home finally only to find that the Sausage Egg McMuffin is burnt and has no egg. I was going to let it go but decided I couldn't and went all the way back thus adding 30 more minutes to my "fast' food trip.
This McDonald’s is horrible, lines are always 10+mins long, the service is horrible. Always missing items in my orders. I also had DoorDashed today and was missing a smoothie and my sauce, I had to leave my house to get it corrected. Not only did I tell them to remake my order when I got to the speaker because my food was already cold due to their mistake and when I get to the window, they told me to park so literally I’ve been waiting for my order for almost 20 minutes since I got in the line. Worst McDonald’s ever worst customer service ever will never come back.
This specific location made me hate McDonald’s in general now. The workers are most of the time rude, food takes forever, and they always mess up the order or the quality of the food is bad.
Ibtry not to say anything to negative but seriously.. tried the Double QPC jalapeno meal about two weeks ago. .stale bun...came with a single patty (although they charged me the equivalent price of a small ribeye steak). This is why i hate getting talked into going by the kids. Now..Tonight...i go again and i say to myself: "Self, they cant screw this up again right?" i even tell the lady at the pay window " hey last time i had a stale bun and one patty on my Dbl jalapeno nacho cheese QP meal...she exclaims: "Don't worry sir i have it marked as a DBl" yup. single patty, stale bun but this time cold nacho cheese. and before you wonder. i only live 5 mins from the joint....sonit wasnt the trip. I had delivery for the fast convenance. And I never leave reviews. But as someone who is in upper management in the food industry. This has been the worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. I wanted to let them know that they had missing items and the Dr Pepper was all carbonation. Before I could even continue with what I was saying they gave an excuse of driver left without making the drinks right. They offered to put my name down for a credit. I told them that I had already went through door dash. I was gonna say I don’t need a credit . But I was cutoff again and hung up on. I train people on this and I would not have ever tolerated talking to a customer this way. Every detail matters for a restaurant to be successful . Even a big name like McDonald’s. Very disappointed in this location and who represents it.
I feel a responsibility to post this review to shed light on poor training and management. I drove through the drive-through to pick up food for the family on July 22nd around 9:30 p.m. I placed my order, and the line moved fairly quickly. Regretfully, when I got to the second window, I asked if I could add/pay for just an ice cream cone. The young girl rudely shrugged her shoulders and said, “You can't order again. You need to go to the back of the line again and wait." (long line behind me) The 1st concern: Poor Training: The way she delivered the poorly described response was horrible. If she shared any proper customer service training, she could have shared it in a way that would NOT have received an upset response on my end. She was too focused on her personal phone to care. 2nd concern: Poor Management: The manager came to the window after requesting to speak with him. He doubled down and shared no apology or concern. He vocalized his only focus was moving the cars through the drive-through. Quality out the window, but yes, let’s keep the time between cars quick? He was rude and just did not share any concern and tried his best to end the conversation. His name is Travis. We deserve better McDonald's. What is unfortunate is his lack of understanding and training caused poor training for the front line, which will continue to get worse. I suggest driving to the McDonald's in Garland or Murphy! Or go across the street to Whataburger, that has great service and team members that are kind. Let's all pray for Travis to receive the training he needs. Amen.
Avoid dining inside this location if you plan to eat here! Regardless of your order, you can expect to wait over 30 minutes for your food. Meanwhile, they seem to prioritize the drive-thru customers and get their orders out quickly. It appears that the restaurant doesn't care about indoor diners since we don't impact their performance metrics. Additionally, the cleanliness of the place is quite concerning—it’s filthy!

The first time I had moldy bread, the second time we ordered through the app and had to wait an hour and 30 minutes for a kids meal & this time, we ordered 3 McChickens and none of them had chicken in it! I’m usually such an understanding person because I also work in the food industry but this is just crazy.
I had just went in to do a curbside pickup , but when i got to the curbside pick up the app was acting up and then i told me that no number was entered to go to the drive thru or front counter . So i went to the drive thru and then when i went to the speaker i told them what happened and they said to pull up to the window and they were going to help me . When i get to the window i have to tell my name 3 times to the girl cause she kept on saying the wrong name and just for her to tell me to go inside to the front counter , and she added that they probably had taken out to someone else and i was like "to who??! " By that time i was beyond pissed . When i went i asked the girl if that was my order that she had in her hands and i showed her my phone and she handed it to me and i told her i needed a coke and then she gave me a drink . And then after that she said the receipt said staged or something that i need to confirm . And that frustrated me even more because how am i supposed to confirm an order when the app is saying "enjoy and relax" as if i have received my food . I will advice dont go here cause god forbid the app acts up then you are out luck , because the staff acts like its rock science the find an order even though they got like 20 workers in there. I used to work for wendys and it was not that hard to find an order . Also the staff has very bad customer service And after all that my order was all wrong - the burgers were supposed to be only ketchup , they had veggies - the coke was a dr.pepper - the sauce was wrong The overall experience horrible .
I ask for fresh nuggets, they hand me old nuggets. No napkins. No customer service. These kids just want you out of their faces so they can get back to their phones. Hopefully the new Wylie McD will have adults running the store.
I had only 1 McChiken but I waited 45 minutes!!!!!!! That’s is crazy!!! And also this is not only one times !!!! Btw I didn’t get my order because she said can you wait pls ! But I can’t get my order . That’s is so bad location! I would especially like McDonald's representatives to come and inspect this place because this may be one of the worst McDonald's branches I have ever seen. The service is zero.
Went to this location went through the drive thru and no one was there to take orders. The whole staff was in the parking lot playing and goofing off. This was the night staff around 10pm. This whole staff need to be replaced. Ppl started leaving because they couldn't get their food or order anything.
While ordering at the kiosk, the, I assume, manager lady was berating the staff so loudly and rude. Insulting them, calling them incompetent. I would have walked out of I was staff.
Went Saturday night about 1 am. Ordered a double hamburger. They gave me a double cheeseburger. I really dislike their cheese but they were backed up and I just went home and ate it. Most of it. The texture was wrong and it tasted a little off. Thought just the cheese but About half way thru I pulled the bun back and the MEAT was RAW. Not just a little pink. RAW UNCOOKED BEEF. Gross!! Hope I don't get sick! I'll never eat there again.
Why do you all think this is ok to give to a customer. Half filled large fries, very unacceptable and to make it even worst they were cold, not cooked and tased like crap. This is not the first time this location has cheap me on fires and management won’t do any thins about it, fix the problem now because I am not paying over $10 to get half ass fires as part of my meal
This review won’t matter and from seeing all of the other reviews I guess none of those reviews matter either because nobody ever gets a response but I will advise anybody reading this DO NOT GO HERE YOU ARE SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR FAILURE!! I came through the drive through and from off the top they were speeding through to get everybody out of the line which I understand they were trying to shorten the line but to serve moldy food and not even check before serving is insane place needs to be inspected or shut down even!
OMGOSH, what can I say? This McDonald's always disappoints 😞. This time, no different. I dont think I have gone to this location and gotten my order correct. 🤔 1st, they were out of diet coke. Okay, I can deal with it. 2nd, I ordered the McCrispy. In case you don't know, there is a big difference between McCrispy and a McChicken. Not much details on board and probably too small for me to read, The main difference is that McCrispy has NO sauce. No mayo, mustard, ketchup, no secret sauce. It is a well-done patty and dry.
I ordered through the app for breakfast and i ordered a big breakfast with hot cakes and when i went to pick it up they only gave me the sandwich and j asked the lady like whats going on i ordered it with the hotcakes and she insistedthat j didnt and i just left because i was fustrated
This McDonald's is terrible and after going in because they had once again forgotten they had me pull forward I saw how lazy and rude the management is. I would not want to work at a place where the managers stand around and talk to their employees like that.
If you eat McDonald's, you deserve terrible service. Just reviewing because I hate McDonalds and I hate you for eating 30% beef 70% filler trash food.
Because of the cooks in y’all’s kitchen I have decided to never eat McDonalds again. Thanks for putting so much ketchup on my burgers that the bread got so soggy and I threw up with the bite 🫡 Now everytime I hear McDonalds I’ll get sick to my stomach I love it. Have a blessed day. I think it’s time you send your employees to forest land where they belong.
I don’t eat at McDonald’s at all because of the horrible service they have but today I decided to buy breakfast for my son because he likes it and well I thought why not give it a try one more time, I ordered on the app just to pick it up and my order was the big breakfast with hotcakes and a crispy chicken McGriddle well, she bring only the McGriddle and not the big breakfast then she come back with my order and check the sandwich just to find out that is not the crispy chicken McGriddle I ordered so I have to go inside and get my order right and they even get mad, really??? Is not my fault that they don’t do their job right. And they give me my order so messed up. Enough is enough and I will never go back to McDonald’s!!!
Do better owners!!!! You got a new coffee machine but the settings are wrong!!! This is a MEDIUM coffee and it’s not even close to being full. It’s almost half coffee and then foam. The other McDonalds are NOT this way. Reset your NEW coffee machine to be fair to the Customers paying full price. I’m not coming back.
First: my review is not online anymore??? I ordered a Chicken sandwich. Got home and it was just two pieces of bread. No chicken, no pickles. What a waste of my time. I see almost everyone is rating this McDonalds a 1. Looks like a crash and burn. GO SOME PLACE ELSE before you go here. And where did my review with the picture of an empty sandwich go???
I just went back again... 15 minutes to get helped and when I did get helped the lady could barely speak any English and basically didn't know what she was doing I lost 1500 points and a deal because she didn't even know how to use the P.o.S I'm pissed I have never been this mad at a food place it's absolutely ridiculous They forgot my sauce on my unber eats order I went yesterday as well it took them near 20 minutes to make one McChicken and a fry and they were also forgetting people's sauces left and right from the the drive through yesterday as well they don't leave cashier up front so you could go in and wait 10 minutes just to get helped they're is also no soda machine in the dining area I tired to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is three times in a row
Would be negative stars if Google would allow... This location is god awful. Been living here 5 years, and if it wasn’t around the corner and I didn’t have to make a 30 min round trip to a diff location, I wouldn’t come here… Every. single. time. I come here, whether I order ahead on the app or get in the drive thru, they send me to the curbside spaces for 2 standard meals. It takes them an additional 10-15 mins to bring my food while other people are flying out the drive thru like it’s nothing. It’s not like I ordered meals for a family of 6, that I could understand. And half the time my order is wrong, literally every other time. Stay away from this place if you have any other options.
They will cancel your mobile orders for 0 reason. This BS has happened THREE times. They stop serving breakfast at 10:30 on weekdays and will cancel your order just because they're too lazy to make it. Even if you place the order at 10:15 they will cancel it. It's absurd. Orders should not be cancelled when placed unless they're placed after 10:30. Cancelling any order placed before the cutoff time is unacceptable. Especially FIFTEEN MINUTES before the cutoff time and all the order consist of is 2 mcgriddles. They also wait until after 10:30 to cancel it so you're already on the way or at the restaurant and Don't cancel it immediately or just not let you place the order at all. Infuriating. Don't support this business.
Went thru the drive thru, got home and realized I was missing a fry order. That's on me for not checking. My issue is the cheese burgers were supposed to be plain, they weren't. The sprite was straight soda water, gross, and they didn't even give me the right sauce for the nuggets. Guess that's what I get for going to McDonald's.
This McDonald's is one of the worst ones I've ever been to. Staff in extremely inattentive, and it takes 20 minutes just for someone to come take your order. Every time I come here I am waiting AT LEAST 30 mins just for a simple order.
I mean the downtown Dallas McDonalds is better than this one. I have never in my life so consistently waited 20-30 minutes for an order as I have at this McDonalds. It’s so bad I’m going out of my way to go to the next nearest from here on out. And AFTER waiting for 30 minutes there’s a GOOD bet that you’re missing something and then they find the audacity within themselves to give you attitude as if you’re somehow the one in the wrong. I even placed the order 20 minutes before showing up. I mean ZERO urgency. The entire 20 minutes minimum I stood there the on shift manager is sitting here yelling at everyone cause absolutely no one I doing their jobs. Legit watching people throw sandwiches at each other cause they’re mad they’re getting called out. Based on what I over heard it all boils down to poor ownership according to what said sandwich thrower proclaimed. Hope they close this place fr. Edit: after all of that I get my food and it’s cold. You can’t make it up bro
As a DoorDash driver, I’ve had repeated issues at this McDonald’s. It honestly feels personal at this point. The staff often ignore you when you say you have an order even when the manager (BIG Black dude who’s usually at the front) is right there. I’ll clearly announce I’m picking up, and they act like they don’t hear me. Today was another example: I was standing there waiting, they saw me the entire time, and even after my order was ready, no one handed it to me. Another worker eventually came and gave it to me. It’s extremely frustrating when you’re just trying to do your job and they purposely make it difficult. Other nearby McDonald’s locations like Sachse and Murphy are much more professional and friendly. This location needs a whole new crew that actually does their job and helps people instead of making the experience miserable.
You guys need to close the lobby. You have 8 employees and a manger working drive thru. They have made eye contact with me but didn’t say a word. There was a young man desire me and the lady manager helped him and blew me and the young lady standing next to me. You guys really suck at customer service. A 2.9 rating is very generous. Close the lobby because all McDonald’s cares about is drive thru.
Came here in the morning for breakfast before school ordered ahead by 15 minutes. Drive thru wasn’t working, service was awful it wasn’t even busy. I had to go inside and they gave me the complete wrong food.The lady at the front wasn’t listening when I showed her my app order. I was then late for school because I had to wait 7 more minutes for them to make a sandwich with 2 things on it and an empty lobby. Overall pissed off.
They need to change management asap! Workers rather be on their phone than go up to you and take your order. I do uber eats, and they literally see you walk in, and they rather stay on their phone. I had to literally say excuse me to get their attention and, mind you, the manager was there in front of him. A white male was the manager on duty. The store is filthy and dirty. I'd rather drive more to the Murphy location. Employees who are making the food on their phone and then keep working on the food with the same gloves that’s disgusting. Picking their nose and not even washing hands.
I recently revisited the Wylie McDonald's after a long hiatus, hoping the recent renovations might signal a fresh start. While I noticed some genuine effort from the staff to improve service, unfortunately, the overall experience still left much to be desired. The parking lot was surprisingly packed for 9:00am on a Saturday, which made finding a spot a challenge. Inside, I was able to find a seat easily and placed my order through the app for table delivery. While the food arrived promptly, my drink order was mishandled—not once, but twice. I ordered a latte and was given a mocha overloaded with sweetener. When I politely asked for a correction, the manager replaced it with the exact same mocha. For clarity: a latte should be espresso and steamed milk, not a sugar bomb. Another disappointment was the removal of the self-serve soda fountains during renovation. Now, every drink-related request—water, ice, refills—requires a trip to the counter. I found myself needing to interrupt the staff multiple times, which felt inefficient and awkward for everyone involved. To be fair, I did notice a marked improvement in the staff’s attitude compared to past visits. They seemed genuinely committed to better service, which I appreciate. However, even with those efforts, this location continues to fall short of basic expectations. For now, I’ll be making the extra drive to other McDonald’s locations that offer a more consistent and customer-friendly experience.
I went to get the Lil McDonald’s happy meal since I saw online it drops July 1st NATIONWIDE and they gave me some ugly looking alien toys, this was not what I was expecting! I called and they said they don’t know when they will have it. Why would McDonald’s post on their marketing page if they don’t have them at every location!
Lunch time is where all the problems happen. Evening is fine but day time? Cooks don’t know how to prepare a burger and follow instructions. They park you for 20-30 min then come out with your food order missing items or a have made request. This place needs to retrain everyone. Won’t go back anytime soon. Picture below shows how great they follow instructions 🤦🏻♂️ extra onions not less onions? Also neee to know what goes in a happy meal. Always missing something. Such a joke the last visit.
I am extremely disappointed with the service and food quality I received at this McDonald’s location. As shown in the attached photo, the Big Mac I was served was not assembled properly—it included two patties but only one slice of cheese, which is unacceptable for an item that is supposed to include two cheeses and the signature Big Mac presentation. It looked hastily put together, with ingredients messily thrown in, and the overall quality was very poor. What made the experience even more frustrating was the fact that I had to take time out of my day to return to the location the following day to address the issue. This was highly inconvenient and should not be necessary when paying for a specific item and expecting standard quality and accuracy. When I spoke to the manager, their response was disinterested and dismissive. There was no genuine concern or accountability shown for how the food was prepared or the inconvenience caused. I do not recommend this location based on my experience. I will continue to visit the Murphy location instead, where the food is consistently fresh and the staff are friendly and professional.
