I can confirm the reviews that the service is rushed, as if they're eager to leave, even though I arrived at 9:30 PM. I have to admit the peanut sauce is excellent and the tacos are pretty good, however, the cheese is Manchego, and a different type would be a huge plus. I ordered a café de olla (Mexican-style coffee) and it was served cold. The passion fruit water was tasteless. 7/10 overall experience. 5 stars for the ambiance because the music is good.

The food is okay but the service is bad. We asked if there was service and they welcomed us and then almost chased us away (because they wanted to leave). They started getting up. I think if there's no time, you don't say "yes there is service" and offer to take it away or whatever.

Tuve la desdicha de probar tanto los tacos como la papa al carbón con carne asada durante el festival del taco 2026 de Xalapa. Error deberían llamarse "más salado" la carne estaba salado y cruda. Quizás fue un hecho aislado durante el festival pero la verdad muy caro y muy malo.

Pésima experiencia comprando, a parte de que nos querían cobrar algo que no pedimos, se le hablo a los dueños y en lugar de dar soluciones, insultaron y dijeron que no nos regresaran nuestro dinero.

Pesima atencion, tratan muy mal al cliente y la comida no lo vale , no esta excelente.

Let's take this one step at a time. The service was deplorable. What the other negative reviews say is true. They seemed to be in a hurry (but they were in a rush to get us out of there), and there weren't even that many people to justify such haste. Then, before we'd even finished our food, they were already clearing up. They didn't even say "excuse me" when clearing the table, and it seems like they charge for napkins because they gave us like seven? Speaking of the food, the worst part of the night was the horchata, which was quite sweet and didn't taste good. As for the meat, it was salty, and the potato had a refrigerated taste (I'm not saying it was refrigerated, but if it wasn't, check that because it's even worse. Where did that taste come from?). Furthermore, the prices are excessive. For the price of a kilo of asada, you can buy much more food, and better food, at almost any other place. The price doesn't justify the food because it lacks quality and flavor. Overall, horrible service, horrible food, excessively expensive prices, a terrible experience, I definitely wouldn't return and indeed the negative reviews are real.

We went for dinner around 10:30 pm, knowing the place closes at 11. They told us they could serve us, but from the moment we sat down, they were in a hurry to close. As soon as we finished eating, they handed us the bill without asking for it, without explaining that they were closing the register, and they asked us to move our car because they needed to move their things. We understand it was already late, but it would have been better if they had calmly told us from the start that they couldn't serve us anymore. It wasn't until I was about to finish that I noticed, which is why I didn't mention it before. At first glance, the dish looked fine. I wasn't looking for something free; I just wanted to receive what was shown. When I mentioned the staff, it wasn't made up or exaggerated. When I told the waitress about the situation, she replied, "That's how the potato is; there's no other way to make it." We, as customers, commented that they should add butter to prevent this from happening, which was impossible due to her mocking remark. Along with the person preparing the meal, they simply aren't listening to the customer's positive feedback. Regarding the parking, I didn't say there were no spaces for motorcycles or that it was impossible, but rather that if it was occupied by five cars, it would fill up quickly. Regarding the cost, I mentioned my total bill, not the "average price." I find it quite unfortunate that they assume I "had some kind of problem." That type of comment is not only unprofessional, but it also demonstrates a lack of empathy for the customer. Instead of questioning the emotional state of the person giving them feedback, they should question their attitude as a business. I want to clarify that I didn't arrive with There's no problem here. The problem arose precisely from the way your service is handled. If you interpret any complaint or comment as a sign that the customer is unhappy, then the real problem isn't with me. I don't think I'm the only one with a terrible experience at this place. The truth is, the attitude and customer service are always terrible. That's why I didn't go back and I don't recommend going at all. The food, as the name suggests, was charred. It's a shame, really, because for businesses to be successful, they need excellent customer service... I recommend the owners pay more attention to their employees and how they treat customers.

Terrible service from both the owners and the staff. They wanted to charge us for extra food that we didn't order and when we told them about it, they became very insistent and rude. I recommend not going so you don't leave with a bad taste in your mouth and the food being anything but good.
