Good family atmosphere, the food is good, there are no waiters, you have to go get the food yourself, it's an interesting concept, it would be nice if they had breakfast.

The place is very nice and seems safe, but it's excessively expensive for the quality of the food. If you go, bring sunscreen and insect repellent. The games, restrooms, and the place itself look very clean. The only downside was that it's too expensive for what they serve, and I also found the staff somewhat classist. My 5-year-old son was dying of heat, and I thought it would be easy to take off his shirt, and they told me to put it back on. I think if it had been an adult, I would have understood, but he's just a child. A dog almost jumped on my younger daughter, and they didn't say a word. Honestly, the place is very nice, but worth visiting only once.

The place is nice, but I wouldn't go back; I don't recommend it. It's too expensive to also have to be your own server (you have to go to a different area to order, pick up your food, and clean your table). The menu is very limited, they charge for parking, and if it's busy, the service is very slow. (We stood for an hour waiting for our food.)

We saw videos on social media heavily promoting the garden area where you could lie down in teepees and bring your dog, but when we arrived there were only three of these teepee-like areas with shade. None of the videos mentioned that these spaces cost money; the rental is 1000 pesos, which I consider an exorbitant amount for a shady spot, especially since you'll be buying food and drinks there. Even palapa rentals on the beach aren't that expensive. There are picnic mats you can use on the grass, but there's very little shade. To call it pet-friendly is a stretch; it's very hot, there isn't enough shade or space to be comfortable with them, and they don't offer water bowls—I always bring water myself. In the center, there's a covered area that isn't grass, with small tables like the ones you find at garden parties, but it doesn't seem very pet-friendly. The atmosphere is more family-oriented, at least on the day we went. It would be good if they opened earlier so it wouldn't be so crowded. heat or more umbrellas

Xochimilco lacks restaurants, and the few that exist are far from the center. This place is no exception; it's not that close to the center, and for the quality of the food, it's incredibly expensive! Their prices are outrageous; I'd rather continue eating at the market.

You could pay the same for another place with a better atmosphere, quality of food, and waiters. First and last time I've been to this "Sunday in Xochimilco." Terrible place 👎🏼 For not giving it 0 stars.
