I love it I love it. PERFECT spot for a ride to escape the city. I love that I could get a delicious green juice as well. I brought a zip tie-style lock with me, but other folks left their bikes right outside for a second and all was fine. Lovely staff, 10/10 will be back next summer :)

Every time I’m cycling the trail I try to swing by. Very friendly and helpful staff, tasty smoothies and a nice choice of snacks! Oh, and it turned out there’s a patio right behind it :)

A charming place to have a treat and the vegan options were a pleasant surprise. Healthy food and fresh ice cream, a back area with games, chess, jenga and a large wooden game of connect four. Utensils are bio based materials and the establishment is clean and loved. I hope they do well!

Great stop for cyclists and anyone else on the bike trail. So convenient and great smoothies for cooling down and energy boosts, as well as paninis and bowls. Indoor and limited outside seating, with a bike rack.

A Hidden Gem in Yorktown Heights! Trailside Café is hands-down one of my favorite local spots! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the friendliest staff around. The vibe is laid-back but full of energy — the perfect place to grab a smoothie after a hike or sit down for a cozy coffee chat. Their juices and smoothies are incredible — always fresh, never too sweet, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and they have a ton of options whether you’re in the mood for something fruity, green, or protein-packed. My personal go-to is the “Green Machine” — refreshing and energizing without being overpowering. They also have great coffee, light bites, and some surprisingly good breakfast and lunch options. It’s clear the team behind Trailside Café puts a lot of care into everything they do, from the menu to the presentation to the service. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is 100% worth a visit. Support small businesses like this — they’re the heart of the community!

Trailside Café is a little oasis. I sat on the patio with my smoothie and just enjoyed the calm vibe. Friendly staff, and a cozy energy that makes you want to stay a while. This is my new go-to spot for a reset.

Cute little cafe in town. Juice was made with fresh produce & empanada had a kick & was delicious. Only difficult thing was finding parking. Was nice to visit while I was in town visiting officials though!

Recently renovated, this charming coffee and smoothie shop has great, healthy food and service. The staff provides a friendly, warm environment for kids and older folks alike. 10 stars out of 5 possible stars for Trailside!

A must try if you’re passing by on the Empire State Trail. The convenience of being right off the trail is fantastic, and orders are prepared relatively quickly. I’ve never tried the food, but the juices and smoothies are great. Perfect place to rest and fuel up.

We stopped here before going to the Forbidden Forest experience and it was the most amazing cafe - it had everything! Coffee selection was wonderful, acai bowls, smoothies, sandwiches, soups, pastries, etc. My son was thrilled that they had strawberry ice-cream with rainbow sprinkles and fresh strawberry topping! The interior is very cute and welcoming. If I'm ever in the area again, this will be a must stop.

I stopped by with my kid after a walk and I loved it! The outdoor patio was perfect, and the menu had something healthy and tasty for everyone. Even my picky eater finished his smoothie. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Small shop along the county trail that seems to be popular with cyclist. I suppose any place that has miniature bicycles and artwork would be. They serve primarily smoothies with some prepared cold and hot foods and beverages like coffee and tea. I had a mild beef patty. It was a little burnt when it was pulled it out of the toaster but surprisingly, it tasted good. There was only one worker there when my group arrived. The worker managed the counter as best they could given the lack of help so, as expected, it took time to service all of the customers. However, most, if not all of the customers, were patient. There is seating with umbrellas in front of the café as well as a nice seating area in the rear.

Cute place. You have to cross a major road to get from the parking lot. Nice atmosphere. Doesn't smell too great inside though. Our ice creams had different amounts in them, even though they were the same size. Which for kids is hard. Ice creams were really good. Stop by if you are on the trail. There is a bike rail to lock up on the other side of the street.

Smoothie was good, wasn't a fan of the juice and the chicken panini has barely any chicken in it. Quinoa has too much celery and not much flavor.

Good smoothies but always understaffed, especially during sat/sun morning rushes (it's a stopping point for the local running/biking trail). No real food options, and the shakes aren't great. But the smoothies are very refreshing, and they come our relatively quickly given the ratio of customers and employees.

I don't normally write very negative reviews, but my experience here was really disappointing. We went on a nice 50km bike ride, and I was really looking forward to a post ride ice cream cone. This place was conveniently located right across from the parking, and the photos from the reviewers made it look great. So my husband ordered two small cones, which were $5 each, and have a generous tip. We received what were possibly the smallest scoops of ice cream I've had. It was *maybe* a generous quarter cup of ice cream on each cone. I think there's more ice cream in a Drumstick. We didn't say anything because nobody wants to be that jerk that complains about the amount of ice cream they receive. And the ice cream itself was pretty good, but there wasn't much to enjoy. So, given the price charged, this feels like "ripoff" territory to me. You'd be better served walking over to Uncle Giuseppe's market and buying a box of ice cream bars for that price.

The WORST matcha I’ve ever had and I’ve had matcha from hundreds of places. It’s the only drink I get at cafes so I know what different matcha tastes like. This is honestly the only time I was this unhappy with a drink order… I want a refund. I think it tastes so bad because they are using really cheap matcha powder. It doesn’t even taste like fake matcha. The lady was nice and tried to remake it because we thought the vanilla was the culprit but alas it tasted the same gross taste even with just matcha and oat milk. Threw it out right away. I’m so disappointed ☹️
