GulaGula Zacatlán Reviews
Excellent choice. My family and I personally loved it. Everything was great. We've tried other restaurants in the area, and so far, this is the best. A very pleasant view and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended from Mexico City.
Excellent restaurant, 100% recommended. Very attentive and friendly staff, cordial service, delicious dishes at an affordable price. Without a doubt, it's now my favorite restaurant in Zacatlán. Don't hesitate to visit and enjoy an excellent meal in a family atmosphere with a wonderful view.
Very good service, excellent waiter attitude, delicious food, cozy place and very beautiful view, we will definitely return.
The view was very beautiful, although it was an extra, the windows were a bit opaque, the food was cold, the coffee was good but cold, the service was so-so, the staff should know what the dishes they offer contain (suggestion).
The service is excellent. The view is unbeatable. In my opinion, their only weakness is a more extensive menu of traditional dishes!
They have an incredible view, the staff is attentive and friendly, they are attentive to whatever you need, the menu is not very varied, the food is not bad but it is not the best I have tried either, it is just okay.
All the comments are right, IT TOOK MORE THAN 1 HOUR to serve 4 arracheras, we were the only table and the service was slow, the waitress was friendly, but we had to shout down the stairs for her to pay attention, the view is good, but it's not worth waiting so long for a view that you can have at the viewing point just a few steps away... the only good things were the michelada and the cold beer.
The view is nice, but the food is pretty average, bordering on bad. The salsa had a bit of a problem, and the waiter didn't care, and after we finished eating, he changed the salsa and all he did was move it to another table, not caring about the problem. We ordered a breakfast that came with coffee, and they brought it to us in the end, even though we asked for it three times. We also ordered milanesas, which reportedly came with enchiladas, and they already tasted bad. The service is extremely slow. We were told they were going to bring us tortillas, but they never arrived. The waiter forgets what you ordered and how to follow up on the service. The place looks dirty, and overall, I would rate it as bad. I don't know if it was because they weren't used to the people there or what, but it wasn't okay. In the end, they gave us some courtesy, but I don't feel like it improves the service or food. I wouldn't recommend it.
The view is nice but the food is pretty average, the service is slow (even though we were the only diners) and the waiter, although friendly, couldn't answer our questions about the menu; he was completely unfamiliar with his workplace.
TERRIBLE RESTAURANT, FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH DON'T GO I ordered a plate of eggs and pancakes for my baby, and both were reheated from the day before and someone else's leftovers. The egg was black from being reheated so many times, as was the pancake. My baby ate a little and vomited; he was sick for a week. Obviously, I sent the plate back, but it doesn't make up for the huge harm it could have caused if my baby had eaten it all. Doing that when they knew it was a dish for a baby is heartless. Don't be fooled by the place; it's pretty, but the food is disgusting, the place is dirty, and the chef definitely doesn't know how to cook or season food.
The only good thing is the view, slow service, poor attention, average to bad food, I do not recommend it.
The only good thing is the view. Today I went with friends and family. It took an hour to bring the food, and only half of the group arrived. The food was cold; it's not good. We had to cancel and go elsewhere. The positive comments are probably from the owners.
