Agudo Zaragoza Reviews
I was driving by in my van, and it seemed odd to see a restaurant somewhere out in the open. And what a surprise! It was packed, the waiters were really friendly, and the menu was just like home cooking. I highly recommend getting lost here.
They make you feel at home from the moment you walk in; they're wonderful people 😊 Fantastic service and very good food. Salad, potatoes, grilled lamb, and delicious homemade desserts—everything was exquisite. The price is great for how good the food is, honestly. Highly recommended.
Ok
Amazing lamb meat!!
It brings back fond memories of a time when happiness was measured by the number of family members seated at the same table. The cuisine is uncomplicated, the potatoes incredible, the meat excellent, all unpretentious, but with a fully stocked restaurant that speaks volumes about its success.
A Zaragoza classic specializing in grilled food. The portions are generous and high quality. Not only that, but the staff is known for their professionalism and friendliness. There are two seatings, at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. So if you want to linger, choose the second one so you don't get rushed out.
Lamb ribs and fresh salad , best place at west zaragoza
Good food
Very good grill. Fresh products
A simple, unpretentious restaurant with paper tablecloths. The green salad was extremely salty. The lamb was tasty, and the fried eggs and potatoes were just okay—hard to mess up. The worst part was the waiter, who acted like he was doing us a favor. He was rude, huffing and puffing every time we asked him something, and had an unfriendly and unfriendly attitude. To top it off, he didn't understand the language well or couldn't hear properly, so it seemed like it was our fault every time we asked for something because he didn't understand. I don't know if we've ever encountered such an unpleasant waiter; perhaps he should do something else. You go to McDonald's and the service is much better. We're not from Zaragoza and booked because it was on our way, and the truth is, even though it's a simple restaurant, they shouldn't neglect the service because they're not giving anything away for free.
The service was adequate, and the menu was standard, with good value for money. But... THE STEW... that wasn't a stew at all, it was a substitute. From the presentation to the quality of the dish, it left much to be desired—one of the worst stews I've ever had. I think they should put more effort into the presentation and quality.
Having made a reservation for 11 people a month in advance, and arriving at the restaurant an hour early, they decided to seat us in a room in the back area, which had a distinctly musty smell. The kitchen, refrigerators, and back exit were also located there. The room was freezing cold, and while they offered to heat it with a split air conditioner, it created so much humidity that we were slipping on the floor. The food, while tasty enough for our taste, was very small for the price. Personally, I will not return to this restaurant. Even though we tried our best, as the family wanted to be together, they ruined our Three Kings' Day and my grandfather's anniversary.
A place I'll never return to. The private room they seated us in was shameful. A run-down, old hovel next to the kitchens. The starters we shared were mediocre, and the lamb chops were burnt. The price was another outrage. There were 7 adults and 5 children in our party. They brought us a basket of bread, a bottle of awful house wine, and a bottle of water. They charged us a €30 service charge for that! So, it came to almost €30 per person (with only 3 desserts), we left hungry, and what we did eat was mediocre. Not recommended at all.
We went for lunch and the service was terrible. They charged us an exorbitant amount for lamb chops that were literally charred. The bread, which they charged us an arm and a leg for, was like chewing gum. The house wine was also overpriced and completely ruined. The fries were oily and ridiculously expensive. The waiter who served us was quite rude. They put us in a tiny room next to the kitchens; it was freezing cold. A very bad experience. I absolutely do not recommend it. The food was bad, and on top of that, the service was awful. I'm never going back.
Awful. We went as a family to celebrate my mother's birthday and it was terrible. To begin with, despite having a reservation made well in advance, they crammed us into a tiny room near the kitchen, all 7 adults and 5 children, far from the dining area. Seeing reviews of the place afterward, we're not the first to have this happen to us. It was freezing cold and the floor was slippery from the dampness. Very bad. Then the ribs came out burnt, but they were literally overcooked. And the worst part of all was the price. They charged us 10 euros for a supposed table service (even though there were 5 children) which consisted of a bottle of rancid house wine and awful bread. That's why it came to 30 euros. The portion of ribs for 10 people was incredibly small, and the croquettes were also overpriced. The fries were good, but 28 euros for two trays of potatoes is unheard of (I've attached a photo of the bill). The quality-price ratio is outrageous. We told the waiter, but it didn't help. Of course, I won't be back, and I don't recommend it.
We've never eaten so badly as we did yesterday in Agudo. We've always eaten well there and recommended it, but yesterday was awful. We understand it was Saturday and busy, but the quality of the lamb left much to be desired; the ribs were overcooked and tasteless. We won't be back.
