French people who have been living in Rosas, Spain for several years, visiting Zaragoza and staying at the nearby BB hotel, recommend this establishment for coffee and lunch, nothing but positive things to say, and charming people to boot.
Wow! I just had some crispy potato wedges with three sauces with a friend, just for a casual bite... Amazing! I'm definitely going back, not just for the potatoes. They had some tapas that looked so good I plan to try them next time I'm in the area! The service was fantastic, both from the waiter and the bartender!
Neighborhood bar with excellent food and excellent value. Despite the bar being packed, the service was excellent, attentive and fast. I highly recommend it.
We went for dinner yesterday, and despite it being quite busy, the service was excellent and fast. Our favorite dish was the goat cheese salad. I'd also highlight the grilled baby squid with aioli; although it might seem like a simple dish, the presentation was superb, with toasted bread, the crispy baby squid tentacles prepared Andalusian style, and then the grilled squid itself. Even though we're not from the neighborhood, we'll definitely be back.
I was pleasantly surprised by the place. As often happens when expectations are high, the croquettes weren't all that great; they were bland. However, the set menu was five stars. Very, very good, beautifully presented, good quality, and a good portion. And the service was excellent.
Great food and cheap...service fantastic.
Great food, good service...
The cafeteria is very nice, the owner is friendly, and the toast is delicious. However, sitting for 20 minutes, and listening to the coins being dropped from the slot machines for those 20 minutes, was a bit of a nightmare; we could barely talk. But it was just bad luck because the place is great for breakfast or a drink.
The place is nice, clean, and fresh. They have a fan of good croquettes, which I personally didn't like very much... That's my taste and my opinion. They've won several awards for their croquettes and have been finalists several times, but again, I didn't like them enough to win any awards.
Tapas y menus
I didn't like that, as soon as we arrived at 12:45 pm, we wanted to have coffee and something to eat, but all the tables were reserved for the set menu. What if we didn't want the set menu? They let us sit at a reserved table that hadn't been set yet and told us we could use it until 1:15 pm. But then, right on time, they came to tell us we had to leave the table, politely, I must say. What we really didn't like, and what really upset us, was that there were 5 or 6 tables already set and free for lunch, and they kicked us out of ours. I was stunned. I left with a bite still in my mouth. These kinds of unpleasant details make you not want to come back. You never know who the customer you've asked to leave might be, and whether they liked the place and were thinking of coming back for tapas or even a meal. Certainly not this time.
