Tapelia Zaragoza Reviews
Awesome place in the town center. The croquetas and tacos were amazing. They also have a very affordable lunch menu.
Luis was an amazing server but I think because the we came close to closing the main courses could’ve been better. All the appetizers and drinks were great
This is one of my favourite places, simple but detailed and balanced menu
We’re from Denmark and currently visiting Spain. Some friends had recommended Boca, especially for their Iberian pork "pluma", so we made a stop in Zaragoza to try it. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the service, especially from Mario, our waiter. That day, they were updating the menu and didn’t yet have an English version. Still, Mario made sure we understood everything, he brought us the menu and carefully explained each dish with clarity, warmth, and dedication. It was clear that his priority was to make sure we felt welcome and had the best experience possible. We also really appreciated his wine knowledge. He suggested different pairings based on what we ordered, and each one was spot on. His attitude was flawless: attentive, kind, and highly professional. We truly felt at home. Thank you, Mario!
Honestly couldn’t recommend enough. All the staff were incredible especially our server Mario who was very informative and helpful. All staff spoke excellent English so communication was very easy. Food was delicious and everything was very reasonably priced. Would defiantly recommend if you are in the area. Thankyou so much again to the lovely team at La Bocca!😊
The waitstaff were very kind. They made wine recommendations and ensured we had a good time. It was a good place for people watching
Had a lovely evening. The staff were super helpful with the menu and drinks suggestions. The food was delicious.
I have been to La Bocca many times and the service and food is INCREDIBLE! The menu has something for everyone and is of high quality for a great price. I highly recommend dining with Marco Antonio, whom was a phenomenal server and offered great recommendations for our group. If you are looking for tasty Spanish food in a comfortable, chic environment, you must go here!
Visited on a recent trip to Zaragoza, we found the staff very pleasant and friendly. The food was amazing, particularly the squid and ribs rice! Would definitely recommend this restaurant! :)
We were invited by our host to this place, must say that everything was perfect, the starters, the main course. The kitchen of this specific area of Spain is just magnificent.
I dined solo and ordered the menu del Dia. Good gazpacho and octopus roll and the cheesecake, which was recommended, was great. But what really topped this meal off was the one liter bottle of wine and water...all for 16 euro! Great deal!
Made a reservation for 8 people and they were able to accomodate. The food was great and the service was able to take care of us as well as the rest of the restaurant with resonably. I will definately be going back!
Great food, even though not everything was exactly to my taste, excellent service from Juan Carlos, and a great overall vibe. Couldn't ask for more :)
Really good food, especially for the price. The menu of the day is just fantastic at this cost and the service is top notch. Highly recommended!
Great vibes on a busy Saturday . Easy menu, great food and Juan Carlos our waiter was fast and polite . Will visit again for sure .
The place was buzzing when we arrived for our booking at 19.00 and we had the last outside table available. A queue built up whilst we were selecting. Starting off with sangria and mojito. We ordered a seafood platter to share followed by lobster and pasta for our daughters. Everything v good and also great service
The food is not consistent. The first time I went there and ordered the crispy red snapper. It was big, very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. So, I went there again and ordered the same dish. But the fish is smaller, bland and over fried. But, it’s still a good value compared to other restaurants. We got complimentary sangria when getting our checks which is nice.
A very atmospheric place! Separately, I want to highlight the staff here is 10/10!!! Very welcoming, pleasant and friendly!) The food is delicious! Tartar is amazing, mussels are probably the most delicious I’ve ever eaten! Sangria is just amazing! I think we’ll come back here more than once!)
Tapelia on Lincoln Road turned out to be an amazing surprise. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The Alaskan wild-caught salmon was the star—perfectly cooked, tender, and paired with fresh vegetables and rice. The fried red snapper was just as impressive: crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and served with a simple but delicious salad. The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the dishes looked as good as they tasted (photo attached says it all). If you’re walking down Lincoln Road and craving great seafood with generous portions, Tapelia is absolutely worth the stop.
Visiting Miami from Texas.. If you’re looking for some traditional Spanish food, stop by Tapelia Restaurant for some an amazing Paella. We chose the veggie Paella. It had rice, eggplant, red peppers, zucchini and squash, along with an order of shrimp added. The mix of all these veggies was perfect. they even brought us a free glass of Sangria. We would definitely visit Tapelia again.
What an incredible experience!I've been wanting to go here for a very long time. We live in South Beach. There are so many restaurants on Lincoln road, some are gimmicky some are overpriced. This place is neither of those things. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing! We will definitely come back here as a local. Everything was perfectly cooked!
Outstanding place… from the decor… the drinks… the food… but must importantly .. the attention.. they make you feel special.. like a valued customer( in an era of indiference and cold treatments) this establishment is the Antigone of that. Especially Malen and Leo…they made our entire day so special
From the moment we arrived, Rafa made our dining experience truly exceptional. Her warm welcome immediately set the tone for the evening, and throughout our visit he was attentive without ever being intrusive. Rafa anticipated our needs before we even had to ask—whether it was refilling a glass, making thoughtful menu suggestions, or checking in at just the right moment. Her professionalism, genuine hospitality, and deep knowledge of the menu elevated our experience far beyond expectations. It’s rare to encounter someone who can combine efficiency, charm, and genuine care so seamlessly, but Rafa did exactly that. We left not only impressed with the food, but feeling truly valued as guests.
Tapelia is a great lunch or dinner spot. The menu definitely has something for everyone. We started with appetizers that were perfectly seasoned and prepared. Our entrees were also served hot and fresh and just like each one of us ordered. Next time you are in South Beach you definitely need to add this restaurant to your to do list.
Santiago was very accommodating !! Good food with big servings. Happy hour was worth it!! $5 for beer and sangria & $8 for mojito/margaritas. Place was a vibe, good design. They were attentive to our needs. All food looks so delish!! will recommend and will definitely come back!
Mario Wallens through the menu options and was on point for suggestions. He was equally great at educating us on regional wines. This resulted in an excellent dinner in a fabulous location. We enjoyed the grilled octopus, the scallops and gentleman’s rice.
Foods were not bad, but i was not satisfied. i ordered medium cooked for the steak, but the one I received was rare, and I didn't like it. Although at the same time, the other food we ordered, tastes good.
Generally great value we ordered the La bocca menu which was v good although my husband said steak not great but everything else was fabulous and the owner v attentive
Meat paella was supposed to be pork & chicken but we only found 1 piece of pork. The rest was a mix of boneless (slightly dry & on the bland side) & bone in (moist & tasty) chicken. The rice was good with a rich taste & good moistness. The red peppers had a nice sweetness. It was a pretty big portion. They automatically served us tap water at the start but service after that was sparse (it was a busy night). They charge a 20% service charge like most (or all) restaurants in the area.
Came because of the high reviews and ratings. Fantastic location, felt like we were in Spain again. Our server spoke little English and served almost everything correctly. My dish was completely wrong and our waitress wouldn’t fix it. I’m not a complainer so I felt bad even asking but I really did want to try what I had ordered. After an hour of waiting and a different waiter asking if things were ok, she fixed it. Food was amazing and would go back again but would hope to not have the same waitress because we had to beg to get refills of water and a bill? Unheard of.
We were walking around and decided to stop by since the hostess approached us while we were looking at the menu, she was super nice and she guided us through the menu, the server Paula was super nice and knowledgeable as well, she sold us the Seafood paella right way, the portion was big enough to share, the flavor was there but it was missing some key points that I love about a paella like the socarrat that’s the crispy and delicious crust in the bottom of the paella and also some type of sauce on top of it. The Cod and Ham croquettes were delicious and the texture was perfect the only (?) was the little salad that comes with it. They have good deals for happy hour too, so overall a good experience.
It's a really nice place. Classy and well light and I felt relaxed the moment I walked in. Most of the food was really good although my steak wasn't as good as I was expecting, especially as the starters were so good. I particularly recommend the burrito. The service was good but the music was a little loud at first and it was a bit hard to have a conversation. Would come back.
Terrible service. Two of the main courses were wrong which meant that two out of six people received their food when the rest had finished - no apology. We then ordered desserts which took them ages to bring out. It was my boyfriend's birthday and I gave them candles to put in his dessert - they forgot. Then we ordered coffees which took another 30 minutes to come out. At the end the bill took another 20 minutes, at least. Shame about the service because the food was delicious.
Stopped here for lunch with 6 people. The server told us sangria was $5/mug for happy hour but charged us $7.95 each. I only noticed when checking the bill later. The next day, the manager offered complimentary sangria to make up for it, which was nice, but the dishonesty was disappointing. We ordered salad, empanadas, tortilla española, milanesa napolitana, and seafood paella for 3 people ($89.95). Portions were generous, but the food was bland across the board – even the expensive paella lacked flavor. They automatically add 7% FL sales tax, 2% Miami Beach tax, and 20% service charge to your bill, so the final price adds up quickly. Service was friendly, and would recommend to order the fettucini pasta which is reasonably priced, taste good and good portion, but I can't recommend the paella. Verify all prices before ordering, especially when they advertised their happy hour deal.
