Comedor Abuelos Zinacantepec Reviews
Comida deliciosa hecha a mano y gente muy amable.
Everything is very tidy and clean, and I love that the decor is adapted to the season. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the owner is very friendly and always attentive. The price is very reasonable and includes two soups, a main course, dessert, water, and tortillas. They also have a small private area for family or work events, which I highly recommend.
Delicious food. Pleasant place. Varied dishes, excellent location.
The food is very good and the place is nice.
A very nice and cozy place, with good service and even better attention. Very grateful for the food and service.
It's a very quiet, comfortable, and pleasant place. The owner is very friendly. The food is delicious, and the value for money is excellent.
It meets the three Bs: you feel right at home, and the atmosphere is beautiful. The place is always decorated to match the season (for example: Fiestas patriotas, Christmas, etc.). Special mention to the suadero tacos; they're exquisite.
It's a hidden gem, but quite cozy. There's a great variety of stews on the menu, the seasoning is good, the portions are generous, and the price is reasonable. The hours are a bit short, as they close at 5 pm. Highly recommended!
A traditional spot in downtown Zinacantepec, very pleasant, with good service... I recommend the daily menu with several options depending on the day and season. Traditional homemade food with great flavor! The best time is lunchtime, between 2 and 3 in the afternoon!
A very cozy and pleasant place with excellent service, the staff very attentive. The food, to say the least, is delicious, very well seasoned, and the canary's trill is a great accompaniment. I highly recommend it, and the prices are super, affordable for everyone. Go!!!

The food is not the same anymore...a long time ago (approximately 2 years ago) it was better...I couldn't say why it has changed so much!!
The rating I would give this place is 7 for facilities and cleanliness... The table where I sat was dirty and sticky; that clear plastic they put over the tablecloth was filthy. Food: 8. The watery soup was fava bean soup. And if you wanted something else, there simply wasn't any—no consommé or any other kind of soup. Service: they took a long time to attend to you, to serve you, and even to take your payment.
I went because someone recommended the place, and it's awful. Everything is filthy. The food isn't just bad, it's terrible. We ordered mushroom soup, and it was already rotten. The rice was burnt and super old, the spaghetti was dry, and the worst part was the steak dish. I had ordered steak, and you won't believe it! It was literally just a spoonful, and it looked like it had been sitting out for days. I told the waitress not to give it to me. My daughter ordered cochinita pibil tacos, and I swear, out of three tacos, they only managed to make one. They put a strip of chicken lengthwise on the tortilla. It's a terrible, awful place. I beg you to take this review into consideration. We woke up sick today from how little we ate.
Very disappointed. The place is very nice, but despite the good seasoning, what we ate was very bad. The chilaquiles were cold and dry, the enchiladas were hard and very meager, and the chicken already tasted stale.
Terrible experience. I went based on the Google Maps reviews, but the facilities leave much to be desired. The yogurt was awful, it was like glue. The bread was tasteless. The portion was tiny. What seemed to be orange juice was very watered down. The chairs had incredibly dirty, old cushions. Overall, a terrible experience. I would never go back.
My wife and I went for breakfast today. The service was slow, and they weren't very busy. The breakfast was very basic. We ordered chilaquiles, but the portion was small, and the chicken and beef pieces were tiny. They never even served our coffee. Honestly, I don't recommend their breakfasts; they're terrible.
Terrible. You arrive and no one greets you. We sat down and no one came to serve us until I got up to ask, and they told me they would come to the table. All they had was spaghetti soup; they didn't have any bread to go with it. For my main course, I ordered pozole. The portions were tiny and there was practically no meat. The hominy didn't taste right, like the kernels hadn't opened properly, and strangely, I'd never had it with mushrooms before. The water tasted like rice, literally. I'm telling you, the food was bad and the service was awful. I'm sure we won't be back.
