Un bello lugar para comer un delicioso pan de plátano con cacao y un buen café, es de esos pequeños espacios que ya casi no hay 🥹, han escuchado la canción: yo no necesito de mucho? Bueno te transporta a un lugar de paz así, como esa canción, un libro, buena música, pan rico y además de la mano y corazón de mujeres chingonas. Mis favoritos: cacao caliente 100% en leche, Expresso Xocolat y Flat white. Ahhh y el toast de plátano con nibs de cacao no se lo puede perder 🫀

Eindelijk weer goede koffie gedronken. Het is een gezellig rustig steegje, fijne muziek, lief personeel en lekkere drankjes. Verder werd ons getipt om hier chocolade te drinken, so we did. Die was ook erg lekker. Zeker de moeite waard om hier te gaan zitten en je dag te starten.

This THE spot. Get yo cacao pure strong n SMOOTH. The gutls who work here are puro sol 🙌🏾 the dark chocolate seas salt dates som LA BOMBA and the best cold cacao drinks. Yum YUM ALL DAY!

I absolutely love this spot! I’m a serious espresso snob and they make amazing coffee drinks. Their cacao options are just as good and they have some amazing ubique options. The little alley setting is a super great atmosphere and most of all the girls that work there are super nice and great service and helpful making selections. It’s become my morning spot in Zipolite! And perfect location to go jump in the ocean after. Highly recommend!

Best coffee in Zipolite bar none! This shop has delicious authentic Oaxacan chocolate, which they add to many of their excellent drinks. The mocha was a particular standout, I highly recommend it. Plus, the staff were very friendly, and there is a cute seating area outside. Vegan / plant-based milk options too, which is much appreciated.

Absolutely delicious cacao + coffee drinks right in the heart of Zipolite town--this place was a lifesaver for us, far and away the best quality espresso to be found in the area and the original drinks are inventive and wholesome to boot. Highly recommended while you're in town!

Mi lugar favorito en Zipolite Puedes ir a Toloache por un chocolate y un puerquito con pantalones pero es muy fácil decidir quedarte a probar todos sus deliciosos menjurjes de la casa. Chocolates, galletas, panes… todo te hará chuparte los dedos … Arte, sabores, saberes, vista al mar, anfitrionas fabulosas 💕✨

Un ambiente muy ameno y agradable en Zipolite, el café es maravilloso y su alfajor de chocolate delicioso. Si están en Zipolite no dejen de visitar la cafetería Toloache, la atención es maravillosa.

Muy buen local, el mejor que estuvimos en Zipolite; el café y el chocolate son espectaculares, no olvidar pedir las creaciones de la casa, el chocomezcal (chocolate con… mezcal) muy recomendado) y el Toloace (mezcal, chocolate y café), los pasteles y chilaquiles verdes muy buenos también!

Un pequeñito rincón hermoso cerca de la playa dónde se puede comer comida rica y tomar especialidades con chocolate. Les recomiendo probar el chocolate tonic, muy rico!

A beautiful spit tucked off the main street on a wide alley leading to the beach. Great baguette sandwiches, coffee and proper chocolate. It was one of my regular stops in Zipolite. Wonderful owners who put so much effort into running their own business.

An ideal spot to slow down in the shade and enjoy a delicious coffee or smoothie (or stay and have both like I did). The flat white was incredible, best coffee I have had in the area, and my partner’s jugo verde was so good that I ended up ordering the xocolatl smoothie as well. So, so satisfying. The barista was friendly and helped me choose chocolate to bring home. Don’t forget to check out the boutique malora next door! Muchos gracias, we will be back!

We have gone here for breakfast the last several mornings and will continue to for the remainder of our trip! The chilled lattes are excellent and they have some fun drinks that mix espresso and Mezcal. The sandwiches are great as well and a really cute side street atmosphere. Love it!

What a wonderful find! Truly an authentic local coffee shop with great cocao offerings and local coffee. The girls at the cafe were really kind and helpful, especially explaining the cacao drinks. They also have some cocktails and mezcal from the region. My trip to Zipolite wouldn't have been the same without my daily visits to Toloache. They also have weekly activities and workshops! A must go when traveling to Zipolite!

While staying in Zipolite this was our go to cafe!! The coffee was amazing (especially the tonic water with espresso). Has some delicious sweets as-well as a couple nice food options. Tucked away in the alley way it has a nice vibe for sipping your morning brew or enjoying a few cerveza in the afternoon. The staff are lovely and the shop also has a few nice gifts. Would definitely recommend visiting during your time in Zipolite.

Inside Mercadita del Mar, this place was one of the most important spots of our stay in Zipolite. The coffee and the cocoa is great, the vegan snickers and the cheesecake are maybe two of the best sweets we ever ate, their avocado toast with homemade pesto is incredible. A part of this, the whole place was put together and run by a few good friends, each of them brought her own talent. There is even a nice shop of clothes and accessories all made in Oaxaca by locals and a tattooist who is really, really good.

Probably the cutest spot in town to hang and enjoy an iced chocolate drink. HOWEVER, one of the owners is consistently, and incredibly rude. It's baffling.

I was hesitant to even bother writing this review: why give it the energy? but my experience was so off-putting that I felt it was worth sharing. I arrived around 10:00 a.m. when the place was completely empty. The hostess (short hair, visibly in a bad mood) greeted me with zero warmth: no "good morning," no smile, just a sour attitude right from the start. As I took my time reading the menu (I hadn't had coffee yet and wanted to see all the options), she kept pushing me impatiently: "What are you having?" She asked again, even more aggressively, before I'd even decided. Her rude, pushy behavior was so uncomfortable that I simply walked out. I ended up at another spot nearby where I was actually welcomed properly: with a smile and patience, and had a much better experience. Basic courtesy costs nothing. If you're going to open early, at least act like you want customers.
